ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I had an electric smart meter installed against my will and I got really bad after this two days after that my head started beeping for another 3 days I got pressure on my chest had to go to the hospital in an ambulance and nothing was found and after another 3 days I got it again and then had heart fibrillation which went away by itself in the middle of the night and I have always had these problems before I am physically active I run and cycle I am 60 years old I still have beeping in my head but this goes away if I leave home after a few days I have sued the electricity company but the court announced the case and no one believes me and it is completely crazy that it is allowed to happen like this there are EU rules 2019 /944 art 22 which gives me the right to use a traditional electricity meter but all the authorities turn a blind eye to this Tomas Nilsson Sweden

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I, Morgan K, submit this filing as testimony and consideration the the HHS review of radio frequency and electro magnetic frequencies which include wifi routers, smart meters, cellular towers, 5g, 4g, 3g, 2.6g, all smart phones and cellular phones, fiber optics, wifi towers and antennaes. I am extremely concerned for the health of myself, my children, my pets and all humans who are subject to very detrimental and damaging frequencies that have been overtly studied and found to cause extreme disease, cancer and even death. I have been experiencing negative effects from RF since I was 18 years old when I began to notice terrible headaches any time I would use my celllular phone to my head. I soon began to notice that the DECT cordless phone would cause me to have insomnia if I did not unplug them and take the batteries out. Some of my primary concerns are cell towers, antennas and wifi towers within 5 miles of homes and schools. My children and I have suffered from RF exposure that caused headaches and migraines, dizziniess, inabiltiy to focus, learning difficulties and disabilities, insomnia, elevated cortisol levels, extreme heating to the head and more. Findings from many studies including the ones I have attached to this filing show without a down that these inorganic frequencies are causing these symptoms and more. They are also causing infertility, birth defects and long term impact on unborn children. As stated in the paper titled A review of potential health risks of radiofrequency electromagnetic field exposure from mobile phones and base stations in children and pregnant women (see attached), "It has been reported that chronic exposure to low-intensity GSM-like radiation (900 MHz) in female Sprague–Dawley rats shows mixed outcomes. There have been no pathological changes in Short-term studies, whereas long-term studies indicate significant reduction in survival (~9%)." So even lower frequencies as low as DECT 900mHz cordless phones pose a huge risk to humans and the environment. My mother has been effected by these dangerous frequencies when she was diagnosed with cancer. The correlation between RF and Cancer has been demonstrated by the studies I have attached to this filing as well as in many others. I strongly urge HHS and the FCC, under the weight and consideration of the scientific evidence, find the current RF exposure limits are deleterious and completely insufficient to public health and the environment. They should be dramatically lowered to reflect the science and the findings of science and people's irrefutable experiences from around the world that were previously dimissed and disregarded by the Commision. Thank you, Morgan K

The commenter reports improved sleep after smart-meter removal and similar experiences among friends, des…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am writing to let you know how EMF's, RF Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure have personally impacted me, plus share their impact on several of my friends. I admit that I am addressing them as an entity, as I do not have access to technology that can single out any one risk to life. But I do have access to my own life experience. "Smart" electric meter: Duke Energy installed one on my house without my prior knowledge. Subsequently, I began to experience frequent awakening during the night; the "smart" meter was located at the far end of my home, away from my bedroom. After a convoluted process involving Duke Energy and notarized paperwork from my primary care physician, I was finally able to get it replaced with a manual read meter, resulting in improved sleep. Two friends of mine both experienced major sleep disruption as they live in a condo with "smart" meters just outside their bedrooms. One has now moved out and is experiencing improved energy and health. The other, financially unable to relocate, created his own inside protections to help shield his bedroom; he, too, is experiencing improved health and functioning. Cell towers: the more that go up, the worse I feel. My personal symptoms include awakening suddenly in the middle of the night with a vibrating, quivering, physical sensation in my chest and abdomen of several minutes duration. Please note that three male friends, of varying ages and with whom I compare such experiences, all experienced similar sensations on that same night around that same time. And this has recurred multiple times since. While it does not seem to be related to age or gender, it may have something to do with our more sensitive temperaments (all are empaths, three of us are healers). We've concluded that someone "turned up the juice" at those times. A woman whom I've met told me that she has to sleep in her car on the Blue Ridge Parkway to get a better night's sleep. Cell phones: have you ever witnessed a bright, personable child evolve into a zombi-like young teenager, after she was given a cell phone by her grandparents (against the wishes of her parents)? I have. It's tragic. Just look around. So many people are glued to their devices. Real human interactions are becoming rare. I've been close to being rear-ended while driving and yup, that person was looking at her cell phone. With more and more cell towers being installed, increasing network strength, plus mandatory "smart" meters for water and propane with no opt-outs, neighbors' Ring doorbells, Flock and other surveillance cameras...where do we go to escape for our health and our very lives??? For the sake of all Life and the future of our fragile Earth, I implore you to investigate this and to establish updated, appropriate regulations--not only regarding what these major energetic disruptions are doing to humans, but also to our declining bees and pollinators, birds, various wildlife and soils. Perhaps this is part of the agenda to reduce population; but do you have children and grandchildren and those whom you love? Thank you for your consideration of these matters.

