I am submitting my comments in response to HHSs request for information on EMFs, RF and Wireless radiation exposure.
For me personally there is a continuous hum which causes me palpitations and shakes. I did my own research and learnt about frequencies. So I cope by having electric fans on and frequency music to drown out the hum. I have to sleep with the music and fans on. My neighbour has the same issue, she called environmental health and they dismissed her noise claims and did nothing . She suffers daily. Other members of my family are hearing the hum now and we live in different areas. I worry about my grandchildren , where technology is important to them. New street lights are going up everywhere with LED bulbs adding to the hum. We have smart meters in our home and they have just updated our WIFI, so this is all adding to the problem. Something needs to be done for the future of the children.
I have been suffering with migraine headaches since wifi and also LED streetlights next to my house. It has been over 7 years now. Because of this, I have not been able to hold a 75 hour pay period for work, and have below-poverty level income. I struggle to move out of bed and when I get home from my 8 hour shift at work in the afternoon, I am stuck in bed sleeping the rest of the day due to headaches. EMF'S and RF can harm us terribly and they are with the assault they have put on us with the wifi and 5G and other unsafe utilities, including LED lighting that emit unhealthy frequencies that disrupt our body's circadian rhythms, hormones, and nervous systems. Please understand that decisions made by corporations and government on these issues are critical to our health and well-being. I have suffered over 7 years now and it is not fair. Imagine how many others are as well. I can only wait for Jesus to return to make things right here since it seems people in charge do not want to make it right by deleting these harmful infrastructures that emit these life-destroying radiations and harmful frequencies. Or will they? I have years of doctors' visits and specialists appointments that have been documented. Seems nobody cares. Please do something.
EMFs have had negative impacts in several of my family members. The most severe happened to my father in 2021.He had chromosome deletion that caused strokes, and needed regular blood transfusions because his body stopped making normal red blood cells. The last blood transfusion was contaminated with mrna vax, gave him another stroke and his heart stopped at the hospital.
My mother had a heart attack while living in the same home in 2024. Both happened within 3 years of the high school getting wires ran under their home and new infrastructure added into the ceiling of the building.
They still used a landline, but also had internet . My dad never used a cell phone, or a computer. My mom used a cell phone to text or call, but nothing else.
My experience everyday, is debilitating. Its worsened my condition, is ageing me rapidly, has thinned my hair, and my teeth fall out like im in a nightmare. An entire tooth, undamaged, coming out into my hand. One had 3 whole, undamaged roots still intact. Now my bottom front teeth are nearly coming out. A couple days ago, one did, I pushed it back in. My body hurts constantly, like I have the flu, but im not sick. I have heart palpitations often. I get lightheaded in certain areas at work. My vision has gotten so bad the past 2 years, that I almost did not get my license renewed. I get blisters on my skin if im outside for any amount of time ,without being fully covered. My hands and arms have white splotches where there is no melanin now. The brain fog is unbearable. The sleepiness is stealing my life. Ive switched all the LEDs back to incandescent my home The new LED bulbs installed at my job, called BioUp, alter circadian rhythm, and hormones, and have disrupted my menstrual cycle tremendously. I now bleed 3 weeks, stop for 1, and repeat. I’m 45 years old. And still have small children Im raising alone. I cant shop at certain stores, because by the time I check out, my brain fog is so severe and sleepiness so heavy, that im unable to safely drive home.
My children are all affected with headaches and various things.
My teenager has noticed severe cramps during school, and heavier cycles. She also experience the same stereotypical symptoms of covid, which mimic radiation illness, and has been studied in metadata analysis reports for similarities. Symptoms are loss of taste and smell, and congestion currently. She has body aches. Her mood swings are so severe the past couple weeks, that ive nearly called medics too assess her. This is all since school started Aug 24 2026.
My youngest is gaining weight rapidly, complains of headaches often, nearly everyday, and struggles to sleep.
My oldest has hypothyroid and skin rashes no one can explain, and was told he has rheumatoid arthritis at 23 yo. Hes always been very active, athletic, and lives a healthy life. .
My 2nd oldest has depression and anxiety, sleep disorder, and has had mri to check for concerns with headaches.
The current technology in LED headlights in automobiles and trucks affect my life profoundly. Due to a lifelong astigmatism in my eyes, these headlights create a white out effect when they are pointed toward me from oncoming traffic at night. It wasn't such a big issue until almost two years ago when they seemed to reach a sort of critical mass on newer vehicles.
I have seconds where I'm blinded and I can't see anything but white glare. This is happening while I'm driving a moving vehicle. I'm terrified I'll hurt someone else by not seeing a pedestrian, or having no clue where any curbs or road markings are and crashing into another vehicle. Of course, that would likely be the end of me, too. I can only drive after dark if I can plan nearly all of a route on familiar roadways with no oncoming traffic, like service roads or freeways.
The older halogen headlights never did this, and I mostly don't drive after dark now. My life is so much more restricted now. It's limiting and depressing. I know there are a lot of people with astigmatism who must be similarly affected.
