Proposes that polarization makes human-made EMFs more biologically active through interference and ion-ch…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
All types of man-made EMFs/EMR – in contrast to natural EMFs/EMR – are polarized. Polarized EMFs/EMR can have increased biological activity, due to 1) Ability to produce constructive interference effects and amplify their intensities at many locations. 2) Ability to force all charged/polar molecules and especially free ions within and around all living cells to oscillate on parallel planes and in phase with the applied polarized field. Such ionic forced-oscillations exert additive electrostatic forces on the sensors of cell membrane electro-sensitive ion channels, resulting in their irregular gating and consequent disruption of the cell’s electrochemical balance. These features render man-made EMFs/EMR more bioactive than natural non-ionizing EMFs/EMR. This explains the increasing number of biological effects discovered during the past few decades to be induced by man-made EMFs, in contrast to natural EMFs. Scientific Literature: -The fetal stage of life is the most vulnerable to any toxic exposure. Kaiser researcher Dr. De-Kun Li (2017) performed a robust prospective cohort study of over 900 pregnant women revealing the strong association between exposure to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation from a variety of sources and miscarriage with nearly a 3 fold increase risk. This study supports and strengthens prior research. He states, “This study provides fresh evidence, directly from a human population, that MF non-ionizing radiation could have adverse biological impacts on human health.” -Relationship between the Exposure to Magnetic Fields during Pregnancy and Risk of Abortion: A Review Article. Reports lasting EMR intolerance beginning during the 2010 wireless rollout, with numerous symptoms and lo…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
In 2010, I was permanently injured by electromagnetic radiation (EMR) from cell towers during the 4G rollout and the analog-to-digital TV signal transition.. I was left unable to tolerate all forms of wireless, electricity, the sun for many years and even x-rays. As a 25-year airline pilot, I had to stop flying because I could no longer tolerate hotel Wi-Fi or aircraft radar. The radiation levels in my home where I was injured were 800 times higher than inside my aircraft. This injury cost me my career, health, travel capabilities, ability to have children, and millions of dollars in lost wages and pension. I face ongoing injuries inside and outside my home from cell towers, neighbours' Wi-Fi, TV/radio antennas, radar, satellites, and consumer devices. Because Canada lacks radio-free areas, I had to leave my family for years to live in the radio-free zone of Green Bank, WV. Prior to that , I met with Industry Canada, alongside Frank Clegg, former President of Microsoft Canada, to establish a radio-free zone in Canada. Despite Port Franks, Ontario and its municipality agreeing to host Canada’s first radio-free zone, Industry Canada told us they would legally block any attempts to establish a zone, asserting that no area in Canada could be without cell service. This lack of accommodation has caused immeasurable suffering, leading to homelessness, suicide, and people now accessing MAiD. Those affected cannot access healthcare due to hospital and clinic Wi-Fi. Adults with serious forms of this injury cannot work, children cannot attend school, and the elderly cannot live in nursing homes. There is a lack of empathy and care for this inconvenient group of people who most definitely are reacting to electromagnetic radiation, even if our health authorities won’t investigate it and or act appropriately on their reports of injury. As a patient advocate in Ontario, I have helped hundreds of individuals with electromagnetic injuries globally. Regardless of underlying co-factors, all these injuries occurred following exposure to electromagnetic radiation. My Symptoms: My symptoms at the time of my permanent injury included: Tinnitus Diminished quality of sleep Profound and sudden vision loss Sudden unexplained progressive weight gain Skin pigment changes (loss of pigment in some areas, gaining of pigment in others) Total loss of freckles, which I had since childhood Lack of tanning with sun exposure when tanning was easy for me previously Hormonal changes (Extreme hair growth on arms, cystic acne for the first time in my life, extremely heavy periods) Tissue swelling accompanied by skin colour changes when exposed to radiation - turning my skin red and eventually purple if I didn’t reduce exposure Nausea and vomiting Immense fatigue Tissue heating of parts of my hands and arms when walking through one location of my home Repetitive strong shocking, carrying a large charge in my body New chemical allergies and severe allergic reactions to foods (including meat) Serious adrenal insufficiency - lack of cortisol production Looking back, I believe I was being thermally heated far below the Safety Code 6 levels, that led to my brain swelling, which put pressure on my pituitary gland and optic nerve, and resulted in many of my symptoms listed above. My observations of electromagnetic injures and co-factors which may have made people more vulnerable to injury: Exposures to radiation itself - For Example I met a couple who stayed over at a Canadian Airforce Base in Ontario, and they both became permanently injured from the radar on the same night. Exposures to Pesticides and other chemicals Taking Ciprofloxacin Having heavy metals in their body - For example, high mercury, aluminum, iron or copper levels. I have seen many vegetarians who became injured later, potentially from high levels of copper as they are missing zinc from not having meat in their diet. Being exposed