We lived 560 ft from three macro cell towers in Moorpark, CA, right off of Tierra Rejada near Brookhurst. In the home that we lived in, our family of six experienced ear ringing, vertigo, heart palpitations, and headaches. We measured the distance of our home from the three macro towers from AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Other neighbors had also experienced issues. Four of our neighbors who were closer to the cell towers ended up getting leukemia and cancer. These eventually passed. We had several city council meetings at the City of Moorpark addressing our concerns. The city said that the towers were to be present according to the Brown Act, which required telecommunications to be available to the community should there be an emergency. We stated that sufficient telecommunications had been available with the previous versions of 1G and 2G, but with the advancement of telecommunications allowing for higher levels of data for video and internet service, there was a stronger signal that was posing health risks to homes. Our plea to move the towers was ignored, and other towers were placed near homes. At Peach Hill Rd., another tower was placed near a family home, which was 45 ft from the home and 12 ft from the child's playhouse. This was not acceptable. This family also began to experience symptoms as our family had. This family also approached the Moorpark City Council in July of 2017 and December of 2020. This family's concerns were also ignored, stating the Brown Act. Other cities such as the City of Malibu and the City of Calabasas had ordinances in place to allow safe placement of cell towers from homes, but Moorpark does not. This concern was ignored. There are other homes in the area that have been at risk for health effects, such as homes that are near the Verizon tower on Tierra Rejada in Moorpark. One home is only 50 ft from the tower. Other homes close as well. A person should be allowed to live peacefully in their home without outside intervention. What we and others have had to endure living in a home where we were bombarded day and night with EMF, which caused symptoms that should not have occurred. We were unfairly driven from our home to be in a healthier environment, which our City was telling us was safe and not an issue at all. While we are not opposed to telecommunications, we are in favor of safe telecommunications where equipment is placed safely away from homes. Our experience has been heartbreaking, as we felt that we were driven from our home to be at a safe location where we and our children could be healthier. We ask that the United States government look into this issue and to provide regulations to the telecom companies as to where they can place their equipment. Equipment should not invade homes but should be placed at safe distances. If airports and fire departments are protected from unsafe placement of telecom equipment, why can't homes where people live for many hours. Something needs to change to help.

Would love to know how these frequency are legally hurting and burning females for sexual acts thru frequency and these towers. Burning vaginas burning breast stating they have full control over you all while claiming “you are in a cyber sex cell”. Due to their ability to manipulate and digitally stalk you, my eyes have nearly swollen shut shocks directed only at vagina etc is so sick. Calling the local Police department will bring further torture. I would enjoy further information not only for me but for other females, not to mention the children! Please proceed with caution. My digital sexual predator will further torture me and always threatens that he can “turn it off” in a minute therefore remaining undetected. I was even told at one point we are your security I was told we are helping and you have to masterbate before I go back to jail. I was also told you have a female officer who is of “grave” situation.

I thank the HHS for inviting public comment on the health effects of wireless radiation. As federal legislation has not been enacted to govern cell tower placement near schools, I urge HHS to consider the science indicating our children are at risk. This is an unfortunate gap exposing our young citizens to long-term health complications. One finding is that children’s brains are more deeply affected by wireless radiation due to the width of their skulls than those of adults exposed to the same amount of radiation. Concerning a simple phone exposure, “the average exposure from use of the same mobile phone is higher by a factor of 2 in a child’s brain and higher by a factor of 10 in the bone marrow of the skull” (https://ehsciences.org/science-on-children-cell-phone-radiation-and-health-risk/). Then multiply this exponentially concerning a cell tower located in the vicinity of a neighborhood or a school. As municipalities in CA, NY, TN, and MA have enacted set distances between schools and electromagnetic fields generated by cell towers, there is hope for growing awareness and local progress. However, with the small cell market now operating in midband 5G, the potential hazard is invisible to the general public. It requires greater scrutiny than local municipalities can provide to make a difference. Let’s join the scrutiny underway in our international community and set US boundaries aimed at protecting citizens, young and old, but especially our young. With gratitude.

