Expresses concern about phone-related cancer risks and cites a meta-analysis reporting associations with …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am a parent and grandparent and I am concerned about cell phone usage causing cancers or other health effects and there are studies that show it is plausible. This study is one of many. Brain tumours and mobile phones. Yang et al. (PLoS One, 2017; 11 studies, 6,028 cases): mobile phone use of ten years or more was associated with glioma, OR 1.44 (95% CI 1.08–1.91); same-side use, OR 1.46 (1.12–1.92); low-grade glioma, OR 2.22 (1.69–2.92). No association with high-grade glioma. PMID 28472042

Attributes past breast cancer to workplace and household electrical exposure, describes outlet measuremen…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Question 3: I believe I developed breast cancer as the result of exposure to EMF at work and home. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001. At the time I had been working for over 4 years at a computer company which didn't have WiFi, but a large number of computers, printers and other devices plugged into outlets in small cubicles. Using a Microsurge meter (similar to an oscilloscope), I got a measurement of 2,000 G/S units from testing the outlet. At home I found measurements over 200 G/S units measuring the outlets with electronic devices such as my tv, computer, etc. To mitigate this exposure, I installed filters (capacitors) to reduce the G/S readings. I sought medical treatment for the breast cancer, and have kept the filters installed in my home. I have been cancer free for the past 25 years.

Describes family mental-health problems, cancer, sleep disruption and compulsive internet use, and urges …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am a parent who's kids were born in 1991, 1993, 1996 & 1998. My first 2 kids have severe mental disorders that keep them from being able to function in society. ADHD and Paranoia, Schizophrenia, addiction are the diagnosis. They were allowed to use internet devices as much as other kids their age. My youngest 2 adult kids suffer sleeplessness and compulsive internet use, also the heath issues associated with low sleep quality like irritability and anger outbursts, both of them spending up to 16 hours per day online after graduating school. Depression and non hodgkins lymphoma cancer almost took my youngest Sons life. He has to continue to be screened. I cannot sleep with a cell phone near me. I turn mine on airplane mode every night, and try to keep it several feet from my sleeping quarters but I worry that it's still receiving signal like scanning for wifi or something I don't know about, since warnings are NOT ISSUED.. I would much rather just have a good old rotary phone wired into my home. The distractions on online browsing and social media has eaten up HUNDREDS, MAYBE THOUSANDS (?) of hours of my Lifetime.. I only started using it in 2002 I think we need to move away from using a phone & wifi for EVERYTHING WE DO! It's not natural for kids to be sitting down obsessing on a browser or video game and making online friends instead of real life friends.. IT STUNTS THEIR EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL & MAYBE EVEN SPIRITUAL GROWTH. I am now raising a grandson who my adult child is not able to due to untreated mental disorders and addiction. He suffers from ADHD and struggles with the desire to engage in compulsive internet usage as well. He has fits of rage when he must stop even after hours of use.. THEY JUST CANT GET ENOUGH. There's also terrible MOOD SWINGS associated with having to stop playing or watching online video platforms. He has short attention span and highly distracted and distracting to others in the classroom at school. I have removed all gaming devices, tablet, phone etc so he can just focus on reality. ALL THIS JUNK IS DISTRACTING KIDS AND MAKING EDUCATION AN UPHILL BATTLE FOR PARENTS. ITS A WALL BETWEEN THEM AND THEIR EDUCATION AND REAL LIFE SOCIAL EXPERIENCES, RELATIONSHIPS AND BONDING WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS. Thank you for listening to my experience and my warnings.. the internet is disconnecting our youth from their true friends family and FUTURE.

A lawyer recalls a transmission-line proceeding involving health and environmental evidence and describes…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As an attorney, I participated in litigation to oppose the placement of a High Voltage 765 KV Transmission Line across farmland and Native American territories in upstate New York in 1977. We presented evidence of harm from Canadian records where such lines already existed. The evidence showed genetic changes in farm animals and in farm vegetation, and increased cases of cancer in people who lived and worked close to the high voltage lines. The Court wrote a thorough opinion reviewing the evidence and concluded that the New York State Power Authority had to purchase a right of way twice as wide as the one they proposed, to minimize the expected harm to surrounding human and other life. AS a result of our experience, my husband and I have minimized our exposure to EMFs and WIFI and mobile phones as much as possible and will not live within sight of a medium or high voltage transmission line. As a wellness adviser in addition to my legal practice, I advise the same to my clients and have met a number of people who feel uneasy and hypersensitive around EMFs. Recent research continues to accumulate the same kind of results as we heard during that court case. Please refer to the thorough data base at https://greenmedinfo.com/problematic-action/electromagnetic-field-harms?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email. Thank you for the opportunity to leave a comment for the HHS.

Requests enforced tower setbacks from homes and schools, citing cancer, neurological and immune-system co…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
One of our most important tasks of a civilization is to create an environment that allows people to be safe in their homes and at school. It is known that radiation, EMF’s and radio frequencies are harmful to humans when exposure is consistent and at close proximity. Our bodies and brains are constantly being bombarded with these dangerous conditions when our homes and schools are close to these toxic environments. Regulations must be put in place and enforced to keep populations from becoming vulnerable to cancer, brain damage and damage to our immune systems. Save our children and families and keep these towers are safe distance from all schools and neighborhoods!!!

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I formerly worked at a telecommunications company in South Africa and am now in Florida USA. I can tell you I saw first hand how the field technicians said working on the cellular towers gave them cancer. How EMF can also disrupt and manipulate people. We would like answers on why our kids have no more sparkle in their eyes. What has happened to our natural ingenuity. How has this affected our own human electromagnetic field. We want to know why companies prioritised high tech communication above our neural, physical and emotional well being.

Attributes bodily changes, cancer and an ability to fly to exposure near a cellular tower.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I sat next to a cell tower and I started to grow a third arm. Then I found out I had a cancer that is only genetic. I blame the 5G. I also started to fly.

Requests an independent review of limits and realistic long-term exposure, citing research on cancer and …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects. I ask HHS to: •Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups. •Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest. •Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools. •Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Dear HSSD, I have been suffering from any WiFi related or smart objects for many yea rs ever since the WiFi technology started to come into homes. I first noticed pricly, itchy skin on my arms. (This is known symptoms of radio frequency radiation) When I switch my WiFi router off it stopped. I also started notice headache after talking on my mobile phone. It has been problematic for me for the last 15 years or so. There's no escape for me in this world. Bluetooth technology in particular affects me badly and I always ask my colleagues to switch it off on their mobiles. I do worry about the risk of brain tumour. I deeply deeply wish to live in the world where I can live safely without all these technologies.

A retired nurse raises possible links between device use, atrial fibrillation and cancers and asks HHS to…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Secretary Kennedy, I am a retired RN and I have been observing the serious increase in A-Fib or Atrial Fibrilation. Many men put their cell phones in their shirt or coat pocket near their heart. Our heart has an electric component to function in correct rhythm. There is also an increase in prostrate and uterine cancer caused possibly by laptop use. The other noticeable increase is brain cancer which many of us working in health care believe could be caused by cell phone use without a head set. I hope this is helpful information. Thank you for making America healthy again! Sincerely, Gayle Horton
