A military broadcast engineer describes occupational RF experiences, cumulative household sources and mig…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a military individual do I need to remind the less educated concerning the dangers of RF energy. I am a Broadcast Engineer Served aboard the US Ticonderoga with the Spy 1 Radar system as well as other radar and RF communications systems. Do I need to mention the swelling testicles or the eyeballs itching or the digital watched being fried and going black? I guess I do. Now we surround ourselves with: Led bulbs that emit RF radiation. Cellular Phones that emit 4G and 5G radiation and sometimes many in a single household. Laptops Book readers. Alexa units. television sets. Yes your television also emits RF radiation. WIFI routers of which I have 4. 3 for security Cameras and one for Starlink. How about Meshtastic and Meshcore? How about every "smart device" you have? Your video doorbells Every WIFI enabled camera. I have 6 of those. How about that Child Monitor by your baby's bed? Yes that too! CB radio guy wit a base station? Ham radio guy with a base station? Then there is the electrical monitoring system from Emporia Energy of which I have two. As well as every additional special reporting adapters for the freezers and the refrigerator as well as the freeze dryer. Then there are the smart temperature sensors monitors inside the freezers. Oh and the desktop with WIFI and Bluetooth. Bluetooth in my car and the garage door opener. How about that remote for the ceiling fans and the remote for the television? Bluetooth for the irrigation system? That too. Oh and how about that "SMART METER" the electric company put on the side of your home as well as the sides of your neighbor's homes? Those crank out HIGH LEVELS of toxic RF radiation. Then there is the 5G monstrosities every block as well as the Cell Phone towers and all the additional commercial transmitters they stack on them. . . I may have made my point? Perhaps not? ALL of this energy is additive as in 1+1=2+1=3+1=4 Note the above is in my home even though I have tried to wire all that I can with shielded cable. You just can't shut all of the signals off. They keep on transmitting, cabled or not. Imagine each source like a lightbulb, only ones YOU cannot see but any RF meter can. Is your home shielded from all of that? NOT AT ALL! Instead you have to have RF shielding installed at a huge cost. I hung RF shielding curtains on my bedroom wall because of the Smart Meters. We live, eat, dream, and work in heavy RF soup. We are drowning in it. If you own an electric vehicle. YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW what you are being exposed to but be assured long trips are a very bad idea. Tesla charging station? Yes RF radiation! I never had migraines UNTIL LED bulbs were forced on us. But hey, I am saving energy right? What does it matter as HilLIARy Clinton said, that I go blind frequently from scintillating migraines and now recently Ocular Migraines. They are only temporary right? So what is going to be done about it? Back when I was a kid living in Beaver Valley down the Ohio we had a problem with pollution from the steel mills. Reganomics fixed that. He sold that industry over seas and tens of thousands of steel workers were permanently laid off. But hey at least the Ohio river will not catch fire again. Oh and now the snows are not laced with soot. I was 14 when I saw actual WHITE snow for the first time. Boggled my young mind it did. Often I remember the smell of coal fired furnaces, nostalgic I guess. But somehow I really do not thing I will ever be nostalgic about a loss or reduction of EMF constantly hammering me. Perhaps because I will be dead long before our glorious leaders decide to do anything real about all of it. Do you need someone to talk openly about this? Or should I be worried some globalist paid killer is going to come to my door and permanently silence me for simply telling the truth? You know like all those people around the Clinton's and Epstein have. Just try and tell me that isn't true. I am quite sure Vince Foster and Virginia Giuffre would have something to say about that IF THEY COULD. I could say more but what would be the point of tightening the noose already around my neck? Have a nice day and if you want you can delete the stuff about the Hildabeeste and Jeffrey. Oddly enough I have sent DOZENS of messages through the White House feedback nd reporting system. Including about a Secret Service Agent cum whistleblower who was framed (he has the evidence proving it) and should have been pardoned long ago and as it is cannot even get social security though he paid fully into it but somehow the US Customs Service got his deductions deleted. He is 73 years old and Social Security was ordered to pay him years ago and yet he receives nothing. His name is John A. Carman of San Diego California.

Requests independent review of exposure limits, cumulative and nonthermal effects, cancer and reproductiv…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects. I ask HHS to: •Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups. •Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest. •Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools. •Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
For the past 10 years, when I first installed a router into my home to power my desktop computer and smartphone, I've experienced sleep disturbances, headaches and neurlalgia. Telecom companies have a stranglehold on congress with their aggressive lobbying; therefore, I don't expect one damn thing to come of this pathetic (because it's years too late) "inquiry". Fortunately, at least inside your own home, it is still possible to hard wire your internet with ethernet wiring. It is evil and heartless for a society such as ours to force the elderly, many of whom don't understand the skills necessary to navigate this tech heavy society, to have digital "accounts" for every damn business and health relationship necessary to survive.

