Exposure limits & oversight

Our loved one was harmed by over exposure to radiation at a hospital where she worked and in an apartment building where she lived. Neither place would test the area. She heard a physician speak about his daughter's problem with radiation exposure. She purchased the meter he recommended and tested the environments, which were in the high danger zone. She moved out. She suffers greatly and cannot go in many places without excruciating pain (headaches, jaw pain, stomach pain (as if being punched in stomach), brain fog, speech problems, etc. She once visited Green Bank WV and felt peace. If she walks on a beach or barefoot in the woods, she feels better. Her life and travels have been significantly compromised as a result. She has been unable to fly or go to many places. Please update guidelines and create safe places for people like our loved one. She recently moved to a new place and has been unable to create a safe environment. She needs a landline, but the wiring was removed when the contractors renovated the house and local suppliers refuse to install one. She really needs help. She rarely goes to large events and even struggles going to church because there are no safe zones, despite her pleas to create these. When she goes into a hospital (after working in hospitals her entire life), she gets quite sick. She can only travel in old cars, since so many of the newer ones have too much technology. We're concerned for her life, as it looks like she now needs surgery for something and we're concerned about how to protect her during and after surgery and recovery. Most physicians we encounter here in Boston don't even recognize this issue yet. Please help her and all those who suffer from this manmade disaster. We're concerned for her life at this point.

An otherwise healthy, young, mom in my mid-30's quickly changed within one week in early 2020 and doctors were puzzled. A few months prior I flew up over earth (I've been told a trip pilots are only allowed to do once or twice a year); and upon landing in Hong Kong I was miserably ill. The illness was not viral, or bacterial, but nothing I have felt before. Our local friends advised it was likely radiation toxicity from flying over the top of earth. It took me 3 days to recover. I was fatigued, nausea and vomiting, GI issues, headache, dizzy, the list goes on. Back to early 2020 and my mystery illness felt very similar but also more neurological with vision issues, heart palpitations and brain fog. After losing a month to crippling fatigue and scary symptoms my hair started falling out. Chicago's top doctors still stumped, I continued to fight for my life. It wasn't for a few months I learned the exact week I landed in urgent care after almost passing out in a presentation, that I learned 5G was rolled out. I never gained my previous health back and now live a life avoiding radiation, wifi, I have 5G turned off on my phone and had to move out of the city. I noticeably feel best in areas where it is not present. Most recently I recovered from a strep ear infection only to have the pain return off and on over the past six months. Once again after stumping doctors I decided to observe when the pain is flaring and when it is completely gone. After a few months of tracking this it was clear: my ear hurt constantly when I was in Chicago, occasionally home in Michigan, and not at all when I was far away with zero cell service or radiation. My ear became weak due to the strep and is now triggered by EMF. I started supplementing with Eleuthero, an adaptogen that helps reduce radiation exposure and boosts the immune system. My story aside my concern is mainly about the children. Why are these towers on top of schools where children are already strapped to devices, under fluorescent lighting all day and now microwaved? The spectrum of what is considered safe has not been thoroughly studied and we are essentially conducting one massive experiment on humanity, with our smallest being the most vulnerable. I am currently studying to be a Building Biology Advocate to implement within my existing interior design practice which this exact topic being a main driver. The earth, and human body, runs on a frequency of 7.83hz. Doctors from the 1920's discovered any frequency above the visible light spectrum (600thz) is detrimental to human health because of the damage it does on a cellular level. Aside from the unknown harm this human experiment could be causing there also seems to be little to no regulation. The US is at the top for no regulation and highest output with the last study on it's potential harm dating back to 1996. That was 3 decades ago, not to mention the advances in technology since then. Lack of research and regulation aside, there are simple methods that could be implemented to reduce the amount of exposure, such as grounding with copper to name an easy one. I would like to thank Secretary Kennedy and HHS for bringing this topic to the public for opinion and for addressing this urgent matter. I am proud to have campaigned for you for this exact reason.

