Smart meters

My life has changed dramatically since the advancement of 5G, 6G, Smart Meters, Wi-Fi, Smart phones, Smart TV's, Smart Water Meters, Smart Refrigerators, etc., everything is coming out SMART. I was getting sicker and sicker (2019 - 2025) living in my home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, my ears ring to the umpth degree, I cannot think straight, I'm exhausted all the time. I started researching what was making me so ill. I found out that within a three mile radius of my home there were 600 5G Towers and Antennas. I was literally being fried as if I were in a microwave oven because the radioactive frequencies from all this technology. My husband and I decided we had to move away from all the technology pulverizing us to a bad end. At 66 years old moving was very hard on us. We moved and my health has improved to a degree but, I still have 100 5G Towers and Antennas within a three mile radius of our new home. My ears still ring so loudly I can't think sometimes. My sleep is better although it is broken every night. Please help us by stopping the technology that is killing us all.

A smartmeter was installed on my house in Portland, OR in April of 2019. I did not authorize the attachment of a wireless radio transmitter on my property, that information was never presented to me. Within weeks I started having serious heart palpitations which became more and more intense as time went on. I started waking up around 3 am with my heart racing, unable to get back to sleep. I found some relief by turning off the power to my house every single night. I appealed to Pacific Power with a series of certified mail letters in order to get my analog meter back, to no avail. I soon found that my tolerance for exposure to any man made radiation was diminishing, and could not continue my business which was computer based cad drafting work. My best option was to sell my house and close my business, which is what I did. I took an early retirement and live now without electricity, and have not had any serious heart issues since I left my house with the smartmeter in Portland.

We have a digital meter on our home outside our kitchen window. It is not a smart meter but it is a wireless meter for reading purposes. When I sit at the kitchen table the digital meter is about 5 to 6 feet away on the other side of the kitchen window on the outside wall. I almost immediately start to have an upper chest pain start up and go across my entire chest. It will persist when I sit in this chair close to the wall with the digital meter on the other side. This only happens when I sit at this kitchen chair that is close to the digital meter on the outside wall. When I get up and move and walk away the pain subsides. Even if I am cooking in the kitchen I do not have this pain. It only happens when I am stationary sitting at this chair that is close to the outside meter. The EMF's from this digital meter I do feel within our home and have to be detrimental because of the symptoms I experience only when I sit close to this digital meter. No one else in the home uses this kitchen chair to sit at during the day. Please investigate the EMFs emitting from the digital meters and the smart meters.

I am a parent of an EMF sensitive kid and a sensitive person as well. In 2018 my non-verbal autistic son was running back and forth in our condo, slamming into walls. So much that his fingers were raw and bleeding and there was blood all over my house. I tested EMFs and they were off the charts. Every tiny condo had a smart meter and most of my neighbors also had hot spots. I tried mitigating, but it only helped slightly. Then I did a test, I took my son to a cabin in the middle of the woods for a week. No wifi, no smart appliances, nothing emitting EMFs. I had a different child by the end of the week. We moved. It got much better. I have personally become more sensitive to EMFs over the years. Recently my son had an appt in a building that had cell pods on the side of it. I typically look for things like that before we go, but I had forgotten. The building was square and 6 stories high, about that same width and length. The pods were on all 4 faces, mounted at the 6th floor. Our meeting was on the 5th. I told the lady i didn't know if i could make it for the entire meeting, but I would try. I usually get headaches pretty quickly being that close to towers. I was astonished to be able to make it through the meeting. When we got back down to our car, I looked in the rear view mirror at my son who was saying something to me, but I could not hear him. It was then that I realized that my tinnitus, which I have had mildly for years, was suddenly so loud that I could not hear my son speaking to me from the back seat. All from 1 hours under some cell pods. It took 9 months to get it back down to normal levels. It was horrible. I fear a cell tower going up near my home forcing me to move.

