To: OASH HHS Re: HHS-OASH-2026-0397-0001 Here are personal observations in regard to EMF, RF and high frequency signals in general. Like most responsible health concious beings we all are concerned with the adverse effects from such man made technology. This has been and continues to be well documented by science & technology. These are experienced by most everyone in developed urban areas or near such devices and infrastructures without full knowledge or consent. In 2020 I tele-visited with an Ayurvedic Practioner in the SVA lineage of Vaidya Rama Kant Mishra's family. These were master vaidya's serving Lord Krishna's family. When Vaidya Mishra arrived in the US from India he noticed a commonality in patient's pulses not seen in India. Their livers were hot and angry from over processed foods, pharmaceuticals and synthetic supplements. He also noticed 'lightening' in the pulse which he traced to EMF, RF exposure. The pracitioner who visited with me was told by Vaidya Mishra that she could help the sensitive ones. Her husband was an electrical and computer science engineer interested in indoor environment safety. He provided a complimentary consult with some tips for reducing my exposure. Use ethernet and turn off the wifi, turn off the smartphones when on person and do not hold them near the head or set any devices on the lap and several other useful tips to lessen risk. When wifi was switched off at the source and not broadcasting 2.4 or 5 ghz frequencies, I noticed a lessening of 'hotness' and general agitation during and after use. There are several studies measuring the effects of exposure on human tissues. My first knowledge of these reports were via the library of Blushield technology. Blushield is now in my small home and in my backpack wherever I go in urban areas. It is a personal preference for mitigating exposure. It is also in loved ones homes. As a grandparent endeavoring to protect the precious resorce that is our children, I am deeply concerned with how we inform and handle this in the modern world.

Reports mixed symptom changes after exposure reduction and requests cumulative-exposure limits, local inp…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I'm writing to share how wireless radiation has affected my health and to raise a concern I don't think current policy accounts for: the layering of exposure inside and around our homes and office buildings. For years I lived with migraines, tinnitus, poor sleep, slow recovery, and a nervous system that struggles to settle. These aren't abstract complaints; they shape my life. When I began measuring the radio frequency levels in my home and reducing them, by hardwiring our network, scheduling the router off at night, and tracking down hidden sources, my body responded. The quality of my sleep has improved, although I still have day to day exposure and migraines have gotten worse, and the ringing in my ears hasn't stopped. What's most concerning is how pervasive the exposure is getting. A decade ago, a home might have had one wireless router. Today, radios are built into refrigerators, washers, thermostats, smoke detectors, televisions, sound systems, garage door openers, lighting controls, doorbells, and security systems, alongside routers, modems, and mesh repeaters. Many are boxed into walls and cabinets where homeowners can't see them, and many can't be turned off without disabling the appliance itself. People and pets absorb these signals around the clock, including while we sleep, when the body is meant to repair. Even after we deployed mitigation strategies, the highest reading in our house was in the hallway outside our bedroom, and it traced back to an alarm communicator mounted inside a closet wall. We didn't choose that exposure; we didn't even know it was there. The layers don't stop at our walls. Outside, 5G small cells now sit on streetlights and utility poles steps from bedroom windows, in addition to existing cell towers. Smart meters on each home relay signals to one another in a mesh network, so an entire neighborhood transmits as one connected system. License plate cameras at intersections and community entrances send their data over cellular connections, and satellite networks now beam service down from above. I can turn off my own router at night; I can't turn off my neighbor's smart meter, the small cell on the corner, or the camera at the end of my street. The public never consented to any of this and an informed public would surely not consent. Many of these systems also track where we go; geofencing lets companies and agencies draw a virtual boundary and collect data from every phone that crosses it. We weren't asked about the exposure or the tracking. Federal exposure limits were set in 1996 and evaluate single devices, not the cumulative load of dozens operating at once. In 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit found the FCC had failed to explain why those limits still protect people from harms unrelated to cancer, including effects on children and long-term exposure. The U.S. National Toxicology Program and Italy's Ramazzini Institute both found tumors in rats exposed to cell phone and cell tower radiation, and a Danish birth cohort study linked prenatal and childhood phone exposure to behavioral difficulties. Over the same decades that wireless exposure has multiplied, we've seen rising rates of autism, autoimmune disease, and chronic illness, and some researchers have raised questions about RF exposure and mold growth indoors. I'm not suggesting wireless radiation is the single cause of any of these; I'm asking that it be studied seriously rather than ruled out. Wireless radiation also doesn't reach us alone. Every day we're exposed to more synthetic building materials that off-gas, plastics in our clothing, children's toys, and household products, and chemicals permitted in our food and skincare. Each of these is approved on its own, and RF limits are set one device at a time, while our bodies take in all of it together. Little research has looked at how RF exposure interacts with this growing chemical load; until it does, I don't see how anyone can call the combination safe. I respectfully ask that you: 1. Update exposure limits to account for cumulative, long-term exposure from multiple sources, inside and outside the home, as the 2021 court ruling requires. 2. Require public notice and local input before new towers, small cells, smart meter networks, or surveillance cameras go up in residential neighborhoods, with a no-cost opt-out for smart meters. 3. Require that appliances and home systems with wireless radios offer a wired option or a simple way to disable the radio without losing core function. 4. Require clear labeling of wireless modules on appliances and building systems so families can make informed choices. 5. Fund independent research on chronic exposure and how it interacts with everyday chemical exposures, with attention to children, sleep, and the nervous system. Thank you for considering the people living with these exposures every day. Christy Wallace

