Reports family tinnitus, sleep and fatigue changes after a nearby tower appeared while acknowledging caus…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public and a parent. With the proliferation of 5G towers across the country, without public input or feedback, we suddenly found ourselves living with a large tower across the street from our home. After a few months, I noticed my tinnitus getting worse within the house, while my wife's sleep patterns became more erratic and she was waking up much more in the night and feeling less rested in the morning. She said it wasn't because she was suddenly worrying about things more. My daughter also began frequently complaining how tired she was in the morning even after a full night's sleep. Her bedroom sits in direct line of sight with the tower across the street. Though all these events don't prove 5G is causing them, the timing is significant and many others across the country have experienced similar things and even much worse things. Is it all in our heads? The research the FCC is relying on is outdated. Meanwhile, much new research suggests continuous exposure to non-ionizing radiation can, in fact, be harmful. HHS needs to consider all relevant, current data and commission new studies. Nothing less than the health and well-being of all of us is at stake as this technology continues to expand unbounded with almost no controls, and almost no concern for public health. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Reports headaches, insomnia and cognitive symptoms resolving after home Wi-Fi removal, argues for a micro…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
1. & 2. I am responding as: an individual 3a. Type of wireless or RF/EMF sources involved (e.g., mobile phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters…)WiFi 3b. Nature, duration, frequency, and approximate timing (e.g., years):WiFi in house for 2 years 3c. Adverse health effect(s) experienced:Headaches, Insomnia, Restlessness, Brain Fog, Dizziness 3d. Time from first exposure to first appearance of adverse health effects; and did a change in exposure coincide with the onset of adverse effects:The adverse health effects were minor at first and I wasn't sure of the cause. But the symptoms worsened over time until when day the WiFi broke and we were without it for many days, and I realised I felt better not having it around me and I slept better. That is when I got informed about WiFi and microwave radiation and had an EMF survey done in my home. 3e. Was medical evaluation or treatment sought? (Optionally:) Was there a diagnosis?Treatments were sought, but the best move was getting rid of the WiFi in my immediate environment. 3f. Were steps taken to reduce or eliminate exposure, and were there subsequent changes in the effects?Yes, as stated above in 3d. Once WiFi was removed, my symptoms went away. 3g. Any supporting documentation? This includes Scientific Reports, exposure measurements, or other relevant information:Yes, I had two EMF studies done of my home. One before and one after mitigation. Additional Details you would like to share about your experiences of adverse health effects you believe to be associated with exposure to wireless radiation or EMF's:If you don't believe that microwave radiation is harmful, despite many studies (incl long-term) that have proved it, just look at the statistics for Brain Glioma cancer. A Glioma is ONLY caused by one thing: microwave radiation. Prior to 1996, before people brought microwaves into their homes and open air, brain Gliomas represented 0% of the population. Now, there are millions of people with Glioma cancers (studies vary). It's obvious that the rise in this type of cancer is specifically due to the rise in microwave radiation exposure. B1a. Sources you experience as causing you Adverse Effects:Microwave radiation, Bluetooth, Solar Panels B1b. Sources you can sense, but don't seem to harm you:I can use a wireless device for a short time and not necessarily feel hurt immediately; it seems to be more of a cumulative effect. B1c. Sources you can use without sensing or being harmed: B1d. Sources that seem to provide benefit (i.e., electrotherapy):FIR B2a. Health conditions you think may contribute to your sensitivity to EMFs including wireless:Neuroborreliosis, Thyroid disease B2b. Health conditions you don't necessarily associate with your sensitivity to EMFs including wireless, but might be relevant: B3. For each subquestion please list up to 5 drugs or therapies or home remedies (if any) B3a. That you recommend, as they helped you tolerate or recover from EMF exposure:Regular internal cleanses, hydration, increase oxygenation (exercise) and breathwork, good nutrition/wholesome foods, meditation, regulating minerals, disconnecting or blocking sources of radiation in home, being out in nature. B3b. That you recommend, but you’re not positive that they help:I am positive all my recommendations help. B3c. That helped you but you don’t recommend. (e.g., the benefit did not last long or the side effects were too harmful):n/a B3d. Treatments that had no effect:n/a B3e. Treatments that made your sensitivity worse:55-64 B4. What is your age range?55-64 B5. What year did you become aware of your sensitivity to wireless radiation or electromagnetic fields?2014 B6. What country, state, province, or major city were you living in when you first noticed your sensitivity to wireless or electromagnetic fields?United Kingdom

1. & 2. I am responding as: an individual 3a. Type of wireless or RF/EMF sources involved (e.g., mobile phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters…)Wifi, mobile phones 3b. Nature, duration, frequency, and approximate timing (e.g., years):20 years 3c. Adverse health effect(s) experienced:Brain fog, fatigue, insomnia, pressure and pain behind the eyeballs, pain in neck and shoulders, headache, dizzyness, heart palpitations. 3d. Time from first exposure to first appearance of adverse health effects; and did a change in exposure coincide with the onset of adverse effects:1 year 3e. Was medical evaluation or treatment sought? (Optionally:) Was there a diagnosis?Electromagnetic hypersensitivity was diagnosed by a physician 3f. Were steps taken to reduce or eliminate exposure, and were there subsequent changes in the effects?I stopped using a mobile phone, I shielded all the walls in my home, I bought radiation-protective clothing and stay inside my home (I don't go out anymore). When not exposed to radiation, I feel fine. When exposed to radiation, I am sick for 5 days, stay home and after 5 days I'm all better. 3g. Any supporting documentation? This includes Scientific Reports, exposure measurements, or other relevant information:I have a medical certificate from my physician. Additional Details you would like to share about your experiences of adverse health effects you believe to be associated with exposure to wireless radiation or EMF's: B1a. Sources you experience as causing you Adverse Effects:Wifi, mobile phones, cell towers, bluetooth, in fact: all smart wireless appliances. B1b. Sources you can sense, but don't seem to harm you: B1c. Sources you can use without sensing or being harmed:A cabled laptop, a corded telephone, my electric tootbrush (without anything wireless) B1d.