I am submitting this as a mother and an individual diagnosed with POTS, autism, and ADHD, who also suspects hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS). I am asking HHS to investigate long-term RF/EMF exposure, particularly for people with underlying biological vulnerabilities and for children. A major worsening of my health began while living in an apartment built in the 1940s. A bank of three smart meters was installed directly outside our bedroom wall. Following their installation, both my daughter and I began experiencing significant sleep problems. I developed increasingly frequent headaches, brain fog, restlessness, and a persistent feeling that I could not fully relax. I also noticed my symptoms intensifying around the broader rollout of 5G, although I cannot determine whether that technology was involved. After the smart meters were installed, mold began appearing on the walls in that area, and mushrooms grew in the ground directly in front of the meters. Mold was also identified as a problem in the apartment. The sequence of events stands out to me, but I recognize that moisture intrusion, drainage, and the age of the building could explain the fungal growth. I am not claiming the meters caused the mold or our symptoms. Rather, I question whether multiple environmental exposures are being adequately studied together rather than in isolation. Approximately three years after moving out, I was formally diagnosed with autism and ADHD. These diagnoses helped explain lifelong neurological and sensory differences, but not why my symptoms had become so much more pronounced during that period. My confirmed POTS diagnosis also raises questions about whether individuals with autonomic dysfunction might respond differently to environmental stressors. I can hear loud electrical humming associated with power infrastructure, refrigerators, and some areas near cell towers. Prolonged exposure to these environments frequently coincides with headaches and a physical sensation of being unable to relax or rest. In contrast, when spending time in forests away from concentrated electrical infrastructure, I do not experience those same sensations. I recognize that audible humming, vibration, and RF radiation are different phenomena and may have different explanations. I also experience a burning sensation specifically where my cellphone touches my hand when I hold it for an extended period. This has occurred with every phone I have owned. I cannot determine whether device heat, nerve or skin sensitivity, RF exposure, or another factor explains this recurring experience, but I believe such symptoms deserve investigation. Because of these concerns, I primarily use wired Ethernet, turn off my Wi-Fi router when not needed, keep my cellphone in airplane mode whenever possible, and avoid apartments with smart meters or choose units farther from meter banks. These are personal precautions, not evidence of causation. As a mother, I am especially concerned about pregnant women, developing fetuses, infants, and children. Their developing nervous systems, anatomical differences from adults, including skull thickness, and potentially lifelong exposure raise important questions about long-term effects. I am not asserting that these differences establish increased harm, but I question whether existing research and safety assessments adequately account for different developmental stages, newer frequencies, and cumulative exposure from multiple wireless technologies. I ask HHS to prioritize independent, long-term research using objective exposure measurements and neurological, autonomic, and sleep-related outcomes. Research should specifically examine potentially susceptible groups, including individuals with POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, connective-tissue disorders such as hEDS, mast-cell disorders, autism, and ADHD. It should also investigate possible interactions with mold and other environmental conditions. I would also like greater transparency about actual exposure levels in homes, apartments, and schools, particularly near sleeping areas and banks of smart meters, so families can make informed decisions. My personal experiences cannot establish causation, but I believe they raise legitimate questions that deserve rigorous scientific investigation. I hope HHS will examine these possibilities without prejudging the outcomes and consider whether potentially vulnerable individuals and children may be overlooked when research focuses primarily on population-wide averages. Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with multiple tickborne illnesses, and in the midst of it, I discovered I was exposed to black mold. During the last phase of recovery, I moved into a beautiful home and every evening I felt like I was having a panic attack, but it happened in cycles like every cell was being stung and vibrating. My upper diaphragm would hurt my heart would race, my thoughts would race. It would happen in 30 second intervals. It was completely strange. I knew my body well enough by then to understand that I was sensing something, but if you had told me what it was or that people could sense these things before this moment, I would’ve told you you were making it up. The landlord, being the gentleman was, listened and was curious. We realized two things. One, in the evening he was plugging his car into the home. I could tell him the moment he unplugged it and the moment he plugged it in. He began using an extension cable, and that stopped the transmission for reasons. I don’t completely understand, but he did. He’s a complete nerd and dove deep as soon as he realized my body was physically sensing the car charging. How could that be possible. But there was another piece that I was also sensing. His daughter also suffering for migraines, was sleeping 6 feet away from the automatic meter reader that was transmitting data. It began speaking with my doctor and she told me she had other patients who were dealing with similar illnesses that could also sense EMF and radiation. Because the daughter was dealing with migraines and the Landlord was curious, they had somebody come off and take the meter off the house for a few hundred dollars and instead somebody comes out every few months and reads it (I forget the name between these two whether it’s automatic or something that people have to read.) My symptoms immediately went away, and I can sleep at night and the daughter no longer has migraines after a couple of weeks. I’ve been told by my doctor that as her patients recover, they don’t detect these things the same way, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t interfering with the cellular function in her mind and according to the research she’s been sending me. If you had told me about the problems, this brought into peoples lives, I wouldn’t have thought twice. I just would’ve said that must be awful and sounds like a conspiracy theory. Except I lived it. I can’t tell you how happy I am that the government is willing to look into this. It has made moving very difficult. It has made travel very difficult. it has made finding a home that’s affordable virtually impossible. I have too many restrictions between mold exposure EMF radiation exposure. It’s something I want us to think about in regards to data centers as well as power stations and power lines. Oddly I’m nowhere near is worried about my phone and the Internet as I am these towers stations centers, and the meters that are on the homes all of which have been rolled out to be these automatic ones that are constantly sending your data. There have been a couple of counties that have made it illegal to replace them because of the amount of physical complaints going on in the community. The fact that this government is looking at both mold and EMF and tending to Lyme disease is a dream come true. I can’t thank you all enough.

