Thank you for looking more carefully at the effects of EM radiation on humans and other living things. I have not suffered a serious injury, but I want to submit a comment to support efforts for more research and regulation. I am sensitive to EMF, so I do not own a cell phone and I do not use wi-fi in my house. Our laptops are wired. When I hold an iPad or cell phone with an active signal, it causes pain in my hands, so I am inclined to shift it from one to the other like a hot potato. My daughter did a science project where she grew seedlings directly inside the wall from our electric company smart meter, and also at a location in the same room as far from the meter as possible. The seedlings backed against the meter were very noticeably stunted compared to the ones grown at a distance. Because my husband was working right next to the smart meter, we decided it was worth $30/month to have a meter that does not send out a pulse every few seconds. It does seem that he became less easily angered and irritated after the meter was removed - which of course is highly anecdotal - but maybe you will hear the same kind of thing from others so it can be a drop in the bucket.

I am very concerned about wireless radiation in the United States. Our citizens must be informed of the potential health effects of EMF and RF exposure. It is the government's responsibility to research the ramifications of all these radical and rapidly changing elements in our environment, and to make the citizens aware of possible downsides to these technological advancements. I applaud your interest in listening to those who have been affected. For the last 30 years, my family has lived in an unincorporated area of Illinois outside of Chicago. My problem with sensitivity to exposure began with the COVID years, during which there was a proliferation of cell towers going up in our area. Our house was a mile from towers in four directions. We were protected from excessive exposure since we lived in a forested area. We began to research the topic, hired a building biologist, and limited our exposure to all types of radiation-emitting appliances, cell phones, smart TVs, etc. However, in 2024, the towers became visible over the tree lines. I not only had difficulty finding a place I could sleep in the house, but experienced side-effects throughout the day. We would have to move. In our desperation, we purchased a home in an area advertised as a natural fen. Then we learned the electromagnetic readings were very elevated at this site. We used our growing knowledge of all the parameters involved in choosing a safe home, paid to have prospective homes evaluated by a certified building biologist, and found a home in the "safest" location and moved in. I was free of all my symptoms for 6 months when I woke with a terrible pain in my head. Upon investigation, we saw all types of antennae and microwave equipment had been added to a guyed tower which was over a mile away. Based on meter readings and consultation with experts in the EMF field, these RF signals are directed toward our home. Once again, we are looking for more remote locations, outside of Illinois. Illinois seems bent on erecting as many towers as possible, leaving its citizens legally without a voice on the matter. If my home weren't enough of an issue, the spread of Wi-Fi now limits/prevents visits to doctors' offices, restaurants, church, and entertainment venues. Places where people congregate pose a problem as children, adults, and seniors live with tech "live" on their wrist, in their hands, and on and on. I am a 74 year-old woman. I have always been healthy. I do not take any medications. Now, if I am exposed to much wireless radiation: smart, blue-tooth, mother-boards, etc., I will wake with an excruciating burning on my head. It is not a headache, but feels as if a vise, ax or sledgehammer were taken to my head. The sensation subsides with time, after rising. OTC pain medications provide no relief. This is my most disturbing symptom. There are others. I have seen a sympathetic neurologist whose advice was to move far from our new technologies. We have shielded, grounded, removed all wireless, use a VOIP phone, drive an older model car without a 360L. You name it. Unfortunately, our lifestyle is profoundly affected. Those suffer from EMF/,RF hypersensitivity have nowhere to turn. We must continue to study the topic, isolate as much as possible, and keep moving! I trust you will listen to my story as well as those of others who are suffering from unregulated radiation.

I am responding from the perspective of myself, Marlene Schmidt . I first noticed Electro Hypersensitivity symptoms in 1992 as I was driving by high towers . I experienced excruciating leg pain. The pain would get much worse. I would get brain fog and anxiety . Smart meters in 2012 caused similar symptoms. Smart meters in 2012 caused similar symptoms. I get a sensation of head swelling , brain fog, pins and needles, headache, my balance is off and and I get weak if I spend too much time under high tension wires or near cell towers. These exposures to RF radiation as well as Multiple Chemical Sensitivities that i am diagnosed with overlap to cause adverse symptoms such as motor skills, and speech disruption, headaches that can be debilitating, arthralgias, toxic encepalopathy, increased inflammation, fluctuating pulse and blood pressure, disruption in vision, and various types of pain of various nature, which RF radiation is known to contribute to. The degree of the exposure will determine the severity of the symptoms, and the breadth of the reactions. This disability affects every aspect of my life because I am unable to use cell phones , which produce the same symptoms as above. I have to hard wire my computor with a ethernet cord for protection against EMF . Since the government is installing cell towers every 2 miles it makes it very difficult to avoid radiation from them. I do use certain devices to try to shield myself which helps a little bit . I opt out of the smart meters as you can do that in Arizona . I have been diagnosed by Doctors in the above symptoms. I do feel much better when not exposed to RF, Smart meters, EMF , etc. One time where I uses to live in Northern California , a storm came in and knocked down the electric for 5 days and I did not have any pain and slept 8 hours straight and virtually all symptoms vanished , which shows me how much these electric fields plays big part in our bodies that produce illness in our bodies. I have done some detailed research and experimentation over the years and come to the conclusion that wireless internet causes me to have disrupted sleep, insomnia, tinnitus, headaches, agitation, and irritableness. When we stopped the wireless and installed wired internet into our home, all of these symptoms stopped. We also made sure that the modem was on the other side of the house from our bedroom. We have an EMF meter and an app that measure the EMF frequencies and this has confirmed our findings. When I've had the symptoms, the meter has registered high, when I haven't had any symptoms and have been able to sleep well, the meter has read low. We have confirmed this at hotels and other family members' homes that we've we have stayed at as well. All of these symptoms have been less at hotels and homes with lower Wi-Fi frequencies being broadcasted. I highly recommend everyone trying this experiment. There is already so much research - which has existed for decades - showing the impact of light, frequency and magnetism on plants and animals. Read John Ott's book Health and Light, published in 1973, documenting these effects. European countries have different standards - even for their cell phones, the SAR ratings are much lower. To act as if we are unaffected by frequency is unfathomable. Now that we have Wi-Fi and wireless devices everywhere, even in our NICUs and schools, it is irresponsible to not acknowledge the effect that these frequencies can have on children and infants who have much less dense brain bone structures. We also need to consider the light we live within. Full spectrum incandescent is by far the healthiest option. Did you know that animal breeders can even change the sex ratios of their litters by altering the light frequencies they are exposed to? To make matters worse, we are now dealing with the effect of the growing South American Anomaly (SAA) which is lessening the geomagnetic field of the earth. This amplifies the effects of non native EMF, SARs, etc . It is imperative that we tackle this important issue from every possible angle immediately. Thank you.