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have experienced significant sleep, stress and energy problems staying in homes with a lot of smart devices. Namely, wifi cameras, smart devices and high capacity wifi routers. We have had to remove these devices or change to different, low tech options to resolve these issues.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of an individual/parent/grandparent. Because EMF radiation has affected me so greatly for so many years I have been researching the damages it causes for the past 6 years. I have read 4 books on it ("EMF'd", "Radiation Nation", "Unplug", and "The Non-Tinfoil Guide to EMF Radiation"), plus newsletters and articles from multiple sources. Here is my story: *I first noticed the problem in 2017 when a SmartMeter was installed right outside our bedroom window without our permission. That started disrupting my sleep greatly (couldn't get to sleep at all) so I had to start sleeping in the only bedroom that was not against that wall. *That helped somewhat but then I noticed that something was making my heart race. That is when I started studying the work of Martin Pall about how magnesium would help because it counteracts the VGCC’s (Voltage Gated Calcium Channels) that EMF’s open up. That eliminated the racing heart part as long as I didn't go near any source of EMF radiation after 5:00 p.m. *Then I started waking up every 2 hrs. to go to the bathroom. So my husband and I started turning off our WiFi at night. As long as the WiFi was turned off I could at least go back to sleep each time but waking up every 2 hours is not normal sleep! *It has been that way for the past 8 years until a month ago when I re-discovered something I learned from Dr. Mercola's book "EMF'd": Using molecular hydrogen water has had a PROFOUND effect on my sleep because it stimulates the Nrf2 pathway to neutralize free radicals that can lead to oxidative stress. Apparently my sleep problems were mostly due to the oxidative stress that EMF’s create. Now I only wake up once during the night! Yay! My husband’s story: *My husband used to have night terrors because he was sleeping against the wall where the SmartMeter is. He now sleeps with his head at the foot of the bed and that helped tremendously. He also recently had a mild stroke (called TIA) and the only cause we could trace it back to since he exercises, eats extremely healthy, takes multiple high-quality supplements, his blood work is perfect, we never put our cell phones up to our ears, and we have protective Defender Shield covers on our cell phones, is that: (a) his CPAP machine had been transmitting EMF's (we now use Airplane mode); (b) he had been doing consulting work in front of a computer for hours each day for 6 months; (c) his new hearing aids (purchased last year) had Bluetooth capability so he no longer uses that feature! I have learned from my research that EMF’s can cause blood clots and that oxidative stress can cause strokes! *Other stories from friends & loved ones: kids at school who say that they get terrible headaches after reading at school from an iPad for 3 or more hours each day, or kids who keep waking up during the night since there is an Alexa device near their head. One family friend was diagnosed with dementia at the age of 50 because she worked in front of a computer for 8 hours each day, and then at home she played on her cell phone a lot. Now her diagnosis is that her entire frontal lobe is gone! I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Reports electromagnetic hypersensitivity, severe multisystem symptoms and homebound employment with accom…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
To Whom It May Concern: I am extremely sensitive to radio frequency emissions. Exposure from 5G and EMFs already impacts my ability to live a full life personally. My chronic Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity condition has left me home bound even for the work I do full-time through workplace accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act. I have a well-documented history of this condition, which is recognized as an idiopathic environmental intolerance, which produces reproducible, multi-system symptoms in response to low-level environmental exposures to electromagnetic fields, exposures that are generally tolerated by the broader population. Symptoms include, but are not limited to migraines, vertigo, nausea, syncope, tachycardia, acute gastrointestinal distress, and profound fatigue with my condition being responsive only to strict environmental avoidance. These reactions are unpredictable, potentially severe, and have occurred both acutely while in exposure-related circumstances. Intensifying prevalence of objects like smartphones, smart meters, and Wi-Fi increase my symptomology and reduce my ability to maintain a manageable existence creating extreme conceivable biological harm. The supreme court in the state where I live is currently deciding if smart meters which emit high levels of human-made high-frequency nonionizing radiation and cause all house wiring to emit radiation will be permitted. Respectfully.