I have a flip phone that I use only in emergencies. I depend on landline because whenever I use a cell phone for any length of time a burning feeling of pins and needles crawls up my arm. I have computer attached by wire from modem. Wifi disturbs my sleep. The cable company was going to attach a battery pack to the modem, in order to ensure service when electrical service is disrupted. Within 20 minutes I was shaking, despite sitting over 15 feet away. Fortunately the workman was able to quickly return and remove it. The feeling stopped. I have no idea why the installation of the battery pack would cause this. We look at the physical and chemical aspects of the body. We need to start looking at the energetic/electrical as well.

4 years struggling with emf exposure in over 16 countries and almost 1000 Ecco villages. Lack of protection for cells to regenerate. Improper stations of high electromagnetic fields cause cell repair systems to fail. Spraying of toxic heavy metals and micro machinery in global atmospheres causes deadly effects operating as self replicating networks within bodies and towers combined. Healer and conductor of ecovillage development globally. Please remove as many towers as possible. Remove satellites above USA lands. Well globally better. Remove wifi everywhere. And utilize lower band frequencies for messaging. Move towards working with light based technologies that are new and innovative to improve health and well being. Inhibit any spraying above skies including all commercial planes. Educate about heavy metal eradication. Micro machinery eradication. And completely remove any new developments in higher frequency band Thanks so much. Sorry for the short and quick text. Longstanding expert in this field. Love to see this work improving. All the love, Mr chance.

A teacher describes migraines and autoimmune illness, requests independent research into susceptibility a…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am a 51-year-old public school educator living with chronic autoimmune illness. I am submitting this comment because I believe the potential health consequences of prolonged exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and radiofrequency (RF) radiation deserve serious, independent scientific investigation, particularly among individuals with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. I experience chronic inflammation, migraines, fatigue, and episodes of significant physical malaise. Over the years, I have observed that some of my most severe symptoms appear to coincide with environments containing extensive wireless infrastructure. In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdowns, new 5G cellular towers were installed in my area. During this period, I began experiencing frightening physical symptoms while traveling along interstate highways. On multiple occasions, I experienced episodes of apparent loss of consciousness while riding as a passenger. I also experienced painful bladder spasms that seemed to occur when traveling near certain cellular towers. These experiences became so debilitating that I struggled to travel on interstate highways. I purchased a silver-infused garment marketed for electromagnetic shielding and began wearing a Q-Link pendant, which I continue to wear daily. My career as a public school teacher raises additional concerns about occupational exposure and children’s health. Today’s classrooms are saturated with wireless technology. In my school, every student has a chromebook, and each classroom contains two enormous interactive smartboards. Wireless networks operate continuously throughout the school day, with dozens of devices communicating simultaneously. I experience migraines, inflammation, fatigue, and general malaise that interfere with my ability to function comfortably throughout the school day. Teachers spend approximately seven to eight hours daily in these environments, often for decades. Children spend much of their developmental years surrounded by wireless infrastructure. I question whether sufficient independent, long-term research has examined the cumulative effects of these exposures, particularly among individuals with existing inflammatory, neurological, or autoimmune conditions. I respectfully request that HHS prioritize the following areas of investigation: 1. Autoimmune and inflammatory responses: Investigate whether chronic RF exposure influences inflammatory pathways, immune regulation, oxidative stress, or symptom severity in individuals with autoimmune disease. 2. Neurological and autonomic symptoms: Examine reported associations between environmental RF exposure and migraines, dizziness, loss of consciousness, bladder dysfunction, fatigue, and other neurological or autonomic disturbances. 3. Individual susceptibility: Investigate whether certain populations, including individuals with chronic illness, experience different physiological responses to environmental electromagnetic exposure. 4. Cumulative exposure in schools: Conduct independent assessments of RF exposure in classrooms containing numerous student devices, wireless access points, and interactive smartboards. Evaluate both actual exposure levels and long-term health outcomes. 5. Existing safety standards: Reevaluate whether current RF exposure guidelines adequately address chronic exposure, evolving wireless technologies, and potential biological effects beyond established thermal mechanisms. 6. Exposure reduction: Investigate practical strategies for reducing unnecessary wireless emissions in educational settings, including wired connections and alternatives to continuous wireless connectivity. 7. Research integrity: Ensure that studies are independently funded, transparently conducted, and designed to investigate potential risks without predetermined conclusions. I recognize that personal observations do not establish scientific causation and that existing research has not consistently demonstrated that symptoms attributed to electromagnetic exposure are caused by RF radiation. Yet, the symptoms are real, and individuals reporting them deserve serious medical attention and rigorous scientific investigation. The absence of conclusive evidence of harm should not be treated as proof that every potential long-term health consequence has been adequately investigated. As an educator, I am particularly concerned about the widespread adoption of wireless technologies in schools without sufficiently examining possible consequences for vulnerable students and employees. I'm not advocating the abandonment of technology, but for responsible research, transparency, appropriate precaution, and informed public policy. People living with chronic illnesses should not have to choose between participating fully in society and protecting their health. Our technological capabilities should never advance faster than our willingness to investigate their potential consequences.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a person affected by Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. 1. In order to maintain internet access after moving home in 2011 we were obliged to exchange our old wired modem for the newer style « livebox ». Being concerned about RF & WIFI radiation we always used ethernet cable to connect the pc to the new modem in order to avoid using WIFI. At around the same time we also changed to a newer pc (with WIFI capability) and continued to use ethernet cable to connect it to the « livebox ». Soon after arriving at the new home I began to experience unprovoked episodes of fearfulness. These episodes occurred at all times of the day and night. By chance we discovered that even though we used ethernet cable for internet access the « livebox » default setting was emitting WIFI. Having disabled the « livebox » WIFI we hoped that the episodes of fearfulness would end. However this was not the case. Researching further we discovered that the new pc’s default setting was also enabling WIFI. Having also disabled the pc WIFI the unpleasant episodes of fearfulness ended. 2. Having lost our fixed telephone due to storm damage in 2023 we bought a mobile telephone to replace it. This phone causes a warm tingling sensation in the skin, so is kept in a far corner of the house – rendering it useless for receiving calls since the telephone system permits insufficient time for us to access it before it cuts to voicemail. Now that daily life is ruled by smartphone access to almost everything we find ourselves excluded. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed not only by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health. The experiences of individuals and families who report being affected have been thus far ignored and belittled. These experiences must be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals, families, health care providers, independent researchers, with an opportunity to finally be heard on this critical public health issue.

