People who have mold illness and chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS) often report that they also develop EMF sensitivity. Whenever they are near 5G Wi-Fi, cell phone towers, or antennas, they report headaches, brain fog, and fatigue. These symptoms persist until the exposure stops. This significantly affects their quality of life, and many say they stay on 4G because it feels more tolerable and less harsh.
Communities have raised concerns, too. In 2019, CBS Sacramento reported that parents at Weston Elementary in Ripon, California, blamed a cell tower on campus after a fourth student there was diagnosed with cancer, including a student with brain cancer ("Parents Blame Elementary School's Cell Tower After 4th Student Diagnosed With Cancer," March 12, 2019). The tower was removed. There are also reports that a researcher in Switzerland found mold released more mycotoxins when exposed to EMF. The experiment is unpublished but is often cited by German doctor Dietrich Klinghardt. People who are sensitive to mold and mycotoxins may be more affected as cell towers and base stations are placed near where people live, work, and go to school.
While wireless communication is important, it should not come at the cost of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Americans trying to go to school, work, or live safely in their homes. Many are exposed constantly and may not connect their symptoms to the frequencies around them.
I ask that unbiased scientific research be done, independent reports be aggregated, and accommodations be considered for people with these sensitivities. 6G should be put on hold and not released until this is studied further and 5G may need to be rolled back to 4G.
Thank you for your attention to this. I am a concerned citizen and I hope something can be done to protect people's health and quality of life.
EMF exposure is very concerning because the health effects are not being considered. My daughters have been dealing with anxiety which we believe is linked to the amount of wireless they are exposed to at school. My father carried his cell phone in his shirt chest pocket and developed arrythmias causing him to need a pacemaker placed.
There are many documented health risks from wireless exposure. I believe Germany and now France have been taking these issues more seriously. In France they banned wireless from schools.
Our safety limits are too high since documented health effects occur at much lower levels.
Children especially are in a mass experiment... the increase in childhood cancers, miscarrages, tyrbo cancers, colon cancer in young adults (where do young kids/adults carry cellphone? In pocket) need to be considered. Something like 50% of teens or more facing anxiety (my daughters have very high anxiety and I believe there is a connection)
Clearly need to consider not placing towers in neighboorhoods with family homes or apartments or near schools, parks and playgrounds.
Our place of business, which is a daycare has a 5G tower very close to it. Since the tower was put up, we’ve noticed a change in the children’s behavior. This should have been investigated before being allowed close to the daycare center.
I’ve also noticed that I suffer from tinnitus whenever I am close to a tower.
The expansion of wireless radiation has caused many people to have serious health effects. Safety NEEDS to be a consideration with expansion into 5G and 6G and beyond. Personally, I used to have photographic memory up until my early 20s. Around 3G/4G and increased wifi exposure I went to having brainfog and memory issues on a constant basis and having difficulty forming clear thoughts/words/sentences at times. I do everything I can to reduce exposure... use 4g (turn off 5g) on my cell phone and use wired headphone buds or speaker phone for my calls, turn wireless off at night in my home, put a faraday cage to help reduce exposure from the Smart Meter... but it is impossible to avoid towers that come to neighborhoods without our say or knowledge or consent. And they are documented to mess with our cells (gated calcium channel effects) and cause anxiety etc.
My own daughters 15 and 21 both suffer alot of unexplained anxiety that has increased SIGNIFICANTLY the past few years since 5G was introduced and I do believe there is a connection considering how much wireless frequencies /EMF they are exposed at school.
No schools or homes or playgrounds should have wireless towers near them.
There are OVER 10,000 studies worldwide showing the negative health effects of wireless radiation, and levels much lower than what the US deems allowable cause harm. I truly believe we will face a health crisis. See all the turbo cancers that have recently garnered attention may also be connected.
I am submitting this comment as a concerned member of the public, a parent, and a family member who is deeply concerned about the potential effects of wireless technology and radiofrequency (RF) radiation on our homes and families.
My Personal Experience with Wireless Home Internet
My concerns became more immediate when I switched internet providers and installed T-Mobile home internet in my home.
Before I made the switch, my daughter reminded me that I had previously told her I sometimes feel uneasy when I can sense that someone's microwave oven is operating nearby. She was surprised that I would choose to bring wireless internet equipment into my home, given what I had told her. Her comment made me stop and reconsider my decision.
Approximately one week after installing T-Mobile home internet, I noticed that my Golden Pothos, a hanging plant I had cared for for 20 to 25 years, began to deteriorate. Its leaves turned brown and fell to the floor. For decades, this plant had been full, healthy, and beautiful in the same location. I was perplexed by its sudden decline.
Concerned by the timing, I promptly canceled the service and returned to cable internet. Unfortunately, I ultimately had to replace my longtime plant.
My Concerns About Changes in My Family
My concerns extend beyond my own home. I became increasingly troubled by changes I observed in my daughter's emotional state and family relationships after she and her husband moved into a newly built home in Florida.
Their home contained numerous connected technologies, including smart door locks, a smart security system, televisions, cell phones, and internet-connected devices. After they moved, family members and I noticed what appeared to be a significant change in her demeanor and in the way she and her husband interacted with their young child.
They seemed increasingly impatient, and I was deeply troubled by the harsh way they spoke to their baby. Neither seemed to have much patience with the child. These changes concerned me greatly as a parent and grandparent. Over time, my relationship with my daughter deteriorated, and she eventually became estranged from me. I continue to worry about the child's well-being.
I cannot say with certainty that wireless radiation caused these changes. However, the timing of these events has left me deeply concerned and questioning whether environmental factors in our homes may play a role in changes in people's emotional states, behavior, and relationships.
