I lost my career due to EMF. I hold a Master's degree in engineering, in my last job I worked thirteen years as a computer systems engineer at a major university. Now I live in a remote part of Arizona, the nearest cell tower is eight miles away. I had to ask a friend to enter this statement for me, as I can no loner use computers. Steen Hviid

Motor neurone disease and other illness near a cell phone mast with Tetra I am an individual consumer and neighbour to other individuals, adversely affected. From 2004 to 2007 I lived 30 metres from a cell phone mast at a fire station in the south of England, UK. The mast would have been 2G, but also included TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio), which was first utilized in emergency service communications in the early 2000s. My neighbour Anne, moved to this small new estate early in 2005. She lived 10 metres from the mast. She experienced almost immediate illness, first severe facial pain, then extremely high blood pressure before we left in 2007. She moved house in 2008, but then got breast cancer. She was then diagnosed with Parkinsons’s Disease, followed by Motor Neurone Disease of which she died in 2018. Another neighbour Chris had already been living 40 metres from the same mast before we moved to the area. The mast may have been erected in 1999. An FOI request states about this mast, “the earliest reference to a lease for a mast at this site is 14 April 1999, however, we cannot confirm that this is the date that the mast was erected”. However, before we left in 2007 Chris had already developed symptoms of Motor Neurone Disease and died a few years later. The medical practice (St. Helen’s Medical Centre, Isle of Wight), serving the area with the mast, currently has 6595 patients, 5 of whom currently have Motor Neurone Disease according to a recent FOI request. My experience of ill health after living near the mast for 3 years. At the time (2004 to 2007) I experienced chronic fatigue, through which I could work. In the third year I began to have panic attacks and stopped working. At that time, I was taking good care of my health, taking vitamin supplements (anti-oxidants) and walking by the sea, which may have offered some protection against EMFs from the mast. After I moved house in 2007, I gradually developed more symptoms, such as long bouts of flu-like illness (aching and severe fatigue) but without any respiratory issues. I was unable to work for lengthy periods. I also had severely swollen glands in my neck for weeks at a time. At this time, I had not connected my illness with EMFs and we had Wifi and DECT cordless phones in the house, though we did not have smartphones or other smart devices. I did not visit the allopathic doctor, as I did not believe they could help, other than provide medication which might deal with symptoms but not the root cause. Another ill-effect was severe temperature regulation problems. Once I became over-heated, it took very many hours to cool down. In addition, I have had sleep problems, tingling in the hands and feet, tinnitus, as well as fibromyalgia (diagnosed in 2018 in The Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine). Eventually from 2019 onwards, by which time I was fully convinced that EMFs had caused my ill-health and the death of my 2 previous neighbours, we got rid of wireless radiation at home and I have visited bio-resonance therapists, who have identified high EMFs levels in the hypothalamus area of the brain, in particular in connection with temperature regulation and sleep regulation. High EMFs were identified elsewhere in the body too - I can't be more specific. In the UK, however, NHS doctors are not trained in the adverse health effects of EMFs, but private bio-resonance therapy is very helpful. It can test the systems of the body for the presence of man-made EMFs and can regulate the system by putting in frequencies which harmonise body systems, but I sense there has been some permanent damage and this cannot fully repair itself over time, because I am almost continuously exposed to EMFs of all types, both from electricity and from the higher frequencies of wireless communications.

I live in a condo in the direct line of several 5g towers and wifi routers in the building. I can feel my head pulsing and my body buzzing when I work on my laptop in certain rooms and areas of my condo. I bought an rf meter and it will max out in those areas. I usually try to plug into the modem and run a line to a "safer" spot to work from. The bottom line is that emf and rf are definitely affecting our health and need to be toned down and regulated. I also believe they are affecting animals, plants, insects and the environment.

