Reports inability to drive after sunset because of bright, blue-white and poorly aimed vehicle lighting, …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
This comment is about the blue wavelength visible light spectrum of LED lights emitted by most vehicles on American roadways today. The blue-white light is way, way too bright, too harsh, and too blue for our roads. Not only are the lights too blue and too bright, but they also point too high. We now have lifted pickup trucks, long-haul semis, and jeeps that are blasting this sharp blue-white light directly into the mirrors of sedans. Lower-to-the-ground vehicles, such as Teslas, Audis, and BMWs have their lights pointed too high as well. When this is combined with the intensity, color, and sharpness of the light, it makes driving on the road at night unmanageable. I am one of over 80,000 victims who have submitted a petition to change our laws surrounding blue-white LED lights on our roadways. There are many, many more who are victims as well. The rise of use of these lights has changed my life, keeping me from using the roads after sunset. I would like to use America's roads at night once again. Thank you for your time. JonPaul

Objects to bright blue-rich indoor and vehicle LED lighting, reports sleep disruption and requests nation…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
LED lights used for interior and exterior lighting in homes and stores are too bright and too blue. This intense light is unpleasant and additionally disrupts sleep. LED lights in vehicle headlights, blinker lights, reverse lights, fog lights and brake lights are too bright and too blue. We should have national standards like those advocated by the DarkSky organzation that keeps light intensity low and prevents light pollution and keeps light a nice warm color temperature. Thanks you. Chris Tucker, 5611 17th Ave NW D6, Seattle, WA.

The commenter reports device-related skin irritation, ringing ears, and brain fog, questions LED effects …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have burn marks where devices are constantly irritating skin I have intense ringing in my ears. Brain fog Pixilization of LED can still be seen by eyes, verses tungston or cfl light interrupts neurons- need options to buy other types of lights- this was a failed experiment and can cause seizures, HA, sleep deprovation, and more The constant interruptions (ave 1 : 47 sec) is disrupting focus - prevent critical thinking and decreases learning. There is so much more I have noticed, I have placed a LAN in the house but need more wiring, which is hard to install, along with No universal standard, plugs keep changing for changing. Cost for charging divices break and you get burns

The commenter reports migraines and anxiety-like sensations around LEDs, Bluetooth devices, vehicles and …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I get migraines when LED lights are too bright, when using AirPods or other Bluetooth devices, or even in cars that have too many electric components. This only began 3-4 years ago and I was never sensitive prior to this. I feel that the EMF and RF exposure had increased as I truly feel a wave of energy come over my body and the feeling triggers an anxiety like feeling that ceases immediately once I exit the room or shut off the device. I think we are being exposed to too many waves that are affecting health. This also happens with 5G and even when I’m in a room directly below solar panels. I know I’m not the only one who feels like this as most migraine sufferers are sensitive to LEDs and some Bluetooth. I ask that you please force vehicle manufacturers to reduce RF and EMF in cars, and bring back incandescent light bulbs! Im in NY and they’re extremely rare to find, so please make them more widespread. Please also make all the different hardware needed for incandescents jut as available as the LED light hardware. I’m happy with the current HHS and delighted to see new restrictions. I don’t like government regulation but please heavily restrict high wifi, RF and EMF technology. It’s affecting the lives of thousands (remember when Bluetooth ear pieces were said to cause cancer?).

Hi, I have to admit that I do not know what exactly I should be writing here. Never submitted any sort of public comments before. So I will just keep it short and ask to please look into this matter and consider changes to the LED light intensity and blue wavelength. I’ve personally experienced on a nightly basis eyesight issues and pain caused by these lights. Both factory equipped and aftermarket. It’s making it so that driving at night is not enjoyable and almost dangerous. What little issues and pain it causes me, makes me wonder how it is affecting other people who have worse sensitivity. Thank you for taking the time to read this and greatly appreciate any consideration you give my comments.

The commenter reports family sleep improvements with Wi-Fi off, raises concerns about children, LED light…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from my perspective as a mother grandmother and a person that works with children. PERSONALIZE YOUR COMMENT HERE: if using your phone while on WiFi gives you numb or even tingly or warm feeling on your hands and fingers there is definitely some effect from the radiation coming from your phone. As a whole my family sleeps better when we turn off the WiFi. I work with children, these children carry iPads throughout the day. The building has to have WiFi signal all throughout to be able to use the WiFi , computers and anything else that makes the devices work. Plus we have WiFi towers near our building and in the surrounding neighborhoods. I’d say there’s about 4 towers within a small radius. Children are confined indoors with all that radiation and act very out of control. Almost like something does not allow anyone in the building to focus and makes people anxious. That coupled with chem trails when you exit the building, where you can’t get a break. Constantly being zapped like a bug inside a building and sprayed like a bug while you’re outside. I personally have moments where I feel like I’m out of it or spaced out unable to focus while outdoors. And inside a building where there is tons of LED lights and WiFi makes vision blurry and at times hard to focus on screens. Plus WiFi to top that off, I think it’s a recipe to make anyone feel loopy. Buildings occupied by children or even adults should be monitored and checked for EMF signal toxification, excessive LED lights that affect your sight and possibly cause anxiety. Anyone messing with Gods creation should be healed accountable. It should be criminal to spray our skies, expose us to so much EMF or radiation, and all these LED lights. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