Family estrangement is deeply painful. I cannot help but wonder whether factors in our modern environment, including wireless radiation and other environmental exposures, deserve consideration when trying to understand troubling changes in ourselves and our loved ones.
Conclusion
I am submitting this comment because I believe my personal experiences are worth sharing as part of the public discussion about EMFs, RF radiation, and wireless technology exposure.
The decline of a plant I had cared for over two decades and the troubling changes I observed in my family have left me with questions and concerns I cannot ignore. Although I cannot establish a direct connection between these experiences and wireless radiation, I believe they are important to document.
As a parent and family member, my greatest concern is the well-being of our children and the people we love. I hope that sharing my experiences will contribute to a better understanding of the concerns some members of the public have about wireless technology in their homes.
Thank you for considering my comment
Thank you for the opportunity to submit a comment. I absolutely oppose the 2-way wireless radiation emitting smart meters and digital meters that have been forced on Americans’ homes, including mine.
Additionally I am very concerned about increasing levels of other sources of electromagnetic radiation and how exposure will affect all Americans, especially my family, as well as the enviroment.
Over 1,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies have demonstrated serious adverse health effects from the wireless radiation coming from our cell phones, cell towers, and "Smart" meters radiating our homes 24/7. This includes DNA damage, infertility and reproductive damage, cardiac effects and arrest, neurological conditions (anxiety, depression, Alzheimers), immune system dysfunction, and cancer.
Environmental Health Trust provides a list of scientific evidence on this webpage that I am including with my submission.

The FCC was sued in 2021 for failing to update their safety guidelines for human exposure limits that were established in 1996 when we were using 2G wireless technologies, not the 4G and 5G we have today. The lawsuit was successful, but now over 5 years later the FCC still has not responded to the court and is refusing to regulate the Telecoms. The reality is NO ONE is measuring our cumulative daily human exposure of EMF “electrosmog” coming from all of our current sources of wireless radiation including 4G/5G “mega” towers, 5G small cells, and the EMF pulsing Smart meters attached to our homes. https://ehtrust.org/in-historic-decision-federal-court-finds-fcc-failed-to-explain-why-it-ignored-scientific-evidence-showing-harm-from-wireless-radiation/
Because I am aware of the health risks, I have tried my best to create a safe healthy environment in my home. We do not have WIFI in our home and haven't for years. Instead we use hard-wired internet. We kindly ask anyone entering our home to please turn off their Cellular Data, Bluetooth, and WIFI on their phones and tablets as my husband and I do the same when we are in our home. Rarely do we need to use the internet on our phones but if we do, we do it quickly and away from our son and then once we are done, we make sure to turn it back off, immediately. We have asked our neighbors to apply faraday cages on their utility meters and they gladly obliged. We take all these measures, and I could go on listing more, because we are aware of the dangers. We do the best we can, to control what we can, knowing once we leave our house, it's a battle zone of cell towers and cell phones. I ask that HHS do everything in its power to better protect Americans from increasing sources of “electrosmog.”
I think it's great that HHS is looking into how electromagnetic fields could affect people's health, especially children and other vulnerable groups. With how much we rely on technology like cell phones, Wi-Fi, and other wireless devices every day, I think it is important to understand any possible long-term effects. Technology is constantly changing, so I think it makes sense to continue researching whether current safety guidelines are enough to protect people.
I also like that HHS is asking for input from both professionals and the general public. I think hearing different perspectives could help them better understand people's concerns and identify areas that need more research. Even though there may not be clear answers to every question right now, I think collecting more information is a good start. It will be interesting to see what they find and whether this leads to changes in safety regulations or recommendations in the future.
When the cell tower was first installed and turn on. The cows in a good five-mile area were aborting their calves, and some also had uterine prolapse. which takes the cow out of production. This was from the Electromagnetic Field, Radiation, and Radio frequency from the cell tower. Cornell did a study; I never saw the results; I am guessing that they did not like the results published. So, the cell tower could stay in business!
It's time to end the addition of any cell towers. Do not allow the level of radiofrequency be increased. It was not safe when it was first installed, and now it is much more life threating.
I know when the cell tower went to 5 G, the children in the area and families all got sick. This was like having the flu, body aches headaches. I do not know if any pregnancy were loss.
Data Centers should also be stopped. United States is way pass what China, and any other country has! Data Centers poison the air, water, land, wildlife, and the people in the area. They have a high level of noise pollution, and they will also have mass of equipment waste that is poison to the land and water when the equipment gets thrown a way.
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.
I am responding from the perspective of a patient, parent, family member, caregiver and concerned member of the public.
Since 5G became a part of our lives, I frequently get severe headaches that last over 24 hours at a time. I used to be able to multi task but I have a hard time even organizing my thoughts and concentrating on more than one thing at a time. I have developed auto immune disorders and skin rashes .
As a parent...my daughter is also having horrible headaches and rashes that she never had before.
As a caregiver..I watched my mom experience extreme migraine headaches,, mysterious skin rashes, cancer and severe cognitive failure.
I know many people that are having the same problems from wireless radiation. Quality of life has drastically reduced to being constantly ill and suffering . Now they want to bring in 6G? That is insane. We are just lab rats they experiment on.
HHS needs to immediately take an active role in examining the health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should have been addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should have been considered alongside the scientific evidence. Many people are suffering unnecessarily. Something needs to be done NOW to protect lives .
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I was harmed by EMF’s back in 2022 after getting a Traumatic Brain Injury ( TBI) . After 1 year of OT and PT 3 days a week for 1-1/2 years and not getting better, my doctor sent me to a functional medicine doctor who did testing and realized I had an overload of EMF’s from a few factors including living next to a 5G pole and wearing earbuds frequently. I had no idea. I’ve done significant remediation of my home and started feeling better quickly. My son was having symptoms as well.
