I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent. I know my family is impacted because we get headaches near 5G towers and our sleep is impacted, too. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am concerned about the proliferation of 5g cell towers and their effect on our population and environment. Some organizations such as the WHO and Health Canada have suggested that their studies show limited impact to people and animals (minor effect on skin and eyes) but other studies cite those studies were not complete (science direct.org /toxology report.) They state that 5g indeed affects skin and eyes but also daily exposure will impact people’s entire system. Also stated that children are particularly vulnerable to 5g radiation. I am particularly concerned for my grandchildren and their health as well as our population, wildlife and our environment.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields(EMF,) Radio Frequency (RF), and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. Both my husband and myself developed tinnitus after a cell tower was installed in our neighborhood. It has caused nervous tension and sleep disturbances for the last 5 years. My husband has also developed repeated issues with vertigo which has dramatically affected our lives. I support HHS in taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health, medicine, biology and public health and the experiences of individuals and families who report having been affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge the HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with the opportunity to be heard.

I personally have been harmed, back in 2018 I became Electromagnetically sensitive, all that's been put out into the atmosphere with the cell towers, etc.my body started to react and it's been truly horrible. I cannot tell you enough of the personal physical and emotional anguish since and they all along that some people would not be able to tolerate it and their nervous systems, etc would become sensitive. Please Secretary Kennedy find out what is happening as well, where it's coming from, cell towers or satellites intermittent throughout the day and night very strong frequencies are being sent and affecting people. They make my body vibrate intensely and cause a lot of anxiety. I'm sure they are affecting people even if they aren't EMF sensitive , in a variety of ways. Please get to the bottom of it, expose what is going on and put a stop to it.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent and employer. I am an owner of a small business working in the oil and gas industry. We build communication towers and hang various antennas to transmit data. We also inspect existing towers as well as repair equipment and hang new equipment on existing towers. If the existing towers have a 5G antenna, our employees need to wear radiation protection and avoid getting in the RF path of the device. If the signal is that strong and that dangerous then humans do not need to be in homes with that signal flowing throughout them. Humans also don’t need to be holding devices in theirs hands, pockets, bras or placing them against their heads or in their ears. People deserve to know exactly how all of this is affecting them and their families. The dangers of the toxins in our world have been covered up and downplayed for far too long. Please get some real answers and tell the American people the truth. When I purchased my first mobile telephone, I set it together, switched it on and held it to my ear. Suddenly I recieved an short sharp electric shock in my nose. Wondering I looked for warnings on the packaging. NONE. Later when I began using this very useful apparatus; also held to my head/ear I experienced a certain typ of headache after some minutes of conversation. Aagin no warning on the packet that this could arise. This headache still arises today, 25 yrs later, even if I use handsfree earphones and cable and the telephone at arms length from me. The headache is stronger when the telephone is used in a car. The same type of headache arises for me with Wifi apparatus radiating in indoor rooms. I am an self employed business person and find the phone very useful, but very problematic. No warning comes from manufacturers or radiation authorities here in Sweden. Now I have to avoid towns where 4G + 5G masts are closer and causing stronger emf radiation. I have to carry a emf test meter so as not to be forced to experience the uncomfortable and inhibiting headache which impairs my whole feeling of wellbeing. At home, I cannot sleep in my above-ground bedroom as the radiation level entering into my property from the nearby telecom mast has increased enormously over the years giving me sleep problems. I have to sleep in the cellar. I discovered that there are many others with the same or similar problem with mobile telephone systems and RF/EMF. I find this particularly disturbing that the mobile industry is not subjected the precautionary principle and to providing tests and studies and that clear information is provided to customers. That is not just and honourable business practice neither honourable politics. This undermines my trust in politics and stock exchange companies. That politicians do not represent the peoples health before the profits of the telecom industri investors and make sure safety is first and that new emf technology business must prove the system harmless, especially to children and insects. I have had to inform myself about the state of the research into EMF effects on living organisms, I found that is is massive but always excluded from the mainstream press and authorities are not published or restrictive towards industry. All this amounts to an undermined quality of life. One is ostracised by others who do not experience problems with emf radiation and have never heard that there is a risk. This is not conjusive to an open and healthy society, even within my family. I really wonder if RF/EMF affects younger peoples cognitive abilities and problem solving intelligence? This over and above the effect that due to the lack of practical experiences in growing children when caught for hours infront of telephones and computers whether radiating or not than gaining life experience.