Reports reproducible headaches near a mobile hotspot, improvement with distance or switching it off, and …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Hello, Please look into mobile hotspots and headaches. I work remotely and when I do so from a car, coffee shop, airport or where have you with my hot spot on I get a headache within 1 minute. When I work without Hotspot, no headache. Its repeatable and consistent for the past 5 years. I do notice however when I place the mobile Hotspot more than 6 feet from me the headaches are gone or much more subtle. When the Hotspot is turned off, my headache resolves within minutes. Perhaps its rare or some people are more sensitive than others, but this is a real issue for me and makes me concerned what the health effects are. I dont suffer from headaches otherwise and am in great health. I've taken into consideration confounders like posture, stress, poor sleep, long sessions but the issue remains. I've even had my friend "blind test" me by turning a hotspot on and off near me without telling me and I was able to tell every time. Thanks!

A veteran describes sensitivity and disabling migraines following a blast injury, reports difficulty obta…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am an army veteran. While I was standing in front of a row of radios fixing them in the battalion TOC, a rocket hit in the parking lot out front. I was standing on the elevated part of the room where radio operators sit but I was standing. People below me were all sitting. Because I was standing I was above the sand bags that were in the windows. When the blast came through while it did not knock me out I felt the force of it go through me. But as no one else seemed affected I assumed I was fine other than having a headache for which I went to the medic and got medicine for. How this is related to frequencies is that I have over the years since this event became very sensitive to frequencies. To the extent where I am now disabled. The VA does not recognize this as the cause but as they will not hear me over the past 20 years I have had to learn ways to deal with the symptoms. My spouse and I have tracked what makes the symptoms worse. Frequencies seem to really set it off. When this happens it causes migraines, dizziness, nausea sometimes vomiting and acute sensitivity to everything. Saw noises set it off. When it’s a cloudy day high pressure that sets it off. Going to stores or indoor places of any kind that has a lot of floresent or led lights sets it off. I have had to avoid these places that includes church because of it. My hope is that by this inquiry these concerns will be looked into. I’d be glad to help.

Reports military-associated migraines and vertigo, raises concerns about avionics and childhood exposure,…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because: While in the military I developed migraines and vertigo that were triggered by high EMF environments. Moreover, It is well know that HF radios in fighter jets cause cancer. Please reference any fighter jet systems manual. We use to call the cone of the antenna in front of the jet the cone of cancer. There are notes, warnings and cautions pertaining to this danger. While there are different frequency ranges to the many avionics in a fighter jet some of these frequency bands reserved for the military have been released for use by the tech industry within the civilian population(Why?). There is a clear safety issue with this current technology please also reference the military studies done on radar operators in the 60's and 70's showing health concerns. It's time to FOIA all government organizations to include the military for all experiments regarding technology using any type of frequency based power. Non ionizing radiation should be looked at differently than ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation is more apt to cause damage via thermal heating. Non ionizing radiation is more likely to affect the calcium channels of the body therefore showing damage later in a persons life that is not expressed by thermal damage. Because of this it also tends to affect people in different ways depending on their individual exposures and body type. We know that different types of frequency's can affect a person with more fat differently than someone with less fat. We know a millimeter wave cannot penetrate the body as deep as a longer wave frequency. Therefore more fat could potentially equal more protection against a millimeter wave reaching an organ. This is especially important with children as most do not have the body fat of an adult allowing the millimeter wave to penetrate deeper into their developing bodies. Currently the FCC only looks at ionizing radiation effects, this is pure negligence on the FCC's side as it is common knowledge among anyone that works with avionics that there are other dangers to frequency then just ionizing radiation as I explained above. This issue is going to have the most damaging effects on our children. It's time to start caring about our future generations and immediately stop any further roll out of cell towers and wireless technologies, remove all antennas from schools, remove wifi from schools and cease the use of 3g/4g/5g towers within our cities until the FCC does its job and does a complete overhaul of its safety standards to reflect measuring all the dangers that can result from this use of technology. The FCC must also ensure the Tech companies are held to the strictest 3rd party study's to ensure what they are proposing is safe. Then the FCC must remove all employees with conflicts of interest ensuring no industry employees are allowed to ever work for the FCC or vice versa. Or at least have a 5 year no compete agreement in their contracts. The FCC should also be required to work with HSS. The HSS should study the health effects and then the FCC must be required to update its standards to ensure the dangers Identified by HSS are addressed in their safety standards. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.

