Reports displacement and cognitive symptoms following small-cell activation, unsuccessful appeals to auth…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
#1 Anonymous. #2 Patient: healthy 76 year old female; no current medical conditions, no pharmaceutical or drug usage; (MCS) Multiple Chemical Sensitivity diagnosis (2003) and practices avoidance; never used cell phones due to visual impairments, avoids all wireless devices and infrastructure. #3 In 2023, an omni-directional, 24/7/365 powered, 4G/LTE wireless small cell site was activated on the telephone pole directly supplying electricity to my home. Due to the immediate adverse neurological effects I suffered from the electromagnetic radiation it emitted, I was forced to abandon my property. I became virtually homeless for 6 months because, for a variety of reasons, most landlords, family, and friends felt unable to shut off the cell phones and WiFi in their houses for any length of time. They felt they were too essential. In addition, the number of houses for sale was severely limited at that time and safe EMF locations were nearly impossible to find. The best way I can describe the physical effect of accessing my home, post-activation, is to explain what I first began noticing around 2010 in public places such as libraries, which began offering WiFi. It took me some time to make the connection, because, at first, I didn't believe it was possible. Depending upon the signal strength, I feel as if I'm a lightning rod or radio antenna. I can't tolerate the bio-electrical sensation that is something akin to standing in front of a heat lamp but without feeling the heat, just the intensity. I begin to feel exhausted and within 8-10 minutes, my thinking becomes confused (i.e. I know something is wrong, but I can't quite figure out what it is. I have to work really hard to concentrate in order to power through whatever I was planning to do, but, inevitably, I'm forced to admit that what's happening is real and that I'm beginning to become agitated. Then, a kind of panic sets in, and I just need to get away). When I'm removed from the source and I have something to eat or drink, it takes me about 15-20 minutes to recover fully. When I originally contacted my town building officials about the imminent placement and danger the small cell posed to me as an ADA qualifying individual, they had no knowledge that towers were being sited in our town. They had no authority over the Right of Way, let alone their location or construction. When I sought help from my town government, the Town Council members refused to allow testimony about my situation in a public meeting until an anonymous audience member coerced the committee to "Let them speak." Once again, my local government denied having any authority, and in this case, they demonstrated an unwillingness to acknowledge the electromagnetic radiation issue publicly. When I contacted state agencies including the Department of Health and the Public Utilities Commission for help, they all responded, "It's not in our purview." When I contacted my U.S. Congressional delegates along with every one of my State General Assembly members, I received three responses; two promising to investigate (without followup) and one touting the advantages of wireless technology with no mention of my personal dilemma. Accessing public spaces has become nearly impossible for me due to the proliferation of community-wide wireless infrastructure and devices. THE MOST DANGEROUS PROBLEM FOR ME IS NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCESS HEALTH CARE. Medical points of contact: buildings, hospitals, devices, personnel, and protocols are so completely and complexly wireless, that they pose a significant risk, and even newly-certified medical professionals have never heard of the ADA-qualifying conditions, MCS and EMR-S (Electromagnetic Radiation-Syndrome).>

Reports cancer after living near antennas and proposes a local exposure study, protective setbacks, publi…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