I developed severe tinnitus. Different frequency in each ear. I developed dizziness and severe nausea. So bad I struggled to feed my cats. I heard very deep frequencies in the house. It felt like the room was breathing and caused my cats to growl deeply. It was so bad I checked into a psyche ward because I couldn't take it. 4 months of severe nausea. 6 days in the facility and symptoms got better. Went home. Again developed severe nausea. I had to flee my house which went into a short sale. 2 years before that, i was living with my mother,from day 1 of turning on Smart meters, the tinnitus there started. I wasn't sleeping well but my mother couldn't hear the noise. She was 80 tho. So everyone else got up and the noise of the day started. After a few months of barely sleeping, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. So, I bought said house, which I fled for an apartment. I haven't had a restful night since they forced smart meters and put towers up everywhere. 11 years and not 1 good nights sleep. Imagine night after night when you want to sleep, but even with earplugs in, it's never quiet. It isn't physical, believe me. And, it's funny how the noise in my ears is different depending where I've lived. I'm sure the physical damage will show up in time but I've aged a decade in the last year. I look 20 years older than I am. I'm convinced it killed all 3 cats. Had no health issues, then all 3 dead in a matter of months.

Has someone who has been negatively affected healthwise from exposure to EMF, along with power companies switch to smart meters, we are surrounded by this unseen toxin to our nervous system and many times have no choice but to deal with the negative neurological side effects, and also heart side effects. I am not able to work in any type of office building set up without having debilitating symptoms which has made my life very challenging to make an income. I think radio frequency sickness is the term they use in Europe and I do believe that they have programs or disabilities that are connected to it. I would like to see more regulation with the FCC and more education and ways that we can protect ourselves or eliminate this type of unseen Health toxin from our environment. On top of that I do not believe our children should be exposed to so much in their school setting I have seen schools in my state of Wisconsin that have cell phone towers on the schools and also with all the Wi-Fi frequencies and they're using laptops for a lot of their school they're in front of screens and blue light and EMF radiation their skulls are not fully formed until a certain age which also damages and has more of an effect. On top of that right now the state of Wisconsin is also fighting to keep out a 765 line that is the largest power line we would ever experience going through rural areas Farms that could cause stray voltage along with which could possibly completely shut down a dairy operation or livestock Farm because the cattle gets sick because they do not drink the water if it has a shock to it and also their bodies are undergoing to high levels of electricity. I really hope that these messages get heard it's a real problem it should be addressed and we shouldn't have to live in a world where we are surrounded by high EMF fields along with any type of stray voltage.