Reports symptoms improving with wired home connections, raises concerns about workplace cancers, criticiz…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
My comments are on an individual basis. I am a retired civil engineer and occupational and design safety advisor based in South Wales, UK. Question 3: I often feel slightly dizzy when in built-up areas. I also used to regularly feel both dizzy and slightly nauseous whilst at home. However, after I disabled Wi-fi at home – replaced with wired connections - and, more recently, changed my DECT telephone for a wired landline, my symptoms went. They did, however, return on one occasion but on investigation, I discovered that our DECT telephone had inadvertently been switched back on; after disabling it, my symptoms went again. Approximately 15 years ago, I raised health concerns regarding possible adverse health effects due to long-term exposure to EMF radiation when the office I worked in was fitted with multiple Wi-fi boasters. The advice I was given at that time was that it was safe. However, this reassurance did not quieten my concerns and I began to work from home more often in order to reduce my exposure. It is noted, with extreme concern, that in the last two years, an unusually high number of staff within the same office - all reasonable young and reasonable fit - have suffered from various cancers. Question 5: It is understood that the USA/FCC wireless radiation limit is some 25 times greater than that adopted in China and a hundred times greater than that adopted in Russia. In order to hopefully partly address this significant discrepancy, it is noted that a lawsuit was filed against the Federal Republic of Germany, as recent as 29 September 2026, demanding that the limits for mobile phone radiation, which have remained unchanged since their introduction in 1996, be reassessed and significantly tightened. Question 6: Over the last eight years, I have sent overwhelming evidence of harm from numerous peer-reviewed studies to numerous parties – including my local Council and planning authority, Members of the Senedd (Welsh Parliament), Ministers in the Welsh Government, Public Health Wales, UK Members of Parliament, the UK Health Security Agency, the media, and many others. But all of my concerns and evidence of harm have either been ignored or a stock response provided - ‘that there is no convincing evidence that RF field exposure below guideline levels causes health effects in adults or children’. And this is despite c. 90% of peer-reviewed studies over the last 30-years finding ‘significant adverse effects’ [Electromagnetic Radiation Safety: Effects of Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields: Thirty years of research]. And despite the fact that the ICNIRP, WHO, SCENIHR and SSM have been criticised for dismissing studies that show evidence of harm [Buchner K, Rivasi M: The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection: Conflicts of interest, corporate capture and the push for 5G, 2020]. And even despite the fact that the latest WHO systematic review on animal carcinogenicity concluded that ‘there is high certainty of the evidence linking cell phone radiofrequency (RF) radiation to two types of cancer in animals; and that both these tumour types had previously been found in studies on humans.’ No doubt you will already be fully aware of all of the more recent peer-reviewed studies, but I would like to record two of note. An American study, 12 March 2026, that found that ‘One in 8 U.S. adults reported adverse health effects from exposure to wireless radiation’ [1 in 8 U.S. Adults Say Wireless Radiation Is Causing Health Issues — What Does That Mean for Kids’ Health? • Children's Health Defense]. And an Australian study, 17th March 2026, that found that ‘overall, 18.9% of Australians reported having wireless sensitivity, diagnosed EHS, or both conditions' .[final_wireless_sensitivity_prevalence_media_release_17_mar_26.pdf]. Question 8: Until how implant and other proximity-related risks are to be assessed consistently in spatial terms is resolved, placing sole reliance on a Certificate of Conformity is not a sufficiently robust basis for identifying and assessing proximity-related risks as part of an Authority’s obligations to reconcile public health and environmental implications. Thank you

Reports headaches and worsening sleep, notes nearby 5G antennas and school Wi-Fi exposure, and explicitly…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
For the past few years, I have been regularly suffering from headaches that are sometimes quite disabling. I don't sleep well either. Since this year 2026, I have noticed a drop in the quality of my sleep and I also notice that people living in the same town as me (with several 5G antennas in a bird's-eye radius of less than a km) suffer from insomnia and often all wake up at the same time (3 a.m.). I don't know if it's due to the waves but I don't find my symptoms normal. I would like to point out here that I work in a school where the connections are multiple and on all the time (Wifi in addition to the wired system + students' mobile phones).