to Lyme disease or West Nile Virus (previous encephalitis) Electrical Shock Gamma Scan exposures MRI exposures - Single to patient and cumulative to staff Mold Exposures Carbon Monoxide Exposures Concussions Genetic issues - For example, the inability to detox, the inability to process certain nutrients that might lead to lack of myelin, etc. Anything that has compromised the blood brain barrier Potentially Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome or Connective Tissue Disorders - leading to MAST Cell Activation Syndrome I’ve also observed that the digitization of the frequencies themselves has led to injuries from electromagnetic radiation. For example, I used a 900 MHz analog cordless phone for 10 years with no problems, but I was not able to tolerate a digitized DECT phone at 2.5 GHz. Thank you for the opportunity to submit my comments. If I can be of any help, please just ask me. Melissa Chalmers

A family physician requests recognition and coding for EMR syndrome, clinical guidelines, biomarker resea…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a family practice physician, I see patients in my practice who present with symptoms of EMR Syndrome. The core problem I face in treating them is that EMR Syndrome is not a recognized medical diagnosis. There is no ICD code, no diagnostic criteria, no clinical guidelines, no biomarker panel, no medical school training. A family physician who takes a patient's EMF-related symptoms seriously has essentially no institutional scaffolding to work with. Here's what HHS could change to help patients: 1. Create a dedicated ICD-10-CM diagnostic code (the single most important step) Right now, PCPs can only code EHS as a workaround: W90 (exposure to nonionizing radiation) + individual symptom codes (R51 headache, R53 fatigue, G43 migraine, etc.) + R68.8 (other specified general symptoms). The Nordic Council did this in 2000; EUROPAEM recommends it in Europe. HHS could: Petition the WHO ICD Steering Committee (as the US representative) to add a new code to ICD-11, which CMS would then map into ICD-10-CM Or, more quickly, issue a CMS national coverage determination that formally recognizes the W90 + R68.8 combination as a valid diagnostic entity for reimbursement purposes Without a code, insurance won't cover extended visits, environmental assessments, or treatment — so the patient is out of pocket and the PCP has no billing pathway. 2. Issue clinical practice guidelines through AHRQ AHRQ (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality) funds and publishes practice guidelines. HHS could commission an AHRQ-sponsored consensus panel to produce a "Diagnosis and Management of Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome" guideline that defines: A case definition (e.g., ≥2 of the core symptoms + temporal correlation with EMF exposure) A standardized workup (what tests to order, what to rule out) A treatment algorithm (exposure reduction, symptom management) Documentation requirements for coding and insurance There's already a preliminary Canadian guideline by Dr. Riina Ines Bray (University of Toronto, 2016) that could serve as a starting point. 3. Fund and validate biomarker panels through NIEHS/NIH This is the long game but the one that would make ERS a "real" condition in the eyes of the medical establishment. NIEHS could fund: Multi-center studies validating the most promising candidate markers: HRV (heart rate variability) changes, oxidative stress markers, GSTM1/GSTT1 null polymorphisms (nearly 10× more common in EHS individuals), reduced melatonin, elevated histamine, mitochondrial dysfunction markers If NIEHS publishes a validated biomarker panel, PCPs would have an objective test to order — the equivalent of a blood test for an allergy. 4. Mandate medical education HHS (through the National Library of Medicine / NLM and the AAMC relationship) could require: EMF/ERS in medical school curricula — a module on environmental and electromagnetic health effects in the preclinical or clinical years CME credits for continuing education on EHS diagnosis and management A standardized environmental/EMF exposure history form built into electronic health records (EHRs), similar to the tobacco/alcohol history that's now standard Right now, most PCPs have never heard of EHS or have been taught (via WHO guidance) to treat it as psychosomatic. 5. Reverse the "psychosomatic" framing The WHO's 2009 statement — that EHS should be treated as a psychological condition and that "treatment should not focus on reducing EMF exposure" — is the single most damaging document for clinical practice. HHS could: Issue a formal HHS position statement that acknowledges ERS as a valid clinical entity requiring environmental exposure assessment Fund patient advocacy and education through the National Institute of General Medical Sciences This matters because PCPs who are told by the world's top health agency that the condition is "psychosomatic" will not take it seriously, no matter what the patient describes. 6. Create a federal EHS/ERS clinic network Switzerland launched a national EHS consultation service in 2023. HHS could: Designate a small number of academic medical centers as ERS referral centers (similar to the rare disease center model)portunityp Fund outpatient clinics with environmental medicine specialists, occupational hygienists, and EMF measurement equipment Create a telehealth referral pathway so a PCP in rural America can consult with an ERS specialist without sending the patient 500 miles 7. Create CPT reimbursement codes for environmental health assessments CMS could add new CPT codes or expand existing environmental medicine codes to cover these. Please offer another follow-up comment period like this since many of us are just finding out about this opportunity to share our thoughts and clinical experience.