I support the study of electromagnetic fields and associated regulations that protect the public. I am a volunteer with Save Temecula, a nonprofit organization formed in 2026 to fight San Diego Gas and Electric’s proposed Golden Pacific Powerlink featuring 145-mile long 200’ tall 500,000 volt extra high voltage power towers/lines through a densely populated area of Temecula, CA. This is the largest and most invasive project SDG&E has undertaken through a well-established urban area. As a volunteer, I have spoken with thousands of residents who say one of their major concerns, behind wildfires, is EMF exposure. This project would be only hundreds of feet from homes, businesses, schools, churches, daycare centers, playgrounds, parks, walking paths, an historic district, etc. This investor owned utility downplays our concerns, saying that studies find EMF harm to be inconclusive; they compare exposure to our microwave ovens that we generally use for minutes rather than on an ongoing basis. However, residents are so concerned that they are willing to move elsewhere if the power towers are approved by the California Public Utilities Commission. In less than five months, more than 12,000 people have signed a change.org petition against this project and in just a couple months, more than $30,000 has been raised to fight it. Additionally, I have a friend whose husband died of brain cancer, which adds to my suspicion of EMFs. She and her husband purchased a home in foreclosure overlooking the Southern California Edison extra high voltage lines in Corona. This young man’s past time was working in their beautiful backyard. Furthermore, some of our community leaders and local utility experts have extensively studied EMFs, and they have concluded this is potentially harmful to human health. I believe the SDG&E Golden Pacific Powerlink project (which will be filed with the California Public Utilities Commission mid-November 2026) and others like it should be placed on hold until Federal studies have concluded. Otherwise millions of people will be paying for this outdated infrastructure through significant rate increases. Thank you for your concerns and action regarding electromatic fields. When my son was a baby in 2010-2011 we’d walk in an Apple Store- he was peaceful and happy, very quiet and relaxed. After standing in line about 5 minutes he started screaming and crying uncontrollably and I couldn’t console him- so o took him out side - within 10 seconds he stopped and became peaceful again. So after about 5 min I went back in the store with him and got back in line- in less than a minute he started screaming and crying again. So I took him out again and he stopped crying. That was the last time I took him in an Apple Store. When he was about 3 - I was a realtor and I did majority of my work at home- this day I needed to use my brokers office- I started working on my laptop - he was just playing with toys sitting at the table I was working on - and all of a sudden he just fell of his chair, I was trying to figure out what happened. - and he couldn’t stand straight and kept falling to the side like he had lost his balance - he was dizzy . The only thing I could think of was the Wi-Fi was on throughout the office. At home I always used a Ethernet cord. So I gathered my things and took him outside - after about 2 min he regained his balance. 3 years Later a new friend had come over w her parents and she brought her Nintendo switch- while we were talking with the parents he and his friend were taking turns playing on the handheld Nintendo switch- about 30 minutes later they stopped playing and I noticed his cheeks were super red - like cherry red and it was basically over both sides of his face. The only thing he was doing was holding it and playing a game. I think definitely Wi-Fi and emf radiation need a lot more studies to be done- the harmful potential of how they affect children and adults has been overlooked and neglected by our government .

There are unique folks like myself. I already have hearing damage related Tinnitus. That's bad enough. During the covid shutdowns, the 5G installations by us went on, and went faster. To my unhappy surprise, I started to hear a transformer-like low hum occasionally. I searched the house for a source - upstairs, basement, attic, over our garage. Then it came back, louder, sleep interruptive, and constant. As it happens, my phone switched to full 5G at the same time, and I saw the new poles and boxes all over. Sleep is now fetching, as it's an intrusive noise. Not Hyperacusis, it's only this sound. It's not present when I'm in other places. Commenting that I'm not alone - - and the fact that these are near schools is concerning, let alone outside someone's front window.