Describes reducing family wireless use and selecting a school away from a tower, expresses cancer and env…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public and mother. These frequencies interfere with molecular biology and are not resonate to our bodies. It impedes the proper functioning of our bodies and disrupts our wellbeing. I consider it to be an environmental toxin, personally. I first learned about the dangers of EMF exposure when listening to a Health Summit on the matter in 2018. I learned that baby monitors were a very high emitter and immediately stopped using ours to monitor our developing infant. My husband and I also took measures to connect our electronics to the internet with cables rather than use WiFi, including our phones. We also stopped using any Bluetooth devices. Sadly, there are spaces that I cannot protect my family from, such as my son's school. We were able to at least put him in a school that was not right next to a 5G tower, something that happened about half a mile from our house. We opted for a school that was a 15 minute drive from our house rather than expose him to 5G radiation while at school. If this isn't a crime against humanity, I do not know what is. My husband and I are exposed at work and anywhere else we go in town, really. With all the 5G mini towers on tops of buildings throughout town, we feel safest at home and when we're deep out in nature. I recently heard that nature has tech in certain areas so I will be sure to bring my EMF reader to check out my favorite nature areas. We all have the right to know what we are being exposed to, ideally the right to choose not to be exposed in the first place. It would be ideal if our government wanted protections in place for everyone's well being. If only well being was put before money and "convenience". It isn't very convenient to have leukemia or whatever other cancers they're linking to high EMF exposure. Our nervous systems are deeply affected. We all need to take a hard look at the reality of things instead of sticking our heads in the sand. This is not hard to understand. It's only hard to understand if people are concerned about money; the government can print more if they want to anyway. Stop worrying about money and care about the well being of others. Am I altruistic? Yes. Do I know that we are capable of being better to each other and the planet? Yes. We are totally capable. I pray that decisions are made that will make our world a better place to live in. For our health, for our planet, for the animals... Please make healthy decisions when it comes to this matter. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Reports diagnosed EHS, multiple symptoms and loss of career, housing and social opportunities after workp…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am writing as a person who is adversely affected to the point of being disabled by radio-frequency (RF) radiation. I am a 54-year-old woman from the UK. I was diagnosed with electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) in 2009 after suffering unexplained and debilitating symptoms over several years. My symptoms suddenly became extremely severe when Wi-Fi was installed in my university workplace in 2008. (I discovered that Wi-Fi was present only after the onset of far worse symptoms, and it transpired that I had been working immediately above Wi-Fi routers recently fixed to the ceiling of the room below me; thus, an informal and unintended ‘blind’ test took place.) My symptoms include: headaches and head pressure, facial burning and redness, chest pains and chest oppression, palpitations, feelings of ‘fight-or-flight’, digestive problems, stomach pains, nausea, vertigo, ear pain and ringing ears, urinary urgency, problems concentrating and focusing, memory loss, aphasia, exhaustion, insomnia. My symptoms fluctuate in severity depending on the duration and intensity of exposure. They resolve in an area with little or no RF pollution. I feel, however, that my cognition has been irreparably damaged to some degree. I am debilitated and disabled by all sources of wireless radiation: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DECT cordless phones, smart meters and ‘smart’ devices, cellphones and cell towers, etc. I have paid a very high personal price because of my EHS and have lost my career as a university lecturer, my home, my ability to earn a living, the chance of a family, my social life – not to mention my basic human rights. Unless things change, the future looks very bleak indeed for me and for others who are similarly affected. Given the lack of recognition of EHS and its cause, I currently have no access to redress for the harm and loss inflicted on me by the proliferation and ubiquity of wireless technologies and the concomitant RF radiation. I welcome the Department of Health and Human Service’s call for evidence about health harms from RF radiation because recognition of these harms is well overdue. Rather than provide you with a long list of studies on EHS, I here refer to four that I find instructive: Belpomme D, Irigaray P. ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
My employer has recently installed BioUp LED bulbs. These are AI controlled to adjust the blue light frequency. As a 3rd shift worker that struggles with ideopathic hypersomnia, this has had a profound negative effect on me. It manipulates the circadian rhythm, alters hormones, disrupts meletonin production. After being in the lights for an hour and a half, i have severe cramps, followed by 3 weeks of light bleeding.my body aches like i have the flu constantly. I work in the dark whenever im able to, and turn off lights wherever I can. It helps a little. They are motion sensored, so its impossible to keep them off completely. Automated buildings are killing people slowly. My teenager is also having similar issues from school. And her mood is irritable, angry, all the time. Its not at all normal for her. Shes missing a day or 2 a week from it. Its well known what damages LEDs ,specifically the blue light frequency, does to our body systems. Infertility, low sperm viability, cancer, retinal damage, ect, ect. These are harmful, not just blinding us while driving. They are dangerous, and MUST be removed from infrastructure ,homes, SCHOOLS.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have been getting headaches from long hours on computers and laptops for 30 years. In the last 10 years my vision started to get worse, and now I have extreme light sensitvity, and my vision becomes blurred if I'm working on documents for more than a couple of hours. When I don't use the computer my vision improves, and if I have to do a lot of work on a computer my sight gets almost greyed out, I see patterns and spots, and sometimes white spots when I close my eyes.
