Electromagnetic sensitivity

I am a single mother of six and Mental Health Therapist in Utah. I started becoming aware that I was being targeted with energy or microwave weapons in 2022. Before that I believe I was already suffering from prolonged intense radiation from Cell Tower, phone lines and others. I believe my symptoms match EHS or Electronic Hypersentivity Syndrome. All my hair fell out in 2014 suddenly and I developed Hashimoto's and potentially other health conditions. I am still being targeted severely. I also am a therapist for other Targeted people and I have heard repeated and overlapping stories that confirm this is a system attack on innocent Americans. Even President Bill Clinton divulged in 1995 that “We found that government officials and physicians who had the trust of the public and of their patients abused that trust. Patients were used as subjects of experiments without their knowledge or consent. Information was withheld from affected communities and from the public.”

I am extremely concerned about EMF RF and wireless radiation exposure. Due to my EHS medical diagnosis, the "Smart" meters have been removed from my home and replaced with "opt out" meters. I requested this measure be taken because a no/low EMF environment is essential for my health. I have a medical statement, and this condition (EHS) is a federally recognized disability. Because of this necessary action taken to preserve my health, I have incurred a $100 installation fee and continue to pay a $30 monthly charge. Additionally, "opt out" meters such as mine increase my energy bills because they are powered by electricity, unlike the analog meter (which uses no electricity to monitor usage). I strongly oppose being required to pay the recurring monthly opt out fee of $30. This amounts to financial discrimination against me because of my medical condition/disability. Furthermore, we as Ohioans are being unfairly treated when compared to those in states such as Indiana and North Carolina where customers can avoid an opt out fee if they call in their monthly readings (IN) or have a medical statement (NC). I have written to numerous legislators requesting the elimination of the monthly opt out fee in order to foster financially equitable treatment of all Duke Energy customers. I encouraged them to work to follow the precedent set by other states and allow Ohioans the same waiver as those in states such as Indiana and North Carolina. Those suffering from Electrohypersensitivity (EHS) receive no accommodations though it is very disabling. Every effort by HHS should be made to involve those federal agencies who can promote the much needed accommodations EHS persons need. There are motels with handicapped rooms. EHS persons cannot travel because sleep away from wifi radiation is not available. Schools are the most difficult of all for children forcing them into home school alone.

On Christmas Day, 1991 I had my first encounter with radiofrequency electromagnetic fields. My 2 yr old handed me a present-it was a flip phone.  When I made my first call, the energy vibrated up my arm & my head. My body had a strong, visceral reaction.  The moment's captured on video, so you can see my unplanned reaction. When I asked others how they could hold their phone to their ear while it zapped them, I realized I was an outlier. I started to connect my symptoms and use of the phone: extreme headaches, numbness, tingling, insomnia, anxiety-palpitations & brain fog.  When WiFi arrived it became extremely clear; WiFi nearby made me feel so unwell, it had to be turned off if I was within 50 ft. What began as a personal quest became a professional mission. For the past two decades, I have focused on public awareness & education in the area of digital wellness. Through websites, published articles, video content & public speaking engagements, I have informed audiences on the realities of how technology is affecting us and how to stay safer and healthier with it. I’ve had to build my whole life around accommodating the functional impairment of electrohypersensitivity (EHS). I don’t live close to cell towers. I don’t have a WiFi in my home, I have a wired ethernet connection. My home has a metal roof. I use RF-EMF blocking material, including a sleep canopy, and more. I drive a 2010 car with no wireless & use a EMF blocking cocoon wrap when exposure is unavoidable. Not everyone has this luxury. Not everyone knows they’re reacting. I’ve consulted hundreds of people who cannot break leases or move when they encountered the negative effects of RF-EMF. Many feel constantly surrounded by EMF without any relief from debilitating pain. The land of the free often presents as a prison for those who are most sensitive to EMF. My lived experience with EHS, is why I urge immediate consideration & protection for all sensitive groups, including children, people with chronic illness & people with EHS.  The reality is, even if someone does not physically feel the effects of EMF, that doesn’t mean they aren’t impacted at a biological level. In fact, there are already hundreds of peer-reviewed studies that link EMF to other negative biological effects like cancer, autism, thyroid nodules, insomnia, infertility. These scoping studies cannot be ignored (links below): The US National Toxicology Program claims on its Government site: Clear evidence of association with heart tumors male rats and some evidence of brain, and adrenal tumors. A 2025 review commissioned by WHO found Man-Made Wireless EMF Radiation causes Brain Cancer and Heart Cancer.  The evidence from 52 studies was assessed. The certainty of the evidence for an"increased risk of glioma or brain cancer, was judged as high.” The ICBE-EMF review revealed current safety limits for wireless EMF are severely inadequate to protect public health. Wydaeghe et. al. simulation of the FCC’s Maximum Permissible Exposure showed that in the worst-case scenario, a 6 year old boy can absorb wireless energy from a typical cellphone tower that is 45% more than the current FCC limits actually allow. Simulated 5G towers found exposure could reach 158% of the limits. Chokeli et.al looked at genotoxic biomarkers in children that had cell towers 100 to 400 meters from their schools. The closer they were the more biomarkers related to DNA damage and cancer, the kids had. A recent study published in Cureus Journal of Medical Science found significant associations between levels of wireless radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure in the home and child development. I hear the same comment repeatedly from my community, “My kids don’t sleep well when the WiFi is on.” A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, crossover pilot study points to the same conclusion: participants reported poorer sleep when exposed to radiation from a wireless baby monitor as compared to a “sham.” While more research is helpful, we already have more than enough convicting studies. Therefore the federal priorities at this point must employ risk management measures relying on current research, enacting laws to protect our youngest and most sensitive Americans while further studies are take place. As a mother with an adorable grandson, I often think, “Why does France care more about the effects of RF-EMF on children than my country does?”  For over a decade, children under 3 in France have been guaranteed a pre-school without the impact of WiFi.  For kids 3 to 11, parents are assured that the WiFi will remain off when it’s not used for digital education. Law #2015-136 also says any public establishment in France that has WiFi must clearly signal its presence.   An amazingly effective first step would be to pass a law like France’s. Imagine happier kids, more present teachers. This basic protection for kids is literally the least we can do. 

