Electromagnetic sensitivity

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. As someone who is sensitive to wireless radiation, I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

I became extremely sensitive to EMF after PGE put a cellular smart meter on my house. I lost my high paying job, my house and cannot be near cell towers or cell phones anymore. It completely destroyed my life. Regulations have to be put into place. Studies have to be acted on. Corporations cannot be allowed to destroy us.

When a smart meter was installed on my house, without my permission or knowledge, my life of EMF/RF sensitivity began. I had to move my bedroom as the smart meter was on the master bedroom side of the house. I was experiencing headaches, brain fog, rashes, severe fatigue and insomnia. Moving my bedroom helped somewhat initially, but then I began experiencing headaches whenever I put my phone to my head. My head would throb for hours. Exhaustion still remained an ongoing issue as well and I had to research ways to relieve the insomnia. Even after mitigating the insomnia, I still continued to suffer from exhaustion and headaches. Then I started experiencing issues when I was near large cell towers for an extended period of time and then it seemed like it was happening more and more often. When the headaches and brain fog would strike, I would look around the area as we left the wedding or event ect. and I would always be able to locate a large tower. This was years before anyone acknowledged this was an issue, so I had to do the research on my own and do everything in my power to mitigate my exposure and figure out how to get relief from the symptoms. I also invested in numerous products to help mitigate the exposure. Some seemed help somewhat, some were a waste of money. The more investigation I did, the more science I found showing that EMF/RF sensitivity is a real and valid issue and that many suffer from it, many times not even knowing that is what is the cause. It is frustrating to me that I am being exposed more and more each passing year, without my consent and without any regulations.

My name is and I live in New Jersey. I am a former nurse and 67 years old. I was diagnosed with EHS environmental hypersensitivity in 2018 when I moved into a rental after selling my house. Within less than two days I was falling over from dizziness bruised four ribs couldn’t swallow. I was crying filled with anxiety and depression. When two days prior I was perfectly fine. Then more symptoms started appearing, and then I knew that I was being exposed to something. This was not normal and I went to my integrative who had diagnosed me a few years prior with mold illness. A rattle off 17 symptoms and he asked me if I had a smart meter on the building and I said what is that? I’ve never heard of one and I had no idea what it was and he explained and he said go back there and take a look and see if you have one in sure enough I did. I bought a tri meter to test the radiation and I have the videos of it and times out can’t even measure the radiation level. It’s so high. Every meter. Then I came inside to check the dirty energy coming out of the sockets and the radiation is blaring out of them too. Now I’ve got the refrigerator. That’s a smart. I have to have all these boards the circuit boards removed from my appliances because you’re all a bunch of criminals and you’re violating our constitutional rights and we don’t want any part of this nonsense and you’re trying to shove it down our throats. What we’re gonna shove it right back down your throat so that you can choke just as we’re choking. So then they put a smart meter in my house my water authority in my township without my permission and I have opt out for a traditional analog. They’re refusing to give me one and instead they’re threatening to call outreach and social services to do a fully evaluation and intervention so they’d rather lock me up then address the fact that the smart meter they placed in my house now a year and a half ago is caused permanent damage to my hands. I have CRPS the most painful disease known to medicine no cure no treatment so they’ve caused permanent disability in these hands now with that meter and they’ve committed a bias crime because they were in receipt of my doctors letters from 23 when I moved in along with all the medical documentation of the harms that come to people when they’re exposed to this radiation and that there’s never been long-term safety studies of 10 to 15 years because or lousy government, all of you three letter agencies, you know what you’re doing and by refusing to do a long-term safety study, which was demanded of you in 2012 which of course you ignored and then you just threw them on all the houses and businesses just sick and everybody because you knew if you did the long-term safety studies it would prove that they were highly unsafe and that they were causing heart attack strokes, cancer‘s birth defects, auto immunity, which is not the body attacking itself. That’s another lie. The medical community got wrong and so anyway it’s the same thing as cannabis you got away with saying there was no medical benefit yeah because you didn’t do the studies so that wasn’t a lie was it? But you harmed a lot of people by keeping it and illegal drug in the same class with heroin when nobody’s ever died or been harmed from cannabis and you also took out patterns in the 60s in the 70s on different properties within the cannabis plant now why would you have done that if there was no medical benefit? That’s fraud corruption. But you put veterans in jail for being picked up in the possession of one joint. One cannabis joint and a brave man that fought for this country the wars you got us into intentionally so you could make money you sacrifice our good decent men and women and then you verify them when they come home you won’t give them support you won’t give me even a small little tiny house and you give them the lousiest medical care that there is on the planet. Thank you veterans for doing the job that nobody else would do and now we’re gonna disrespect you on your way back home. These things are not safe and I’m living the proof because my blood pressure from this smart meter they put in my house a little over a year ago is spiking my BP up to 150/110 and like BP along with the permanent damage to my hands through the nervous system, which all this dirty energy is known to constantly irritate and that’s why I can’t have them in her on my house and so my township is in violation of my rights, the law, a whole bunch of laws, HUD and more so where is my free lawyer paid for my tax money. I’m sick of suffering because if you’re a corruption. Everybody’s sick from these meters that’s your answer. The majority of people want these off their houses that’s your answer. Just look at the medical documentation of what this stuff does you don’t need to be taking surveys you’re supposed to be doing your job and these things never should’ve been!