I personally know people who have moved to different states to avoid cell towers that were placed near their homes. They were aware of the critical health impacts they had experienced and were not able or willing to tolerate their health declining from exposure. I have had experiences of being near cell towers and feeling a pain shoot through the back of my head. This has not occurred anywhere else. My husband was near an auto shop that had 2 major cell towers and experienced double vision, was told he could be having a stroke, and went through an entire MRI procedure, eye exams, and emotional distress. In a few weeks, his normal vision returned and the doctors said they had no explanation. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. I hope that HHS will use this opportunity to create a comprehensive report on the current medical, biological, and public health knowledge regarding the health effects of electromagnetic field emissions, including wireless radiation, and take action. In my work as a Cancer and Chronic Disease Researcher, I have been surprised at the many years it takes to put even preliminary health and safety guardrails in place in this country. The FCC is now (again) in a position to change its sluggish "responses" to the many known negative effects of this technology upon the human body as well as our precious environment. I strongly urge HHS to utilize this chance to supply the FCC with the much needed - and long overdue - update on this critical health issue and finally make a real difference in increasing protections we ALL need.

I regard myself as one of the highest informational authorities regarding advanced technologies relating to the intersection of electromagnetic radiation (non-ionizing) and the human body. I want to start out by saying I am highly appreciative of your effort to take on this subject matter, as many departments of government have entirely overlooked the obvious, the necessary, and the unacceptably dangerous aspects regarding electromagnetic system deployments in the United States. First, we need to address that many of the concerns you are raising are pertaining to electromagnetic frequency intensity. This is partially correct as the EM spectrum has a SAR rate that does interfere with human bodies. As far as I know unless a technology has been designed with the intentional purpose of weaponization there is not credible evidence that environmental effects of baseline EM services such as telecommunication, and home electronics have an SAR high enough to cause short-medium term health effects. However, this is not to say that EM technology has not drifted into rogue technological development through bad actors within our population, within our government, and within other governments in our world. There is a difference between raw electromagnetic energy, and how to EM spectrum can be weaponized by rogue actors to develop technologies with the explicit intent of severely harming another human biologic both physically and psychologically. I have had first hand undeniable experience of EM weaponization being conducted by our government on unwilling civilians with the explicit purpose of biological harm, ideological castration, and psychological destabilization. While it is brave to take on this issue, you will not get farther than step one without having to accept some harsh realities. Certain members of the United States Intelligence Community in partnership with certain agencies of Law Enforcement, private sector, military contractors, and critical infrastructure providers are engaged in conspiracy against certain members of the public. These actors are highly dangerous, and I have seen first hand that anyone that tries to get involved in stopping this conspiracy is either threatened, made to look crazy, defamed, or even worse killed and replaced by black budget anomalous technologies depicting their former human biologic. This conspiracy is the singular and only source of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation related health events that occur in this country. It is extremely difficult to find allies that will stand up against this rogue conspiracy being carried out by our government. Many people either don't know, don't believe that the technology being deployed is ontologically possible, or are quite literally implanted with biotechnological killswitches to threaten them into silence. The conspiracy essentially involves certain members of the intelligence community and high-class political groups inducting personal rivals into being unwilling subjects of rogue black budget experimentation projects. The CIA's MK Ultra and it's offspring projects being the most common. To be entered into this program you typically have to whistleblow on government activities, purposefully or accidentally reveal identities of disguised political operatives, or become unusually intertwined with the government's illegal UAP programs. The problem of addressing this issue as a EM problem is because EM radiation is only on branch of a much larger tree that involves undisclosed scientific discoveries. The NSA, CIA, and DIA have spent so much time outperforming modern particle physics that they have essentially created a science that goes undetectable, with EM radiation being the only thing we can understand of these technologies.
