ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a healthcare professional who has cared for a subset of patients who report significant symptoms that they associate with exposure to wireless technologies and electromagnetic fields. In my clinical practice, I have encountered patients who describe symptoms occurring or worsening in environments with higher levels of wireless or electromagnetic exposure. Reported symptoms have included headaches, sleep disturbance, fatigue, difficulty concentrating or “brain fog,” dizziness, palpitations, anxiety, heightened nervous system symptoms, and a general sense of feeling unwell. Some patients report that these symptoms improve when they reduce their exposure or spend time in environments with fewer wireless devices. These experiences can have a meaningful impact on patients’ daily lives. For some, concerns about exposure affect where they can comfortably work, sleep, travel, or spend extended periods of time. Regardless of the ultimate mechanisms involved, patients experiencing these symptoms deserve to have their concerns heard, studied carefully, and addressed with scientific rigor rather than dismissed. As a healthcare professional, I believe there is a need for continued high-quality, independent research examining the potential biological and health effects of chronic and cumulative exposure to RF and other electromagnetic fields, particularly as wireless technologies have become increasingly prevalent in homes, workplaces, schools, healthcare settings, and public spaces. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health. Patient experiences and clinical observations should be considered alongside epidemiologic, laboratory, and mechanistic evidence when identifying areas requiring further investigation. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate the existing scientific evidence, identify important gaps in current research, support well-designed independent studies, and give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable or susceptible populations. I also encourage HHS to investigate whether certain individuals may experience biological or clinical effects at exposure levels that do not produce obvious effects in the general population. Finally, healthcare professionals need evidence-based guidance for evaluating and counseling patients who report symptoms associated with wireless or electromagnetic exposure. Additional research could help clinicians distinguish potential exposure-related effects from other medical conditions, better understand possible mechanisms, and provide patients with appropriate recommendations based on reliable evidence. Thank you for providing patients, families, healthcare professionals, researchers, and scientists with an opportunity to contribute their experiences and perspectives to this important public health discussion.

A retired veterinary technician reports headaches, sleep difficulties, fatigue and other symptoms around …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of an individual, retired Registered Veterinary Technician, parent, and human being. During January 2020, my family and I were sick with what seemed like a bad chest cold with cold/flu like symptoms. This was at the exact same time that AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile were all firing up their many 5G towers around the California central valley where I lived at the time. This was right after thousands of 5G towers were fired up in and around Wuhan China in September/October 2019 causing cold/flu-like “covid” symptoms”. I have also worked from home using a laptop computer and wifi router which caused me symptoms of irritability, anxiety, depression, dizziness, headaches, nausea, heaviness in the chest, fatigue, sleep disturbances, tinnitus and other cold/flu-like symptoms. Once I took out the router my symptoms improved but it wasn’t until I left my job to move out of state and was no longer working on a computer for 40 hours a week that I really started feeling better. I have had these same symptoms whenever I spend any time in a residence or building that has wifi and/or a large amount of electronic equipment, like the San Joaquin County building where the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors meet. I was sick for several days after spending hours waiting for my turn to speak in a Planning Commission meeting to address a legal matter regarding the San Joaquin River Club where I used to live. I have also worked in several veterinary emergency hospitals with a lot of electronic equipment including fluid pumps, ultrasound machines, laboratory equipment and a CT scanner which caused irritability, anxiety, etc. I currently live in a low EMF environment which has really helped to alleviate my symptoms of Electromagnetic Radiation Sickness/Syndrome. I recently had an experience in which I had to have my iPhone 16 on my person for at least 8 hours during the day because I was waiting for an important phone call in a town with several cell towers and 5G service. By the time I got home and no longer needed to have my phone on, I felt ill like I had the “flu”. I felt nauseous, had a headache and had to go to bed early. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent. My teenage son who never had a single health issue in his life started experiencing involuntary twitching within a few months of a SMART METER (referred to as EVIL METER from this point forward) being installed on our home. Within approximately 4 months he had a full blown seizure. He was the only one in our home who had a bedroom on the side of the house as the EVIL METER which was right on the outside of the wall and was being bombarded every night in his sleep. This made me sick to my stomach to even think about!!! We moved his room and he started immediately seeing our acupuncturist for treatments as we do not believe in the lies and medications that traditional western doctors push. We received their suggestions and the answer was NO. This entire experience has changed our son as it would anyone and he is now EMF sensitive and still healing after a year and a half. I can not imagine how many innocent children and human beings and even animals are being terrorized and poisoned by EVIL METERS and all other forms of EMFs and when the clues lead to these sources many roll their eyes and you are felt to be crazy for even suggesting these sources by "professionals". Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard!!

