I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.
I am responding from the perspective of an individual, retired Registered Veterinary Technician, parent, and human being.
During January 2020, my family and I were sick with what seemed like a bad chest cold with cold/flu like symptoms. This was at the exact same time that AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile were all firing up their many 5G towers around the California central valley where I lived at the time. This was right after thousands of 5G towers were fired up in and around Wuhan China in September/October 2019 causing cold/flu-like “covid” symptoms”.
I have also worked from home using a laptop computer and wifi router which caused me symptoms of irritability, anxiety, depression, dizziness, headaches, nausea, heaviness in the chest, fatigue, sleep disturbances, tinnitus and other cold/flu-like symptoms. Once I took out the router my symptoms improved but it wasn’t until I left my job to move out of state and was no longer working on a computer for 40 hours a week that I really started feeling better.
I have had these same symptoms whenever I spend any time in a residence or building that has wifi and/or a large amount of electronic equipment, like the San Joaquin County building where the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors meet. I was sick for several days after spending hours waiting for my turn to speak in a Planning Commission meeting to address a legal matter regarding the San Joaquin River Club where I used to live.
I have also worked in several veterinary emergency hospitals with a lot of electronic equipment including fluid pumps, ultrasound machines, laboratory equipment and a CT scanner which caused irritability, anxiety, etc.
I currently live in a low EMF environment which has really helped to alleviate my symptoms of Electromagnetic Radiation Sickness/Syndrome.
I recently had an experience in which I had to have my iPhone 16 on my person for at least 8 hours during the day because I was waiting for an important phone call in a town with several cell towers and 5G service. By the time I got home and no longer needed to have my phone on, I felt ill like I had the “flu”. I felt nauseous, had a headache and had to go to bed early.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

2. The comments represent my own experieces with RF/EMF exposure.

a. RF/EMF exposure from heating system, television and Wi-fi .
b. In the mid 1990´s, I began noticing over sensitivity to my television and to my Nokia cellular phone. I also became oversensitive to the magnetic fields from the heating system in the real estate where I lived.
To begin with, I was not sure what it was that made me sick. I moved twice to other appartment blocks within the same rental association, but that did not change anything for the better.
My brother and I bought an RF/EMF meter and could see that the heating system in the basement emitted strong magnetic fields which went all the way up to the top of the building, the third floor.
In the third appartment, the magnetic fields coming from the heating system in the basement were stronger in my bedroom, which could explain why I became even sicker there than in my living room. I had to spend all my time in the living room.
I was furthermore exposed to Wi-fi from my neighbours, which also had a negative impact on my health.
c. Adverse health effects from the magnetic fields emitted by the heating system in the basement, was a highly reduced ability for my digestive system to absorb nutrition from food.
The magnetic fields made it very hard for me to sleep. Before that, my sleep had always been impeccable.
The magnetic fields made it very hard for me to think, it often felt as if I had a croquet ball in my head.
The magnetic fields also gave me an electric feeling in both my head and in my body.
EMF exposure from my neighbours made it hard for me to sleep. I have tried to sleep at friends´houses where the EMF has been high and it is impossible. Maybe half an hour or one hour during the night is what I can get there.
e. A medical doctor wrote a certificate of illness, where over sensivitity to RF and EMF was one of the diagnoses.
f. I had to move to a house situated three miles into the forrest, which is heated with a wood-burning stowe that emits no electricity or magnetic fields. The EMF is also very low here, where I now live in my house in the forrest. This has made i posooble for my body to rest.
Beginning in 2025, I have experienced microwave radiation with my body seeming to over heat. I thought it was menopause even though I’d already had that. The apartment I lived in then in Oviedo, FL was next to a large cell tower, but I didn’t connect the dots. It wasn’t until June 2025, when I was living in Pensacola, FL, that I realized this was definitely NOT menopause. I was living in an apartment downtown and that month I experienced what I described in my diary and to my family felt like I was being cooked from the inside out, the way a microwave cooks foot. It would happen 8 to ten times a day. I hear a wah wah wah sound in my ears then my head would feel like it was on fire and sweat poured out of my face. After a week of this, I went to the ER with symptoms of massive anxiety and lethargy. In a couple of months I lost my job because of the destabilization. I then lost my apartment due to unemployment. Every day now for 16 months this continues. I live in Palm Coast now with my brother unable to work. We live next to THREE cell towers here in Palm Coast. This has destroyed my ability to work. When I look at cell towers now, they look to me like massive weapons.