WALLINGTON, NJ: OUR CHILDREN LIVE INSIDE THE SIGNAL, 24 HOURS A DAY. Every person in Wallington lives within half a mile of a cell antenna installation. Most live within half a mile of two or more. I ask HHS to make Wallington a pilot site and to come see it. My full report is attached. ABOUT ME. Szymon Sikorski. Medical degree; 20 years in medical research analysis, the last five on cancer. Parent of a child in Wallington public schools. I write for no institution. For six years I lived and worked from home near the Hathaway Street Park cell tower. Day and night. Then I was diagnosed with cancer. Now I live with it, and with the fear of it getting worse. How much of it came from six years of round-the-clock RF and EMF exposure? No one can tell me. No one ever measured it. PEOPLE SEE ONE TOWER. WE HAVE SIX INSTALLATIONS. They carry more than 70 panels, most hidden in plain sight: on a water tank next to an elementary school, an apartment roof where families sleep directly under eight antennas, a self-storage building, an old water tower and a chimney. You may see a tower 2,000 feet away and miss the antennas much closer to home. Not one has ever been held to Wallington's own 500-foot rule. THE WARNINGS ARE NOT NEW. The World Health Organization's cancer agency (IARC) lists radio-frequency radiation, and magnetic fields from electrical equipment, as possibly causing cancer in humans. In 2019, and again in 2024, its advisers called a new cancer review a high priority. The American Academy of Pediatrics told the FCC its limits do not account for children and pregnant women, and a federal court ordered the FCC to explain how they protect children long term. Firefighters asked for a federal study of antennas on their stations in 2004. It was never done. WHY 1,500 FEET? In Germany and Israel, studies found more cancers among people living within about 1,150 to 1,300 feet of cell antennas. A 1,500-foot buffer covers that distance. Legislators keep proposing 1,500 feet or more from schools; in New Hampshire, 1,640 feet from homes and schools. In Wallington, 83% of homes are within 1,500 feet of an installation. 24 HOURS A DAY, NOT 30 MINUTES. FCC limits were set in 1996 to stop tissue heating, averaged over 30 minutes. They do not count years. Our exposure does not stop after 30 minutes. It never stops. THINK OF ONE WALLINGTON CHILD. She spends her school day at Gavlak Elementary, 180 feet from antennas on the water tank, with three installations within half a mile. Then she comes home, still within reach of more. She sleeps there. In the morning she goes back. Year after year, while her brain and body are still growing, her exposure adds up. No one has ever studied a child like her. Her teachers may spend whole pregnancies 180 feet from those antennas. No one has studied that either. WHAT I MEASURED. In neighbors' homes within 900 feet of the tower, RF read about 7 mW/m². In the park where children play, 20 to 33. Magnetic fields at the tower's base reached 45 mG. All far below FCC limits. Yet studies found effects at these levels: where RF was higher, students scored lower on memory tests, schoolchildren had more DNA damage markers, and residents reported more symptoms. Children in homes averaging above 4 mG had about double the leukemia risk. RISK VERSUS BENEFIT. The Borough collects about $80,000 a year from two of these sites. That is $6.78 per resident per year. About $41 over six years. $41. Against cancer. Against a parent's worry that never ends. THE TOWER COMPANY WILL NOT CARRY THE RISK. The company holding the Hathaway tower lease tells investors it has no significant insurance against RF health claims. Insurers have long excluded these risks. Why are they worried about liability? What do they know that we do not? TOWNS ARE REMOVING ANTENNAS, NOT JUST BANNING NEW ONES. In California, a carrier removed a tower from an elementary school after four students got cancer, even though it tested within federal limits. In New York, a 150-foot tower beside a public housing playground came down after residents objected. India's Supreme Court ordered a tower switched off for a cancer patient who said it hit his home 24/7 for 13 years. Here, no one was even told. Not residents, not parents, not the school. Everyone who understands this now carries one more worry, every day, especially parents. Home values and taxes suffer too; the report covers that. WHAT I ASK. (1) A health-based distance from schools and homes, and moving antennas that are too close, starting on public property. (2) Make every antenna's owner, frequencies and power public. (3) Link cancer and birth records to antenna history. (4) Study children exposed at school and at home, for years. (5) Come to Wallington.

