An experienced network technician reports no health problems from routine exposure, distinguishes extreme…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a professional Network Technician who has been in the IT Industry for well over 20 years, I find the DHHS regulations to be quite frankly absurd. I have been exposed to EMF, RF and Wireless Radiation since birth and have yet to experience any of the health related issues, you are expressing. Humans have been exposed to EMF and RF radiations including at the 5GHz frequency for centuries. Much of these RF and EMF exposures come from extraterrestrial sources. Yet, there has never been a documented case of increased illness or injury as a result. In addition to extraterrestrial sources, I have been EMF and RF exposed to High Voltage Power Lines, Wireless Communication Devices, Satellite Communication Devices, Cell Phones, Florescent and Halogen light sources, CRT, Plasma, LCD, and LED Televisions and monitors, just to name a few. At no point did I ever feel my life was in danger with this level of exposure. Admittedly, Exposure to RF radiation in extreme an extreme dosage can cause harm. But these situations are the exception, and not the rule. Scientific research on typical exposure shown no adverse affects. Any claims by a person asserting sensitivity to RF Radiation under normal operating conditions tend to see those claims fall apart under rigorous study, meaning the effects are normally a placebo effect than reality. Such exercises are nothing but a waste of time and taxpayer money on pseudoscience. Instead, I believe it would benefit the nation to explore ways to make helthcare less expensive, hold insurance, pharmaceutical companies, and for-profit hospitals accountable for putting shareholder profits over patients, and research into health crisis. such as the measles we are currently facing.

The subject of my entry: I understand that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), headed by The Honourable Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and the U.S. Federal Communication Commission (FCC), both are seeking public input on electromagnetic fields and wireless radiation. --- In my entry, I want to focus on the need for support to persons with the functional impairment electrohypersensitivity under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (aka the UN Special Human Rights Act for Persons with Functional Impairments).

Criticizes thermal limits, describes tinnitus varying with location, raises reproductive and neurological…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
The present state of regulation address only short term thermal effects from RF radiation. Non-thermal and long term effects are not addressed. However when they occur they are actually short term. Symptoms may vary from potentially causing tumor, by different effects from braking DNA, over oxidative stress that cause many sorts of disturbances. Further is associated to EHS or electro hypersensitivity syndrome, such as headaches, memory loss, tinnitus, problems of concentration, sleeping disorder, anxiety, depression and the other variety of symptoms. The last but not least is the impact on fertility. Studies on moused have indicated strong correlation. My personal opinion is when located in the large city on strong infrastructure, ther use to be tinnitus, when going to the small place on the seaside with lower exposure levels, tinnitus release significantly. The present sate of limits is to ICNIRP up to 10 W/m2 power flux for the general population. However that level is the limit for thermal effects, the non thermal appear at much lower levels in extended time of exposure, such as commonly considered levels over 10 microW/m2. That it difference in exposure of million times under official limits or 60 dB. Recommended levels by independet science are even lower and are considered additionally 100 times or 20dB lower. That may be close to levels that existed before massive base stations deployment, when only TV transmitters were available. Still todays exposure levels to limits are 100 million billions times higher then the natural radio frequency background levels or up 170 dB higher as to some research. That does not match the evolutionary adaptation. The main problem are mobile phone base stations as they present non-stop exposure and they are not a matter of personal choice. On the other hand mobile phones, WI-FI or DECT phones can present some higher levels of exposure on short distance, but they are the matter of personal choice and time of exposure could be chosen on functional preference. As to deployment of wi-fi for schools it is important to note that they cause in vicinity the same radiation as base stations on about 50 meters distance. Many studies on base stations like those done in Minas Gerais Brazil, in the Naila Germany that effects are most dominant in distances up to 500 meters and they even indicated correlation of symptoms by the distance. So the question is how could modern technology like those radiation emitters improve the quality of life if it cause insomnia, tinnitus, depression, sleeping disturbance or any other more severe diseases? If only the infertility rates are increase it can endanger national security as to the possible loss of domestic population. The solution to the problem is to use landlines and cable internet, as all functions can be done, even better, as optical internet is much safer and more reliable then wireless also the classic cable phone instead of mobile or DECT as it completely solves the functional need at any stationary location. Wireless communication makes sense only for airplanes, ships and satellites as the only option. In the car mobile phones are not allowed for use. The other question is where is such emergency that the average person should be in access at any moment? The average person is not ambulance, fireman or police for a need to instant access. Additionally constant exposure to information and access is related to significant stress and reduction in mental health, besides the radiation. As the degraded health can no more be purchased for money, the trade of health for money by the use of radiation exposure devices is not a good deal. They are prone to cause addiction, stress, loss of personal communication, physical and mental health degradation, there is no justification for its use, as all the rational jobs can be done on desktop computers, classic phone and landline internet, without radiation exposure. Costs of health in long term can significantly increase and the trick used by agencies is there is no evidence for side effects in the short term as from those protect the regulation. Actually the regulation protects industry from law suites rather then people from the radiation effects. In the attachement the excellent and wide coverage study from the Austrian health department and Austrian medical chamber, by Dr. Oberfeld, the great exert on environment and independent radiation research. In hope for better public education on risks from radiation exposure and removal of radiation exposure sources. Kind regards, Robert Markusic, ing.med.radiology & mag.oec.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am a Ph.D. researcher with two decades of expertise in wireless technologies and IoT. Ironically, two decades after dedicating my research to advancing these very technologies, I have become profoundly disabled by them. I now suffer from severe Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS), an environmentally acquired illness that has forced me to become virtually homebound, stalling my career and eliminating my ability even to participate in social and volunteer work. (note: My comment is longer than the 5000 word limit. So please see all my comments in the attached file. Thank you.)

