Hello,
My name is Gloria Frank. My health was horribly harmed when a Smart Meter was installed on my home in March of 2012.
Thankfully, the Smart Meter was removed in 2013, and the analog meter was re-installed due to our PUC (Public Utilities Commission) who voted we could choose to have the Smart meter removed.
I am a 30 year researcher on all topics regarding health and wellness. When I became harmed, I researched all the prominent websites that were honest and informative on the facts of just how harmful wireless radiation is to the human body, to animals and to the whole world.
In 2014 I became and educator, teacher and mentor in which I assist people who were suffering like I was from wireless radiation.
In 2013, I hired a Professional EMR (Electro Magnetic Radiation) consultant to teach me how to remove all the wireless radiation from my home, how to shield my home with a shielding paint so my neighbors wireless devices would not harm my health even more.... and my analog meter was re-installed for a very small fee.
I am unable to be in close proximity to all wireless devices, and no one is allowed to come into my home with any wireless devices: cell phone, blue tooth, watches, computers,iPads.....and the list goes on.
Wireless radiation emits radiofrequency (RF) energy, a type of non-ionizing radiation that current major public health agencies categorize as a possible human carcinogen.
Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as Group 2B (possibly carcinogenic) based on an increased risk for brain and heart tumors.
Reproductive Health: Studies link frequent trouser-pocket storage of active mobile phones to reduced sperm counts, lower motility, and potential DNA damage.Cellular Stress: Laboratory findings suggest RF exposure can induce oxidative stress and minor biochemical adjustments.
Vulnerable Groups: Children absorb higher proportional doses of radiation in head and skull bone marrow tissue compared to adults due to thinner skull bones and developing nervous systems.
Effects on Animals and Wildlife Laboratory Studies: Recent systematic reviews backed by health organizations indicate high certainty that long-term, high-intensity wireless RF radiation links to specific tumor types in animals and humans.
There is an active community of advocacy groups, specific research institutes, and independent scientists who argue that current exposure guidelines are outdated and that low-level, non-thermal wireless radiation poses biological and environmental risks.
The most prominent groups, research entities, and individuals associated with this viewpoint include:
Recognized Advocacy & Research GroupsThe Environmental Health Trust (EHT): Led for years by epidemiologist Dr. Devra Davis, Environmental Health Trust publishes literature and campaigns for stricter public policy regarding wireless infrastructure, 5G, and cell phone radiation.
They successfully sued the FCC to force a review of its 1996 testing guidelines. The Ramazzini Institute: A respected independent scientific organization based in Italy. Their large-scale animal studies looked at environmental levels of radiofrequency radiation (similar to cell tower emissions) and reported a potential link to certain types of tumors, replicating some findings of the U.S. government's National Toxicology Program (NTP) study. The BioInitiative Working Group: An international collaboration of scientists and public health professionals that published the BioInitiative Report. The report argues that existing safety limits are thousands of times too high to protect against non-thermal biological effects.
Navigation and Behavior: Environmental studies report that low-level electromagnetic fields can disrupt the magnetic compass orientation used by migratory bird species.Insects and Ecosystems: Higher frequency bands (including 5G and broadband spectrums) overlap with frequencies that can act as environmental stressors on small insects, causing motor disturbances or behavioral changes.
The most important fact is human health globally is being compromised and millions of people are suffering from exposure to Wireless Radiation.
'
Thank you, Gloria Frank * Safe technology Educator
I strongly support HHS taking an active role in researching and addressing the potential health concerns from wireless radiation. I am a parent and make much effort to reduce my family’s exposure through many ways. I have a child who suffers from headaches made worse by wireless radiation. There are valid concerns and health risks that come with unfettered use of wireless radiation. Please stop making parents, caregivers and patients go it alone to try and remidiate our exposure and its effects all on our own, while more and more towers are built where we live, work and go to school. Thank you.
I’m writing on behalf of our daughter. She has severe mast cell and any close proximity to a phone, Wi-Fi, home smart meter, throws her into anaphylaxis. Please stop with all the towers near homes , schools etc.

I am responding from the perspective of a concerned parent.
My church has a cell tower in the steeple and my church leadership is not concerned about it. I am considering changing churches for this reason. I feel that I should not have to choose between leaving a place where I have deep spiritual roots and protecting the health of myself and my young children. High level wireless radiation should not be permitted in close proximity public spaces like houses of worship.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
I remember the first time I started to notice the ringing in my ears was when we first got a wifi router and it would keep me awake if someone turned it on so I would make sure and turn it off at night. Now the ringing in my ears is non-stop and so loud that I find it hard to sleep and have insomnia now. I hate it so much. We need to remove all the 5G towers away from homes and schools. My kids and myself all deal with many headaches. I worry about what it is doing to their brain development. I find it hard to focus during the day with the ringing in my ears as well. Please make laws to move towers away from homes and schools. Our children should not be subjected to this.