Requests a moratorium on 5G small-cell deployment and preservation of local siting authority. Raises heal…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Across the nation many residents are concerned about the small cell wireless antennas being deployed in our community. These powerful antennas, part of the next generation of wireless technology (5G), are being placed in close proximity to our homes, schools and other places where we engage in the activities of our daily lives, even though there is no science that assures their safety. This is an undeniable risk. The rapid rollout of the next generation in wireless communications known as “5G." In neighborhoods like ours across America, so-called “small cell” antennas need to be installed close to homes and apartments to facilitate this new technology. The deployment raises serious issues that should concern everyone in our community: safety, security, privacy, property values and health. The FCC’s human exposure guidelines for the radio frequency (RF) microwave radiation used for this technology are decades out of date and the agency has dismissed the results of decade-long research on RF microwave radiation and human health completed last year by the National Toxicology Program that showed “clear evidence of carcinogenicity.” Because the health and safety of our families is at stake, we demand a moratorium on further deployment of 5G until it can be proven safe. NOTE: This is a security and privacy issue. Wireless networks are relatively easy to hack compared to fiber-optic wired networks. Data from your phone and other wireless personal or home devices can be easily captured and marketed. In addition, small cell installations have the capacity to house cameras for facial recognition, as they do in China. What guarantees do we have that the technology will not be abused? This is a safety issue. Local zoning codes are meant to protect our safety, but the wireless industry is fighting those codes. Most existing utility poles (the preferred location for small cell antennas because it’s cheap) were not designed to withstand the hundreds of pounds of additional equipment, and severe weather events could bring down the poles, causing damage to our homes and property. Our local officials should have the right to decide where those new antennas and their equipment are placed. But perhaps most troubling is the news about our health. A recent (2018) peer-reviewed study by the National Toxicology Program of the National Institutes of Health – the most prestigious health research organization in the world – proved that exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation, the kind emitted from all wireless devices and their infrastructure, causes cancer and DNA damage. Not maybe. Their language says there was “clear evidence of carcinogenicity.” We urge you to visit www.AmericansForResponsibleTech.org to learn more about these issues and what you can do to protect your home and family.
