https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6781513/ This is a Swedish study, that mentions various other studies. Among others a swiss study on RF causing symptoms in children. And it refers to studies on other health effects. "...A cohort study on Swiss adolescents showed that there was an association between whole body cumulative RF radiation dose from mobile phone talk, internet use and sent SMS and symptoms like headache and exhaustibility and also a decrease in figural memory (14,15). Many research studies have shown effects from RF radiation exposure on animals below current safety levels with opened blood brain barrier and neuronal damage (16,17), oxidative stress with increased production of reactive oxygen species (18,19), DNA-damage especially in the memory center hippocampus in the brain and increase in pro-inflammatory cytokines (20). Apart from animal studies research studies on people living near mobile phone base station show augmented indications on health risks. Adverse effects have been seen on neurotransmitters in the brain (21), on hormones like cortisol, ACTH and from the thyroid, decreased levels of testosterone in men and prolactin in young women and also increase in salivary cortisol (22,23). Other studies have shown lowered antioxidant levels and induced DNA damage in blood lymphocytes (10,24) as well as health complaints. Symptoms like sleep disturbances, headache, fatigue, dizziness, cardiovascular symptoms depression and difficulties with memory and concentration have been reported from people living near mobile phone base stations (25,26)." Of note they also mentioned that the window surfaces may reflect some of the RF from the outside. I think this would mean indoor RF bounces off of windows too. "...Lower levels were detected also in the vicinity of the windows. This indicates a notable screening effect by the contemporary heat-reflecting windows..."

Phone usage (screen? EMF?) increased likelihood of symptoms in children. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28577556/ "Background: Health outcomes of electromagnetic fields (EMF) from mobile phones and their base stations are of concern. Conducting multidisciplinary research, targeting children and exploring dose-response are recommended. Our objectives were to describe the mobile phone usage characteristics of high school students and to explore the association between mobile phone usage characteristics, high school EMF levels and self-reported symptoms. Methods: This cross-sectional study's data were collected by a survey questionnaire and by measuring school EMF levels between November 2009 and April 2011. A sample size of 2530 was calculated from a total of 20,493 students in 26 high schools and 2150 (85.0%) were included in the analysis. The frequencies of 23 symptoms were questioned and analysed according to 16 different aspects of mobile phone use and school EMF levels, exploring also dose-response. School EMF levels were measured with Aaronia Spectran HF-4060 device. Chi square and trend tests were used for univariate and logistic regression was used for multivariate analyses. Results: Among participants, 2021 (94.0%) were using mobile phones and 129 (6.0%) were not. Among users, 49.4% were speaking <10 min and 52.2% were sending/receiving 75 or more messages per day. Headache, fatigue and sleep disturbances were observed respectively 1.90 (95% CI 1.30-2.77), 1.78 (1.21-2.63) and 1.53 (1.05-2.21) times more among mobile phone users. Dose-response relationships were observed especially for the number of calls per day, total duration of calls per day, total number of text messages per day, position and status of mobile phone at night and making calls while charging as exposures and headache, concentration difficulties, fatigue and sleep disturbances as general symptoms and warming of the ear and flushing as local symptoms. Conclusions: We found an association between mobile phone use and especially headache, concentration difficulties, fatigue, sleep disturbances and warming of the ear showing also dose-response. We have found limited associations between vicinity to base stations and some general symptoms; however, we did not find any association with school EMF levels. Decreasing the numbers of calls and messages, decreasing the duration of calls, using earphones, keeping the phone away from the head and body and similar precautions might decrease the frequencies or prevalence of the symptoms"

A therapist reports observations they associate with 5G exposure and requests independent long-term resea…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Subject: Public Comment Regarding the Health Effects of 5G Radiation Dear Representatives of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the long-term health effects of exposure to 5G radiation on the human body. I work as a therapist using BICOM bioresonance technology and have extensive practical experience working with clients. During my therapeutic practice, I have repeatedly observed that the BICOM device indicates an exceptionally high burden identified as 5G radiation in virtually all of my clients. According to the results of these bioresonance assessments, this burden is very significant, and I encounter it in almost every person I examine. These repeated observations raise serious concerns for me about a possible connection between exposure to 5G radiation and the increasing prevalence of chronic illnesses commonly referred to as diseases of civilization. I believe that the extent of this issue requires urgent attention from responsible public health authorities and thorough, independent scientific investigation into the long-term effects of 5G radiation on the human body. I therefore respectfully request that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: 1. Support independent, long-term scientific research into the biological and health effects of chronic exposure to 5G radiation. 2. Investigate the possible cumulative effects of prolonged exposure to 5G radiation on the human body. 3. Pay particular attention to the potential effects of 5G radiation on children, older adults, and individuals suffering from chronic health conditions. 4. Ensure transparency and independence in scientific research and the assessment of potential health risks associated with 5G radiation. 5. Review whether current exposure limits adequately protect the population against long-term exposure to 5G radiation. I firmly believe that protecting public health must be the highest priority and that the long-term effects of 5G radiation on the human body deserve serious attention. Thank you for considering my observations from therapeutic practice and the concerns I have expressed. Sincerely, JUDr. Ivana Němcová BICOM Bioresonance Therapist Czech Republic

