I wholeheartedly urge the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to take meaningful action to reduce public exposure to wireless electromagnetic fields (EMFs) as much as possible.
Wireless infrastructure has gotten out of control. People often have little to no practical control over continual exposure to wireless emissions when cellular towers, small cells, and other transmitting equipment are installed near their homes, workplaces, schools, and public spaces. Residents should not be expected to simply accept involuntary, around-the-clock exposure without meaningful transparency, independent health review, or practical options.
In my view, wireless radiation levels and the density of wireless infrastructure have become seriously too high. The government has a responsibility to apply the precautionary principle, support truly independent research on long-term and cumulative exposure, improve public disclosure and measurement requirements, and establish stronger protections for homes, schools, hospitals, and other sensitive locations.
HHS and other federal agencies should also strongly encourage wired connectivity wherever it is practical. Fiber, Ethernet, and other wired systems can provide fast, reliable communications while reducing unnecessary wireless exposure. Federal policy, grants, building standards, and public-infrastructure programs should prioritize wired connections over defaulting to more wireless transmitters.
Please treat reducing unnecessary wireless EMF exposure as a public-health and consumer-protection priority.
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.
I am a senior citizen who is relatively informed about about these matters, but from the perspective of a concerned member of this world without a background in this field. Although I believe I have been adversely affected by these technologies, predominantly with chronic insomnia and a general feeling of malaise, I think my symptoms pale in comparison to many others. I have attended informational meetings and listened to people who were experiencing far more severe symptoms. One person had to move out of his apartment, struggled to find a suitable and affordable rental, and was staying with friends and family, which did not bring him relief. Parents were concerned for their children. My biggest concern is for the children, wildlife, and all sentient beings. These technologies are adversely impacting all creatures. Plus, the equipment and towers are an eyesore. The FCC doesn't seem to care and neither do most of our elected representatives. If they cared, they would take action and ameliorate the situation.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

I am concerned about the wireless non-ionizing radiation to which we are exposed 24 hours a day. This short-wave radiation is dangerous not only to our health, but to the health of almost all living organisms. We have not evolved to tolerate such an attack of these short-wave lengths on our bodies. The ill-effects of such exposure have been documented. They range from headaches, dizziness, sleeplessness, body aches and pains, mental distress, cancer and sometimes fatal reactions. Wildlife experience similar effects from bees and invertebates to vertebrates. The expansion of these cell towers and antennas makes it almost impossible to shield oneself from their damaging and dangerous effect. People have to abandon their homes, which cannot sold. Farm animals get very sick as well as wildlife. What is terrifying is the expansion to 6G. Children are even more vulnerable to the dangerous effects. What is the effect on a developing fetus?
It is urgent that we have complete information on electromagnetic Fields, Radiofrequency, and Wireless Radiation. The 1996 legislation gave this industry indemnity from lawsuits. They cannot be sued for the harm they do. That inability to sue needs to be changed. The power to regulate this industry needs to be given to HHS and removed from FCC. They have proven themselves to be irresponsible and dangerous. We can switch to fiber optics and safer technologies. I appreciate your concern for our well-being and for the well-being of all life. We cannot survive without a working ecology.
I am most concerned about how EMF radiation affects children. There is evidence that it impacts them much more strongly than adults and can cause various problems. They are exposed many hours a day at school, then at home with all the devices that each member of their family has in addition to routers, wifi, TVs. Please test this radiation and put limits on it. We need more oversight regarding the proliferation of cell phone mast placement, directional accuracy, power density. We shouldn't have cell phone masts that are 300 ft from classroom like we do here at the local highschool. It's not necessary and it the amount of radio frequency radiation saturated the air keeps increasing all the time, so there really is no way to accurately study possible dangers. There is research out there showing harm from this technology, but it is buried by industry funded research. People are wising up to industry and government collusion. We can be so much smarter than we are being with the placement of towers. Adopt standards like other countries in Europe where you aren't allowed to have a tower within 500 meters of a school. Make the providers dial down power density of the cell masts so that areas are not "overpowered". Also, the whole idea that non-ionizing radiation is safe, is totally laughable. Again, there is research, buried under industry funded research, that demonstrates that non-ionizing radiation is not harmless. The people understand that the big telecom companies are getting a free pass, because of lobbying and "cozy" relationships and partnerships with government entities. The Federal Communications Act of 1996 hasn't been updated for safety. We only had 2G then. There was a bogus attempt to modify it in 2021 or 2022, effectively keeping it exactly the same in regards to safety.
It's not just cell phone masts that are an issue. Wireless proliferation in classrooms is also out of control and the effects of it are unknown. Placement, power density, and directional accuracy can also come into play with wi-fi routers in the classroom, so the kids aren't in an "overpowered" environment. It's not supernatural that we are having so many neurodegenerative conditions amongst young people that cannot be explained away by saying our diagnostic tech and diagnostic capabilities have improved. Yes they have improved, but that doesn't mean that's the only reason we are seeing more cases of autism, adhd, anxiety issues. I grew up in the 80's and 90's. I knew one kid with anxiety issues. Now a majority of kids struggle with anxiety. I believe a big part of this is due to wireless radiation proliferation and unnatural light spectrum of newer lighting technologies like LEDs and older tech like fluorescent lighting. There's no intelligent reason that we have to live in an "overpowered" environment. Talk to utility engineers and RF engineers...it can be remedied.
I am a neurologist and I see patients all the time who describe their experiences with EMF's or wireless radiation exposure causing symptoms. They complain of headaches or health problems starting after a cell tower is put in near their home, or after a smart meter is put in, etc. I am extremely concerned about the effects of all of these things on our health. After nearly thirty years of explosive wireless growth, do we actually know what constant, cumulative exposure to all of this is doing to us? Cumulative exposure from dozens of wireless devices needs to be studied instead of only testing one device at a time. RF levels need to be measured in schools. Children are even more sensitive to the effects of these exposures. We should all be able to know what our actual exposure is. As a physician, I think there should be a national system for doctors to report suspected RF-related health effects.

