There are many things that need to be addressed. Cell towers should have to be a minimum distance away from schools, hospitals, neighborhoods. I say that distance is 500 meters, but right now I believe there is no minimum distance. Wireless routers should be limited to as few as necessary in schools. There is too much incentivizing the proliferation of wireless tech in schools. Light is also an EMF and therefore should be considered in this too. There's an abundance of research on healthier artificial light sources. Unfortunately, healthy light spectrum doesn't line up with energy efficiency. The energy efficiency of LEDs has been oversold and the light spectrum of LEDs has negative health consequences. We should look into healthier light sources such as incandescent and halogen. The lighting should be full spectrum and have low or no level of flicker. Fluorescent lights should be banned altogether. There are studies that show that the spectrum of light produced by most fluorescents makes ADD worse. Well, that's the lighting in every school. And LED isn't much better. Lastly, the state of our electrical grid should be taken into consideration for a few different reasons. The amount of harmonic distortion or transient distortion, better known as "dirty electricity", is a huge and increasing problem on our grid and it is know to causes health issues, such as tinnitus, ringing in the ears. Almost everyone today suffers from some degree of tinnitus. Another problem is high magnetic fields, from things such as unbalanced loads and wire spacing, in our neighborhoods. Lastly, ground currents are a huge problem with out grid. Electricity comes to the home from the power station on the "hot" line and electricity is supposed to go back, in the form of current, on the "neutral". Most of our electricity doesn't go back on the neutral, instead it goes back on the earth in the form of ground currents. This is an established problem with animals on farms, most notably dairy farms. It is having an effect on people too. There are many experts in this area. Our electric is put up and in the ground and maintained by a bunch of sub-contracted "cowboys". They are paid to put it in the ground or in the air by the foot and their M.O. is to get it done as quick as possible. I know industry rules, but maybe practices can be changed that don't hinder progress too much. There are well established experts on all of these topics. If nothing gets done regarding any of these issues, it will only serve to further erode the trust of government in the eyes of the people. The people deserve a quick resolution to a lot of these issues and more.

I liberty in Tipp City OH, off of Evanston. For the past 18 months there has been an increased about of static and buzzing noise inside my house. So loud at night, I have trouble sleeping. Lot if power lines running behind my house and more being added at power grid station down end of field. Can't be good for our health or our property value. Very concerned.

I have experienced negative effects from both major kinds of EMFs: RF and what is commonly called dirty electricity from power cords and appliances. At one point, I could not even use a computer mouse for extended periods of time because it would cause pain in that hand that would immediately cease once lifting my hand. With RF, similarly, after 10-15 mins of exposure, I experience symptoms of headaches or a general fuzziness that is hard to describe. Avoiding these sources allows recovery and reduced sensitivity, and ability to withstand longer periods of exposure. My biggest concern is the lack of safety guidelines for things like localized 5g towers, and a general ignoring of expert calls for reevaluation, such as the bio initiative report. Recently, using an EMF meter, I have detected highly unsafe levels of electric radiation from underground powerlines running parallel to sidewalks, presenting an eminent danger to pedestrians, especially those who have to walk repeatedly along the same routes every day. I have also detected huge spikes in RF radiation near small cell towers and have seen them placed on schools and extremely close to residential apartments and houses.

Inform general practitioners that they should register and notify the HHS (e.g. via an online form) when a patient reports adverse health effects related to EMF or RF-EMF exposure. To our knowledge, nothing is being systematically reported or registered when patients discuss these issues with their practitioner. We are sometimes contacted by affected individuals because nurses at clinics recommend contacting us. 2. Initiate a survey among general practitioners to provide an estimate of how often patients report having EMF or RF-EMF-related issues. 3. Set up an online form in which people who personally experience adverse health effects related to EMF or RF-EMF exposure can state which symptoms (headache, insomnia, dizziness, etc.) they experience and in which settings (scrolling on a smartphone, staying somewhere close to a cell tower, traveling by bus/train, going to a concert, etc.). 4. Make general information about how to lower exposure when using a cellphone widely available to the public. There are 1009 studies that already tell us exactly what the problems are with EMFs and how they affect the human body. There is nothing positive about the outcomes of these studies with respect to the damage caused by EMFs. These study should be the basis for any decision-making going forward and they should be taken seriously. Then moving forward, there should be more serious studies done and there should be a halt to all this 5G 6G nonsense along with data centers and high-powered transmission lines that have been installed in order to supply power to them. Another source of EMFs running through our neighborhoods and close proximity to schools and businesses. You already know the answers, you’re just too cowardly and greedy to do anything about the truth. It’s time to do the right thing and stop talking about it.

