My name is Keisha Truax. I am from Middletown, Maryland. I have been diagnosed as having EMF Hypersensitivity. It started over a decade ago after living in a home with mold spores. My nervous system become hyper vigilant. EMF's were a great source of physical and emotional anguish. They affected my ability to sleep or rest well. I had Fibromyalgia like pain start. I had headaches and pain in my sinuses. Even after leaving the home with unresolved mold mycotoxins. I am to this day on medication for anxiety, sleep issues, depression, and suffer from headaches, nerve pain and environmental respiratory symptoms. Cell towers are brutal. When I drive by them even when within a quarter mile and can't see it, the pain in my head, and body intensifies. As I get further away from high tension power lines, cell towers, smart meters, wifi sources or a cell phone my symptoms ALWAYS become less severe. I sleep under an emf canopy due to a cell tower a quarter of a mile away. I do not have wifi in my home and keep my cell phone on airplane mode or off 90% of the time. Unless using for specific reasons. It is NOT a phobia and that has been well documented. It is a physiological and neurological reaction. I get stomach aches and feel anxious near EMF's. They have affected my mood and my behavioral like a puppet on a string. Reproducible without me knowing. Every time! I have suffered relocation of a home due to high tension power lines a quarter mile away. It affected my sinuses with pain and pressure, with increased headaches, earache, and insomnia. Not to mention the mix of anxiety and sadness. EMF'S seem to affect the nervous and digestive system as I regularly get nauseous or have vertigo around cell towers or high tension power lines. I have chronic inflammation and it gets worse after certain EMF exposures. When I type on my cell phone my fingers have felt intense pain and then numbness as I type words. It's a chronic issue that increases the more I use my phone. It's not psychological because I'm not a person of fear or someone who is afraid of EMF'S. They affect me so I have to limit. With limit and protection comes a great reduction in neurological, gastrointestinal amd psychological symptoms. EMF'S have made me unable to function at 100% and I can not work. I do NOT get disability and live with my fiancé who is financially well off. I have had my environmental illness with MCS and EMF Hypersensitivity documented by health professionals. I am on medication to help with symptoms and to function as a mother, finace' and as normal of a life as possible. I take Gabapentin, Seroquel, and Propanolol. I have it documented that my heart rate/pulse are in fact affected by electricity, such as sitting next to an electrical outlet or electric device. Rapid heart rate around wifi, cell phones and electrical wiring, smart meters too. They all impact me. I can not go to public spaces without sitting closest to the outside, never in the center, surrounded by all the individual's cell phones. I sit on top row on the far corners at my daughter's sporting events or at church. I was unable to attend any of the above for three years due to SEVERE MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) AND EMF Hypersensitivity. On medication, sleeping under a canopy that shields, and limiting wifi, cell phones and electrical devices has been the only treatment or prevention that works to minimize the negative consequences of EMF exposure, and how it affects my overall health amd physical abilities. Please put better, more strick, regulations on the FCC and the environmental EMF'S all Americas are being exposed too. In schools, in neighborhoods, in public spaces, and homes. We need less smart appliances, smart meters, smart devices, wifi, cell phones, and computers emmitting these cancer causing, neurological antagonizing, and psychological impacting weapons going into our air space, homes and bodies. Obviously there is a conflict of interest with the FCC and Power Companies, Cell Companies, and internet carriers, etc. If there are more regulations and science showing the long reaching short term and long term affects at different levels of exposure it would protect the American people. Please speak up for those who are experiencing these negative health consequences from cell towers, 5G, wifi and high tension power lines everywhere. Help the truth to be spread. Radiation at small and large levels KILLS. It affects our cells. It affects the quality and health of human life. Thank you for being a champion of truth and science. Docket No. HHS-OASH-2026-0397 To Whom It May Concern; My full comment is attached as a PDF. This note summarizes it. I am a retired paramedic and firefighter with over thirty years of service. I worked in fire stations that had commercial wireless antenna arrays mounted on the building. I am not reporting an adverse health effect and I have no diagnosis to attribute to that exposure. What I am submitting is an exposure characterization and a research gap. Career fire service personnel do not visit the station, they live in it. They sleep there, in a fixed location, for twenty-four and forty-eight hour shifts, across careers measured in decades. Where a commercial base station sits on that building, the result is a continuous, fixed-geometry, decades-long exposure to a population that occupies the structure far more hours per