Reports new EMF sensitivity and neurological symptoms around the period of COVID and 5G deployment, incon…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Hello, ever since the 5G rollout, I have experienced neurological issues that I never had before. Tingling in my head, limbs ect. I have become very sensitive to EMFs and never had an issue before. I have had full MRI scans for MS and beyond and I keep getting told that my nervous symptom issues are unexplainable. It took me over 6 months to get into a neurologist in my area with many clinics taking no new patients. My nervous system constantly feels in overdrive. I never had these issues before COVID or the 5G rollout. Sincerely, a 37 year old active female struggling with environmental challenges.

Reports clinician-diagnosed electromagnetic radiation syndrome, headaches and insomnia, describes tower a…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have suffered from Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome for over 6 years. It was diagnosed by two clinicians. Our home is near a cell tower and we had to take significant measures to remediate our exposure not only to the cell towers, but also to our exposure to all the smart meters in our neighborhood. We have no WIFI in our house and painted the walls in our bedrooms to block the radiation coming through. It gave me headaches, insomnia and aggravated my Lyme disease. It's especially bad inside a newer car with all kinds of smart devices. I was made aware of more people who had the same issue and became an EMF Consultant. I have clients who suffered horribly from their exposure, and many didn't have the financial resources needed to mitigate the problem. This is a serious problem. Our government agencies must do their due diligence to protect the people from this ubiquitous environmental toxin.

A veteran describes sensitivity and disabling migraines following a blast injury, reports difficulty obta…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am an army veteran. While I was standing in front of a row of radios fixing them in the battalion TOC, a rocket hit in the parking lot out front. I was standing on the elevated part of the room where radio operators sit but I was standing. People below me were all sitting. Because I was standing I was above the sand bags that were in the windows. When the blast came through while it did not knock me out I felt the force of it go through me. But as no one else seemed affected I assumed I was fine other than having a headache for which I went to the medic and got medicine for. How this is related to frequencies is that I have over the years since this event became very sensitive to frequencies. To the extent where I am now disabled. The VA does not recognize this as the cause but as they will not hear me over the past 20 years I have had to learn ways to deal with the symptoms. My spouse and I have tracked what makes the symptoms worse. Frequencies seem to really set it off. When this happens it causes migraines, dizziness, nausea sometimes vomiting and acute sensitivity to everything. Saw noises set it off. When it’s a cloudy day high pressure that sets it off. Going to stores or indoor places of any kind that has a lot of floresent or led lights sets it off. I have had to avoid these places that includes church because of it. My hope is that by this inquiry these concerns will be looked into. I’d be glad to help.

