I am submitting this comment as a licensed Professional Engineer (environmental engineering master’s degree), U.S. Navy veteran, and concerned citizen. Current federal exposure guidelines for RF/EMF from wireless devices, Wi-Fi, and 5G infrastructure are outdated, based primarily on thermal effects, and fail to adequately protect public health—especially children, pregnant women, and those with electromagnetic hypersensitivity.
Independent research, including the National Toxicology Program animal studies and multiple peer-reviewed papers, has shown clear evidence of biological effects at levels well below current FCC limits, including increased cancer risk, oxidative stress, DNA damage, and reproductive harm. These findings have been dismissed or minimized while industry-funded studies and captured agencies continue to claim “no proven harm.” This pattern mirrors other failures of public health agencies that prioritize corporate interests over independent science.
I urge HHS to:
Commission and fund truly independent research that examines non-thermal effects, cumulative exposure, and real-world chronic low-level RF from 5G small cells and densified networks.
Update safety standards to account for biological effects, not merely heating of tissue.
Require transparent disclosure of conflicts of interest in all studies relied upon by the agency.
Support a precautionary approach: pause further dense 5G deployments near homes, schools, and hospitals until safety is demonstrated, and prioritize wired alternatives where feasible.
Investigate and publicly report on the health impacts of the existing nationwide 5G infrastructure that has been rolled out with insufficient long-term data.
The public has a right to accurate information and protection from involuntary exposure. Continuing to rely on 1990s-era thermal-only limits while saturating the environment with pulsed RF is not acceptable. I call on HHS to put human health ahead of industry expansion.

We don’t know what the long term effects of blanketed EMF and RF exposure will do to our health. At the very least we should have restrictions such as: no freestanding wireless facilities within 500 feet of
residential zone and schools.
First, thank you HHS for the incredible transformation of the agency under the current leadership of Secretary Kennedy. It is with great pleasure that I track the enormous multitude of positive outcomes from regenerative farming, to mrna research to remedies for vaccine injury. In a world of increasing corruption, HHS is setting its sails in the right direction - that of true concern for public health. Thank you!
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. There is mounting evidence that exposure to these technologies affect US population negatively. If DARPA and the DOW can develop and deploy technology that uses electromagnetic pulse technology to harm or disable populations, the government MUST pay close attention to the consequences of a multitude of new electronic technologies and their effects, even if the negative effects are unintentional.
I am Ally Whitney, Esq. and responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. As a well informed citizen, and attorney, I support people affected by wireless radiation and believe HHS should address this issue.
I support HHS taking a very active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation and suggest a robust Office of Electronic Technology be opened to study these health outcomes. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
I also urge HHS with current evidence to ensure that there are appropriate policy recommendation that enable safe living and work environment for not only our human population but our natural resources as well.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard, and the support for their health that they truly deserve.