Reports diagnosed EHS, community and animal illness and deaths attributed to towers and meters, extensive…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
MY NEIGHBORS AND ANIMALS ARE DYING I am SICK. My family members have been SICK SINCE more than a hundred UNREGULATED TOWERS WENT LIVE over our community. This has been a challenge for me to get anyone to help in my community. I wanted to share my story in hopes of helping others. My story is one of many in Terrebonne Parish. After multiple (9) 300-foot 5G towers were put over our homes, four 300-foot 5G towers were put over my home and animal sanctuary, and four 300-foot towers were put over my office. At the same time, smart meters were put on my home, along with those of every other Entergy customer. I began getting sick, very sick. It began in my petting area with heart palpitations, headaches, vomiting, ringing in my ears, confusion, bleeding gums, insomnia, nightmares, dizziness, anxiety, ears buzzing 24 hours a day, severe fatigue, muscle weakness, and more. I have now been diagnosed with radiation syndrome / EHS (electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome) caused by extreme exposure to radiation. Many residents are experiencing similar symptoms. Countless children are now suffering. Being a very healthy person my whole life, this has been a life-changing situation. I am usually the one helping others; now I need your help. I never thought this could happen until I was forced to face it by becoming sick. I'm not sure where this illness will take me. However, I must do all I can to protect my family and my community. Seven neighbors on my street and friends have died after the towers went live over their homes. Many other residents are also sick. My community is surrounded by towers that have no regulatory testing information, nor does our planning department ask for it, citing the FCC's outdated RF radiation guidelines. I became certified in RF radiation testing. I now test the towers and smart meters. I can confirm that the EMF (electromagnetic frequency) / RF (radio frequency) radiation being emitted is extreme for every single product, tower, and smart device I have tested. It has been a fight to protect my family, my community, and myself, with EVERYONE CITING THE FCC'S OUTDATED RF RADIATION GUIDELINES. I had to learn all I could about this to protect my health and theirs. I've had to turn my home, where I have lived for 28 years, into an EMF-safe house (until I sell it), as well as my barn, which is surrounded by EMF material and protection. My bed is covered with EMF protection as well due to the radiation levels in my home. I now have to wear protective clothing all day. Leaving my safe area means becoming exposed due to the unbridled towers around me. I am a very private person. This is not easy to share, but if I do not ask for help now, many more innocent people will be sick, or they will die like my neighbors, my friends, and my animals. Since the towers went live, six of my horses have died instantly under the towers. All of my little animals have died. My 200-pound tortoises started going blind. I'm not sure where the daily radiation exposure will take me, so I thought now is the best time to ask for your help in making a change. THE FCC MUST REGULATE THE RADIATION, OR THE DEATH & DESTRUCTION WILL NEVER END. Technology is safe only if it is REGULATED. Always, Shari Champagne

A former computer professional reports recognized disability attributed to residential and workplace expo…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
thank you for this open consultation to all and I would be happy if my testimony could help disabled people like me. My profession was computer science and I became disabled (recognized by the MDPH, a French organization for the recognition of disabilities) following a permanent exposure to excessive radiation: I lived 35 m from a relay antenna (2g, 3g, 4g+) and the office WI-FI box was placed on my work table. I was also surrounded by all kinds of electronic and computer equipment. I spent a lot of time on the phone as part of my duties. I suffered a lot in my body for 2 years without understanding why until a doctor understood that my neurological, cardiac and hormonal problems were induced by the radiation around me. As soon as I went into a white zone, I was better after a while. I had to radically change my life: moving to a gray area, unable to work even with an adaptation of the workstation (disability declared by social security) and social life reduced to nothing because repeated exposure to the waves hurts me. scientific publications on the subject: Hu, C., Zuo, H., & Li, Y. Recounts miscarriages and neurological symptoms during periods of wireless exposure while explicitly reje…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Question 2: I am responding as an individual consumer, a mother, and