Reports tinnitus and disorientation attributed to wireless exposure, relief in remote areas, and concerns…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am exposed to 5G, WiFi, LAN, my neighbors in a rural area. I have a spinal pain stimulator and a DEXCOM7 medical device, internet printer, smart phones, tire pressure monitors, internet devices. Additional LEDs (which is been returned to tungsten and candle light, as the digitalization interfere Also) When I had lower dose exposure of 2.4 and 4G I had much less symptoms. Before, but extremely worse since 5G - has caused massive ringing in my ears. I have relocated myself into the country and woods, the symptoms go away while out in remote locations. These sounds are disorienting, aggravating, and get greatly worse within the city. Further, these things are dangerous. We have tore down the infrastructure of analog phones, robo calls, had become so annoying, most people took their phone out of their home. you cannot make a payphone call, because of contact lists, most people don't know basic phone numbers for help. Underground phone wires in sealed lines, allowed phone access to emergancy help-in hurricanes, tornados, minor floods, lighting, etc. In emergancy, specific locations in house and areas... with smart phones, people do not want to led help. There are no address books so you cannot find people. Less and less can you find places of business like hospitals, hardware stores, mechanics. Algorhythems of advertisers force out smaller businesses where are phone books allowed page size, font and bolding, but all paying for phone was listed. Not being able to contact businesses is just as unhealthy, externally as the radio frquenceies are internally. Addition RF signals and GPS, route you on interstates and bypass smaller business and routes

Requests an independent review of limits and realistic long-term exposure, citing research on cancer and …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects. I ask HHS to: •Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups. •Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest. •Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools. •Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

Objects to advertising for nonexpert public input and requests expert consultation.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Spending money on Facebook ads soliciting "public input" from non-experts is wasteful at best, and dangerous at worst. The fact that you're seemingly incapable of performing basic research yourself makes me deeply concerned about your methods and intentions. Please consult some experts on this topic.

Dear HSSD, I have been suffering from any WiFi related or smart objects for many yea rs ever since the WiFi technology started to come into homes. I first noticed pricly, itchy skin on my arms. (This is known symptoms of radio frequency radiation) When I switch my WiFi router off it stopped. I also started notice headache after talking on my mobile phone. It has been problematic for me for the last 15 years or so. There's no escape for me in this world. Bluetooth technology in particular affects me badly and I always ask my colleagues to switch it off on their mobiles. I do worry about the risk of brain tumour. I deeply deeply wish to live in the world where I can live safely without all these technologies.

A retired nurse raises possible links between device use, atrial fibrillation and cancers and asks HHS to…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Secretary Kennedy, I am a retired RN and I have been observing the serious increase in A-Fib or Atrial Fibrilation. Many men put their cell phones in their shirt or coat pocket near their heart. Our heart has an electric component to function in correct rhythm. There is also an increase in prostrate and uterine cancer caused possibly by laptop use. The other noticeable increase is brain cancer which many of us working in health care believe could be caused by cell phone use without a head set. I hope this is helpful information. Thank you for making America healthy again! Sincerely, Gayle Horton

Describes severe unexplained neurological and cardiac events affecting a young adult and a dog, asks abou…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
What about anomalous health incidents? Unexplained seizures, memory loss, loss of balance, and even cardiac arrest involving an otherwise healthy, unvaccinated 20year old female and her dog? How does something like this happen? Nearly two years of unimaginable suffering, with no answers, no diagnosis, and no medical professionals able to explain what happened or offer any meaningful help. Jesus Christ is God, and the devil is very real. I often wonder, during World War I and World War II, if soldiers had been told that while they were away fighting for their countries and our freedoms, their own families would be subjected to torture or even killed, would they have been so willing to leave? What kind of war is this? desperately seeking answers and help.

Reports cognitive impairment and marked sensitivity to wireless sources, compares symptoms with different…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Individual consumer / patient (age 59, Ashland City, Tennessee area) who has experienced symptoms associated with RF/EMF exposure from mobile phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters, and 5G. I am 59 years old. My cognitive decline began when I was 55. Prior to that I was sharp, owned and ran a complex and successful business on Maui, and had no difficulty learning or retaining information. Since onset I have experienced extreme brain fog, a severely compromised ability to perform basic problem-solving, and an extremely limited short-term memory that has made me virtually unemployable—I can no longer learn and retain new things. I have had an MRI and cognitive performance testing; the results indicated early-onset Alzheimer’s. These symptoms have improved dramatically in the last two years only after intensive healing protocols. This was not the case prior to roughly 2021. I have always been highly sensitive to EMF frequencies and Wi-Fi, and I am especially sensitive to 5G. Enabling 5G on my phones quickly makes me feel sick, and I can notice when I am near a 5G tower. For this reason I always disable 5G. I used an iPhone 7 for many years and upgraded to an iPhone SE (3rd generation) in 2024. With both of these phones I could feel the radiation. The longer I held either device, the more severe the sensation became. Both caused strong aching in my hand and arm; after prolonged use this often progressed to tingling and/or numbness. The symptoms were noticeable during ordinary use and worsened with longer holding times. In 2026 I upgraded to an iPhone Air. I have noticed a significant improvement: much less of the radiation sensation and substantially reduced hand and arm pain when holding the phone. I still notice some effect, but it is markedly milder than with the older models. I never hold any phone to my ear and always use speakerphone. Published SAR values (U.S. FCC, averaged over 1 gram of tissue, cellular transmission) for these models are approximately: iPhone 7: Head ~1.11–1.19 W/kg, Body ~1.14–1.19 W/kg (varies by specific model) iPhone SE (3rd generation): Head 1.20 W/kg, Body 1.20 W/kg iPhone Air: Head 1.19 W/kg, Body 1.19 W/kg (cellular-only) Despite the similar official peak SAR numbers, my real-world experience of reduced sensation and pain with the Air has been consistent. This suggests that other design factors (antenna placement, power management, or everyday transmission behavior) may matter for sensitive individuals. My wife and I both use our phones many hours a day; her job requires extensive phone use. To reduce overnight exposure I keep my phone at least two to three feet from my body while sleeping and sometimes place it in Airplane mode. We live in an apartment building. Our Wi-Fi router is located in the closet in my wife’s bedroom because that is the only place the cable enters the unit. She rarely can sleep past about 2 a.m. She then remains awake—though exhausted—from roughly 2 a.m. until 5 or 6 a.m., after which she falls back asleep until her alarm only out of pure exhaustion. The amount of make-up sleep is woefully insufficient. This chronic sleep disruption has been extremely hard on her overall health and has resulted in permanent bags under her eyes. I am concerned that prolonged close proximity to the router may be contributing. I am also very affected by smart meters. A bank of approximately a dozen smart meters (one for each apartment) is mounted on the exterior wall immediately outside my bedroom. The only mitigating factor is a walk-in closet between my bedroom and that exterior wall; the added distance makes the exposure more tolerable, but it remains noticeable. Combined with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G, and other sources, these create a continuous “soup” of RF/EMF exposure that warrants further study. I lived on Maui, Hawaii, through early 2020. Maui was one of the last counties in the U.S. to receive a commercial 5G upgrade, and 5G was not present there during the time I lived on the island. After relocating, my cognitive problems began around 2021–2022. Given my extreme sensitivity to EMF/RF, the timing of these symptoms relative to increased exposure after the move is concerning to me, even though I cannot prove a direct causal link. I am grateful that Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and HHS have opened this Request for Information to examine potential health effects of EMF and RF frequencies, including real-world experiences of sensitive individuals and cumulative exposures. Further research into device design differences, smart meters, residential Wi-Fi, and vulnerable populations is needed.