Sufro mucho con las antenas 5g tengo una atras de mi casa en Lima Perú y vi como la manipulaban un dia antes del encierro mundial ....luego esa misma noche se me fue el oxigeno sentia que no podia respirar tenia sensaciones electricas en el cuerpo, tinnitus ,vision borrosa , sentia que me salia corriente en la lengua y toda la conduction electrica en los dientes, temblores en el cuerpo , transtornos gastricos, dolores de cabeza , taquicardias ..y siempre era la misma hora que empezaba los sintomas 11pm y 4pm luego escuchaba pasar las ambulancias yo sabia que esa radiación es la que hacian llamar covid , y cuando salía a la calle cada antena que pasaba sentia un disparo directo al corazon , arritmias taquicardias todo por esas antenas lo que me llevo a ser reportera de la calle informar el arma ante la cual estabamos. Cuando ya habian pasado muchos meses que me sentia fatal y no podia respirar me aconsejaron ponerme descalza y amarrarme un cable de cobre a la cintura y la otra parte ponerla en el jardin..sentí como salia de mi cuerpo corriente que sonaban chispas electricas en el cable de cobre y pude sentir el alivio a los 15minutos. Me compre un medidor y vi que todas las antenas estaban en lo mas alto que registra el medidor. Ahora han instalado proyectores 5g a 80 metros de mi casa y siento tinnitus .

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a very concerned member of the public, and as a family member. I am 81 years of age, a retired organic farmer, currently leasing a WSDA licensed food processing facility where I make and sell an entire brand line of local, organic, ready-to-eat nutrient-dense foods to make America healthy again. It has been 30 years since I purchased ultra-processed foods for myself, also having dedicated the past 30 years to preserving farmland and protecting our food supply. My licensed, leased kitchen is on a 200-acre sheep farm in rural Yelm, Washington. After a lengthy community effort opposing the cell tower, Thurston, County issued a permit for a 4-G Cell Tower to be placed on this farm and in view of my kitchen (>>>>>>>>>). When faced with the prospect of the 4-G Cell Tower going live I gave serious consideration to moving my commercial kitchen but decided to stay when I realized finding a cell-tower-free location was becoming increasingly difficult to find. Now with the FCC on a fast track to install as many cell towers as possible, those fears and concerns have come true. Now I am experiencing health issues from proximity to this cell tower: frequent atypical headaches, heart arrythmia and depression. I have sought medical attention, but no definitive action has been taken. To make matters worse, there are 3 or 4 more cell towers approved or in process of being approved in our rural neighborhood which will also amplify the cell tower on my kitchen property. To make matters even worse, the cell tower recently approved on Penn Rd. is 1 mile from my daughter and her husband’s organic farm, plus 2 or 3 more potential cell tower sites in our rural neighborhood. The FCC is endeavoring to fast track multiple cell towers in our rural neighborhood we chose to live in to get away from cell towers. The prospect of her and her husband being exposed 24/7 to EMF Radiation is deeply concerning, actually really concerning that my entire community will be bombarded 24/7 with RF/EMF. I do not own or use a cell phone even while endeavoring to run a business. I have a landline for my phone, and I am hard-wired with ethernet to connect to my PC. Sounds good, except I have a Cell Tower in my back yard, and as mentioned, with symptoms of radiation exposure/sickness. As stated before, the tables need to be turned: the FCC needs to be required to prove RF/EMF are safe, NOT the other way around. As also stated before, it is beyond wrong the FCC will not allow health claims to even be considered as a factor in the decision-making process. First, I don’t know how you back-track cell towers, but they should have NEVER been approved until proven safe just like prescription medications. This is my first point. The FCC should be required to prove that EMF Radiation from cell towers is safe and at what levels, not the other way around. There was something categorically wrong with whatever agency thought this was okay, and with the public, me included, who allowed them to get away with this. Absurd and patently wrong. It’s beyond absurd that somehow citing health issue concerns became not acceptable to oppose cell towers. Doubly absurd an agency that has no expertise in public health, the FCC is in a position to make public health decisions. I am thrilled Health and Human Services has issued this RFI. My first request is for you to place public health decisions back in the hands of a public health agency, HHS.

