I am now in my 70’s and have been adversely affected by RF radiation since 2009, when a transmitting "smart" meter was installed on my home. My heart was racing, I was unable to think or sleep, was labile and exhausted. I was soon affected by phone towers as much as a kilometer away, as well as by cellphones. Symptoms included insomnia, tinnitus, anxiety, digestive and circulatory problems, fatigue, poor memory, inability to think and make decisions. I could not stand in queues due to others with cellphones, and could not be in buildings with wifi after that started. I had to give up my consultancy career in 2011, due to being unable to be in so many environments. I was affected by fluorescent and LED lightbulbs and obviously unable to use a cell phone myself. I also became affected by lower frequency radiation, from circuitry in the walls at home. I used to travel frequently but now was, and am, unable to use any form of public transport or sleep in any venues with wifi. So I am unable to return to the country of my birth, where my family of origin live. I am unable to wait in waiting rooms, where others are on their phones; am unable to have Xrays, MRIs or CAT scans due to how I might be affected by the radiation; and do not know what would happen if I was ill and had to go to a hospital. Receiving no help from doctors who do not understand this issue, I spent thousands of dollars trying to help myself survive and recover: gadgets, shielding, therapies, blood tests, vitamins… My relationships were affected as many friends could not understand or be bothered with my inability to go places and do things. I see my own family less often than I would have as I had to move away from suburbia. My life has been quite isolated as I cannot join in the groups I used to participate in - learning, teaching, sharing, exercising. Instead I spend much time at home on my hardwired computer. Physically I am lately affected by extreme fatigue for days after exposure, rather than being aware of radiation at the time, as used to be the case. So this technology has in a sense made me an outcast, anxious about going places, unable to join in or contribute as I used to. It has changed my life to a very limited one (in Australia).

Hello, so typing the story again about how wireless radiation has affected my life is different today. Yes, my case has been difficult thru the lose my home and family relations in the process. MC/EFS and late stage chronic lyme disease with many co-infections I was lost without a doctor I trusted per Western terms but also quit stubborn in allowing my body to heal. I purchased a biofield device and treated myself, learning to read again, diminishing my nervous system over-reaction and detoxing all of the "stuff that doesn't belong" out of my body. This process took years with organs and systems running the wild game of catch up. I refused assitance and would not be drugged thus using all of my funds. Some things won't change like never putting on a headset, wearing ear buds, working in an office with dirty electricity not being away that the food I eat plays a role in my health along with exercise and contact withj a growing community of like minded people. This is what I did, stubborn yet up for the challenge. I have been suffering from EMF hypersensitivity for almost 10 years now. I worked for many years at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where high-voltage power lines run across the lab, and RF communication with deep space occurs, so the EMF environment is very intense. My symptoms started gradually, and it took me a while to figure out the root cause. In addition, I used to use my iPhones regularly, speaking on them frequently. The last 10 years have been very difficult for me because my condition is not recognized, and I'm not able to get my insurance to pay for all the holistic treatments that have kept me going. I can hardly ask for accommodations at work because, again, my condition is not recognized. Please investigate this condition! I have found some research papers online that examine the effect of EMF on living beings and humans in particular, but the medical community is very behind and narrow-minded. They don't use critical thinking and assume that if they didn't learn about a condition in school, it must not be true! But technology has expanded so rapidly that the medical curriculum has not had a chance to keep up with this. I'm so grateful that this condition is finally being examined, and I am confident that we will soon have enough evidence that new regulations will be enforced and it will save lives.

I am submitting this comment as an individual to share my personal health experience and to ask HHS to give serious consideration to people who report health effects they believe may be associated with RF/EMF exposure. My experience began in approximately 2018, after wireless utility meters were installed near my home. Before that time, I was healthy, working, running my own business, traveling, and functioning independently. Within a relatively short period after the meters were installed, I began experiencing symptoms that were very unusual for me, including nausea and vomiting, severe insomnia, palpitations, migraines, tinnitus, dizziness, balance problems, weakness, whole-body tingling and numbness, burning eyes, temperature dysregulation, and profound fatigue. I also developed persistent numbness and pain in my hands and feet and difficulty concentrating and functioning normally. Over time, these problems became severe enough that I was no longer able to work. Activities that had once been ordinary became increasingly difficult. I have had difficulty typing and using my hands, difficulty sleeping, and periods of weakness and dizziness that have affected my independence and my ability to safely carry out everyday activities. My medical records contain documentation concerning effects from electromagnetic fields/radiation, as well as chronic fatigue and neuropathy. I have continued to seek medical care and evaluation for these problems. One of the most significant observations in my experience has been what happens when I am away from my home environment. During periods when I have stayed elsewhere, including a period at my sister's home where there were no smart meters, I experienced noticeable improvement in my symptoms. I have also noticed improvement during shorter periods away from my home. I recognize that these observations alone cannot establish causation, but the repeated difference I have experienced is one reason I believe this warrants further scientific and public-health investigation. My exposure concerns have continued as additional electric meters have been installed near my residence. Multiple electric meters are now located near my bedroom windows. I became so concerned about my bedroom environment that I have been unable to sleep there for an extended period and now sleep on my sofa. It is difficult to describe what it feels like to no longer feel comfortable in your own home. I lost my ability to work and the financial independence that came with it. I live on a fixed income. I never expected that I would reach a point where sleeping in my own bedroom, concentrating, using my hands normally, feeling steady on my feet, and simply having enough energy to get through the day would become difficult. I am not asking HHS to consider my individual experience as scientific proof of causation. I am asking that experiences such as mine be taken seriously as health observations and considered alongside the scientific evidence when identifying research gaps and determining whether additional investigation is warranted. I believe particular attention should be given to long-term and cumulative exposure, individual susceptibility, real-world exposure conditions, and people who report significant symptoms in connection with wireless and utility-meter environments. I also believe that people who report these experiences should have appropriate medical and public-health resources available to them rather than having their experiences dismissed simply because the science is not yet settled. I have photographs, videos, medical records, and other documentation relating to my experience and the environment around my home. I am willing to provide supporting documentation if requested. I am sharing my experience because I do not want other people—particularly children, older adults, people with existing health conditions, or others who may be especially sensitive to environmental exposures—to find themselves struggling in their own homes without their experiences being heard and properly investigated. I respectfully ask HHS to continue investigating reported health effects associated with RF/EMF exposure, including non-cancer effects, long-term and cumulative exposure, individual susceptibility, and real-world exposure conditions, and to ensure that appropriate medical, biological, and public-health expertise is included in that work.