I am RF sensitive. RF makes it impossible for me to maintain conversation because I can't connect the dots in the flow of conversation and I cannot recall and verbalize the responses I know I want to make. It makes my brain feel like I've imbibed too much alcohol; it makes my brain feelslike mud, probably because the radiation is opening my calcium channes, flooding calcium into the cell and intoxicating them. I believe, like tobacco smoke, cell phones should not be used in public places. Neither should wi-fi. I believe medical establishments should disallow same. The science is compelling when you remove Big Tech's tobacco science. Do your job to protect Americans.

EMF sensitivity has affected my health in several ways- it has created more inflammation in my body-often causing my joints to swell and also triggering my autoimmune response. It makes me realy tired, and at times nausous and always unwell. It lowers my immune response and makes me more susceptible to viruses and infections, lowering my immunity overall.

i, as a man vigorously subjected to routine misidentification as a voluntary participant in the legal system and vigorously denied justice, obstructed, targeted, and harmed all my life by agents both known and unknown (more of the latter than the former) have been tormented for much of my life through various programs and openly denied my inheritance to escape such programs in a peaceful manner. i have experienced a fully weaponized judiciary, a fully weaponized commerce, and a fully weaponized data access system, designed to deceive, mislead, defraud, and to close every door to any hope of keeping the sacred covenant with the creator of the heavens and the earth with whom i am covenanted after baptism in water and his sacred spirit. one of the myriad weapons deployed against me is wireless technology of every kind and sort, as when i was young and forcibly subjected to clandestine training as a "druidic advisor to the council of thirteen" (i later found out what that was) prior to yahuah elohim instructing me to "tell those witches 'this one is mine, leave him in peace'", which i did, and they did not do, i found out that i am highly sensitive to energy fields. this sensitivity has persisted all my life and i can actively feel wifi, bluetooth, and cellular signals, and in some cases other classes of signals as well. these cause me inflammation, sleep disturbances, brain fog, lethargy, weakness, nausea, and a myriad of other problems. i am owed a lifetime's worth of damages as a result but there is no unbiased court of competent jurisdiction that can render a judgment that will be respected as all united states courts are fully weaponized and profit-driven. if i were to get any remedy, the judge would be court-martialed and would die as a result. i openly rebuke the birth registration as a weaponized fraud (which it is) and the social security number as a weaponized fraud (which it is) and that i have never consented to either, and have sent various notices and engaged in various attempts to eliminate the "name of the beast" and "number of the beast" which are mentioned in the thirteenth chapter of the book of revelation, but none of your fully weaponized legal personnel will ever listen, as it is in their financial interest to perpetuate the fully weaponized fraud that enables them to bypass things like the nuremberg code and the constitutions that were instituted to protect me. i have been victimized all my life by various methods of torture, one of which being the "targeted individual program", simply because i am a saint and am sensitive to the spirit and to electromagnetics and other energies. they do love their unauthorized experimentation so very much, after all, and will never give a man back the name or inheritance that they stole. doing so would cut into their non-consenting medical experiment victims and their illicit profits and would require them to actually honor their long-standing binding contracts. i have absolutely no faith or trust whatsoever in the government besides the absolute conviction that the government is an organized terrorist network of multilevel ponzi schemes designed to usurp everyone and everything and to securitize slavery and torture in every way conceivable while presenting the illusion of authority that the government was never initially given and could never grant to themselves over the passage of time (but they have certainly tried, with their fraudulent fourteenth amendment and other amendments thereafter, as some few examples). i am wholly disgusted with everything going on but it all points to a larger conspiracy referred to as "magnum opus" whereby an extinction of all life is intended by gradual decay through weaponization of everything possible, from dna modification by microwave to neurological and emotive manipulation by microwave to outright murder by microwave and dumping of poisons and nanotechnology on people to be breathed in and poisoning the food and water with various compounds and the "entertainment death" by ontological warfare and complete chemical castration and destruction of all peoples, with electromagnetic weapons, or "wireless technologies", being one of the various facets by which this is done. to my mind, there is no hope left but to gather the saints to a secure location while the world tears itself apart, as there is absolutely no hope that any government will ever act in honor or good faith, and this is a well-discerned notion deeply rooted in over forty years of unpleasant life as a direct result of consistent, vigorous, earnest bad faith with extreme malice aforethought at the behest of an organized plutocratic oligarchy running a multilevel ponzi scheme out of interlocking trust directorates and ponzi schemes calling themselves governments while not being a governing body at all. even so, here is my "comment" against such routine atrocities and acts of high treason not only against the people but against their creator as well.

