I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding as a concerned parent, researcher, and member of the public. I personally have not noticed any effects from wireless radiation in its various forms, such as cell phones, Wi-Fi routers, 4G, and 5G. However, I have researched this topic and understand that the energies involved can impact not only human health but also the health of plants, animals, and insects. As a precaution, I have limited my use of these technologies. I find it surprising that these technologies were initially tested solely for their ability to heat human tissue. Is that true science, or just a means to advance harmful technology for the profit of large corporations at the expense of the public? Those who rushed this technology into production decades ago seemed to care little for the well-being of the people who would live and work near these radiation emitters. I have read numerous accounts of individuals who struggled with unexplained medical symptoms, only to discover that moving away from a cell phone tower or turning off wireless networks in their homes resolved all their issues. Additionally, there are firefighters who have sued due to health problems linked to these emitters at their fire stations. While this technology cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted, it can cause significant health problems. The power of these emitters has increased dramatically compared to when this technology was initially tested about 30 years ago. Can you imagine not testing products that emit large amounts of energy when held next to one’s head or against one’s body 24/7? We must bring this issue to light and conduct thorough testing on the effects of these technologies. Isn't this what the HHS is for? To study these subjects to protect the people? Isn't that what they are employed to do? I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I expect HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
My wife and I purchased our home last year, only to discover that a large cellular tower is located directly at the corner of our backyard, towering over our home and standing less than 30 yards from our back door. Power lines also extend over our driveway, raising additional concerns about the proximity of electrical infrastructure to our living space. My wife and our two-year-old daughter spend a significant amount of time at home, as we have chosen not to use daycare. As a husband and father, I believe it is my responsibility to ensure that our home is a safe environment for my family. Since moving in, my family has experienced recurring health concerns, including multiple episodes of fever and coughing for which medical testing has not provided clear explanations. My wife has also experienced low energy and difficulty keeping up with normal daily activities. I recognize that these symptoms can have many causes, and I am not claiming that the nearby tower has been proven responsible. However, given its extremely close proximity to our home, I believe it is reasonable to ask whether our environment has been adequately evaluated. We have taken the initiative to have our home tested for mold, electromagnetic fields (EMF), and radiofrequency (RF) exposure. While EMF readings were relatively low in most areas, they increased in our bonus room near the driveway side of the house. The RF results showed yellow-to-red readings throughout much of our home. I understand that these colors may represent the testing equipment's measurement ranges rather than established health-risk categories. Nevertheless, these results have raised serious questions about our actual exposure levels and how they compare with applicable safety standards. I respectfully request that the appropriate agencies conduct or facilitate an independent assessment of this tower and its proximity to nearby homes. Specifically, I ask that officials: Arrange professional EMF/RF testing at our property and other nearby residences, including bedrooms, living spaces, and outdoor areas, with documented measurements and comparisons to applicable exposure limits. Review current federal and state safety standards and explain how compliance is determined for towers located exceptionally close to occupied homes. Evaluate whether the tower's placement, less than 30 yards from our home, warrants additional assessment, safeguards, or corrective action. Consult qualified public health and environmental professionals to review residents' concerns, explain the available scientific evidence, and identify whether further investigation or monitoring is warranted. Consider evidence-based minimum setback requirements between cellular towers and occupied residences, schools, childcare facilities, and other locations where people spend extended periods. Make testing results, compliance records, and recommended actions available to the public, with a clear process for follow-up testing and remediation if concerns are identified. My concern is not simply that a tower is visible from our backyard. It is that significant telecommunications infrastructure is positioned extremely close to our home, and we lack the information necessary to feel confident that the potential exposure has been independently evaluated and that the placement is appropriate for a residential setting. This situation has also created financial and emotional stress for our family. We purchased our home expecting a safe environment in which to raise our daughter. Since then, we have invested time, money, and energy into environmental testing and trying to understand whether the conditions surrounding our property could be relevant to our family's health concerns. I appreciate the due diligence currently taking place and the opportunity to share these concerns through this survey. However, I sincerely hope this process does not end with collecting public feedback. Families deserve clear answers, independent assessments, and meaningful action if problems are identified. As a husband and father, my greatest concern is the health, safety, and future of my family. I hope our experience contributes to a broader discussion about responsible tower placement, residential safety, public accountability, and whether current policies adequately protect communities living exceptionally close to cellular infrastructure. Thank you for your time and consideration. I pray these concerns will not be swept under the rug once the survey concludes, but will lead to a thorough investigation, transparent findings, and meaningful action where warranted. Sincerely, A Concerned Citizen Heath Grishaw United States

