The commenter raises human and animal health concerns and requests study before widespread installation.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
This is not good for the health of humans & animals!!! It should be well studied first before anything like this this is massively installed!

The commenter describes Wi-Fi and cellphone sensitivity, severe sleep and mobility problems, relief with …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Very sensitive to WiFi/cell. Started by getting welts and torso skin burning when I used my phone after getting Nest doorbell and thermostat. I was unable to sleep for years, body visibly twitches. I didn't get any sleep signal so I was awake mobilized with heart racing all night. My melatonin release was suppressed and my nervous system was being stimulated. Always slept ok away from the city. Bought emf meter and it's around 1-3V in the home even with modem off. Bought a silver thread shielding canopy to sleep in, instant good sleep from night one! In 2023 though I injured my hip area, what should have healed in 4 weeks is still an issue 3 years later. In my home, at work and/or when an event comes to town (a fair or boat show etc), or in certain stores/places my muscles seize up randomly and violently, much worse at the site of injury. Any injury site has inflammation which I was told is a lighting rod for emf, and mast cells degranulate faster etc. I can go from unable to walk at all in a store, body all stiff and locked up, drive half hour away and walk in the canyons for hours or swim in a lake without issue. Then come back home and be unable to walk again. I started wearing a shielding hoodie all day long, with hood up, and it attenuates the response considerably and almost instantly. But it's embarrassing to have to wear. Recently many new cells (small and medium plus 2 large towers) have gone up a few blocks from my home. When events are on I can tell because my skin starts crawling, itching, burning, the hoodie isn't enough to block all the extra. I need to leave home during those times, go into the canyons, and then I'm fine. It's bizarre, and also crippling and expensive, and unsustainable.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
This radiation is non-ionizing and doesn't affect health negatively other than the implications of usual screen time. Also, let's take our information from actual medical sources instead of a man who legitimately claimed he had a brain worm and is obviously trying to push his "alternative science" agenda. RFJ Jr is an absolute joke and a scourge that is adversely affecting actual physicians and scientists.

I am writing in response to HHS’s Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure and how dangerous these are to humans. In recent times I have advocated for the innocent ones who will grow up in a harmful era and not be protected. As a parent and grandparent, I am concerned for our future generations what these will do to our offspring. Please fight for our freedom to protect and no more cell towers. Be allowed. I have autoimmune health problems, and my doctors that it is due to the Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. Thank you for your concern

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Mr.Secretary: Thank You for the chance to comment on this important subject. I have been on the Terrorist Screening Data Base for years due to a lawsuit I filed (and won) in 2011 against a government deep state contractor. In addition to 15 years of severe gangstalking, surveillance and terrorism, I have been subjected to chronic directed energy attacks which have put me in the emergency room several times. I have all the symptoms of Havana syndrome but cannot get a diagnosis because the CDC will not recognize the illegal torture perpetrated on private citizens..I support President Trump and his efforts to de-weaponize our agencies but wonder why it has taken so long to address the plight of Targeted Individuals. I belong to the group "TargetedJustice.com" and suggest you visit their archive which covers years of scientific research and factual data on EMFs and Directed Energy Weapons.

The commenter describes EMF sensitivity and symptoms attributed to a smart meter, reports opting out and …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am very sensitive to EMFs. The smart meter of my home was right outside of my bedroom and caused huge flares in fatigue, joint pain, ringing in my ears. and more. I am so concerned about our world and our children. Most people don't have the awareness, knowledge, or resources to make changes, or are stuck living or working near towers, smart meters, etc. There are changes that can be made! Fortunately I could opt out of the smart meter program in my area (and pay more monthly). I have my home hard wired. But I have to take great care traveling, visiting friends and family, even when selecting a church or school for my children.

I am an extremely concerned citizen who has done the research to educate myself on the topic of 5G. I know numerous women and children who have been affected by the radiation coming from small cell towars placed within their neighborhoods, school yards, and offices. I actively avoid businesses with 5G small towers on the building. I do become dizzy, nauseous, and irritable near 5G small cell and cell towers. I am concerned for my future children as 5G is scientifically proven to impact male gametes. 5G towers were constructed without the public's knowledge, approval, or consideration. The negative health effects are proving detrimental. It is time to remove 5G cells from our homes, jobs, and community.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent, and a human being. People's testimony regarding their negative effects from wireless radiation goes mostly ignored. This needs to stop. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.