Hello: We reside in Fort Lauderdale Florida. This is in regard to my own Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome. Because I was unable to sleep for six months, we decided to disconnect the wifi at night. When we found that helpful we changed to ATT so now our home is completely hard wired. We had Florida Power and Light remove our Smart Meter. I purchased 2 gallons of EMF shielding paint for the bedroom, as we pick up the neighbor signals. I bought faraday cloth for the sliding glass door. I sewed a faraday cloth hoodie apron for when we travel and stay in hotels. Three years ago I discovered I also experience a strong vertigo when we shop Office Depot. It was also happening at church on Sundays so we had to change churches. The vertigo starts about 10 to 15 minutes of entering the building and takes just as long to stop when we depart. That is my story. It is a good thing I am retired because it would not be possible to work in a building when the vertigo is as strong as it has been.

I am submitting this comment as someone who has experienced a profound sensitivity to electromagnetic environments for many years. I often describe myself as a “canary”—someone whose nervous system seems to register environmental changes more intensely or earlier than the people around me. Living this way has been incredibly difficult. Again and again, people who experience the world more viscerally are told that what we are noticing is imaginary, psychological, or simply “in our heads.” I believe there is an important lesson in listening to the canaries rather than dismissing them. I am not asking regulators to accept every interpretation of electromagnetic sensitivity as established scientific fact. I am asking for serious, independent investigation into the possibility that our rapidly increasing exposure to human-generated electromagnetic fields may have biological consequences that we do not yet fully understand. The question should not only be, “Can we prove that EMFs cause a particular disease?” We should also be asking: What are the cumulative effects of living, sleeping, working, and raising children in environments saturated with increasingly complex electromagnetic signals? Are there populations who are more sensitive? Are there biological effects that occur below the thresholds currently used to define harm? And are our existing standards adequately accounting for long-term, continuous exposure rather than only acute thermal effects? My own experience has led me to think about this in terms of the body’s relationship with its electromagnetic environment. Everything in the human body is ultimately physical, biochemical, electrical, and energetic. Our nervous system, brain, heart, cellular signaling, and biological rhythms all depend upon extraordinarily precise electrical and electromagnetic processes. From a more holistic perspective, I also understand health as a state of coherence and harmony—with our bodies, with one another, and with the natural electromagnetic environment in which human beings evolved. Modern technology has introduced electromagnetic frequencies and patterns of exposure on a scale and continuity that are profoundly different from the environments in which our biology developed. I believe we should be humble about what we may not yet understand about that interaction. For people like me, this is not an abstract debate. When my environment changes, I can experience changes in my ability to rest, regulate, concentrate, and feel at ease in my own body. Whether the eventual scientific explanation validates my interpretation or reveals something different, the experience itself is real and deserves investigation rather than ridicule. And I believe this issue extends far beyond people who identify as electromagnetically sensitive. The absence of an obvious immediate sensation does not necessarily mean the absence of a biological effect. Many environmental exposures have historically been understood only after years of research. The people who notice something first are not necessarily the people who are imagining it; sometimes they are simply the people whose systems are giving an earlier signal. I therefore urge the government to support rigorous, independent, transparent research into the biological effects of both existing and emerging electromagnetic technologies, including long-term and cumulative exposure. Research should consider neurological, cardiovascular, cellular, reproductive, sleep, endocrine, and other potential effects, as well as individual differences in sensitivity. Most importantly, I hope we can create a regulatory environment that does not require people to become sick enough—or scientifically convenient enough—to deserve protection. We have an opportunity to listen to the canaries. Please take seriously the people who are telling you that something in their environment feels different. Investigate it. Measure it. Study it without predetermined conclusions. And allow the science to lead us toward technologies and environments that support human health rather than assuming that everything technologically possible is automatically biologically compatible. Since the electric company installed a smart meter on my neighbor's house I can no longer sit on my couch without getting la headache with light headedness. I went to my doctor and he diagnosed that I was sensitive to electromagnetic radiation. The smart meter on my neighbor's garage is aimed at the couch in my living room. I have to avoid that area to keep from getting symptoms. I am the president of the Chemical Sensitivity Disorders Association. Many members of my group report getting symptoms from the electromagnetic pollution they encounter. Housing is a big problem for people with electromagnetic sensitivities, apartment buildings are especially troublesome.