As I understand it, 21 U.S.C. 360ii requires the FDA to establish and maintain a liaison with NHTSA to test and evaluate LED headlights for their impacts on human health. Isolation, depression, and possibly crashing and loosing our lives are certainly impacts on our health.
There has to be some solution, some way to modify the existing headlights, such as a coating or applied film, that mitigates the effects of what are like a multitude of tiny reflecting mirrors. I propose that this is an urgent matter worthy of research and efforts toward a way to make LED headlights safer.
The LED headlights are so bright that they are a danger to the drivers of the opposing cars. The lights are blinding and create a situation where you may not even see a pedestrian crossing the street. Many times I have to avert my eyes from the road because of the intensity of the lights which creates a dangerous driving environment. There needs to be a regulation that reduces the lumens coming from the headlights.
Additionally the police cars, ambulances and firetrucks also have blinding lights when activated. This is insane because you could easily look away and hit another car or drive off the road. Even the lights in some parking lots are so bright that they hurt my eyes.
The government needs to take action and protect the citizens from this light tsunami!
Please ban blinding LED head lights.
Very dangerous, I have to cover my eyes. Lights from the car behind me, shinning under the car in front is confusing.
The lights are to blue.
Many people are blinded by the lights and can't see after the car passes.
Give law enforcement tools to ticket cars with blinding head lights

This is my second comment but an important one.
Very Important: Please look into laws that would make every smart device that emits a wireless signal to have a button to turn it off, for people who want to opt out. It is increasingly hard to find appliances anymore that do not put out a signal. This should be the case for cars as well.
Also, no one should have to pay much extra to opt out of smart meters (from power company), and perhaps it should even be outlawed, being that they put out substantial pulses of energy. The digital ones also put out 'dirty electricity'; people should be able to request analog meters (not just non-emitting). Please don't leave out 'dirty electricity' from your studies, which can come from that, as well as LED light bulbs (cannot even find halogen bulbs in stores anymore), fiberoptic cable, or adapter boxes on things plugged into walls like chargers. There should be standards to reduce 'dirty electricity'.

Get rid of smart meters on residential homes, they emit emfs, and radio frequencies, and the utility companies charge and opt out fee, that is paid monthly comma also led lights, are bad for our health along with their street lights
I can't stand the bright white headlights when driving on the road at night. They are blinding. I have to squint and look at the line on the shoulder to make sure I can see a small part of the road. People have gotten into accidents because manufacturers are making them bright blue white. Research shows it can damage our retina and that it negatively impacts wildlife and our environment upon which we all depend to survive. For anyone who drives at night this is dangerous. I can't imagine how dangerous it would be for someone who drives hundreds of miles a week at night as part of their night job. My suggestion for the current cars on the road is to require them to put a vinyl amber wrap on them to prevent the glare. Automobiles in production should be required to insert headlights that have a warm amber color closer to the old headlight colors that are not so harsh on eyes or the environment. If implementing this white blue light is about the concern for being able to see further, then we have just negated that effect by causing dangerous blinding of oncoming traffic. NOT SAFE. Not worth risking our lives to see a little further ahead.
I live on a residential back street in a small, historic, rural town. Behind us is a farmer's field. The half of our street that is located in a different township has no streetlighting. Our half of the street is lit up like a stadium. This has been an ongoing situation since November 2025 regarding health and safety concerns with the installation of 4000K bright blue, unshielded LED streetlights on and into my home (and other households'). The Council and MetEd's plan to install them throughout the Borough, despite protests from multiple households. The single LED placed across the street from my home that started this whole journey was switched out to an unshielded high pressure sodium after complaints by numerous households and press involvement. They told me that this was temporary because 3000K LED unshielded lighting will be installed throughout the Borough so I should get used to it. I have photographs of the LED light, including on and in my home. It is dangerous to drive under these blue LEDs. You cannot see out of your car windows nor the backup camera. There is so much glare. It is an absolutely unbearable light that is the visual equivalent of loud music being played all night long. I and others in my town have complained multiple times to local government, The PA Public Utility Commission, and the PA Human Relations Committee, as local government has refused to stop it, refuses to shield it, and it impacts every aspect of my life, especially my sleep. The power company does not care and has lied to other municipalities (like Easton, PA) about how bright and disruptive the lights are. I live in terror of the bright blue light returning at any time. It is an illegal public nuisance, and local government officials told me to just sue them. We have an online petition and a written petition. Please ban these horrible lights now. We should have energy efficient Low Pressure Sodium bulbs or at least orange LEDs (2000K or less) that are shielded, so they light the public areas only, and not onto and into our properties. There are people, including children, in our town who get seizures from LED lights. The local government knows and does not care. These LED lights are specifically not approved for residential areas. The photos are of my street and home under the blue-rich LED light. You can see the horrible glare that the light has from the street. Blackout blinds and curtains do not stop the light from coming into our homes. These LED lights are ruining our lives. No one should have to go through what we are going through. Please ban them from public street-lighting NOW!!!!!