When the new meters went into my neighborhood, I started having headaches and soon my ears started ringing. I always used an ethernet for internet and kept cell phone usage to speaker or ear corded headsets. I opted to keep my analog meter and then had to pay a monthly fee to do so. I moved in Aug 2025 due to the increased symptoms and increased wifi signals that were coming through my home 24/7 that were increasing my fatigue and other symptoms. My new location is in a sparsely populated area and just got a tower last November. The signal is not terribly strong through my house but, I noticed increased symptoms anyway. There was a smart meter on the side of the house. There was NO analog option, so I enquired with the power company and had the meter removed from the house and placed at the property line 56 1/2 feet away. The ringing and fatigue are minimal and no headaches now. The ringing has diminished to a small sound that is livable. I could only afford to do this because of the funds from selling my home otherwise I would have had to move to somewhere with No meters and towers nearby. It is extremely concerning that people with these sensitivities are NOT being listened to at all. Many have been cast as NUTS by their doctors that are ignorant of the effects of strong fields. Just look at what directed energy weapons are capable of doing and then tell me this is some kind of imaginary condition. There is a location in the Carolinas where there is a large telescope that is in a valley protected from ALL of these signals so the telescope can operate and many people with these sensitivities have moved to that area of the country and recovered. We are the CANARIES of the COAL MINES! I do not give my permission to be experimented upon by a deaf government or private business that has MONEY as their only goals. Studies have been done and continue to prove the damaging health effects of WIFi and 5g. Denmark has removed wifi from all schools. If there was no health issue, they would have NOT done so. What will it take to make regulators stop ignoring the science? I wish to have this placed into the Congressional record. What I have said and experienced is by no means unique. Please act like life and health really matter. What is the point of having the science and regulation if you only ignore that and strive to accommodate big business interests and money. How much is your life worth? How about your children, parents, siblings and friends? Would you finally act to do something if one of those were adversely affected by these types of signals and radiation? What will you say to Our Heavenly Father someday if you have to explain WHY you did nothing? Please, please think about it seriously. The greatest challenges can be the biggest opportunities to create something that solves the problems. It would be so awesome if you stopped removing telephone lines and gave people the option to restore that service as it is safer than cell phones. Thank you for the opportunity to say all of this. I have been deeply affected by wireless radiation. It affects my heart and my brain giving me headaches , heART palpitations, insomnia, memory loss, disorientation and dizziness especially when in facilities like hospitals, schools, government buildings etc. I cannot use cell phones for the same reason and I now live like a hermit on an isolated mountain away from towers and smart meters. I am 74 years old and cannot socialize anymore or go on trips, fly or travel by train because everything is WIFid to the nines and everyone carries and always has on their mobile phones. The other issue is that everyone is expected to use cell phones for "verification" of identity. This become a nightmare for those who are disabled by densified RF fields, arthritis, poor vision, dyslexia and other conditions not conducive for using a smart phones. The fact that all phone booths have been removed to force people into the use of this dangerous equipment is reprehensible . I almost died on a trip I took because I was exposed to hundreds of towers and got disoriented and lost and drove 7 hours out of my way because there were no longer phones along the HYWY where I could call for help. I STOPPED AT MANY REST STOPS AND ASKED FOR HELP AND EVERYONE USED THEIR PHONES TO TELL ME I WAS GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WHEN I WAS GOING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION AND MY EXIT WAS 7 hours behind me! I had to stay in a hotel that really made me sick due to the WIFI and I could not sleep at all and had to drive to my destination the next day being disoriented with a migraine headache and deadly tired. I was weaving on the road while cars sped by me at 80 MPH! I was not able to call anyone to tell them what happened to me and I was reported as a missing person. Many people are marginalized due to this health condition and are living in cars looking for a safe sanctuary and have been made homeless. This is serious and this dangerous technology needs to be banned unless it can be used safely and so far it is not at all safe from any living organism,
If there had been one phone both at a gas station or a rest stop none of that would have happened to me except for the health affects of driving in a soup of RF radiation.
We were a healthy family until 2021 our health significantly declined. Little by little we started noticing we were having issues with 5g towers it started with my daughter's legs would go numb driving past 5g towers then she would be okay after. After we started traveling I had non stop brain fog at our home the 5g towers were 2.5 miles away. It was so bad I would rush to get ready for the day pack up the kids and go have fun at the parks just to get away and feel better. Then the cell tower crash happened 2025 for 4 hours no brain fog I felt so great at my home then cell phones started working and my brain fog came instantly back. We found a better place right next to neighbors with 5g hotspot which we didn't know existed. We all started having signs of radiation poisoning rashes, GI bleeds and sores. My daughter all of a sudden started complaining about a headache when at home we would leave she would be fine. Second day of this I started getting jittery and chest pains at home. My husband had our one vehicle at work. We spent the day walking the side of the roads and hanging out because our home made us so sick. My husband figured out it was 5g hotspot from our neighbors when he did a wifi search. He talked to the neighbors asked them to turn it off which they did for couple hrs we all felt so much better until it came back on and instantly headaches, chest pains and jittery again. Third day I couldn't be on the property at all I was having trouble breathing, brain fog, and very jittery I couldn't function. We had to move which you would think was simple but that's when we found out there was no place we could go without 5g towers. We moved away from the hotspot but closer to a 5g tower until we could find a safe place. I got so bad I remember hiding in the woods because the trees blocked some signal. I was pregnant and having braxten Hicks being around the 5g. We finally found a safe place after messaging so many air bnbs and hip camps because nobody gives you an address. It took me two weeks to recover from that. I could barely walk I was so weak. We want back home to Wisconsin expecting a safe home but instead found out we had no safe place due to 5g. We were allergic to the towers at our home that we lived at for 7 years, our friends homes, and most campgrounds. Finally found a safe place an hr away until they started updating towers up north to 5g. We moved south as our state wasn't working for us we had no place to be and God told us to go. Our first home we got radiation poisoning again from our neighbors 5g hotspot same story. The day we left I couldn't even walk my legs were so weak I just laid on the ground holding my baby who was napping I had no strength to physically move. When my husband brought the truck up for us to leave it was all I could do to get myself in. We tried so many campgrounds all had 5g wifi or 5g towers. One campground we were there 15 min my baby started screaming nonstop he never screamed. My son started rolling around on the floor screaming about his stomach hurting. I was so weak I barely could get my kids in the car but as soon as we left all the kids stopped screaming we were fine. We to this day can't be around 5g towers and avoid towns with 5g. For almost two years we felt like refugees in our own country no place to go that was safe and we physically couldnt be around 5g for long periods of time. God moved us to a county that bans 5g and we found some safety and normal life again. But there's only two small towns safe for us to go into the bigger towns we get headaches and other health issues and physically can't be there long. It's definitely limited us but we are thankful that we found some safety by our home at least.