I am responding from the perspective of a parent.
I do not know the extent to which wireless radiation has affected myself and my family, and this greatly concerns me. Everywhere we go, there are cell towers. Towers on top of towers. My head aches when I drive through certain areas. My children complain of sharp headaches often in the same areas. There is a cell tower near enough to our home that my concern is growing. Some days I feel like they must be blasting the signal more because I experience unexplained brain fog, heart palpitations, wheeziness, and more headaches. Other days, multiple children will have headaches or nausea at the same time, which resolves when we leave our home. The more I observe this, the more I question the cell tower at the end of our neighborhood.
I definitely can feel the effect of radiation after using devices during the day. Though I do try to mitigate, there is no clear guidance of what is safe. 4g, 5g, 6g - none of this is explained to the public, it is just forced on us. The need to use wireless devices to communicate is undeniable, but I want to clearly know how it is affecting our health.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I am a concerned member of the public. I have experienced headaches and neckaches from wireless radiation while riding in a fully electric car for only a half hour. Additionally, I have experienced the effects of wireless radiation when driving for longer periods of time in new cars that are not fully electric, but have too many EMFs coursing through it via numerous apps, sensors, and features that require WIFI and other EMFs to function. The effects I have experienced include headaches, reduced immune system, core frequency imbalance of my body, and a specific fatigue. Wireless radiation has affected my husband in the same manner. He is also negatively affected by wireless radiation when driving by cell towers and other areas that expose the public to wireless radiation.
I fully support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by “uncaptured” federal agencies with appropriate, uncaptured expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should serve as primary evidence and considered alongside the additional, numerous studies and the scientific evidence.
Protection from wireless radiation needs to be built into every device that emits the harmful radiation. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these first-hand experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal guidelines and research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.
Kind regards,
Why is the US so far behind in everything related to health? toxins allowed, dangerous vaccines, poor health outcomes (longevity, infant mortality, etc), I could got on for a long time. I know first hand the dangers of EMFs, RF and Wireless exposure. Is this truly late-stage capitalism, where the thirst for profits drives us into a cataclysm. We are become a 3rd world country in effect, where our elected reps are bought and sold by the money crowd.
It's unbelievably crazy that dangerous levels of EMF pollution has been allowed to be forced into our lives without proper safety testing through multiple independent (and un-bribable) testing groups. Is the toxic soup we're all bathing in through ever-increasing cellular speeds, wifi, etc.safe for children and adults? It seems as if our government has sold us out to the companies with the deepest pockets, keeping its citizens sick, fat, and dumb on purpose through the hundreds of thousands of toxic chemicals and frequencies that have become ubiquitous in "normal" American lives. It's truly no wonder why we're the most chronically sick nation on the planet. I support any legislation making it illegal (and criminally punishable) for companies, individuals, and our own government to poison our citizens. And so should EVERY lawmaker we elect and every government employee we hire from this point on. It's time to care for the PEOPLE, not the corporatocracy that sacrifices human health and wellness for profit. Just like the fall of Rome, we have lost our way and have allowed psychopaths to control our health. It's time to right these wrongs and put the wellness of our people at the forefront of our political goals and agendas. Anyone, regardless of wealth and stature, who fails to do so should be immediately investigated and held accountable.
And absolutely NO 6G unless and until it's determined to be safe for even our most vulnerable children, elders, and those who are sick!
I am concerned about the health and environmental effects of wireless radiation, and I ask for more research to be done in order to help people who are already suffering effects and to help keep those safe who haven’t suffered from effects yet. People and the environment are precious and should be taken care of, and research needs to be done and new guidelines applied in order to protect them. Thank you for your help.
It’s time to do the right thing. I wouldn’t want to face God one day knowing I have hurt many of my brothers and sisters because I did nothing. That guilt will be on you.
Over the past several decades, wireless technology and infrastructure have exploded, transforming the environment in which we live, work, learn, and raise our children. Yet the federal guidelines used to determine the safety limits for exposure to wireless radiation are decades old and have not kept pace with the rapid expansion of wireless technology or the growing body of scientific research raising concerns about its effects on human health and the environment.
Our children deserve better.
They deserve to grow up in an environment where their health and safety are prioritized and where technology is supported by meaningful, up-to-date science—not assumptions based on outdated guidelines.
Please act. This needs to be remedied.
Regards,
Sheila Salce

It is imperative HHS address the issue of the harms caused by incessant EMF exposure. I had the opportunity to live in a low EMF building an my health and mental emotional well being improved dramatically and also met many individuals who had been damaged by EMF exposure who had heart issues and culd no longer tolerate any exposure without experiencing extreme debilitating symptoms, like tremors, migraines, heart palpitations, dizziness, flu symptoms and more. I fear for the children with phones and ipads and constant exposure at home via smart meters and other smart devices, and at school. Their brains are more vulnerable than adults. The power output on routers can be dramatically reduced without compromising connectivity. We need to switch to fiber optics. We are killing the bees and wildlife with these frequencies. We are destroying our planet for convenience. Please take corrective measre and educate the public in the meantime about protective measures. Tell the FCC to change the allowed frequencies and testing to reflect the new levels of radiation being used. The courts ordered them to di so and they simply disobeyed. Enforcment please.