year than an ordinary workplace and is unconscious for a large share of them. They fall under the general public exposure limit, which was built around a public assumed to be passing through. Under Section 704 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 their employer is barred from declining the installation on health grounds. In August 2004 the International Association of Fire Fighters adopted Resolution No. 15, asking the federal government for a study "with the highest scientific merit and integrity" contrasting firefighters housed in stations with towers against firefighters without that exposure. It committed the organization to set policy in accordance with whatever the study found. The study was never funded and no federal agency has conducted it. I held elected office in that organization on both sides of that date, and no study came. The federal fire service assessment answering that request, the U.S. Fire Administration's 2008 Executive Fire Officer paper, rests on an evidence base that predates the IARC Group 2B classification of 2011, the National Toxicology Program's finding of clear evidence of carcinogenic activity in 2018, the Ramazzini Institute's independent base-station-model replication in 2018, and the D.C. Circuit's 2021 holding in Environmental Health Trust v. FCC that the Commission failed to justify retaining its 1996 exposure limits. It has not been revisited in eighteen years. I am asking the Department to fund and conduct that cohort study, to characterize aggregate occupational RF dose across the fire and EMS environment, to assess the ambulance patient compartment as an RF environment with attention to implanted cardiac devices, and to recommend mandatory pre-activation and post-activation RF survey with disclosure to the personnel assigned to those buildings. Personal Experience and Reported Physical Effects I am submitting this as an individual describing my personal experiences spanning more than four decades. I report that recurring experiences I associate with RF/EMF-related targeting became noticeable around 2013 in a milder form. I experienced what I personally characterize as a Havana Syndrome event in 2017, additional episodes in 2021 and 2022, and from 2022 onward I report that these experiences became a daily occurrence. I have struggled with leaving my home since December 1, 2009. Since December 17, 2024, when I left for emergency dental treatment, I have not left my home again. The physical effects I report include: • Vestibular problems affecting balance and equilibrium. • Multi-tone tinnitus resembling twanging rubber bands, with multiple tones and changing volume levels. • Progressive hearing loss. • Frequent headaches. • Brain fog that comes and goes. • Spotty memory. • Difficulty sleeping. • Nausea. • Episodes of blurred vision that later correct themselves. • Episodes where my heart feels noticeably weaker and then stronger. • Sensations throughout my body that I describe as cavitation. • Episodes of extreme internal heat followed by cooling, and episodes of feeling unusually cold that are difficult to warm up from. • Two separate episodes involving an intense, high-pitched vibration accompanied by searing heat and pain, followed by teeth shattering apart with significant force—one in 2019 and another in 2024. • An incident involving a forceful impact to the back of my head, after which I spit blood. • Unusual skin injuries that I photographed, including injuries on my nose, behind my right ear, and on the top of my foot, where I observed scabbing that appeared to follow the tendon area. I am submitting these as my firsthand account of the physical effects I experienced and as documentation of injuries I photographed over time. My approach to medical care is shaped by my religious convictions and my understanding of Latter-day Saint teachings, including Doctrine and Covenants Section 89, the 11th Article of Faith in the Pearl of Great Price, and Linda P. Yes it has caused me to have frequent headaches when I've never had them in my life. To the point of pulsating migraines. I can feel when I'm being heated up with a DEW and it destroying my organs such as my heart. I'm only 23 and suffer abnormal incontinence from this. I'm aware it's related because my ex husband confessed yet could not be held criminally responsible because it's unheard of and violence is not something americans tend to control. This tech is being used on millions of women covertly in domestic violence. Then, when they seek help... Their symptoms are dismissed as mental health issues but the evidence is usually silenced or gaslighted. I think it's the cause for the significant rise in cancer. We need to know what these criminals are doing to our body and get us the help we need to heal and safe guard from future events.

I am writing to you today to let you know how I feel EMFs affect me. I am somebody who can actually feel them when I’m holding my phone for a length of time it starts to give me heart palpitations, and a certain anxious feeling in my body. Once I set the phone down far away from me it starts to go away after sometime. I live with 5G towers less than a mile away from my house. I also think those affect the way I feel because I can also feel it in my heart. These devices and towers definitely affect our health and I truly wish we didn’t have to live with them by our houses.