The commenter identifies electromagnetic sensitivity and requests preservation of copper landlines for fa…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
My family and I need our copper landlines in New York State, and Verizon is threatening to cut us off from our lifeline: our copper landlines. My elderly loved ones need their copper landlines because it is their only contact with the outside world since they are not able to use other technology. I suffer from electromagnetic sensitivity, so I have a landline to reduce my exposure to wireless radiation. We all need the copper landlines for safety during power outages. Preserve the copper landlines and place people's needs above Verizon's profits.

EFEIA proposes independent whole-vehicle measurement, occupant dosimetry, clinical research and reporting…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
On behalf of the EFEIA Institute (Miami, Florida), I submit our organization's attached public comment, evidence summary and supporting proposal in response to HHS Request for Information, Docket No. HHS-OASH-2026-0397. This comment represents the perspective of a research entity. The attachments are an evidence summary and a national plan proposal, both prepared by EFEIA in October 2026. Disclosure: the undersigned is also founder and CTO of NOXTAK Corporation, which develops SPIRO electromagnetic-hygiene products; one source both documents cite evaluates SPIRO in two vehicles, and the 180 cases they describe were received by NOXTAK. A modern vehicle places traction batteries and power electronics alongside cellular modems, onboard hotspots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ultra-wideband access systems, V2X equipment and radar, including interior radar in the 57 to 64 GHz band for child presence detection and road radar at 76 to 81 GHz, in a small occupied cabin used for repeated daily journeys by children, pregnant women, older adults, professional drivers and people with implanted devices. U.S. drivers spend about an hour a day at the wheel. National campaigns in Germany and Switzerland found low average fields with brief magnetic-field peaks, highest at the feet; in the German federal campaign, the reference values of the 1999 EU Council Recommendation were exceeded locally or briefly in all vehicles but one, while basic restrictions were never exceeded. Existing methods cover parts of this picture: IEC 62764-1 measures low-frequency magnetic fields from 1 Hz to 100 kHz and excludes intentionally transmitting antennas, UN Regulation No. 10 addresses electromagnetic compatibility, and FCC rules address RF exposure from mobile and portable devices and provide for multiple sources. No method yet connects the full installed source inventory, the occupied cabin, and the fields and absorbed energy in each occupant. The 2023 study funded by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy acknowledged temporal and spatial gaps that could have missed short events or the highest field values, and EFEIA's own study of two Tesla Model Y vehicles used instruments limited to frequencies below 6 GHz, which cannot capture 60 GHz or 76 to 81 GHz systems. NOXTAK has received 180 cases of people who attribute symptoms to electric vehicle use and sought help; both documents treat this as an author-reported case count, not a prevalence estimate, and propose a registry and clinical pathway to examine it. We urge HHS to support a coordinated 24-month national program with independent laboratory participation and an independent scientific steering process: a reproducible whole-cabin measurement protocol covering every installed band; a version-controlled library of real driving, charging and connectivity scenarios; a validated occupant dosimetry atlas with child, pregnant and adult anatomical models; a consented symptom registry and staged clinical research below established thermal thresholds; a technology-neutral method for evaluating mitigation claims; and recommendations for a whole-vehicle evidence requirement with change control and a complaint reporting channel. HHS and its research agencies would guide the health evidence, with DOT and NHTSA on vehicle integration and transportation safety, the FCC on RF equipment and exposure requirements, and NIST, universities and independent laboratories on measurement traceability. This comment responds to questions 4(k), 4(l), 4(m), 5(n), 5(o), 5(p), 7, 8, 9, 10(a), 10(f), 11(a) to 11(f), 12, 13(i), 16, 17 and 18. The attachments are the Additional 4 summary and the national plan that corresponds to it: - Additional 4 summary: Modern Vehicles as Occupied Electromagnetic Environments: Measuring What Reaches the Person in the Seat (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23541753). - Additional 4, National Plan: National Plan for Electromagnetic Biocompatibility in Modern Vehicles: A proposal for whole-vehicle exposure assessment, occupant dosimetry and regulatory development (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23541733). Please accept and consider all attached documents, the Additional 4 summary and the National Plan, as part of the public record. Respectfully, J. Joaquín Machado EMR Researcher and Director of the EFEIA Institute

