As a manufacturer of LED lighting devices since 2008 and consultant of exposures to magnetic fields, electrical fields, radio frequency fields and geophysical fields professionally for over 25 years I offer this article from Barrie Trower regarding the theory that certain exposure levels from certain identified microwave radio frequency fields will produce infertility and birth defects similar to Thalidomide.Barrie Trower is a British physicist and former member of the British Navy and Secret Service. He has opined on the negative health effects of exposure to microwave radiation for several years. His experience working in the British Secret Service exposed him to information from foreign spy’s that had pulsed electromagnetic frequencies that were developed to be used as weapons. Today he states that there are about 750 frequencies that are used both deliberately and accidentally in places that cause various negative health effects. According to Trower, 58% of the planet’s governments are taking avoidance action against this while 42% are not aware of the risks and taking no action. Seventeen countries are currently enacting legislation to restrict the deployment of microwave radiation.
We need stricter regulations and protections. The plant & tree growth is stunted in the radius of transmission lines and electrical infrastructure/installations. Radiation, EMF’s and RF’s are Effecting wildlife, woodlands and humans.
I am concerned about whether current FCC radiofrequency exposure guidelines adequately address long-term exposure, modern wireless technologies, and the potential effects on children and other vulnerable populations. Reports from people who believe their health has been affected deserve respectful consideration and careful investigation.
As wireless infrastructure expands, I would like to see a transparent review of current scientific evidence, clear explanations of any uncertainties, and practical guidance for people who wish to reduce their exposure. The public deserves meaningful responses to these concerns and confidence that decisions affecting our homes, schools, and workplaces are based on a thorough and current assessment of health and environmental evidence.
“I hope that HHS will use this opportunity to create a comprehensive report on the current medical, biological, and public health knowledge regarding these effects and take action on that. Please consider the experiences of those affected by this radiation as part of what is reviewed to come up with what should be the scientific underpinnings to actual protective standards and action by the federal government.”
One of our most important tasks of a civilization is to create an environment that allows people to be safe in their homes and at school. It is known that radiation, EMF’s and radio frequencies are harmful to humans when exposure is consistent and at close proximity.
Our bodies and brains are constantly being bombarded with these dangerous conditions when our homes and schools are close to these toxic environments. Regulations must be put in place and enforced to keep populations from becoming vulnerable to cancer, brain damage and damage to our immune systems. Save our children and families and keep these towers are safe distance from all schools and neighborhoods!!!
I am a licensed mental health professional who specializes in child and youth mental health and trauma. I have been working with children and youths in multiple capacities for nearly 30 years, and I have not only watched their screen addiction increase dramatically over the past decades, I have noticed something especially troubling in the past few years: A sharp increase in restless, unspecified anxiety and panic attacks in children and youths, and at younger and younger ages, starting with toddlers. This is sometimes misdiagnosed by other therapists as "ADHD". In the past, I saw anxiety and panic attacks primarily in children ages 12 and up, but now, it is becoming common in very young children, and one of the primary presenting complaints. I believe that many of these symptoms on the anxiety, restlessness, and panic spectrum, especially in children whose needs are otherwise met (e.g., they have adequate outdoor play time) and without trauma histories, are a direct result of their exposure to EMFs from screens, devices, and cellphone towers, but especially wifi and 5G. I believe that children and youths are especially exposed to this in public schools and public universities. When I suggest, as part of my treatment protocol, that parents drastically reduce or even remove their child's access to screens (and even find alternative education environments or homeschool if necessary to do this), this greatly reduces or even resolves the anxiety and panic symptoms in young children, pre-teens, and teens. It is harder for young adults to escape EMFs when devices are necessary for social functioning and the exposure is high at college or work. Of course, sometimes, the parents are so addicted to their own devices that they struggle to "unplug" the family, including the kids, from exposure to EMFs and symptoms persist.
Likewise, I know anecdotally how EMFs affect me and my family members, causing sudden, intense pressure "headaches" or a sensation of there being a pressured force around the head, as well as general restlessness or even akathisia and inability to concentrate, when the wifi is on or nearby. I have read interesting research by the Weston A. Price Foundation that suggests that most of the modern viral epidemics and seasonal illnesses that we suffer are correlated to the installation of EMF-emitting towers and infrastructure.
It is possible to use and emit frequencies for communications that heal human health rather than harm it--Take a look at Nikola Tesla's devices, inventions, and blueprints that were confiscated by the government. Please go beyond only researching this issue and make the infrastructure and frequency changes NOW. It will be easier to do this in 2026 before 5G and more intense harmful frequencies are so entrenched into our society's functioning that it will seem impossible to disrupt it. Different phones have different max specific SAR levels. Why are some phones using a higher SAR than others and do we really need them to do that? Can we not have relatively low SAR phones that still do their job? What if the consumer themselves was able to decide through software if they wanted a lower SAR on the phone than what the manufacturer set as max peak allowed?

I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices.
I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development.
Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure.
Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects.
I ask HHS to:
•Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups.
•Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest.
•Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools.
•Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient.
Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.