Our community has been having issues related to the cell towers put up, and the second new cell timer put up recently. These towers are close to our community schools and our community. Our childeren have been experiencing high blood pressure, swelling, headaches, and bloody noses. Our community is also at risk of thyroid issues. Doctors are claiming this is genetic. Our family has never had issues with our thyroid until now and we are a family of 7. All of us are having issues with our thyroid. One of my children also suffer from suicidal intentions with her mental health and fear these cell towers dont make things easier for any of us.

I am writing as a concerned parent of three young children to express my support for greater research, transparency, and public awareness regarding electromagnetic fields (EMFs), radiofrequency (RF) radiation, and wireless radiation exposure. Our children are growing up in an environment with nearly constant exposure to wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi routers, cell phones, tablets, smart devices, and wireless systems in schools. While these technologies provide many benefits, I believe we need a better understanding of the potential long-term health effects of cumulative exposure, particularly for developing children. I respectfully urge federal agencies to: * Prioritize independent, long-term studies examining chronic RF exposure, particularly in children and other potentially vulnerable populations. * Investigate potential biological effects beyond tissue heating, while carefully evaluating the quality and reproducibility of the evidence. * Reevaluate current safety standards in light of modern wireless technologies, changing exposure patterns, and emerging scientific findings. * Encourage practical, low-cost exposure reduction measures in schools and homes, including access to wired internet connections when feasible. * Increase public transparency regarding exposure levels, research findings, and the scientific basis for safety guidelines. As a parent, I believe we should not have to choose between technological advancement and taking reasonable precautions to protect our children’s health. I am not advocating for fear or the elimination of wireless technology. I am asking for responsible oversight, rigorous independent research, and a precautionary approach where meaningful scientific uncertainties remain. As a mother of two children living in Sandy, Utah, I am deeply concerned about the cell tower located at Sprucewood Elementary School, where my son attends school. Every day, parents send their children to school trusting that their health, safety, and well-being are being prioritized. Children spend approximately seven hours a day, five days a week, at school during critical stages of physical, cognitive, and neurological development. My greatest concern is the potential long-term impact of radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure on children’s developing brains and nervous systems. Children are not simply small adults. Their brains are still developing, and I believe federal safety standards should specifically account for their unique developmental needs and the possibility of cumulative environmental exposures throughout childhood. While current scientific evidence has not established that exposure from cell towers operating within federal safety limits causes neurological harm, questions remain about long-term exposure beginning early in life. I believe those questions deserve continued independent research and careful consideration. I am especially concerned about the placement of telecommunications equipment directly on elementary school campuses. Even when equipment complies with existing regulations, parents deserve transparency about exposure levels, monitoring procedures, and the decisions that led to its installation. I respectfully request that the Department of Health and Human Services: 1. Prioritize independent research examining the long-term neurological, cognitive, and developmental effects of RF exposure during childhood. 2. Review whether current federal RF exposure guidelines adequately account for children’s developing brains and nervous systems. 3. Encourage independent, publicly accessible RF exposure measurements at elementary schools where cell towers are located. 4. Investigate alternative locations for telecommunications equipment that would reduce unnecessary exposure concerns in school environments. 5. Evaluate whether additional precautionary measures or recommendations regarding cell tower placement on elementary school properties are warranted. 6. Encourage greater parental involvement and transparency when decisions are made about installing or maintaining cell towers on school property. I am specifically requesting that the cell tower at Sprucewood Elementary School in Sandy, Utah, be evaluated for removal or relocation. I understand that wireless technology plays an important role in modern society. However, I also believe technological convenience and infrastructure needs should be balanced with thoughtful consideration of children’s health and development. As a parent, I should not have to wonder whether my child’s daily learning environment has been adequately evaluated for long-term environmental exposure. I am not asking the government to assume that harm has occurred. I am asking for meaningful research, transparency, independent testing, and a precautionary approach when evaluating potential risks to children. Our children only get one childhood, and their developing brains deserve careful consideration when decisions are made about the environments where they spend so much of their lives.