Emfs are dangerous to our kids and family members. we are relying on profitable businesses to tell us what is safe or not safe. we had 3 g then 4 g and now 5 g. what does that do to humans. what about smart meters on homes and businesses or wifi and wifi boosters what does this all do to human health. All of this needs more research. Earbuds and lab tops what emf do they emit and is in dangerous. please look into all of this. health before profit.

Hello. I am French, I was working for the French Doctors as a field administrator when I became ill because of waves. Sorry for my English, there might be some errors ! It was during the containment on February 2020, I was very tired with many symptoms and I decided to consult the doctor. We did a blood test and then I figured out than transaminases and ferritin were going up very quickly. As symptoms, I was having : vertigo, dizziness, night sweats, insomnia, waking up systematically at 2 a.m., chest pressure / chest tightness, joint pain, brain fog, short-term memory loss, tinnitus, low libido / decreased, chronic fatigue, erectile dysfunction, proliferation of moles, frequent urgent need to urinate, vision problem.... My doctor did not know what was going bad with me, I did not know either. A few days later, when I was passing by a based station antenna, I had an electric discharge in my head and it began to happen very frequently. That is how I discovered my sensibility to EMF waves, my doctor was useless for it. Then, I discovered that I was must contaminated in my flat in St Etienne. I could see from my flat, 1st floor, the power supply of the tramway on the same street ( a few meters of distance), I was using a wireless phone ( DECT phone), I was much speaking with my smartphone in a place where there is poor signal and smart comunicating meters where fixed for all flats of my buillding. When I realized that, the same day, I left my flat and I went to camp in the garden of some friends. Then, after a few days, I could see some symptoms evanishing like urgent need to urinate. Four weeks after, I did again a blood test and we could see that transaminases increase problem was about to be solved and ferritin was divided by 2 already. I asked my doctor if he knew some other patients with electromagnetic hypersensitivity, he said "NO". Well, as a doctor follows an averadge of 1 000 patients in France and as the estimated prevalence of Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome is 5 % according to a study dating by 2018 (with no 5G and no comunicating meters Linky in 2018), he should follow at least 50 patients having that. I was wondering, what was going on for the other patients who have not done any link between this environmental contamination and their symptoms ? Having druggs only ? I had problem finding a place where there are not so many radiofrequency electromagnetic waves as there is a clear will to destroy them. Theses areas make it possible for many people to discover the link between their health problems and waves exposure and the autority does not want that any longer. To be clear, I repeat : the Governement want to eliminate areas with very poor reception because they do not want people to make kink between health problem and waves contamination any longer. I followed a training for having an expertise on electromagnetic waves and I have all the necessary instruments to make a diagnostic (low frequency both electric and magnetic fields, dirty electricity and radiofrequency waves). I read many books about this environnemental contamination by electricity. Caregivers (doctors, nurses,…) are not trained in France and medical authorities do not want to train them. Some of them are ill but they even know ! People are now exposed from bearth to death, and even before the birth ! All the living is suffering from that : trees in front of the cell towers are dying, bees and all insects are disapearing and you can drive for miles without having an insect on your windshield, animals in French farms are sick and finally die also. There is a new way of having problems solved : when a farmer get his animals ill from a recently installed electromagnetic wave emitter (radio transmitter, wind turbine...) , he will be blamed for not caring enough the animals and they will withdrow the animals from him...even if they have been having a farm and animals for generations ! Were are destroying life on earth...it is time to wake up !