Reports longstanding EMF sensitivity, neurological and cardiac symptoms and a cancer history, describes e…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
How I became EMF sensitive. I am 73 years old and I think, I was in my early 30's when my husband got us a new phone. He was so amazed, he could walk out of our apartment onto the sidewalk and still could talk and be heard on the other end. We keep this phone in our bedroom unfortunately. I learned many years later, the body repairs itself when we sleep. So, this phone was not letting us repair our bodies during the night. I remember, I had an one hour conversation on that phone and my head was hot and I was a bit disoriented. I made a note to myself, not to use that phone for long calls etc. I got a job working the front desk of a chiropractors office. For 13 years I sat in front of a computer, working 8 hours a day. At one point I got divorced and was walking through a Farmer's Market and this women had a cellphone. They used to have a big long antenna and she was moving her head up and down, left and right and I could feel the antenna energy, cutting through my head. You can immage, I was trying to distance myself from this lady. I eventually moved from Los Angeles to Norwalk California and moved into a mobile home. By this I was about 51 years old. Mobile homes are kind of close to each other and for some reason, I didn't like sleeping in the bed room. I preferred sleeping on the couch in the living room, against a wall, that had a switch, that turned of the energy from the electric socket. During this time, I was working out of my home and was on the computer a lot, plus I had a telephone and internet access through a satelite dish. During this time, I had a basal cell and saw a macrobiotic couselor who cured herself from a very heavy cancer. She recommended a few things to me: get rid of the satelite dish, spend less time on the compure and follow her macrobiotic diet. It took 1 year and 7 months but the basal cell was no longer cancerous. I also, looked out my bedroom window and I had 6 satelite dishes on the corner of each mobile home: my mobile home, my right neifhbor, across of him/ my right, the Mobile home directly across from me, the mobile home to my left kitty corner from me and the one to my left. That is WAY TO MUCH EXPOSURE. No wonder I didn't like sleeping in my bed room. So, I stop using Satelites for entertainment etc. At 61 I moved to Albuquerque New Mexico and they are one the top 7 states for cellphones towers. When I was 62 years I moved into a cooperative apartment complex. After 3 montjhs I started having symtoms: could only get 2 hours of sleep, I was having moments: I would loose consciousness for a few seconds, heart palpations, headaches that were very painful: like a knife was cutting through my head, tinnitus, skin rashes. Luckily I figured out what was happening to me and took steps to lower my exposure to EMF's. So, I went to a senior center and as I got closer to it, I noticed it had a cellphone tower directly across from the senior center. As I walked in, I over heard a conversation: Mary passed out at the senior center, they took her to the hospital and the doctors couldn't figure out why she passed out. I thought, I better not stay here to long, so I signed up for a class and left. As I walked out side, this cellphone tower was full of discs pointing in all directions and Up and down. I walked across the intersection, to stay away from the old cellphone tower and I was now on the sidewalk and the cellphone tower was across from me and I passed out. I must have looked my a drunk and fortunately I caught myself befroe I hit the grown. I thought, went I get home, I am going to do some research on EMF sensitivity. I learned that my symptoms were probably from EMF's and it recommended to move one's bed at least 5 feet away from the circuit breakers in my apartment. My bed was directly on the other side of were the curcuit breaker was. I 3 days, all my symstoms went a way except of the tinnitus. I was still getting occasional powerful headaches went I took a bus: which had wifi. I called comcast and asked them to turn off the wifi on the modum they gave me. 3 years later, I found out eventually that comcast not only turned the wifi back on each month when they rebooted their system but they also had a community wifi. So I was being double exposed. Not knowing this, I also never turned the comcast modem off and slept withing 5 feet of the modem. So, I was lucky, I caught it before permanent damage was done. This is how I live now: no refrigerator, not hot water tank, turned off all circuit breakers except for electric oven and kitchen electric sockets. I have no more symptoms. Except I have had moments: they were do some work through Albuquerque, to lay foundations for fiber optics Check out Great risk for EU, U.S. and International Health! Submits a passage labeled an AI overview discussing uncertain evidence alongside cancer, neurological, re…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as someone concerned about the health effects of wireless radiation as well as the effects on the environment. AI Overview: Wireless devices emit low-intensity radiofrequency (RF) radiation (a form of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields) to transmit data. Major health organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration state that current scientific evidence does not conclusively prove that low-level RF exposure causes adverse health effects or cancer. However, independent researchers, public health groups, and the International Agency for Research on Cancer note several potential and debated risks. Main Health Risks and Studies • Carcinogen Classification: The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as a Group 2B "possible carcinogen" based on limited evidence in humans and animal studies linking heavy, long-term cell phone use to certain brain tumors (such as malignant gliomas and non-malignant acoustic neuromas). • Animal Studies & DNA Damage: The U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) found clear evidence of heart tumors (schwannomas) and some evidence of brain and adrenal gland tumors in male rats exposed to high levels of cell phone RF radiation, along with signs of cellular DNA damage. • Oxidative Stress: A large portion of peer-reviewed laboratory studies indicate that low-intensity RF radiation can trigger oxidative stress (an imbalance of free radicals and antioxidants), which may lead to cellular or tissue inflammation and disrupted cell signaling. • Symptom Reports: Some individuals report physiological symptoms—such as headaches, chronic fatigue, sleep disturbances, agitation, and tinnitus—that they attribute to close or prolonged exposure to mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers, and cellular base stations, though conditions like "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" are not formally recognized by mainstream health consensus as directly caused by EMF fields. • Reproductive & Developmental Concerns: Certain studies point to potential drops in sperm count and motility from carrying phones in pants pockets, as well as possible developmental or behavioral impacts tied to early-life exposure. Vulnerable Populations • Children and Pregnant Women: Children absorb proportionally higher amounts of RF radiation into their brain tissue and bone marrow than adults because they have thinner skulls, smaller head sizes, and higher tissue water content. I hope that HHS will use this opportunity to create a comprehensive report on the current medical, biological, and public health knowledge regarding these effects and take action on the findings. Please consider the experiences of those affected by this radiation as part of what is reviewed to come up with what should be the scientific underpinnings to actual protective standards and action by the federal government.