a member of a household where both adults work from home. I am not a scientist or medical professional. My comments are based on my own experience. My husband has submitted a separate response describing his own experience and measurements. Question 3: From 2022 to 2024 we lived about 400 metres from a mobile phone base station that carried 5G. My husband’s meter readings outdoors facing the mast were much higher than at our current home. Our house also had a lot of wireless technology, including Wi-Fi, several smart speakers, and wireless smart lights, switches and sensors. I worked from home, using my mobile phone regularly, with my desk beside our Wi-Fi router for most of the working day. While living there I had two miscarriages. I also developed tinnitus, anxiety, pressure in my head and difficulty sleeping. When we became aware of possible risks, we removed all the wireless devices from the house after both miscarriages, and in late 2024 we moved to a home further from base stations, where we do not use Wi-Fi and indoor readings are very low. My symptoms went away completely after the move. We conceived without difficulty and I have had a successful pregnancy. In late 2025 my symptoms returned. Only afterwards did we notice that a nearby base station had been rebuilt taller, with six new antennas; the operator has since confirmed the site runs 5G. By late 2026 my symptoms had become unbearable. We now sleep inside a shielding canopy over the bed, and we have fitted shielding to our windows. I understand that miscarriage is common and has many causes, and that other things in our lives changed when we moved. I am not claiming that wireless exposure caused my losses or my symptoms, and I know my observations are not blinded. Some research exists on exposure in pregnancy, including mobile phone use and living near base stations. That gap is why I am writing. Question 11: Pregnant women and unborn children should be a priority population in research and exposure guidance. Simple advice, such as keeping routers away from where people sit for long periods and limiting wireless devices in the home, costs nothing and could be given now. Question 16: I would like independent, publicly funded research into reproductive outcomes, including miscarriage and fertility, in relation to everyday combined exposure at home and at work, using measured exposure rather than estimates based on phone use. Question 18: I am concerned about how quickly new wireless technologies are being installed outdoors and inside buildings, including Wi-Fi throughout schools, where children spend most of their day and have no choice about their exposure. Reviews commissioned by the World Health Organization found very little research on long-term exposure and cognition in children, and one Swiss study of adolescents found an association between mobile phone exposure to the head and poorer memory development, which the authors say needs confirming. I recommend that new technologies and frequency bands are independently assessed for health effects before widespread rollout, and that schools follow France’s approach since 2015: no Wi-Fi in spaces for children under three, Wi-Fi switched off in primary schools when not needed for teaching, and parents told before new wireless equipment is installed. All information in this response is from my own experience and is not peer-reviewed research.

Describes persistent sound and vibration disturbances, sleep loss and extensive unsuccessful investigatio…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Questions 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 and 18 I submit this as a resident concerned about persistent noise, perceived vibrations, health effects, and possible RF/EMF exposure near my home. My family has lived for years in an all-electric home near Whitewater Hill in the Palm Springs area, beside an aging wind farm, with a freeway below and numerous communications and radio towers nearby. In November 2024, I awoke to a loud, high-pitched, sustained sound apparently coming from outside toward the wind farm. Similar sounds and perceived vibrations have continued almost daily and nightly, changing throughout the day and often becoming particularly disruptive late at night or early in the morning. I am concerned about a nearby 5G tower that appears directed toward my home. Its involvement has not been established by testing. The disturbance has caused prolonged loss of sleep, severe headaches, exhaustion and two early-morning hospital visits. I was evaluated for tinnitus and told it did not explain my experience. My hearing specialist added a white-noise setting to my hearing aids. I have reverse-slope hearing loss. I have spent nearly two years and considerable money investigating and trying to obtain relief: Southern California Edison came three times, including at 10 p.m. My solar company inspected