I support the study of electromagnetic fields and associated regulations that protect the public. I am a volunteer with Save Temecula, a nonprofit organization formed in 2026 to fight San Diego Gas and Electric’s proposed Golden Pacific Powerlink featuring 145-mile long 200’ tall 500,000 volt extra high voltage power towers/lines through a densely populated area of Temecula, CA. This is the largest and most invasive project SDG&E has undertaken through a well-established urban area. As a volunteer, I have spoken with thousands of residents who say one of their major concerns, behind wildfires, is EMF exposure. This project would be only hundreds of feet from homes, businesses, schools, churches, daycare centers, playgrounds, parks, walking paths, an historic district, etc. This investor owned utility downplays our concerns, saying that studies find EMF harm to be inconclusive; they compare exposure to our microwave ovens that we generally use for minutes rather than on an ongoing basis. However, residents are so concerned that they are willing to move elsewhere if the power towers are approved by the California Public Utilities Commission. In less than five months, more than 12,000 people have signed a change.org petition against this project and in just a couple months, more than $30,000 has been raised to fight it. Additionally, I have a friend whose husband died of brain cancer, which adds to my suspicion of EMFs. She and her husband purchased a home in foreclosure overlooking the Southern California Edison extra high voltage lines in Corona. This young man’s past time was working in their beautiful backyard. Furthermore, some of our community leaders and local utility experts have extensively studied EMFs, and they have concluded this is potentially harmful to human health. I believe the SDG&E Golden Pacific Powerlink project (which will be filed with the California Public Utilities Commission mid-November 2026) and others like it should be placed on hold until Federal studies have concluded. A new high voltage transmission line was placed in my front yard in Granger, Tx without public comment in 2024. My symptoms of MS have flared significantly and now we add Psoriasis to my autoimmune disease list. This action by Oncor is forcing me out of my newly renovated forever home for my disability.This is not natural MA progression to add new issues. My body is electrically short circuiting with no new lesions or degradation of nerves.

Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with multiple tickborne illnesses, and in the midst of it, I discovered I was exposed to black mold. During the last phase of recovery, I moved into a beautiful home and every evening I felt like I was having a panic attack, but it happened in cycles like every cell was being stung and vibrating. My upper diaphragm would hurt my heart would race, my thoughts would race. It would happen in 30 second intervals. It was completely strange. I knew my body well enough by then to understand that I was sensing something, but if you had told me what it was or that people could sense these things before this moment, I would’ve told you you were making it up. The landlord, being the gentleman was, listened and was curious. We realized two things. One, in the evening he was plugging his car into the home. I could tell him the moment he unplugged it and the moment he plugged it in. He began using an extension cable, and that stopped the transmission for reasons. I don’t completely understand, but he did. He’s a complete nerd and dove deep as soon as he realized my body was physically sensing the car charging. How could that be possible. But there was another piece that I was also sensing. His daughter also suffering for migraines, was sleeping 6 feet away from the automatic meter reader that was transmitting data. It began speaking with my doctor and she told me she had other patients who were dealing with similar illnesses that could also sense EMF and radiation. Because the daughter was dealing with migraines and the Landlord was curious, they had somebody come off and take the meter off the house for a few hundred dollars and instead somebody comes out every few months and reads it (I forget the name between these two whether it’s automatic or something that people have to read.) My symptoms immediately went away, and I can sleep at night and the daughter no longer has migraines after a couple of weeks. I’ve been told by my doctor that as her patients recover, they don’t detect these things the same way, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t interfering with the cellular function in her mind and according to the research she’s been sending me. If you had told me about the problems, this brought into peoples lives, I wouldn’t have thought twice. I just would’ve said that must be awful and sounds like a conspiracy theory. Except I lived it. I can’t tell you how happy I am that the government is willing to look into this. It has made moving very difficult. It has made travel very difficult. it has made finding a home that’s affordable virtually impossible. I have too many restrictions between mold exposure EMF radiation exposure. It’s something I want us to think about in regards to data centers as well as power stations and power lines. Oddly I’m nowhere near is worried about my phone and the Internet as I am these towers stations centers, and the meters that are on the homes all of which have been rolled out to be these automatic ones that are constantly sending your data. There have been a couple of counties that have made it illegal to replace them because of the amount of physical complaints going on in the community. The fact that this government is looking at both mold and EMF and tending to Lyme disease is a dream come true. I can’t thank you all enough.