MY NEIGHBORS AND ANIMALS ARE DYING I am SICK. My family members have been SICK SINCE more than a hundred UNREGULATED TOWERS WENT LIVE over our community. This has been a challenge for me to get anyone to help in my community. I wanted to share my story in hopes of helping others. My story is one of many in Terrebonne Parish. After multiple (9) 300-foot 5G towers were put over our homes, four 300-foot 5G towers were put over my home and animal sanctuary, and four 300-foot towers were put over my office. At the same time, smart meters were put on my home, along with those of every other Entergy customer. I began getting sick, very sick. It began in my petting area with heart palpitations, headaches, vomiting, ringing in my ears, confusion, bleeding gums, insomnia, nightmares, dizziness, anxiety, ears buzzing 24 hours a day, severe fatigue, muscle weakness, and more. I have now been diagnosed with radiation syndrome / EHS (electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome) caused by extreme exposure to radiation. Many residents are experiencing similar symptoms. Countless children are now suffering. Being a very healthy person my whole life, this has been a life-changing situation. I am usually the one helping others; now I need your help. I never thought this could happen until I was forced to face it by becoming sick. I'm not sure where this illness will take me. However, I must do all I can to protect my family and my community. Seven neighbors on my street and friends have died after the towers went live over their homes. Many other residents are also sick. My community is surrounded by towers that have no regulatory testing information, nor does our planning department ask for it, citing the FCC's outdated RF radiation guidelines. I became certified in RF radiation testing. I now test the towers and smart meters. I can confirm that the EMF (electromagnetic frequency) / RF (radio frequency) radiation being emitted is extreme for every single product, tower, and smart device I have tested. has been a fight to protect my family, my community, and myself, with EVERYONE CITING THE FCC'S OUTDATED RF RADIATION GUIDELINES. I had to learn all I could about this to protect my health and theirs. I've had to turn my home, where I have lived for 28 years, into an EMF-safe house (until I sell it), as well as my barn, which is surrounded by EMF material and protection. My bed is covered with EMF protection as well due to the radiation levels in my home. I now have to wear protective clothing all day. Leaving my safe area means becoming exposed due to the unbridled towers around me. I am a very private person. This is not easy to share, but if I do not ask for help now, many more innocent people will be sick, or they will die like my neighbors, my friends, and my animals. Since the towers went live, six of my horses have died instantly under the towers. All of my little animals have died. My 200-pound tortoises started going blind. I'm not sure where the daily radiation exposure will take me, so I thought now is the best time to ask for your help in making a change. THE FCC MUST REGULATE THE RADIATION, OR THE DEATH & DESTRUCTION WILL NEVER END. Technology is safe only if it is REGULATED.