Wireless radiation has affected me. Doppler Radar, the tower's, and the antenna’s frequency are horrific. Being a "canary in the coalmine" is AWFUL!! I experience a stiffened neck, heightened tinnitus, brain fog, migraines, an internal vibrating/buzzing and more. In my daily life, I have invested in Blushield, take radiation supplements (ie – apple pectin), use specific essential oils for EMF, and a host of other aids. Although, some days it can be incredibly intense. So much so, that I am bedridden. I absolutely support people affected by wireless radiation and am so grateful HHS is addressing this issue. I am disappointed, to say the least in the FCC.

Good morning - I am pleased that EMF and RF and Wireless exposure is being addressed. Our family decided to try to mitigate our exposure on our own because it didn’t seem like the gov’t or tech industry was motivated to address this. With so many unknowns and the exposures increasing every year, we are frustrated about the expense of trying to block, prevent, rewire, our home from things we never asked for. Maybe it isn’t a health threat, maybe it is - we just feel we would rather try to be safer (safe is not an option anymore) than sorry later. We have had family members with cancer, migraines, sleep issues, and neuropathy over the past decade and cannot help but wonder if there is a correlation because none of us smoke, drink, or have sedentary lives, or have a family history of these health issues. We eat organic foods when possible, try to limit plastic usage and stay on top of regular check ups and blood panel testing. Please help families likes ours who would prefer to have choices rather than costly mitigations expenses.
This comment is written for and on behalf of our family of three adults in Britain (UK). We became interested in the subject of the biological effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) when our lives changed in an instant after a base station (cell tower) was 'upgraded' in January 2019.
We are commenting as this is the first invitation to bring our collective experiences to a government department that is prepared to listen to first-hand accounts of the real cost to people who are injured by over-exposure to wireless technology, then ignored and ridiculed. There is also a huge environmental cost from the damage caused to the natural world from rising EMR emissions which is also being ignored. This is why we are grateful and thankful for the opportunity to raise these issues with the HHS.
Since the early hours of 17 January 2019, we quickly discovered that we were all suffering from severe 'Havana Syndrome' effects such as head-bursting tinnitus, nosebleeds, numbed limbs, brain fog, inability to speak fluently, copper taste in the mouth, heart palpitations and insomnia. Our lives are wrecked after years of trial and error in coping and managing an invisible invasion which fluctuates at any moment, whilst being effectively silenced by every government agency and department. We were on our own and that's when we researched the subject, which is ongoing. Due to EMR Syndrome (the recent renaming of the condition), employment, socialising and use of any public facility is almost impossible. We all have microwave hearing, which is 24/7and everywhere we have visited (even in the middle of woodland). Our relatives, friends and neighbours think we have lost our minds. The relentless wireless bombardment has taken its toll mentally, as we have had to deal with extreme life-changing events which mean we have a home that is essentially unliveable in, even though a lot of money has been spent on shielding/mitigation through the advice of a building biologist. Through the years of research, we have discovered a systematic approach of denial from those bodies who do know about the biological effects of all living things from EMR, but hold onto the outdated regulations and limits to enable a world of 'wireless connectivity'; long-planned. From observations and experiences online communicating with many other similar sufferers and interested parties, we hope that the HHS will take advice from research free from industry influence to bring about meaningful and sustainable levels of EMR/EMF compatible with all life on Earth. Organisations such as the WHO, the UN, the ITU and the IEEE must be made to comply, as the obsession with total wireless connectivity of everything (including humans) has to end and not be allowed to be resurrected, ever.
In conclusion, our family has suffered in an electromagnetic prison which is impossible to escape from; we see the environmental destruction from these unnatural frequencies escalating, along with ill-health and injury in populations, as 'wireless connectivity' is encouraged and pursued by governments. Decades of research is available and needs to be front and centre in decision-making, along with the more recent emergence of 'gold-standard science' which will help to close the gaps in knowledge. This is a worldwide problem which needs to be reversed to end the pollution and suffering.