The EMP Victims collective – Victims of Electromagnetic Pollution – has been giving a voice for nearly two years to those who suffer from EMR Syndrome.
We launched an international appeal, “EMR-S (EHS) Is a Humanitarian Emergency,” on February 14, 2024.
Today, our website, www.empvictims.org, brings together:
- More than 4,600 messages from signatories to our Appeal, reporting electromagnetic suffering around the world;
- A series of video testimonials documenting lives shattered by mobile phone masts, mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers, smart meters and other wireless devices communicating through radio frequencies, as well as by electrical and magnetic pollution, and also the indifference, or even denial, surrounding this suffering.
People affected by EMR-S syndrome are environmental sentinels who alert us to the biological effects of EMFs and to the immediate and imperative need for zons free from wireless radiation for those who are most severely affected.
We are also calling for a radical change in standards in order to protect those who are not yet suffering, particularly children and pregnant women, who are among the most vulnerable
Our Appeal has been received by institutional officials who refuse to take into account the health and environmental consequences of the exponential increase in levels of artificial EMFs.
We support Robert F. Kennedy Jr., U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, in the hope that the toxicity of electromagnetic radiation will finally be recognized and that each state will take the necessary measures to protect its population.

I can't express the enormity of my respect for you, Honorable Kennedy, and your wisdom and courage and common sense and wherewithal and vision and strength... in taking steps to call on the world to confront the matter of EMR, the technologIES that are being combined with it, and the profound risks these technologies pose for life on earth.
Along with EMR, humanity has witnessed, or helped build, construction of what appears to be a biotech foundation for dystopia.
Thank you, and God bless you, for raising hard questions that should have been confronted decades ago, as unthinking white coats, shareholders, CEOs, military controllers... raced recklessly ahead with these inventions.

See attached file(s) regarding serious drone issue, EMFS, RFS on my property of 16 acres. Need limitations on drone regulation, stricter drone rules. Drone abuse is real. Drones pressing against our bedroom windows each night in all the places I moved to, I sold my home on 4 acres because I had a serious drone issue and we knew the name of the neighbor but the Sheriff in Siler City, NC was friends with them so did not do anything. I thought I could just buy another house away from drones but the 3 homes I lived in last year they all had neighbors flying drones in my backyard in circles around me and my cat sitting in the grass, they hovered there all night long, did not budge. I don't own a gun but why do they say you are not allowed to shoot a drone down on your property but there is no law enforcing drones encroaching on my property, there needs to be a drone department at every police and Sheriff's office. No one is helping me even though for the last 12 years I submitted complaints, comments, filed reports to the local law enforcement, FAA, to the Military but no one stops it from happening. Every small and large drone needs id-identification, please do something proactive and help. See attachement regarding this.