The commenter proposes cholesterol-mediated cellular adaptation to RF and methods for studying it, descri…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
This FIRST PART of my submission contributes to the HHS document, "Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure: portion stating "identify research gaps and priority areas for future study," I have identified a mechanism of adaptation to RF exposure in living organisms which are genetically capable of making cholesterol inside their bodies (mammals, birds, and?) that I would describe as a "priority area for future study": HYPOTHESIS: Our bodies deposit extra cholesterol into our cell membranes to make them stiffer and more resistant to RF penetration. This works until cell membrane permeability is sufficiently impeded that nutrients cannot get into cells and wastes cannot get out of cells. At that point, the organism, i.e. person, "gets sick" with miserable symptoms, causes of which show on no medical diagnostic test. The syndrome is then pronounced "psychosomatic", psychoactive drugs are prescribed that only make the situation worse, the victim is abandoned, until death. METHODS: One way "science" could investigate this would be to biopsy skin of people with differing cumulative and ongoing RF exposures to compare differences in cellular cholesterol content between those with lowest exposure to those with highest exposures. The biggest problem I see with this, is finding people like me with low cumulative exposures. TREATMENT: As for reduction in cell membrane cholesterol content over time, the frequency 2770 Hz (using a positive offset square wave) appears to dissolve cholesterol. Soy bean lecithin in soy bean oil also dissolves cholesterol well; sunflower lecithin in sunflower oil seems to have a lesser effect. Dissolution OF cholesterol must be performed slowly because pathogens and toxins are likely to contaminate the cholesterol. Of course, if RF exposure remains high, the body will redeposit cholesterol into cell membranes as continuing defense. Duh. Of course, even if "science" would confirm this hypothesis, Big Telecom and the military would either ignore it, censor it, debunk it by pretending to duplicate it to deliberately fail from bad study design, or by discarding relevant data. LIMITATIONS: I do not think this phenomenon protects from electrical fields of sufficient intensity that overpower the electrical signals normally operative within a functioning organism. I do not think it protects from magnetic fields generated by flowing electrical current, particularly since our blood and tissues are filled with magnetizable iron and various paramagnetic minerals. It probably protects slightly from ionizing radiation, although retention of environmental lead surely protects more, until other well established systemic deleterious effects of lead neutralize the radioprotective effect. I developed this simple hypothesis using energy testing, largely rejected by modern "science", using a resonance testing method that previously eliminated all my allergies except one. It allows me to remove pathogens and toxic molecules, enabling me to do self care to the extent that I have rejected Medicare part B and D. Unfortunately, our modern system of progressing from ignorance to hypothesis to acceptance, demands many expensive double blind, case controlled studies of large groups of possibly affected individuals. Regrettably, this type of research is the only thing that might power change. Even then, human nature, especially of those with power, resists change, and at least one generation must pass before new ideas are possibly accepted. I believe the USA and other first world countries do not have that much time. As to "identify research gaps": RF effects on voltage gated calcium channels have already been researched by the work of Martin L. Pall, Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry at Washington State University and his predecessors. It is my understanding that this is considered "controversial". What else is new? Whether further research would change this is debatable. The entire wireless industry will continue to be responsible for publishing fake research debunking anything that shows RF and other electromagnetic fields to be anything other than perfectly safe. I have encountered two instances where removing LED lighting alleviated an individual's Parkinson's symptoms. This should be investigated. The SECOND PART of my submission, PERSONAL EFFECTS, is attached because this space is too small.

The world we live in, from electrical frequencies within the body to the Schumann Resonance of the planet itself, works on frequencies. While many frequencies could be labeled as beneficial, there are MANY that are not. The types of radiation that eminate from dirty electricity, WiFi, Bluetooth, "smart" meters, LED lights, Cell phones/towers, some musical frequencies, and many many from military devices are extremely harmful to human health. Please do the righ tthing for once and force any company to comply with third-party studies into the harmful effects of the frequencies they are putting out and make data reporting MANDATORY!

The commenter reports disabling glare and discomfort from LED headlights while walking and driving and re…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I strongly urge the regulatory body that has the authority to pass laws or regulations to consider and pass action on this topic. Lately driving has been an eyesore both day and night. Even just walking along the side of the road, LED headlights are so powerful I have to avert my gaze whenever one passes or shield my eyes. When driving at night, I loath the moment I see LED headlights come around the corner. I am filled with agitation when LED high beams turn into equally blinding LED lowbeams which still hurt my eyes. When driving, I am at times faced with the option to either look away from the road so that the beams of light don't burn into my eyes blinding me further or squinting, eyes barely open, trying to focus on any visible object to orientation myself. If anyone opposes this bill and owns LED headlights. I urge you to go outside at night, turn on your headlights and sit yourself down in front of them and stare into them.