Describes reports from legal and advocacy intake about wireless exposure, lighting, fiber-installation in…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Subject: Professional Comments on EMF/RF Exposure Frameworks and Public Health Observations From a professional standpoint within the Michigan legal and advocacy sector, this comment is submitted anonymously to safeguard organizational identities while contributing vital observations gathered from public intake. Over a period of several years, a number of individuals have sought professional consultation regarding physical grievances, environmental instability, and institutional barriers stemming from exposure to various electromagnetic fields (EMF) and radiofrequency (RF) frequencies. Many complaints show a deeper concern regarding pulsating frequencies in particular – Wi-Fi, 5G, and Bluetooth are common issues. Primary concerns brought forward during these consultations involve radio frequencies emitted by consumer wearables and cellular devices, with 5G infrastructure frequently cited as an accelerating factor. Furthermore, individuals have reported sensitivities to workplace LED lighting systems introduced into healthcare and commercial facilities, as well as providing an outpouring of criticism regarding outdoor LED lighting creating vision difficulty and a blinding effect. A distinct subset of inquiries involves the recent rapid deployment of fiber-optic installations. Documentation presented during these intakes indicates that standard installations frequently fail to prioritize the mitigation of electromagnetic interference (EMI). Specific technical areas of concern include improper grounding techniques and the utilization of copper tracer wires. There is significant concern that the integration of 5G and small-cell infrastructure onto existing tracer wires inadvertently elevates ambient radiation within residential zones. Additionally, the strategic placement of converter stations near high-density residential areas introduces low-frequency magnetic fields that communities are ill-equipped to shield against. Consequently, individuals are increasingly requesting regulatory requirements for enhanced insulation, structural shielding, and strict hardwired enforcement policies that explicitly prohibit the retrofitting or attachment of wireless small-cell antennas or radio units to fiber backhaul lines. Beyond structural infrastructure, a growing portion of professional inquiries involves individuals seeking assistance in navigating their relationships with medical care teams. The records indicate a troubling pattern of institutional friction and discrimination when patients request simple environmental accommodations, such as asking staff to leave wireless devices outside the examination room. Reports include accounts of individuals being ridiculed or dismissed by medical personnel. To mitigate these hostile environments, some individuals now incur the personal expense of hiring third-party witnesses to accompany them to appointments to ensure respectful treatment, while others rely on portable audio recorders to preserve the details of their consultations. Given the accelerated pace of modern clinical environments, where overlapping appointments frequently result in hurried communication, the ability to record a medical visit serves as an essential tool for patient comprehension and data retention. Regulatory frameworks should explicitly protect a patient’s right to record their own paid consultations. Accumulated data over years of professional intake underscores the necessity for updated regulatory oversight. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines must be modernized, as the foundational exposure limits rely on data compiled long before the ubiquity of modern wireless infrastructure. The current deployment pace outpaces long-term biological safety tracking, impacting both human populations and local wildlife ecosystems. Observing these consistent reporting patterns has prompted immediate changes in my own personal technology habits, resulting in measurable improvements in cognitive efficiency and energy levels. Stricter federal guidelines, independent biological studies, and the establishment of verified low-EMF zones are entirely appropriate, necessary, and vital to preserving public quality of life.

Proposes a causal relationship between RF exposure and central sensitivity illnesses, including electrohy…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Since my comment exceeds 5000 characters, I´m sending it as an attached file. It collects my personal experience on how electromagnetic fields have affected my physical and mental health. The thesis I defend, supported by different scientific research, is that there is a direct cause-effect relationship between radiofrequency and central sensitivity illnesses (fibromyalgia, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple chemical sensitivity, electrohypersensitivity). These illnesses, only recently on scene, affect millions of people all over the world. If the research proves that these illnesses are caused by inadequate limits for wireless technologies, the human, working, economic and social costs can be huge.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am responding to Docket (HHS-OASH-2026-0397) regarding EMFs, RF and wireless radiation. I responding as a concerned member of the public. I became aware of the dangers of wireless radiation about five years ago. The FCC has not questioned the current RF guidelines in 30 years. During that time we have had rapid expansion of population wide wireless radiation exposure. It is long past time for the FCC or HHS to provide rigorous, independent and transparent research the effects of wireless radiation on humans, especially children. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate personal experiences and the scientific evidence, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