The commenter reports family sleep improvements with Wi-Fi off, raises concerns about children, LED light…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from my perspective as a mother grandmother and a person that works with children. PERSONALIZE YOUR COMMENT HERE: if using your phone while on WiFi gives you numb or even tingly or warm feeling on your hands and fingers there is definitely some effect from the radiation coming from your phone. As a whole my family sleeps better when we turn off the WiFi. I work with children, these children carry iPads throughout the day. The building has to have WiFi signal all throughout to be able to use the WiFi , computers and anything else that makes the devices work. Plus we have WiFi towers near our building and in the surrounding neighborhoods. I’d say there’s about 4 towers within a small radius. Children are confined indoors with all that radiation and act very out of control. Almost like something does not allow anyone in the building to focus and makes people anxious. That coupled with chem trails when you exit the building, where you can’t get a break. Constantly being zapped like a bug inside a building and sprayed like a bug while you’re outside. I personally have moments where I feel like I’m out of it or spaced out unable to focus while outdoors. And inside a building where there is tons of LED lights and WiFi makes vision blurry and at times hard to focus on screens. Plus WiFi to top that off, I think it’s a recipe to make anyone feel loopy. Buildings occupied by children or even adults should be monitored and checked for EMF signal toxification, excessive LED lights that affect your sight and possibly cause anxiety. Anyone messing with Gods creation should be healed accountable. It should be criminal to spray our skies, expose us to so much EMF or radiation, and all these LED lights. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Subject: Public Comment / Request for Information (RFI) regarding the health and environmental impacts of Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs) and Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation. 1. Equipment and Measured Environmental Exposure Levels • Measurement Device: I utilize a GQ EMF meter to continuously monitor the exposure levels within my living environment. • Daily Exposure Readings: The device consistently registers levels well into the "red zone" (hazardous threshold) on a daily basis. • Electromagnetic Fields (EMF): Measurements frequently spike up to 20 mG (milligauss) within the living spaces. • Electric Fields (EF): The electric field strength is highly elevated throughout the residence. Baseline measurements in most areas, such as around door frames, range between 80 V/m and 120 V/m (Volts per meter). In direct proximity to electrical cabling, the readings peak drastically at up to 900 V/m. 2. Reported Health Symptoms and Cognitive Impacts • Vertigo & Tinnitus: Experience of persistent dizziness/vertigo, which appears to correlate with the proximity and operation of the Wi-Fi router. This is accompanied by a constant tinnitus-like buzzing or humming sound, closely linked to the usage of mobile phones and television sets. • Severe Fatigue and Rigid Lethargy: Onset of a profound, leaden fatigue that frequently manifests as a state of physical rigidity or paralysis. • Socio-Economic and Psychological Toll: These severe environmental stressors directly impair and diminish my capacity to work (Arbeitskraft). The constant exposure induces severe malaise, physical discomfort, and has contributed significantly to states of clinical depression. • Cognitive Disruption: Noticeable impairment of concentration levels and significant memory weaknesses. • Headaches & Mitigation Success: Chronic headaches. A measurable improvement in overall well-being and a reduction in headaches have been achieved since implementing a strict protocol of turning off all electronic devices and routers during the night. • Intrusive Dream States: Sleep disruptions characterized by highly vivid dreams that carry the distinct sensation of an external entity hacking into or manipulating the subconscious mind. 3. Oncological Diagnoses & Developmental Concerns • Skin Malignancy: Diagnosis of non-melanoma skin cancer (white skin cancer), which correlates chronologically with the high exposure levels monitored via the aforementioned EMF and EF settings. • Canine Cancer: A cancer diagnosis in the household pet (an elderly dog). • Impact on Child Development: Based on my personal observations of these extreme measurements, I am deeply concerned that such exposure levels must be absolutely devastating to developing children, inevitably impacting their neurological, physical, and psychological growth. 4. Anomalous Physical and Thermal Environmental Phenomena • Acoustic and Visual Impacts: Observations of physical "impacts" or kinetic-like strikes that become both audible and visually perceptible on freely hanging aluminum foil. (Note: Similar anomalies and recordings have been documented by independent researchers, such as Dr. Katherine Horton). • Thermal Glass Damage: The sudden, unexplained appearance of a large geometric anomaly on the terrace glass door. A ring with a diameter of approximately 1.5 meters was thermally burned/etched into the glass pane, accompanied by a distinct physical notch or crack, originating from no visible external source. Closing Statement: I am profoundly grateful to the Department of Health and Human Services for initiating this critical investigation and for proactively consulting the public to gather these vital testimonies. Best regards

The commenter reports sensitivity reactions in some patients around wireless and electrical sources and r…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Approximately 10% of my patients have a bad reaction to strong electromagnetic radiation fields. These patients have an allergic-type reaction and/or a sensitivity to high frequency radiation, as found in cell antennas, cell phones, "smart" meters, and wi-fi. A smaller percentage even react to lower frequency radiation as found in home wiring that was not properly installed and therefore gives off strong fields. There should be much stricter limits on what people can be exposed to. For instance, in schools and multi-tenant buildings, but even near single-family homes and businesses.