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. Given the ubiquitous nature of Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure, it is high time that more research be done to address questions that have arisen over the last 30 years regarding the safety of such technology. I am not anti-technology or against progress, but technological progress without regard to public safety is wrong. As a mother of three, I am particularly concerned about the health impact on our children, who are especially susceptible to environmental stressors and toxins. ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Update the wireless radiation rules We should all know exactly how much radiation each device emits BEFORE we buy them. It should be clearly disclosed. I would be more likely to buy an iPad that emits lower radiation for my child. I have a right to know this information as well as how much exposure my child is experiencing while using a device. Look around at who is on your board. Are you protecting Americans or industry? Update studies and rules so we’re no longer kept in the dark. ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Dear HHS Representatives, Thank you for inviting public participation in this important conversation! I am a New York City resident, artist, and founder of **1-800-EARTH**, an emerging initiative dedicated to humane innovation, environmental responsibility, and making technology more inclusive of people with different sensitivities and accessibility needs. I am writing to share my personal experiences, explain how they inspired my passion for more human-centered technology, and express my hope for a future in which technological innovation and human well-being advance together. **My Personal Experience** I experience brain fog and tingling sensations in my hands, particularly during computer and cellphone use. I have noticed that these symptoms improve when I spend time away from my screen and keyboard. I recognize that these symptoms can have multiple possible causes, and I do not wish to assume that electromagnetic exposure is responsible. However, these experiences have made me deeply interested in understanding how technology affects different people and how we can better accommodate individuals reporting environmental or electromagnetic sensitivities. My experiences have also helped inspire my work toward developing and supporting technologies that prioritize accessibility, comfort, human well-being, and environmental responsibility. I believe that people reporting these sensitivities deserve to be heard respectfully, supported with practical options, and included in rigorous, independent scientific research. **Learning From History and Preventing Unnecessary Harm** History reminds us that our understanding of the health and environmental impacts of widely adopted technologies and chemicals can evolve over time. DDT, for example, was once used extensively before its serious environmental consequences became more widely understood. I am not suggesting that cellphone radiation has been demonstrated to cause the same harms as DDT. Rather, I believe this history illustrates the importance of remaining open to new evidence, continuing independent research, and taking reasonable steps to prevent avoidable harm. My hope is that we can identify potential risks early, evaluate them scientifically, and develop thoughtful solutions before unnecessary harm occurs. **A Collaborative Vision for Technology** I deeply appreciate the extraordinary possibilities that modern technology has created. My intention is not to oppose telecommunications companies, wireless innovation, or technological progress. Rather, I believe researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and individuals with different sensitivities can collaborate to develop technologies that accommodate a wider range of human needs. I would welcome greater attention to: - Affordable and accessible wired internet connections alongside wireless options. - Devices that can function offline or with wireless transmissions disabled. - Clear, accessible consumer information about electronic devices and electromagnetic exposure. - Continued independent research into potential health and environmental effects of radiofrequency radiation and other electromagnetic fields. - Inclusive product design that considers people with sensory sensitivities, disabilities, and different accessibility needs. - Opportunities for constructive collaboration between technology developers, public health researchers, and the communities they serve. **Innovation Through Inclusion** I believe that making technology more inclusive can create opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and responsible economic development. Supporting sensitive individuals does not have to come at the expense of technological advancement. It can inspire new products, services, and design approaches that benefit a broader population. I am particularly interested in a future where people have meaningful choices about how they connect, communicate, work, and interact with electronic devices. My hope is that technological progress will increasingly be measured not only by speed, convenience, and connectivity, but also by accessibility, human well-being, environmental stewardship, and quality of life. **An Invitation to Collaborate** I appreciate the opportunity to contribute to this discussion and hope HHS will continue encouraging thoughtful scientific inquiry and collaboration across communities and industries. As the founder of 1-800-EARTH, I would welcome opportunities to contribute ideas and participate in collaborative efforts toward more humane, accessible, and environmentally responsible technology. I want to work **WITH** researchers, policymakers, and the technology industry, not against them. After all, isn't the true purpose of phones and communication technology to bring people together? :-) Thank you for your time and consideration!