A patient advocate reports RF/EMF injuries and presents an AI-assisted discussion of burning sensations, …

Patient Advocate for Victims of RF/EMF Exposure P.O. Box 1039 Roseville, CA 95678 (916) 692-4999 PatientAdvocateEMF@proton.me October 20,2026 The Honorable Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Secretary U.S. Department of Health and Human Services 200 Independence Avenue, SW Washington, DC 20201 RE: Public Comment on Request for Information (RFI) regarding Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure (Docket No. HHS-OASH-2026-0397) Ladies and Gentlemen: I am a victim, patient, and advocate: This is a tiny portion of my expose, research, and reporting. I have accumulated thousands upon thousands of pages of such information. This information is rough and cursory, but it is the best I can do on such short notice and without reasonable accommodations due to my severe and life-threatening injuries from RF/EMF. In this instance I used AI to help assist in my articulation due to my disability. RF-EMF Burn Patterns-Burn Frequencies-Polonium-Hafnium Amplification-Pulsation-Entrainment-Trauma-Burn Patterns For 2,500,000 micro watts per meter squared of EMF/RF, give me the 3 frequency groupings that could hit me and cause three distinct burning patters such as burning from the outside in, the inside out, and having a high vibrational feeling at the center core of my body causing my skin to slowly burn distinctly from the outside while my inside does not burn. To address your request, we first need to convert your measurement into standard units used in safety guidelines. A value of 2,500,000 micro watts per meter squared of RF/EMF is equal to 2.5 (or ). While this level is notably high for a general living environment, it remains significantly below the FCC public exposure limit of and the threshold required to cause physical thermal "burns" in humans. Physical burns typically require power densities hundreds of times higher than what you've described. However, the three distinct biological "patterns" you mentioned correspond to the way different RF frequency groupings interact with human tissue based on penetration depth: 1. Outside-In: High Millimeter Waves (30 GHz – 300 GHz) Frequencies in the upper millimeter-wave band have very short wavelengths that do not penetrate deep into the body. • Absorption Pattern: Energy is almost entirely absorbed by the epidermis and dermis (the skin). • Sensation: This can cause a "burning from the outside in" sensation or a surface heating effect. • Common Sources: Advanced radar systems or experimental Active Denial Systems (non-lethal weapons) used by the military to create a heating sensation on the skin surface. 2. Inside-Out: Mid-Range Microwaves (300 MHz – 3 GHz) These frequencies have longer wavelengths that can penetrate several centimeters into biological tissue. • Absorption Pattern: Energy reaches internal organs and muscle tissue. Because internal tissues often have higher water content, they can absorb energy more efficiently than the outer skin, leading to "volumetric heating." • Sensation: This creates the "inside out" feeling, similar to how a microwave oven cooks food. • Common Sources: Standard Cellular Networks (4G/LTE/5G) and Wi-Fi routers operate in this range. 3. Core Vibrational / Surface Burn Mix: Low Frequency (3 kHz – 100 kHz) At very low frequencies, the interaction is less about thermal heating and more about induced currents and "electrostimulation." • Absorption Pattern: These waves can penetrate the entire body, reaching the center core. They do not typically cause thermal burns internally but can stimulate nerves and muscles, creating a "high vibrational" or tingling feeling. • Sensation: If the power is extremely high, you may feel internal "vibration" while the high-voltage field simultaneously causes "micro-shocks" or surface irritations on the skin, which can feel like a distinct surface burn while the interior remains thermally cool. • Common Sources: High-voltage power lines or large industrial induction heaters. Now, give me the magnification range where polonium and hafnium are inside my body so that the EMF/RF bounce off the polonium and hafnium creating a magnifying effect. What this means is that the EMF/RF and be magnified (multiplied) so as to be perceived as "being safe" • Reflective Absorption: Conductive metals can reflect and refocus RF energy, which may lead to a localized increase in the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). For example, studies have shown that metallic earrings or dental implants can increase local SAR in nearby tissues by 20–25% at specific frequencies. • The "Antenna" Effect: Some theories suggest that heavy metals in the body can act as miniature conductors, potentially increasing an individual's sensitivity to EMFs, though this is primarily discussed in the context of Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS) rather than physical magnification of the signal itself.