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a citizen and the sister of a brain cancer patient who daily used her cell phone for a long periods of time while working. She developed glioblastoma on the same side of her brain close to her ear as she would daily hold the phone while she was cleaning houses. She is only 52 and being put on hospice after lengthy treatments and surgeries. When I use my cell phone, my hands will ache. If I am not using the phone, my hands do not tingle or ache. We changed our Wi-Fi to a landline in at that time. I headaches, depression and brain fog went away. I am now able to get my household tasks done and in addition study to further my career. Thank you for providing individuals, families, health care providers, researchers and scientists with an opportunity to be finally be heard on this critical public health issue. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2092574/

Reports hydrocephalus and dizziness following local meter and tower installations, attributing difficulti…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient (myself), as I first experienced ill effects when Dominion Power installed a smart meter on my home without my consent and with the local cell towers being erected around our community.3 years ago. I experience closing of my ventricles in my brain and being diagnosed with hydrocephalus without cause. I had to have a stent put into my skull to drain fluids since my ventricles no longer were working. Wireless radiation has affected me as I now must wear protection and hardwire all internet connections in order to use devices. I am not able to be near cell towers and other strong wifi without protection as I get dizzy and disoriented. This effects everyday life for me as I must be sure to be careful as not to be without my protective devices and have my phone on airplane mode most of the time. I think people affected by wireless radiation should be educated and informed of any and all ill effects of this technology, and I believe HHS should address this issue. We have a body that has electrical and vibrational in nature. I also feel that government agencies have a duty and an oath to protect us sovereign citizens, as well as everything in nature, in regards to this. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals, families, health care providers, researchers and scientists with an opportunity to be finally be heard on this critical public health issue. thank you

Reports family symptoms, repeated displacement and difficulty finding accommodation attributed to towers …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
We were a healthy family until 2021 our health significantly declined. Little by little we started noticing we were having issues with 5g towers it started with my daughter's legs would go numb driving past 5g towers then she would be okay after. After we started traveling I had non stop brain fog at our home the 5g towers were 2.5 miles away. It was so bad I would rush to get ready for the day pack up the kids and go have fun at the parks just to get away and feel better. Then the cell tower crash happened 2025 for 4 hours no brain fog I felt so great at my home then cell phones started working and my brain fog came instantly back. We found a better place right next to neighbors with 5g hotspot which we didn't know existed. We all started having signs of radiation poisoning rashes, GI bleeds and sores. My daughter all of a sudden started complaining about a headache when at home we would leave she would be fine. Second day of this I started getting jittery and chest pains at home. My husband had our one vehicle at work. We spent the day walking the side of the roads and hanging out because our home made us so sick. My husband figured out it was 5g hotspot from our neighbors when he did a wifi search. He talked to the neighbors asked them to turn it off which they did for couple hrs we all felt so much better until it came back on and instantly headaches, chest pains and jittery again. Third day I couldn't be on the property at all I was having trouble breathing, brain fog, and very jittery I couldn't function. We had to move which you would think was simple but that's when we found out there was no place we could go without 5g towers. We moved away from the hotspot but closer to a 5g tower until we could find a safe place. I got so bad I remember hiding in the woods because the trees blocked some signal. I was pregnant and having braxten Hicks being around the 5g. We finally found a safe place after messaging so many air bnbs and hip camps because nobody gives you an address. It took me two weeks to recover from that. I could barely walk I was so weak. We want back home to Wisconsin expecting a safe home but instead found out we had no safe place due to 5g. We were allergic to the towers at our home that we lived at for 7 years, our friends homes, and most campgrounds. Finally found a safe place an hr away until they started updating towers up north to 5g. We moved south as our state wasn't working for us we had no place to be and God told us to go. Our first home we got radiation poisoning again from our neighbors 5g hotspot same story. The day we left I couldn't even walk my legs were so weak I just laid on the ground holding my baby who was napping I had no strength to physically move. When my husband brought the truck up for us to leave it was all I could do to get myself in. We tried so many campgrounds all had 5g wifi or 5g towers. One campground we were there 15 min my baby started screaming nonstop he never screamed. My son started rolling around on the floor screaming about his stomach hurting. I was so weak I barely could get my kids in the car but as soon as we left all the kids stopped screaming we were fine. We to this day can't be around 5g towers and avoid towns with 5g. For almost two years we felt like refugees in our own country no place to go that was safe and we physically couldnt be around 5g for long periods of time. God moved us to a county that bans 5g and we found some safety and normal life again. But there's only two small towns safe for us to go into the bigger towns we get headaches and other health issues and physically can't be there long. It's definitely limited us but we are thankful that we found some safety by our home at least.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a community member. Wireless radiation has affected me. Doppler Radar, the tower's, and the antenna’s frequency are horrific. Being a "canary in the coalmine" is AWFUL!! I experience a stiffened neck, heightened tinnitus, brain fog, migraines, an internal vibrating/buzzing and more. In my daily life, I have invested in Blushield, take radiation supplements (ie – apple pectin), use specific essential oils for EMF, and a host of other aids. Although, some days it can be incredibly intense. So much so, that I am bedridden. I absolutely support people affected by wireless radiation and am so grateful HHS is addressing this issue. I am disappointed, to say the least in the FCC.

Requests independent safety research before more towers are installed near schools, hospitals and homes, …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I seriously believe that we need unbiased data on the safety considerations of these towers before they go up in public areas, over schools and hospitals and in residential neighborhoods. The only ones stating they are safe are the people who are profiting from them and surely the experiences we have had with the other industries that have been relied upon for self regulation have proven how ill advised the practice is! Do the research, make a real, honest and reliable assessment before another one goes up.