Reports feeling calmer after replacing wireless desk equipment with wired connections and questions wheth…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am an individual consumer, live in St. Louis, Missouri and am 77 years old. My zip code counts 144 mapped antenna sites. My comment here will be highly unscientific, but I have enough concern to access this site write about it here. I do not consider myself to be extreme in my beliefs or personality. All I can say is that I was jittery ... slightly anxious. I decided to do away with everything on my desk (within reason) to see if this could be quelled. I have a large Mac desktop computer that I can't do without. But I did away with my Wi-Fi tower, my electric lamp, my Bluetooth keyboard and wireless mouse. I wired my Ethernet cable to the computer, and wired my keyboard and mouse. Every morning I have coffee, sit quietly, and plan my day. The day after I made the above changes, I sat in my customary chair and exclaimed out loud, "Wow, what a difference!" The energy in the room was so much calmer. I have a mobile phone that I have tried to run on cellular, but it reverts to a generic Wi-Fi that's in my neighborhood. I wish I could be free of all EMFs, as they seem to affect the physical energy all around. Sometimes I wonder if the stress and divisiveness in our country is being exacerbated by the bombardment of electromagnetics that we are not wholly conscious of. Thank you for looking into all of this.

Attributes headaches, tingling, fatigue and heart-rhythm changes to wireless exposure, describes shieldin…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Hello, My name is Mary Kirby and I live in Ave Maria Florida. The wifi effects in my home and abroad are very detrimental to may health. My neighbors are kind enough to turn off their wifi when not using it, but using the cable box and tv can be just as detrimental. The effects on me are: headaches, foggy brain, pain in joints, when in a strong signal area, fatigue, shaky hands and painful tingling in the sublayer of my skin when in a strong signal area (stops when I leave the area) Effects the rhythm of my heart, when in a strong signal area (and stops when I leave it), Achiness and pain in my right thigh (where I had shingles about 10 years ago) and pain stops when I can remove myself from the area. HHS savings accounts cover EMF clothing etc. So the government knows it has negative effects on Humans. They keep upping the strength. Infinity uses 6G and possibly stronger (they call it 10G) If they could place harmonizers on all the wifi towers, starlink and satelites, to neutralize the negative effects of the High "G" being used, this could be a viable answer. I realized I started having serious problems with the wifi when the hotspots (3G was the first) came out then the G being used kept being raised. At this point it is very painful for me and very frustrating, because I cannot stop it any more. The clothing, hats, blankets are all made for 5G and that has been surpassed with 6G and above!!! The wave goes right through the silver fabric. So, I double up the fabric and this slows it and even stops it from getting to me. We should not have to live like this and be in pain most of the day!!! Please evaluate this and make healthy corrections to how The WIFI towers are being used and built. Put protections on them. The waves are know to alter our DNA, which caused cancer, It is scientifically proven to cause AFIB, and I could go on and on. Bettering our technology is a good thing, but it must be safe for humans at all times! Thank you for investigating this deadly problem with WIFI and Satelites and StarLink