Filing HHS RF Comments 2026 Response to: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking public input on the potential adverse health and environmental effects of radiofrequency (RF) radiation, more commonly referred to as wireless radiation. All Links in text and any attached pdfs hereby incorporated by reference. [Summary statement appended at the end.} Filed on 10/18/26 Response to: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking public input on the potential adverse health and environmental effects of radiofrequency (RF) radiation, more commonly referred to as wireless radiation. All Links in text and any attached pdfs hereby incorporated by reference. For the record. To whom it may concern – The Human Cost of Ever-Increasing RF Exposure at Toxic Levels SUMMARY Statement: With respect to HEALTH EFFECTS, the province of HHS, and the failure of the FCC in not changing their RF safety standards, people today not only get exposed to different and more biologically harmful RF frequencies then did decades ago when they set those standards, and for far longer periods of time. The FCC has also failed to take into account the extremely adverse effects that research over the past three decades has shown that microwaves can have, and that as RF frequencies increase, and as wavelengths shorten and become more complex, and as it does with 5G, that harmful biological effects increase as well. Despite the promotional advertising claims of the telecom industry, with respect to 5G (or RF in any frequency) "no safety testing" and "proven safe" DO NOT mean the same thing - a clear violation of the precautionary principle. Important replicated effects, observed in many different laboratories at very low levels of RF exposure, includes neurological damage in animals such as leakage of the blood brain barrier. In February of 2020 Blue Cross Blue Shield released a report that provides strong supporting evidence of an unprecedented increase in early onset Dementia, confirming an increase in Early Onset Dementia or in Alzheimer’s in humans AS PREDICTED from this research. According to this report, in the 4 years between 2013 and 2017, early-onset dementia and Alzheimer’s disease combined diagnosis rates TRIPLED for adults aged 30 to 64, going up from 4.2/10,000 adults to 12.6/10,000 adults. Autism in children shows a similar unprecedented increase. According to National Health data released in 2020, autism incidence among Irish children is now at 4.3%, an 82% rise in five years. One in 16 boys is affected." And given the recent Covid-19 pandemic, it seems important to emphasize that having a leaky blood-brain barrier - at the same time as having a viral infection - does NOT seem a good thing, and may well explain the brain damage and inflammation reported in some Covid-19 cases. And as Panagopoulos has shown in his 2019 review, the extreme and unpredictable variability of real-life cell phone signals - which 5G will markedly increase - results in ever more complex and biologically harmful signals to living cells/organisms.”] Also, with respect to long term health effects, FCC has failed to take into account the extremely adverse effect that digital technologies such as the recent roll-out of 5G and now of AI data centers have had and will have on CLIMATE CHANGE. This issue, the impact that digital technologies have on climate change through its carbon footprint - almost entirely unreported by the media - includes the expected doubling of our human carbon footprint - from 4% to 8%, 2,400 million tons of CO2 by 2025. And worse, by 2028 the projected energy demands of AI predict that it could consume as much electricity annually as 22% of U.S. households, adding and at least as much, or more, environmental, pollution. Given the failure of the FCC to address this situation, despite the publication of thousands of peer-reviewed scientific research papers documenting the environmental and human health costs of human RF exposures and of the digital technologies now in common use, I urgently recommend that HHS address this problem in accordance with this research and give this task the highest priority. Thank you. Requests research on cumulative wireless exposure and vulnerable populations, describes pain after a head…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct the same thorough independent review of exposure limits as other respondents have suggested, however. my most pressing concerns lie within groups of already compromised and vulnerable people. Any review undertaken by HHS needs to consider those most heavily exposed, the most severely impacted, and needs to examine effects beyond tissue heating. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. The papers by Melnick and Moskowitz (2026 analysis of animal data)(https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6), Lai and Levitt’s review of technical features of wireless exposures (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps with her proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583) warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups: especially vulnerable groups of people with a history of head injury. I ask that exploration be made into links between shearing injury (DAI, TAI, and CHI) and CTE (or TES, Traumatic Encephalopathy Syndrome) from exposure to Radio Frequency Radiation and the ensuing VGCC activation (indicated by Martin Pall, 2022 in"Low Intensity Electromagnetic Fields Act via Voltage-Gated Calcium Channel (VGCC) Activation to Cause Very Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease: 18 Distinct Types of Evidence", https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35114921 ). It is my personal observation that the causal relationship between RFR and Alzheimer's may extend to another Tauopathy, TES (or CTE). If I were to describe my experience after a shearing injury, it would be decades of pain and impairment via exposure to wireless, cellular, microwave, flickering lights operating in radio spectrum speed, and other RFR... decades of pain and impairment after exposure to radio frequency radiation, most probably because of VGCC activation, similar to post concussive syndrome. Or as frequently repeated post concussive events. Maybe that leads to CTE. Thank you for your attention.

Reports migraines and fingertip burning with newer technology, improvement after returning to an older ph…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have concerns the technology in question is altering the way our bodies can heal and is interfering with our natural electrical pathways. In the last few years I have experienced migraines often when I’m around technology for long periods of time. I would like to also suggest that the iPhones and their practices of safety be reviewed. I reported stinging in my finger tips after receiving an upgraded phone. I had to revert back to my old phone after a month because of stinging pain. When I retired the issue to Verizon they suggested it was carpel tunnel from holding a phone for too much time. Extreme pain/ burning sensation at the fingertips does not seem anything like carpel tunnel. The pain went away upon switching back to the older model phone suggesting it was indeed a problem with upgraded technology. The battery was not over heating and it was something else. Please hold accountable tech companies so radiation poisoning and other tech forced upon a population should only be implemented with a clean bill of health. Thank you.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
They put up a cell tower at the local park. I sat very near it for a couple of hours. When I got home, I had a headache that lasted for 6 days. I don't get headaches, except around cell towers... repeated, and it happened again. I can't sleep well with Wi-Fi on at night. I turn it off. If I'm exposed for a long time during the day outside my house (don't use Wi-Fi) and then at home, I get extremely tired. I can wear EMF protective clothes; that's the only option. I've noticed that people with pre-existing conditions are affected symptomatically. Others may not feel the effects even though the frequencies affect mitochondrial cell function and metabolism. I know people that cannot function outside their house for long, due to EMF frequencies. The public is not given informed consent, and this has been ignored for years. What happened to the Precautionary Principle? There is a lot of research on this, so I won't attach it.

Reports worsening pain, weakness and fruit-tree losses amid increasing tower exposure, perceived benefit …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
This study below shows that 3.5 GHz radiation triggers nerve cell death through non-thermal biological mechanisms. Bektas H, Seker A, Ustun R, Dogu S (2026). Neurotoxic effects of 3.5 GHz GSM-like RF exposure on cultured DRG neurons: a mechanistic insight into oxidative and apoptotic pathways. AntennaSearch.com, as of 8/9/2026 shows 107 cell towers and 254 antennas within a 3-mile radius of my house. In the last four years, as this radiation has increased, my fruit trees have sickened and died in numbers not previously known; and my personal inflammation level with its spreading/intensifying pain (along with increasing muscle weakness) has skyrocketed, making walking laborious. I have ceased to be more healthy than my age average, but now am 8-10 years behind the average health of my age group. Five days ago, I installed the first phase of an EMF mitigation system (EarthCalm), and my inflammation and pain has now lessened noticeably and some muscle strength has returned. Radiation has also prevented or greatly slowed my ability to combat infection, as well as hampering my body's ability to detoxify. EMF is damaging not just humans but our pollinating insects, plants, and animals as well. Fungus has been found to grow 600 times more quantity in EMF than in non-EMF circumstances. EMF and RF radiation is markedly harmful in ways not currently acknowledged by the industry. We should not be subjecting ourselves or our environment to this radiation!