its equipment several times. Tesla replaced both costly home batteries multiple times; a senior representative also inspected the equipment. I shut off electricity to the entire house twice for 24 hours. The sound and vibrations continued unchanged. One shutdown damaged a pool pump, costing $2,300. I painted an entire room, walls and ceiling, with RF shielding paint. I purchased and installed special RF shielding curtains. I replaced all household ducting. I reinsulated the attic. I installed a new attic fan. I kept a log of disturbance dates and times. I installed a metal fence intended as shielding. I tried to measure the sustained sound on my phone, but the display only thickened and did not yield useful measurements. I filed a written FCC complaint. I contacted Palm Springs code officials, who referred me to the county. I paid a San Diego company $3,500 to measure frequencies. It tested only during the day and reportedly found a solar-equipment issue; the nighttime disturbance remains unexplained. I contacted the wind farm operator. After I reported noise around 10 p.m., its representative arrived about an hour later, after the sound had stopped. I wrote to a college seeking help through a research project. I sought a tinnitus evaluation; my hearing aids were adjusted for white noise. I purchased white-noise machines. I purchased four EMF hats, two EMF blankets, an EMF nightgown, noise-canceling earmuffs, and marketed EMF-blocking stickers for household electrical equipment. The shutdowns showed that switching off household electricity did not stop the disturbance, but they do not prove that a 5G tower or any other external installation caused it. My purchases do not prove that shielding products are effective. My property formerly had substantial bee activity and was once a bee farm, yet I have observed no bees over the past year. I cannot identify the reason; habitat, weather, pesticides, disease and other factors may matter. I ask HHS to support independent, multi-day and overnight investigation of complaints like mine; coordinated measurements of RF/EMF, audible and low-frequency sound, vibration and electrical interference; public access to relevant tower operating and compliance information; evaluation of cumulative conditions near homes, towers, wind farms and freeways; and better coordination among health agencies, the FCC, utilities and local authorities. Research should examine sleep disruption, headaches and possible environmental effects, including pollinators, without presuming causation. After repeated service calls, private testing, home alterations, government complaints and medical consultations, I still have no explanation. Residents need a practical route to independent testing at the times disturbances actually occur. Please consider this experience when setting research and public-health priorities.

Attributes persistent neurological and sensory symptoms to a nearby cellular dish after an unexplained in…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
In March 2019 my wife and I were working in the yard of our home when we both were suddenly hit by an unusual, unexplained forceful blast that we will never forget. The blast hit us straight on and we were nearly knocked down to the ground by it. It took the air and energy right out of us and left us with an intense ringing in our ears that we continue to experience. We did not know what to do and I wondered if we needed to seek shelter, call the fire department, or call 911. It was that shocking, confusing, and intense. We did not know if the whole area was experiencing this event. It ended up changing our lives for the worse. In the days and weeks following we realized that the tinnitus was always present but lessened in intensity whenever we were away from our home. After researching and thoughtful deductions we came to the conclusion that the source of the forceful blast and our numerous symptoms was the cellular dish that had been installed on the city water tower near our home. Since that time, nearly seven years ago, we have experienced tinnitus, severe sleep loss, brain fog, confusion, dizziness, headaches, burning sensations, fatigue, loss of concentration, memory loss, irritability. These symptoms intensify whenever we are in proximity to EMF sources. All the symptoms we live with became so intense and persistent that we sold our home as quickly as we were able, in order to relocate to a safer place. We now rent and worry if we will need to move again. This has been a negative impact on our physical and mental health as well as our financial well being. The cellular companies are not transparent about the health risks and dangers of their structures, equipment, technology and the Electro Magnetic Forces they are using and producing. They continue to ignore the damage they are doing to the public while only concerning themselves with profits.