To the Department of Health and Human Services: Self Monitoring Analysis Reporting Technology As a residential homeowner, I am submitting this formal public comment in response to the Request for Information (Docket ID: HHS-OASH-2026-039) regarding human exposures to Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields (RF-EMF). While federal safety standards often assume a uniform, generalized environment, the deployment of wireless smart meters directly onto residential walls introduces acute, pulsed, and continuous RF-EMF radiation into domestic living spaces. This comment addresses four critical components of harm resulting from mandatory utility smart meters: Health, Surveillance, Cost Overcharges with Opt-Out Fees, and Cyber Security. 1. Severe and Adverse Health Outcomes (Pulsed RF-EMF Radiation) Unlike cellular phones which can be powered off or placed at a distance, utility smart meters are permanently mounted to residential structures and emit high-intensity, short-duration pulses of RF radiation 24 hours a day. As reported by National health organizations, proximity to this localized radiation field has severely degraded health and quality of life, manifesting in the following documented symptoms: • Ringing in the Ears (Tinnitus): The installation of wireless smart meters corresponds with the onset of constant, high-pitched ringing and inner-ear pressure. This neurological and auditory distress persists within the home, making it impossible to find an environment free of sensory disturbance. • Disrupted Sleep and Insomnia: The continuous, erratic pulsing of the meter directly interferes with natural sleep architecture. Individuals often experience profound sleep disruption, including difficulty falling asleep, frequent nighttime awakenings, and a total loss of restorative REM sleep, leading to chronic daytime exhaustion. • Severe Headaches and Neurological Pain: Some people can experience persistent, throbbing headaches and localized neurological pressure that directly correlates with time spent inside my home. These symptoms alleviate noticeably only when traveling away from mesh-networked utility infrastructure. The cumulative biological stress of this involuntary exposure cannot be understated. HHS must establish realistic biological safety limits that account for non-thermal, pulsed, long-term residential exposures. 2. Unwarranted Domestic Surveillance and Privacy Intrusion Smart meters log electrical consumption data at granular, high-frequency intervals (often every 5 to 15 minutes). This detailed load profiling allows utilities and potentially third parties to reconstruct intimate household routines, identifying exactly when occupants wake, cook, use specific appliances, or sleep. This continuous tracking represents an unprecedented invasion of domestic privacy, turning a basic public utility into an intrusive surveillance mechanism within my own home. 3. Fabricated Cost Overcharges and Punitive Opt-Out Fees Following the deployment of digital smart meters, countless homeowners experience sudden, unexplained spikes in utility billing despite no change in actual consumption habits. Furthermore, consumers who attempt to protect their health and privacy by refusing these wireless devices are subjected to punitive 'opt-out' penalties. Homeowners are forced to choose between paying ongoing monthly fines or accepting an unwanted, radiation-emitting device attached to their personal property. 4. Vulnerable Cyber Security and Grid Infrastructure Wireless smart meters connect homes via decentralized mesh networks, creating millions of exposed endpoints across the national energy grid. This architectural vulnerability presents a severe cyber security risk. Sophisticated actors or malware can exploit these wireless connections to remotely disconnect power to individual homes, manipulate billing systems, or compromise the safety and stability of the entire regional electrical grid. Conclusion and Requested Actions The mandatory or coercive installation of pulsed RF-EMF smart meters places an unfair and hazardous burden on residential homeowners. The Department of Health and Human Services must intervene to protect public health by validating these documented symptoms, protecting privacy rights, and recommending a federally protected right to a wired, analog, or non-wireless utility infrastructure without financial penalty. Requested Actions: • Conduct a comprehensive, independent epidemiological review of chronic, non-ionizing, pulsed RF radiation from smart meters, focusing heavily on children's health. • Coordinate with state and federal utility regulators to eliminate financial penalties (opt-out fees) for homeowners opting for non-wireless utility alternatives. • Update national safety guidelines to reflect non-thermal biological impacts rather than relying solely on outdated heating-based safety thresholds.

Finally! Europe has been studying this exposure for years. The new Apple product had a higher radiation rate and only after the threat of not allowing their products to be used there, they ended up throttling the waves. Curious right? Now we have appliances sending out signals every minutes 24 hours a day, even if you ‘opt out’ which even after you do, once connected, it’s still sending a signal out looking for a connection. Why would I want a stove to have an app or need to remotely access it? The lights in our neighborhood send wireless signals, the endless home routers, TV’s, the power company meter (you can pay to opt out), cellular, 5G…. All pinging waves 24/7 without our consent or any CURRENT metrics or studies to see what effects it all has on our body cellular health. Even if we go DUMB in our home, as I’ve noted some of the waves around my house, we essentially have no way to opt out. It very well could be contributing to our countries unwellness and cellular foods and die off. It bothers me that Europe is ahead of this. Europe! Certainty we have more resources and moxie than Europe!

I have a friend who has EMR Syndrome who I work on a farm with who has EMR Syndrome (www.emrsyndrome.org). She gets arrhythmias from cell phones, WiFi, etc. She also has trouble walking and when around a lot of wireless but is able to function well on the farm in the fields planting vegetables, harvesting, etc. where there is little or no wireless. We keep our cell phones off when we are with her. When she is not around wireless, she is able to work. Please work to provide safer guidelines to prevent people from developing this very disabling condition and help those who have it. Thank you!