I was diagnosed with electromagnetic Hypersensitivity about seven years ago. My symptoms were itching. Dry eye. Headaches. Brain fog. I was unable to ride in cars Due to their Dirty energy And exposure to. Wi Fi capabilities. My house Now uses. Incandescent lighting. No wireless capabilities. I use Ethernet to connect to my computer.. People are not allowed to use Their cell phones in the home. I had to give up driving. And all social activities outside the home. Currently I go to. A grocery store once a week for about 15 minutes. I am primarily housebound and have had to give up all. Social activities. The FCC is using. Research. That took place in the 1990s. And has been. Corrupted by. Technology companies. I appreciate your looking into this significant problem. As I have had several friends who have had tumors operated on. I currently have a tumor on my. Adrenal gland. It appears to be benign. If you look at the. Research By the government, that costs $25 million years ago. You can see The peer reviewed results. That was done on mice and rats. Thank you. Sincerely. SHARON. MCWETHY.

An attorney describes learning about reported biological effects through environmental advocacy, work on …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I remember my first cell phone. My parents bought it for me when I was in fifth grade. It was a pink Razr Motorola flip phone. Little did I know at the time that a few years later, I would start working for an environmental health non-profit organization on Long Island where I’d learn about the seriously disturbing health effects linked to wireless radiation exposure emitted by devices like cell phones, WiFi routers, and even those big cell towers that we see on highways and near homes across America. On the first day of my internship with the non-profit, the organization’s Executive Director sat me down at the office dining room table and dropped a couple of three-inch binders, each overflowing with paper, right in front of me. The table shook due to the weight of the binders. She told me that every piece of paper in each binder was just a sliver of the scientific literature about the biological effects of wireless radiation exposure. DNA damage. Sperm damage. Oxidative stress. Cancer. The list of terribles went on. My eyes widened. I had been, and continue to be, a health-conscious person. I want a healthy family, and I want to live a long, happy life. It greatly angered me to realize to realize that I had handled wireless devices in a potentially unsafe way -- especially during some of my most important developmental years -- because I just didn’t know better. Before that day in the office, nobody had ever told me that wireless radiation is a health hazard. Where would I have learned such information? From the non-existent warning label on my cell phone? From health class? From the FCC -- a revolving door for telecom lobbyists and former industry insiders? From the media outlets that get their advertising money from Verizon and AT&T and T-Mobile? After years of working in the non-profit sector and learning as much as I could as quickly as I could about the wireless telecommunications industry and the scientifically documented adverse biological impacts of RF radiation, I became a staunch advocate for the responsible and thoughtful placement of wireless telecommunications infrastructure. But that wasn’t enough. I couldn’t just be an advocate. I needed a law degree. So, I went to law school so I could teach municipalities about the powers they have to enact wireless telecommunications ordinances that prioritize public safety and smart infrastructure siting. And I still enthusiastically do that work today with my brilliant father who has practiced law for over 43 years. I am genuinely encouraged that HHS has issued this RFI. I hope this marks the beginning of a fundamental shift in how our federal government addresses the health and environmental implications of wireless radiation. The FCC has had ample time to act, and its record speaks for itself. Clearly, it cannot do its job. HHS must now take a leading role in investigating the health effects of wireless radiation and ensure that public health drives federal policy. This is HHS’s big moment to be on the right side of science and history. Please seize it. Thank you for your consideration of my comments.

A retired electrical engineer objects to increasing pulsed RF exposure and federal communications policy,…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a retired Electrical Engineer, possessing a GROL (Commercial License), issued by the FCC, who has operated three nuclear reactors, and acquired a background in Radiological Controls and Health Physics, in the process of qualifying as a Nuclear Reactor Operator, I could comment, endlessly, on the scientific reasons for my objections to the ever-increasing levels and distribution of Pulsed-Mode Radio Frequency Electro-Magnetic Radiation, as well as give testimony to the negative health effects I have personally experienced from exposure to same, but I would like to focus my comments on my opposition to the Federal Communications Commission, in general and, more specifically, to HR 2289, before the 119th Congress, which would Eliminate Local Authority Over the Communications Infrastructure. To this filing, I plan to attach two documents. The first is a .doc file, in which I express my full comments to the Department of Health and Human Services, concerning Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure, as it pertains to the Federal Communications Commission and to our Founding Documents. The second is a .pdf document, generated by the National Call for Safe Technology, addressing HR 2289, which is being considered by the 119th Congress. Thank you. Dan Medbury

Argues for precautionary action on cumulative wireless effects without waiting for demonstrable harm, com…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Adverse effects and harm from EMF/wireless tech is not imaginary and "harm", per se, should not be the standard for concern and action. If zero cigarettes is the standard for health and "harm" doesn't result from smoking one or two, then why the double standard on clearly bio-toxic field-effect phenomena? The legacy of cumulative harm from this era of reckless disregard will have your names on it.