Reports sensitivity and diagnosed premature ventricular contractions associated with multiple exposure se…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
2. 4j. I am a 68 year-old female individual. Masters degree in Architecture, Registered Architect. I speak simply from my own experience. 3. 3b. My father was a HAM radio buff, so I grew up under those radio waves. Born with a metabolic bone disease, I had more than the usual number of x-rays. For the past 20 years, our family has driven hybrid cars. These things may have contributed to my sensitivity. 3c, e, 4h. For quite some time I have experienced PVCs (Premature Ventricular Contractions), finally diagnosed by a Holter monitor worn several years ago after my Primary Care Physician ran several other tests and found nothing wrong with my heart. These PVCs feel like I’m being “zapped,” and I instinctively cough, trying to regulate my heartbeat. 3a. Recently, they’ve become much more frequent, and I see a strong link to high EMF. Hospital equipment, airport communications, wifi, cell phone signals, high-powered electric lines, and Smart Meters cause the worst issues for me. Solar flares and Coronal Mass Ejections exacerbate the PVCs, but not much can be done about that. EMFs have become ubiquitous, though, and are getting harder to avoid. 4k. A classic, but memorable example: When driving up I-95 around New York City last summer, the PVCs and the accompanying cough were constant for nearly an hour, until we were finally past the City and the density of those 5G transmitters. Driving through Vermont was quite pleasant, by contrast. Mountains, trees. Not much traffic. Then suddenly the “zapping” and coughing started again. Sure enough, as the trees cleared, a huge cell tower came into view. And as we left it behind, the zapping subsided. 4k. Eating out has become risky. My husband keeps his phone in airplane mode when I’m near, but when new customers are seated at the next table, it’s not unusual for our pleasant evening to become a nightmare as I am overwhelmed with the “zapping” their smart phones and watches provoke. Meanwhile, they look at me like I have the plague, wondering how I dare come out in public if I’m obviously so contagious. (Sigh.) 4m. Do people REALLY need to have their smartphones on 24/7? Could we encourage people to keep their phones in “airplane mode” unless they actually NEED them? And then there are so many young people that walk around all day with Bluetooth earbuds. I try to keep clear from them as much as I can, but I worry about what they are doing to their own health. 3f. We recently bought a new car. But not a hybrid this time. When out son checked the EMFs for us on test drives, they were extremely high. We settled for a gas-only vehicle… having finally found one that at least MOSTLY lets us turn off the on-board wifi. Such is becoming rare. 3f. My new hearing aids give off three times the EMF of my previous pair, so I wear them only when necessary. If they’re on, they’re searching for Bluetooth. My audiologist has no other options for me. 3f. My only recourse is to avoid situations where I know there will be high levels of EMF. I do like to socialize and be with people, but I find myself becoming a recluse. Our son put a wire mesh over our Smart Meter to reduce its impact, and that helps a bit. We always turn off wifi at night, my husband keeps his smartphone and iPad in airplane mode when not in use, and I turn my CPAP machine to airplane mode when I plug it in. I avoid being online for long periods of time, and stop as I feel the PVCs approach. I hide behind my reflective silver-woven curtains at home to reduce the EMF from the cell tower outside my window, and curl up under my silver-woven blanket and hood at night. I sleep much better with them, as they block enough EMFs from said cell tower that I no longer wake up throughout the night with PVCs. There ARE still occasional times when the silver isn't enough, and I wake up coughing. Later I learn there were Solar Flares or CMEs that night. My silver blanket and hood also help quiet the “buzz” (which eventually leads to PVCs when left unchecked) while waiting at airport gates or when the plane itself has on-board wifi and I’m completely surrounded, but it comes with its share of stares. And the silver fabric only blocks so much. Our culture has been encouraged to have “Smart” Everything. It is expected. And I fear for the long-term consequences that this increased exposure will bring to this next generation.

Reports becoming ill at home, objects to tower and Wi-Fi deployment without adequate health consideration…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Non native frequencies are making me very ill. I have recently found that I cannot stay in my own home without getting ill. I am attempting to address this and it is complicated. Wifi and cell towers have been placed without care for health. Technology has rolled forth quickly without care for safety. I am supportive of new technology but this process requires regulation.

An older adult links a rising A1c result to EMF concerns, reports improved sleep and reduced tinnitus aft…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of an active citizen in her eighties who lives alone and has recently recognized and is attempting to protect herself from EMF exposure harms, and who wishes to help spread the word about our societies need to protect citizens especially children from this growing toxin, I have lived with a modern wifi unit (Sonic) in my home for five years, and with an earlier generation of wifi (AT&T) for many years before that. In March 2026 after my yearly blood test, my nutritionist said that the pattern of change in my HbA1c test indicated likelihood of high EMF exposure. For the past 10 years since I've been her client the results have stayed between 5.2 and 5.4. Abruptly this past year it moved up to 5.7, the first number in the pre-diabetic category. As I said to her, I have not significantly changed my diet (no grains or refined sugar, lots of low starch veggies, some berries and citrus, grass-fed and finished meat, pastured eggs, fish). She recommended hard-wiring my computer and getting rid of wi-fi, which I have done. (I do not own a cell phone, smart or otherwise.) It's a distinct relief to not be bathing in wi-fi any more. I've long had tinnitus, which while not vanishing is much reduced, and I sleep better. I do think I may also be impacted by involuntary sources of EMF, namely cell towers and antennas. My nutritionist did a search and found about 2300 antennas and 1900 towers within a 3 mile radius of my house. I do have an EMF meter, and though the extremely high counts in my home are gone (they were in the millions), it still reads higher than 10 in my bedroom. So I am thinking of getting a bed canopy. I do look forward to the results of my next A1c test, hoping to see the numbers lower. I am very concerned about the effects of EMF on our human body health as well as impacts on animals, birds and insects, especially bees. The FCC has only measured the thermal impacts of RF, and that no more recently than 1996. For heaven's sake, there has been no attempt by the FCC to keep up with health impacts of cell phones and RF/EMF development since the pre-flip phone era! This seems a deliberate avoidance of the probable biological impacts on our cells and organs. We are after all electromagnetic beings. Much research has been done on this. Please look up Paul Heroux' work, published February 2026, on EMF and the development of diabetes. I strongly support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