Describes close residential tower exposure and a neighbor's pacemaker, and proposes updated standards, de…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Regarding: Request for Information on EMF, RF, and Wireless Radiation Exposure Comment by Dan Feidt, Philadelphia resident. [Question 2 & 3] I am an individual consumer and former resident who experienced chronic, close-range exposure (<25 feet) to cell tower mast hardware on a residential building. This exposure was continuous (24/7), highlighting severe gaps in public safety frameworks. Crucially, another resident in my immediate living environment required a cardiac pacemaker during their residency near this specific transmitter array. This observation necessitates formal tracking to investigate if chronic, close-range residential exposure acts as an environmental stressor or accelerant for cardiac electrical dysfunction, even at levels deemed compliant with outdated standards. [Question 5 & 6: Outdated Exposure Standards] I urge federal health agencies to critically re-evaluate the FCC’s General Population/Uncontrolled Exposure framework (47 CFR § 1.1310). The current Max Permissible Exposure (MPE) limits are structurally deficient: 1. Outdated 1996 Baseline: The framework relies on guidelines adopted in 1996, failing to reflect modern 5G/6G densification, multi-frequency arrays, and multi-family rooftop placements. 2. Thermal Precedent Flaw: The 1996 framework protects only against acute thermal tissue heating over short intervals. It entirely ignores the biological realities of chronic, long-term, non-thermal cumulative exposure. 3. Preemption Gaps: The Telecommunications Act of 1996 blocks local municipalities from restricting placements based on environmental health concerns if they meet FCC limits, leaving residents completely vulnerable with no legal recourse or mandatory safety buffers near living spaces. [Question 7, 8 & 9] - 3D Volumetric Spatial Auditing: Compliance frameworks must evolve past single, static center-of-the-room data points. Testing should require a standardized protocol using an extended pole assembly with a calibrated tri-axial probe to systematically plot electromagnetic energy within every individual cubic meter of residential space to map "exposure hot spots" caused by reflections off internal building materials. - Standardized Inflow Auditing: The government must establish standardized protocols using calibrated, tri-axial isotropic antennas to measure the exact RF energy density and electric field strength entering a private residential unit, cross-referencing this against independent, non-thermal biomedical models. [Question 8 & 9 (Cont.): The "Energy Star" Model & Power Logs] - Transparent Disclosure Labels: Federal health agencies should establish a standardized, consumer-facing labeling framework analogous to the Energy Star metrics for device efficiency. Every residential rooftop mast must feature an accessible public registry placard (and QR link) disclosing maximum transmission intensity, active frequency bands, and licensed directional beamforming pathways. - Weather-Variant Disclosures: Regulators must mandate explicit disclosure of how wireless infrastructure alters its transmission intensity under varying conditions. Providers must declare operational ceilings for Automatic Transmit Power Control (ATPC), as dynamic surges used to compensate for "rain fade" (atmospheric attenuation from rain, snow, or fog) significantly escalate localized exposure compared to baseline clear-weather compliance models. - Mandatory 2-Year Historical Logs: Telecom operators must maintain and provide an accessible, rolling 2-year log detailing the exact power variations, intensity fluctuations, and active frequency bands used by any given mast. This allows residents, epidemiologists, and doctors to retroactively audit and map health changes or cardiac anomalies against real, long-term emission trends. [Question 11 & 12] - Medical Device Interoperability: Current risk evaluation frameworks neglect the spatial density of 5G antennas on residential roofs. The government must modernize safety buffer zones around multi-family residential structures to specifically protect individuals with implanted medical devices (such as pacemakers and defibrillators), ensuring localized fields do not cause unmonitored electromagnetic interference (EMI) over prolonged periods. [Question 17] - Inter-Agency Environmental and Cardiac Cross-Referencing: I urge the HHS to establish a collaborative research pipeline between the FDA, CDC, and FCC to cross-reference localized, time-stamped weather data and documented ATPC transmission surges with localized, anonymous emergency department admissions or remote pacemaker telemetry logs. This targeted research is necessary to determine if sudden, weather-induced spikes in localized RF transmission intensity correlate with acute cardiovascular events or electrical anomalies in implanted cardiac devices among residents living in close proximity to rooftop masts. From Copenhagen, Denmark. Right now I don’t feel the radiation but I’m aware of it’s danger. Perhaps it’s just a question of time before my body tilts. I switch off my internet at night and when I don’t use it and I keep my phone in a protective cover and never wears it on my body. Ther are many more ways to protect yourself, but they are very pricy. I have several 5G towers close to were I live and when I look at them I’m thinking of how much radiation they send into my body. Next year I think we are going to have smartmeters installed, but I will do what I can to prevent it.