I ask DHS and/or Secretary Robert F. Kennedy to document all types of EMF radiation across the nation by source and by strength and by frequency and by location. IThere was a map of I believe Microwave radiation showing the largest towers in the USA that displayed it was polarized backward during the night during hours that most people slept for the last couple years starting at the East Coast and running. It was red, blue, and purple. Measurements of actual EMF should be made, It seems people are just blanking out too much and can't remember even the subject that was just being discussed, and it may be more older folks but its happening to younger people in their 50s and 60s as well as 70s and 80s. It is as if everything is forgotten and can't pull up or retrieve any memory whatsoever. These EMFs have a magnetic quality to them. I have 3 keys to my ignition on my car. Two of them don't work. One had to be reprogrammed. How does it happen the keys work and then they don't work to start the car, and then the car has to have the ignition reprogrammed to start the car, and that was the entire problem. These keys work off magnetism or electricity, and exposing them to magnets might cause them to not start the car, I've been told. I don't know how my keys might have been exposed to magnets, but I'm thinking about a video showing that the largest towers in the Continental US were sending out strong microwaves that was being recorded during hours of darkness across more than half of the US as a huge pulse traveling westward with reversed polarity it was said. Why would this occur? Has the federal government investigated this? Is the federal government the cause of this? I suspect it links to memory failures that are becoming widespread in people of all ages, but more so in those over age 50. Those memory failures are sometimes described as somebody just going totally blank, unable to think of anything visually, auditory, thermal, textural, smell, taste, or in any words or language. It may be a huge brain-fog but this is not merely a foggy brain with memories appearing to be accessible through brain fog, but rather more of an absence of any thought retrieval at all.

The Chem Trails and 5G Radiation have caused a tremendous challenge and physical issue for my husband and me. We are Warren G. and Melinda R. Taylor living in Prescott, Arizona since 2016. We moved to Prescott, because, upon research, we found their air quality and Environment were classified as in the range of “best.” For four years we believed their assessment, but then 2020, during the so called COVID Pandemic, many 5G towers and Antennae were put up. We have 43 – 5G Towers and 300+ Antennae in a 3-MILE RADIUS. Did that create a challenge for us? Oh, my, YES! My husband, Warren, was 6ft. 5in. He is now 5ft. 10in. using a walker and having other issues. I am in a wheelchair with constant pain, swelling, numbness, difficulty focusing, etc. The doctors say it’s ‘age’—nice copout. They know nothing and truly don’t care to learn. I developed a rash on my arms, hands, and shoulders in the summer of 2023. The first doctor I saw was afraid to come near me. She couldn’t tell me what is was or how to get rid of it. So, my next stop was a Wellness Center. The young gentleman looked at it—touched it—he seemed totally fascinated by it. I asked, “Aren’t you afraid you may catch it?” He said that he couldn’t catch it, because it was A Biotic Environmental Stress and Sensitivity! He had seen several cases. He warned me NOT to use any Steroid-related products, because they would only exacerbate the problem. He even said that he doesn’t like to resort to antibiotics. But in this case, they were needed. The antibiotic was called CEPHALEXIN 500mg. However, he said that it would take several days before I would see or feel a change, but do not stop taking it—complete the course. I was so thrilled to get a diagnosis that I forgot to ask, “What can I do in the meantime?” He was absolutely correct about not seeing a change, so in desperation, I went to the VA ER. They wanted to give me steroids. I explained what antibiotic I was taking and that I wanted to know what type of cream I could use. Again, they wanted to give me a steroid cream. Finally, it was suggested that they would take pictures of it and send it to a lab in San Francisco, CA who dealt only with rashes. 100+ pictures were taken with the lens sitting on the worst sores. Their findings came back the following week: A Biotic Environmental Stress and Sensitivity. The antibiotic was perfect and remember to finish it. If the sores and itching persisted, I should use an OTC cream like Cetaphil. I went to our local Natural Grocer and purchased Ceramedx, which helped to calm the rash along with the antibiotic. However, the beat of the 5G towers started causing my joints to swell with a vengeance. It started in my Sacrum. I had difficulty supporting my body due to the extreme pain. The swelling continued in all my joints and my hands are numb. I can tell when the radiation from the 43 5G Towers are turned up higher. I find it difficult to comprehend why the corrections aren’t made. Apparently, the powers to be don’t care about whether humanity lives or dies. Please tear down the TOWERS! Thank you!