Im a Canadian. Targeted at least since 2014. There are people committing suicide over this tech out here. Ppl dying of arrhythmias. There are people in crisis. Homeless and who have lost everything. We need information. We need help. We need a bigger and more comprehensive investigation

I am submitting these comments in response to HHS's Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMF's), Radiofrequency (RF), and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding for myself, my father, older sister and my son. Myself: I was sickened by the Electrical (ComEd) Smart Meter in March 2018, caused Heart Palpitations (AFIB), Sleep issues, Agitation, Anxiety like feelings, I connected the dots due to a notice being placed on my front door from the electrical company stating they had just installed the new Smart Meter. I called ComEd and a gentleman in a Hazmat suit uninstalled the meter with in 5 days (for a fee $75 and I pay $22 a month to have it manually read), they have shared after putting back the old Analog Meter, that the Smart Meters are no longer Mandatory in Illinois. Once the the Smart Meter was removed all my symptoms went away. I also uninstalled the Village Smart Water Meter having same issue. I was diagnosed EHS (Electro hypersensitive) in 2019 by my Holistic Doctor, he shared that he has had (15) patients with the same experience once the Smart Meter was placed on their home. I also struggle severely with the newer Apple 4G/5G Cell Phones (10 - 17), within seconds of holding my phone I get agitation in my hands, anxiety feeling that lead to heart palpitations so strong. I now feel secondhand cell phones, can not go into large gatherings, Church auditorium, Theaters, Music venues, Airplanes, Airports, etc. And yes, the Apple safety guidance buried in the phone is true, use Hands Free & Speaker. I am now being challenged with our Community getting blanketed with 5G Antennas, placing them 10' feet from an apartment building on the west side with the safety sign being place on the top of the pole stating this antenna may exceed the FCC Safety Guidance and little stickers stating you need to be 10' away to be safe. Does it exceed, no one knows locally. I know it does because I feel the cell towers and small cell antennas, unfortunately I have a light pole on my property 30' from my bedroom window and our Village President shared the FCC can put up to (2) antennas per light pole. I will be forced to move at that point because I can not be in my home safely, outside in my gardens or safely walk around my neighborhood. This is a very concerning matter to be forced to leave your home after living there 40 years. And, where do I go to be safe?? That is unfortunately the reality, where do you go with having EHS to be free from all the wireless Radiation?? My Father's story: He was sickened for (2) years starting in 2016, having Heart Palpitations (AFIB), Gut issues, Dizzy episodes, Sleeping issues from Smart Meter installed on his bedroom wall, WiFi Router under his desk, WiFi Boosters installed where he sat in his kitchen dining table and family room chair. After my story, I was able to see why he was having all these mysterious symptoms, he was never getting a break from wireless radiation. He would go to rest in his bedroom after being dizzy at his dining table (WiFi Booster) to be hit again with the Smart Meter on his bedroom wall. Once all the wireless radiation items were removed his symptoms all went away but he had some continued energy issues and gut issues remain (Autoimmune disease). My Older Sister's Story: She was sickened in 2015 having mysterious symptoms for (3) years, Muscle ache, Extreme Anxiety, Gut issues, Energy issues from (4) ComEd Smart Meters outside her bedroom window living in a Condo, along with (57) WiFi from densely populated area. Once my story hit, I was able to see her issue. Once the Smart Meters were covered with Safety Guards her symptoms improved but she ended up moving to a more rural area, is doing better but still dealing with low energy and gut issues (Autoimmune Disease). My Son's Story: He was attending College at Northern Illinois University living in an Apartment building, University Plaza on campus, started having headaches after (3) months of living there, getting more severe. He mentioned to me one night on a phone call that they where installing more bars on the roof/Elevator Shaft. I asked him to immediately send me a photo, to find out they where installing Cell Tower Units, 60' feet from my son's bedroom window (Verizon & AT&T). I removed my son from that apartment building that evening and his headaches went away. I wrote a letter to the building management begging them to protect the students and remove the cell towers off the roof. Ballroom Dance Friend Story: My dance friend came up to me 2023 and shared she now understands why I sit in the back of the Ballroom away from other folks cell phones. She was diagnosed with stage (4) cancer tumor right under her Bra strap, carried her cell phone there frequently. Her doctor said she is seeing tumors at the bra strap and also at the waist line of workout pants where unfortunately woman are choosing to carry their cell phones. My friend passed away.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I'm responding from the perspective of a concerned citizen who has experienced firsthand the effects of cell tower radiation. In 2015 I worked for 6 weeks in a building with a cell tower on the back. I had worked there previously, and noticed nothing for the first 4 weeks. But then I began to notice strange things. My feet would tingle as soon as I entered the building. I experienced extreme muscle weakness in my eyes, and would have to close my eyes despite not actually being sleepy. On several such occasions I felt electric shocks pass through me (dirty electricity from the equipment?). On one occasion I had the bizarre sensation that my chair dropped away from under me, then came back up and slammed me in the butt! I developed a hand tremor I'd never had before. For several months afterward I'd get sudden tremors racking my body, out of nowhere. I had frequent dizzy spells, felt weak and was afraid to drive long trips for fear of blacking out in my car. My swallowing reflex was slow on one side and I was afraid of choking. I developed weakness in my hip muscles and lower back (worst when the barometric pressure was low), and would feel like I was going to collapse. I also developed restless leg syndrome which has not completely gone away. This was a day job and just for 6 weeks. What happens to people who live near a cell tower 24/7? (Truly horrific things from what I've read -- one woman suffered 51 strokes, and for others it's a-fib, heart palpitations, chest tightness or outright heart attacks, not to mention headaches, dizziness, nausea, sleep disturbance, nosebleeds, and cancer.) Smart meter radiation (same type of radiation) has been shown to rip and slash the red blood cells of anyone standing near one for just 2 minutes, whether the person felt anything (e.g. tingling) or not. I've opted out of a smart meter, but have had bad experiences in homes with smart meters -- violently increased heart rate, or sudden exhaustion and hunger ("hangry" doesn't begin to describe it). This radiation is a serious threat to the health of all of us, and must be addressed. The experiences of all who have been affected need to be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