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a [patient, parent, family member, caregiver, healthcare professional, researcher, advocate, concerned member of the public, or other]. Wireless radiation is unexcapable which is troublesome becuase we cannot protect ourselves. My son just started college and he sleeps in a bunk directly under a wifi router. This cannot be good for his health, especially since he is on a laptop, phone, etc, all day and in buildings with contnuous wifi. There has to be a period of time where he is allowed to be in an EMF free zone for at least when he is sleeping. Why are we not concerned about the health and well being of the citizens of our country? Why are our wireless radiation limits so much higher than the rest of the world? Please do your job and establish healhy regs around this topic. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of someone who has experienced the negative impact of wireless radiation in my life and in the lives of my friends. I used to live in Scottsdale AZ in a beautiful apartment on the 6th floor. I was affected by at least a dozen different wireless systems running simultaneously and after a year I began to feel shaky, tense and frail. After 2 years I left for a home with only 1 or 2 other faint wifi systems and I trun off the wifi at night. Almost immediately my health returned. Two other friends have had similar experiences.

I am submitting this comment as a licensed Professional Engineer (environmental engineering master’s degree), U.S. Navy veteran, and concerned citizen. Current federal exposure guidelines for RF/EMF from wireless devices, Wi-Fi, and 5G infrastructure are outdated, based primarily on thermal effects, and fail to adequately protect public health—especially children, pregnant women, and those with electromagnetic hypersensitivity. Independent research, including the National Toxicology Program animal studies and multiple peer-reviewed papers, has shown clear evidence of biological effects at levels well below current FCC limits, including increased cancer risk, oxidative stress, DNA damage, and reproductive harm. These findings have been dismissed or minimized while industry-funded studies and captured agencies continue to claim “no proven harm.” This pattern mirrors other failures of public health agencies that prioritize corporate interests over independent science. I urge HHS to: Commission and fund truly independent research that examines non-thermal effects, cumulative exposure, and real-world chronic low-level RF from 5G small cells and densified networks. Update safety standards to account for biological effects, not merely heating of tissue. Require transparent disclosure of conflicts of interest in all studies relied upon by the agency. Support a precautionary approach: pause further dense 5G deployments near homes, schools, and hospitals until safety is demonstrated, and prioritize wired alternatives where feasible. Investigate and publicly report on the health impacts of the existing nationwide 5G infrastructure that has been rolled out with insufficient long-term data. The public has a right to accurate information and protection from involuntary exposure. Continuing to rely on 1990s-era thermal-only limits while saturating the environment with pulsed RF is not acceptable. I call on HHS to put human health ahead of industry expansion. First, thank you HHS for the incredible transformation of the agency under the current leadership of Secretary Kennedy. It is with great pleasure that I track the enormous multitude of positive outcomes from regenerative farming, to mrna research to remedies for vaccine injury. In a world of increasing corruption, HHS is setting its sails in the right direction - that of true concern for public health. Thank you! I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. There is mounting evidence that exposure to these technologies affect US population negatively. If DARPA and the DOW can develop and deploy technology that uses electromagnetic pulse technology to harm or disable populations, the government MUST pay close attention to the consequences of a multitude of new electronic technologies and their effects, even if the negative effects are unintentional. I am Ally Whitney, Esq. and responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. As a well informed citizen, and attorney, I support people affected by wireless radiation and believe HHS should address this issue. I support HHS taking a very active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation and suggest a robust Office of Electronic Technology be opened to study these health outcomes. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. I also urge HHS with current evidence to ensure that there are appropriate policy recommendation that enable safe living and work environment for not only our human population but our natural resources as well. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard, and the support for their health that they truly deserve.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent. I do not know the extent to which wireless radiation has affected myself and my family, and this greatly concerns me. Everywhere we go, there are cell towers. Towers on top of towers. My head aches when I drive through certain areas. My children complain of sharp headaches often in the same areas. There is a cell tower near enough to our home that my concern is growing. Some days I feel like they must be blasting the signal more because I experience unexplained brain fog, heart palpitations, wheeziness, and more headaches. Other days, multiple children will have headaches or nausea at the same time, which resolves when we leave our home. The more I observe this, the more I question the cell tower at the end of our neighborhood. I definitely can feel the effect of radiation after using devices during the day. Though I do try to mitigate, there is no clear guidance of what is safe. 4g, 5g, 6g - none of this is explained to the public, it is just forced on us. The need to use wireless devices to communicate is undeniable, but I want to clearly know how it is affecting our health.

I have constant ringing in the ears. Very low energy. Sleeplessness. I’ve noticed people in general are much more stressed and angry. In North Augusta South Carolina we have a huge number of these towers. The town looks like a military installation. Research must be done by you and not the corporations that own them!