Dear Mr. Secretary, It is with great respect and gratitude that I am writing to you with the following information. I am 54 and have suffered from EMF toxicity since purchasing a condo in my 20s that was 100 yards from a cell phone tower. I personally experience, headaches, body aches, difficulty concentrating and sharp jolts primarily when turning on location services. I have worked for integrative wellness groups who have studied the effects of WIFI at a subatomic cellular level and our biofields since my neck surgery at age 30. I left my career in the auto industry as an Advanced Quality Engineer, Product Designer and Lead Accredited ISO Auditor to work in the integrative wellness field after 10 doctors and neck surgery did not fix my health issues. As a result of working in the integrative field, I have constructed quality management systems that comply with 21 CFR Part 111 and 211. Only until I addressed the WIFI and food did my health begin to shift positively. Future paced, I have been canceled and harassed and bullied after going into my local city council meetings to raise awareness about the hidden effects of WIFI and EMF on our health. I have also had my vehicles tampered with, my computer was hacked and I was given notice to move out of my home (that I lived in almost 10 years) after fighting the cell tower from going up right next to my home and a school. Not to mention other nefarious situations. I also know that the 5g and the high speed fiber were launched during the Covid lockdown. We need more transparency regarding the rollout of the new technologies as they have been tied to plagues such as the roll out of sonar and much more. I believe that it is also causing or complicating a rare syndrome affecting my bones that I developed during the rollout of 5g as I am keenly aware of the effects on VGCC blockers. No one should or needs to continue to suffer as there are ways to adjust the technology so as to not affect our bodies on a cellular level. Certain industries do not get a pass on safety standards but others are getting a pass, and the telecommunication industry is one of them. Why? Perhaps it is because energy is difficult to measure and is not a constant, especially with the amount being launched into our stratosphere that is constantly changing. We need new standards in addition to the rights being violated in our airspace. We deserve to vote on this as a planet. Please create a bill to restructure this approval process and implement better integration of alternative principles in healthcare to incorporate cross functional teams. The future of all life forms depends on the immediate swift action regarding the matter. It is time for full transparency. I am compassionate about this subject matter so much so, I would work for your office to assist however possible to help make these amazing technologies be safe for all people and living things in the most bureaucratic way. Even just walking along the side of the road, LED headlights are so powerful I have to avert my gaze whenever one passes or shield my eyes. When driving at night, I loath the moment I see LED headlights come around the corner. I am filled with agitation when LED high beams turn into equally blinding LED lowbeams which still hurt my eyes. When driving, I am at times faced with the option to either look away from the road so that the beams of light don't burn into my eyes blinding me further or squinting, eyes barely open, trying to focus on any visible object to orientation myself. If anyone opposes this bill and owns LED headlights. I urge you to go outside at night, turn on your headlights and sit yourself down in front of them and stare into them.

I've been feeling effects for months and know the EMFS ARE THE PROBLEM. The 5G towers need banned and disassembled! The govt knows yet still allow it to proceed! I do not consent!

There is much that can be said about this, but I will offer one real life example that I have experienced. In September, 2025 I had the smart meter removed from my house and replaced with an analog meter. I immediately felt an improvement in my house. From that day on, I slept much better and woke feeling much more rested. In March, 2026 I had three employees from the local utilities came to my door. I answered and they said they were here to install my new smart meter. I told them that they were not going to install a smart meter on my home, and explained that they not only represent an health threat, but it is known that they can cause a fire and burn your house down. They left that day, but not without making a subtle threat that they would cut off electricity to my home if I did not allow this dangerous device to my home. As it happened, I found it necessary to go to hospital a week or two later. While I was in the hospital my sister had to take over the duties to care for our elderly mother. During all of this, she was confronted with representatives from the utilities with a threat of cutting power to our house. I have not yet consulted a lawyer on this, but I am pretty sure it is illegal to turn of power to an elderly person's home, especially one who needs an oxygen machine at night. However all that turns out, now that I am home again, and their smart meter is attached, I never sleep well or wake feeling rested. I am certain that the emf and dirty electricity resulting from this attack, as I will call it, on my right to choose what technology is attached to my property, has slowed my recovery from a health issue that nearly killed me. I never sleep well, or wake rested any more since they attached the meter, and I have experienced elevated levels of stress and anxiety due, at least in part, to his toxic tech that is forced on me. I plan to pursue legal means to right this crime against me. Please put limits on the exposures of this poison. Thank you.