First, I want to thank HHS for soliciting information from the public about EMF and wireless radiation-related health and environmental issues. The federal government has failed to adequately protect the public from ever-increasing exposures to EMFs for decades, and the FCC has abdicated its duty to enact truly protective RF exposure limits. The fact that HHS is taking steps to prioritize research into the biological effects of wireless radiation, and EMFs more broadly, is a meaningful step toward addressing long overdue gaps between science and public health policy in this area. Despite thousands of peer-reviewed, published scientific studies indicating biological harm from wireless radiation exposure, even at levels below FCC exposure limits, today’s wireless environment is governed by 30-year-old exposure limits that only address short-term, thermal impacts of exposure. Meanwhile, children are literally sleeping with cell phones under their pillows at night, men are carrying cell phones in their pants pocket all day long, and massive, industrial cell towers with dozens of wireless antennas on them are installed and operational mere feet away from peoples’ homes. And have you seen the wireless antenna arrays installed atop apartment buildings in New York City? Huge antennas mere feet away from peoples’ bedroom windows! That’s insanity! (I have attached some photos of particularly egregious installations to this comment for the agency’s review.) On a more personal note, sadly, two weeks ago, my Planning Commission (the Jefferson County Planning Commission in Jefferson County, FL), approved a 195-foot-tall cell tower adjacent to my beautiful property that has been in the family for decades. The property is also located in a majority minority community near historic Baptist and Methodist rural churches. Meanwhile, a 302-foot-tall cell tower is already installed and operational just 0.82 miles from the installation site! To assert its bogus “needs” case, Verizon provided the Jefferson County Planning Commission with anonymously produced RF coverage maps. Nowhere in Verizon’s submission is there reference to the type of RF propagation model used to generate its maps or the input parameters used to generate its maps. So, we have no idea how the maps were made. Further, the maps were never verified using real-world data like drive test data or dropped-call records, so we have no idea how accurate the maps are. In essence, what Verizon provided to the County was totally useless, scientifically non-probative pieces of paper. To add insult to injury, the FCC National Broadband Map demonstrates that Verizon already provides 100% outdoor and in-vehicle coverage at and around the installation site. We know that the FCC National Broadband Map is accurate because wireless carriers are required to submit their coverage data twice a year to the FCC under penalty of perjury. In other words, Verizon is legally required to tell the federal government the truth about where its network provides coverage. If carriers lie about their coverage to the FCC, the carrier may be subjected to significant penalties, including monetary penalties and potential enforcement action affecting its FCC authorizations. Again, the map shows that Verizon has 100% coverage. And resident experiences confirm this reality. As for the Planning Commission’s decision to approve the tower, those commissioners ignored every meaningful comment submitted by the public and even an independent, expert RF engineering report explaining why the tower was totally unnecessary given the 302-foot-tall tower that is already up and running less than a mile away. As is the case in most municipalities across America, these commissioners just had no idea what they were doing and received bad advice from municipal legal counsel. Checking boxes is not good governance. Asking real questions and standing up for residents’ interests is. After single-handedly caring for my sick parents for over a decade, my dream was to build a house on this beautiful property in retirement and finally rest. Now, because of a speculative cell tower site developer called Southern Towers and Verizon’s fixed wireless business plans, that dream is utterly shattered. I will not live my final years staring at totally unnecessary industrial monstrosity while bathing in high levels of wireless radiation. Thank you for your consideration of my remarks, and please take swift action to hold the big telecom industry accountable.

Am grateful to hear that EMF exposure will be seriously researched. I have a co-worker that worked in my office for 10 years - approx 10 feet away from her desk window is a power pole with multiple large lines going into it - not an average power pole. She began having mini seizures and was diagnosed with a rare, one of a kind type of epilepsy and was asked to be a study. Within 6 months, she moved to another job and all of her symptoms went away. In the past year, a 5G tower was put up near our neighborhood. Both my husband and I have been experiencing extreme brain fog and forgetfulness and insomnia to an uncomfortable extreme. We have been otherwise healthy. Makes me wonder about the utility box that is mounted just outside of our bedroom wall. In-home wi-fi and wi-fi appliances - are there any studies on the effects of short and long-term exposure? LED light bulbs - everywhere, since incandescent have been outlawed. I have seen reports that they have a blinking pattern similar to fluorescent lights. Are there studies on this? Studies need to be done by independent health-minded agencies or non-profits. Thank you for the opportunity to submit information regarding biological effects and potential health hazards of low-level, long-term exposure to radiofrequency radiation (RFR). I am uploading here several recent, well-written RFR-related scientific documents. Each one is relevant to the ongoing campaign by many doctors and scientists worldwide to restrict mobile phone base stations (cell towers) to locations at least 300 meters away from residential homes. Currently, in most countries, telecommunications providers are allowed to site base stations almost wherever they want. Yet much scientific evidence now supports the idea that a relatively low-height "small cell" base station (such as those on lamp posts) should be no closer than 300 meters to a residence. The same body of evidence suggests that a large "macro cell" facility typically should be half a mile or more from any home.