I attend Weston A. Price meetings where doctors show studies outlining the adverse health effects to our constant exposure to EMF's. Also, in my cancer support group, we have practitioners talk about ways to cut back on our exposure. 5G has never been thoroughly tested and Israel, New Zealand and Australia are some of the countries that restrict how close cell towers are to schools. If the information provided with the purchase of a cell phone releases them from any liability, that says a lot.

I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I have electro magnetic radiation syndrome (diagnosis code W90.0). I was intensely exposed seven years ago and have had to change entirely how I live my life. I have to live in a basement and the entire apartment is wired. I have limited access to public places, and can't be around very many people. I had to stay in a hospital and was very ill shortly after discharge. I am a ,ember of emrsyndrome.org, which has helped save my health greatly! I am hoping that HHS Kennedy's investigation will help save many lives!
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I live close to 6 cell phone towers. I am worried about 6G and higher and how it affects our bodies and the birds and animals as well. I don't think there has been enough research done on this to date.

EMF POTENTIAL HARMS NEED IMMEDIATE STUDY
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure\.
I am responding from the perspective of a parent of three children who have grown up immersed in an increasingly wireless environment, with exposure to 5G and other sources of radiofrequency radiation becoming a routine part of daily life\. As a parent, I am concerned about what this continuous and expanding exposure may mean for my children and for future generations\.
Unlike previous generations, children today are growing up surrounded by wireless devices, Wi\-Fi networks, cellular infrastructure, and increasingly widespread 5G technology from an early age\. This makes it especially important to understand the potential health implications of long\-term, cumulative exposure during childhood and adolescence\.
My concerns are not based on a desire to draw conclusions beyond what the scientific evidence supports\. Rather, they come from the responsibility I feel as a parent to understand the potential risks associated with an environmental exposure that my children encounter every day and that is becoming increasingly difficult to avoid\.
I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation\. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health\. The experiences and concerns of individuals and families should be considered alongside the scientific evidence, particularly when evaluating long\-term exposure and potential effects on children\.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate the existing scientific evidence, investigate areas where important questions remain unanswered, identify gaps in current research, and give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations\. I also encourage HHS to establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding long\-term wireless radiation exposure, childhood exposure, cumulative exposure from multiple sources, and potential public\-health implications\.
As a parent of three children growing up in a world increasingly saturated with wireless technology, I believe we have a responsibility to understand these exposures as thoroughly as possible rather than assuming that questions about their long\-term effects have been fully resolved\.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard and for considering these concerns as part of HHS’s evaluation of EMFs, RF radiation, and wireless radiation exposure\.

I am responding from the perspective of an individual who is highly sensitive to high levels of EMF.
I lived in NYC beginning in 1995-2010, and during that time our society went from pay phones to cell phones and hardwired computers to WiFi. Around the increase of cell phones I began to develop migraines, and they only become worse as time went on. I tried to eliminate every possible trigger, but never considered EMF. In 2010 I then moved to North Africa where there was very little EMF around us - especially coming from the densely populated apartment and office buildings of NYC, and my migraines disappeared. I suddenly found myself sleeping better, no longer felt an ancy, irritated feeling within by body. I still did not attribute this to EMF. There were times that I then stepped back into high density EMF areas - airports, bigger cities, and I'd notice first the sense of agitation within my body and then migraines. It wasn't until 2017 when I moved back to the states and was once again surrounded by endless lists of possible WiFis to connect to just within my neighborhood that my migraines flared up with a vengeance. My body felt like it was in total overwhelm. We then moved out to a rural area where the EMF was minimal, and once again the migraines subsided. We turn our WiFi off each night, and nights that I forget my sleep is restless. I'm unable to visit my aunt and uncle in the 30 floor condo in FL because each time I go my body literally shuts down, as the density of EMF is too much. On a side note I've also noticed that on the rarest of occasions when I've put my phone near my ear to talk, I get a tingling sensation in my brain that lasts long after the call.
Is there a chance that my symptoms are completely unrrelated to EMF? Absolutely. But we also don't know if they are not. we need more studies, we need to understand.