My husband and I started having health issues when we moved into our home 14 years ago. I was able to figure out that I am sensitive to RF radiation because whenever I would enter buildings that had Wifi I would either have extreme anxiety or significant heart issues. My husband often gets extreme pain when driving the car too long or being on the computer too long and these are due to the magnetic fields. We have recently found out that there is a very strong electric field in our yard and neighbor's yards and we found this out by using a body voltage meter. It can be as high as 6 volts outside and also in our bedroom. I have been sleeping on the couch for years because I feel awful when sleeping in the bedroom. I felt great when the power went out (due to a storm) for 4 days. It was wonderful! Even with our main circuit breaker panel turned completely off the body voltage meter levels are too high signifying an electric field outside our home. We have to look for other housing despite me having to go on disability and my husband being 70 years old. The electric field must be due to either the power lines outside or some other electric current we haven't been able to figure out. We feel bad every day and this whole ordeal has been a nightmare. I feel that the high electric fields caused us to sensitive to other fields like RF and magnetic.

Lived less than .5 mile from a stacked tower for 5 years. Ended up extremely sick from a house full of mold and severe chronic lyme that worsened signficantly. Now cannot be near any towers and am extremely sensitized to emf, cannot sleep with wifi on, reduce cell phone use as much as possible. Being near towers causes headaches, dizziness, nausea, rage, tightness in chest, tense body all over. Cannot find a safe place to live because towers are all near residential buildings. Sioux falls sd has towers on nearly every single school property. I am unsure of where I can safely send my child to school. No child should be exposed to emf on their school property or at home as radiation on kids has not been studied at all. My child suffers every time we are near a tower. Please end radiation poisioning and data centers. This is not the life I choose for myself or for my child. I do not consent to poisioning of any kind, chemtrails, food, water, emf, I do not consent to any harm forced upon by the government. It must end now.

Les troupeaux de bovins, de caprins, tous les animaux souffrent dans ces expositions. Les arbres aussi car ils ne peuvent pas bouger et c'est pire pour eux. Nous avons parmi nous une personne dont l'électro-hypersensibilité a été acquise génétiquement et qui est un véritable appareil de mesures. Dès qu'il n'y a plus d'exposition aux ondes toxiques, les troubles s'arrêtent. Nous avons vu une personne âgée faire un accident cérébral dans des ondes Wifi. Une autre une crise d'épilepsie.

Currently unable to live in my home due to the strong wireless signals coming from my joning neighbours homes. I've collapsed in doctors surgery while trying to get medical help due to the wifi and close proximity of phone masts. I was referred to mental health because of the devastating impact electrosensitivity is having on my life. They concluded the best way to help me was to give no more appointments because their wifi was making me worse...and all i needed was a home and they couldn't help with that. The local council and housing providers just "sorry we don't have anything suitable " and can't be bothered to try helping to find something for us. I cant private rent because i cant work because everywhere has /needs wifi, i cant work from home because i don't have anywhere to live and i have to avoid hospitals because the wifi in their makes me sicker than ailment they could cure. My human right to basic shelter that doesnt make me ill are being ignored and my health care needs ignored. Loc mps ignore me and government doesnt care. I apparently have no right to be alive and not in wireless signal but neither do i have a right to not exist. What exactly am i supposed to do?

I am a health provider in Toronto Canada. I have seen a number of patients, who present with sensitivity in varying degrees, to EMF/RF. We ran some unscientific experiments and trackings, a few had recently bought new cars (with wifi readings around 2V) they suddenly developed a racing heart and feelings of anxiety and panic anytime they were in their car (heart rate at 150 +bpm), we had them drive other older cars and they were fine. Others had severe muscle twitches in their apt suddenly - violent and visible - when we investigated turned out the building added new access points thruout. One of my clients sadly ended her life (medically assisted dying) because she could not escape the towers, there is no longer any 'safe space', her skin would blister and she was unable to sleep because she would jolt awake as soon as she fell asleep, she described it as being connected to electrodes that someone just turned the dial up on. She had had a hip replacement years ago and another patient had a tennis injury that required rotator surgery with pins, a few others had knee replacements, I wonder if having hardware in the body increases the sensitivity to EMF, ages and sex varied. One client had her hair start to shed, very visible balding (she lived near 16 towers in Toronto), she moved to her small hometown in Alaska and never experienced it again. I suspect for every anecdotal letter you receive there are hundreds more that are suffering and 1. didnt know about this request for submission or 2. haven't made the connection to this invisible irritant (and people think you're crazy when you mention it could be the towers/wifi).