In 2010 I became intolerant to Wi-Fi signals at home and at work. It started with dizziness in my own kitchen. Then I found that I could no longer enter my office downtown because it felt like my head was in a vice. My office was located under several wi-fi towers. When I did persevere and go into my office I could no longer remember how to use the photocopier or sort papers. I could no longer do the duties I was used to doing. I finally had to leave my profession, as a realtor, that I had been doing for 25 years. After hiring a person trained in detecting radiation levels I found that my townhome had huge levels of wi-fi radiating into my home from my neighbor. At this time I purchased a proper meter so that I could measure this type of radiation and try to keep myself as safe as possible inside and out. I was forced to leave my home and rent a home in the country for several months while I educated myself and found out how to protect myself. After figuring this out I was able to shield my home and return to it. At this point in time my body was very weak and it took me about a year to get back some of the strength that I previously had. I had to also shield my body when going outside as there were a lot of signals. I have never recovered 100% and can not take part in life as "normal" because "normal" has changed and we now live in a microwave oven.

Thank you for a forum. The story we have began when 5g rolled out in conjunction with the arrival of a smart meter on our house. We first noticed my wife getting sensations in her chest while on the couch which happened to be where the meter was on the outside of the house. When we requested help from met-ed or First Energy, we were told you have 2 choices, have no power or move to another state. We contacted the PUC and if you look into it no had ever got favorable results. We have done everything possible to REDUCE EMF's and she is less often irritated but during high internet usage and certain times of the day she still gets stress symptoms. Unfortunately no doctor will even try to listen or address the issue in any way but lable her DELUSIONAL. Have a conversation with her and will quickly understand that to be unfounded just their way of dismissal.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned parent. My church has a cell tower in the steeple and my church leadership is not concerned about it. I am considering changing churches for this reason. I feel that I should not have to choose between leaving a place where I have deep spiritual roots and protecting the health of myself and my young children. High level wireless radiation should not be permitted in close proximity public spaces like houses of worship. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I have electro magnetic radiation syndrome (diagnosis code W90.0). I was intensely exposed seven years ago and have had to change entirely how I live my life. I have to live in a basement and the entire apartment is wired. I have limited access to public places, and can't be around very many people. I had to stay in a hospital and was very ill shortly after discharge. I am a ,ember of emrsyndrome.org, which has helped save my health greatly! I am hoping that HHS Kennedy's investigation will help save many lives! I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. The affects of EMF/RF Radiation has ruined not only my permanently injured my health but has also robbed my home from me! Five years ago, I purchased my dream home in Rockwall, Texas, which is loaded with towers and began feeling sick within weeks after purchasing it! Dizziness, major, heart, palpitations, headaches! I began to lose my eyesight and developed severe hip and lower back pain. My naturopathic Doctor Who owns the Health food store here asked where my smart meter was and much to my horror. It was on the other side of the wall from my head where I was sleeping. It just about gave me endometrial cancer!!! Two years later they moved up to 5G and blasted us and I lost that house and haven’t been able to pack it up because every time I go back there it makes me sick. I’ve had two realtors quit because they get sick being on that corner and around that part of the neighborhood.. as it turns out that Location is within 1 mile from up to 70 cell towers and antennas! Everyone talks about how they feel sick in our town. It’s beyond terrible and on top of that I feel a detachment from my life and deep depression that I’ve never felt before until they blasted us with 5G!!! Every day at 5 o’clock many of us have heart, palpitations, headaches, a feeling of haziness and blurred vision! Imagine what this will do to us long-term! I am now having hormone problems connected to breast health that I’ve never had before. This is causing my health to fail for sure, and it has ruined the quality of my life! Thank you so much for launching this investigation!!! Please stop these terrible towers or we are in trouble! Cellular radiation has absolutely ruined my life! I have never been sensitive to it until they moved up to 5G and started placing all of these towers everywhere and now I’m just dealing with a depression from it all because it just seems hopeless at this point!
