Requests independent review of exposure limits, cumulative and nonthermal effects, cancer and reproductiv…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects. I ask HHS to: •Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups. •Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest. •Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools. •Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

A veteran describes sensitivity and disabling migraines following a blast injury, reports difficulty obta…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am an army veteran. While I was standing in front of a row of radios fixing them in the battalion TOC, a rocket hit in the parking lot out front. I was standing on the elevated part of the room where radio operators sit but I was standing. People below me were all sitting. Because I was standing I was above the sand bags that were in the windows. When the blast came through while it did not knock me out I felt the force of it go through me. But as no one else seemed affected I assumed I was fine other than having a headache for which I went to the medic and got medicine for. How this is related to frequencies is that I have over the years since this event became very sensitive to frequencies. To the extent where I am now disabled. The VA does not recognize this as the cause but as they will not hear me over the past 20 years I have had to learn ways to deal with the symptoms. My spouse and I have tracked what makes the symptoms worse. Frequencies seem to really set it off. When this happens it causes migraines, dizziness, nausea sometimes vomiting and acute sensitivity to everything. Saw noises set it off. When it’s a cloudy day high pressure that sets it off. Going to stores or indoor places of any kind that has a lot of floresent or led lights sets it off. I have had to avoid these places that includes church because of it. My hope is that by this inquiry these concerns will be looked into. I’d be glad to help.

I have a circle with a symbol on my phone to keep me safe from the radiation on my phone and one day my phone just died. I went down to the AT&T store and when I asked the tech why my phone just broke he said that he has seen that happen numerous times with the circle blocker or similar that people have on their phones. I found that interesting to say the least. I bought a new phone and I immediately put one on it again because I am convinced that it works...

A retired teacher calls for updated exposure limits, attributes sleep problems to wireless meters, and ra…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a concerned mother and retired elementary-school teacher, I urge FCC to take a strong stance protecting public health by updating our current exposure-guidelines to appropriate safety levels that protect our people. Wireless radiation standards haven’t been updated by FCC since 1996. Given that the ‘safe’ level established in 1996 already surpassed the evidence-based threshold-of-harm that thousands of scientific studies indicated, and given that we and our children are now in a wireless environment bombarded with higher and higher levels of radiation – cell-phone grids, wireless phones, Smartboards, plasma TV’s, computers, wireless Internet, ear phones, etc. – the public, especially children and elderly, are being subjected to an ever-increasing virulent and toxic soup of radiation exposure. And it is having dire consequences. Children are demonstrating increasing levels of agitation, distractibility and sleeping disorders (from the students I taught back in 1978), due to wireless overstimulation. There is also mitochondrial damage from over-exposure. Recently, five wireless meters were added to end of my building, and my sleeping patterns have been affected. Further, adults and senior citizens are increasingly complaining of balance and disorientation issues that often result in serious injuries. Humans are electromagnetic beings, just like other animals, and in the same way that geese or whales are disrupted in migratory routes by an overload of wireless radiation, humans are adversely impacted, as well. These reckless dangers must stop. Our exposure guidelines are archaic and do not reflect the wireless soup in which we’re immersed. Please protect public health by updating our current exposure-guidelines to appropriate safety levels that protect our people.

I would be against wireless radiation if I could find any scientific evidence that is harmful in any way other than the towers being eyesores. I do enjoy my cellphone and the internet. So there’s that.

Reports military-associated migraines and vertigo, raises concerns about avionics and childhood exposure,…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because: While in the military I developed migraines and vertigo that were triggered by high EMF environments. Moreover, It is well know that HF radios in fighter jets cause cancer. Please reference any fighter jet systems manual. We use to call the cone of the antenna in front of the jet the cone of cancer. There are notes, warnings and cautions pertaining to this danger. While there are different frequency ranges to the many avionics in a fighter jet some of these frequency bands reserved for the military have been released for use by the tech industry within the civilian population(Why?). There is a clear safety issue with this current technology please also reference the military studies done on radar operators in the 60's and 70's showing health concerns. It's time to FOIA all government organizations to include the military for all experiments regarding technology using any type of frequency based power. Non ionizing radiation should be looked at differently than ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation is more apt to cause damage via thermal heating. Non ionizing radiation is more likely to affect the calcium channels of the body therefore showing damage later in a persons life that is not expressed by thermal damage. Because of this it also tends to affect people in different ways depending on their individual exposures and body type. We know that different types of frequency's can affect a person with more fat differently than someone with less fat. We know a millimeter wave cannot penetrate the body as deep as a longer wave frequency. Therefore more fat could potentially equal more protection against a millimeter wave reaching an organ. This is especially important with children as most do not have the body fat of an adult allowing the millimeter wave to penetrate deeper into their developing bodies. Currently the FCC only looks at ionizing radiation effects, this is pure negligence on the FCC's side as it is common knowledge among anyone that works with avionics that there are other dangers to frequency then just ionizing radiation as I explained above. This issue is going to have the most damaging effects on our children. It's time to start caring about our future generations and immediately stop any further roll out of cell towers and wireless technologies, remove all antennas from schools, remove wifi from schools and cease the use of 3g/4g/5g towers within our cities until the FCC does its job and does a complete overhaul of its safety standards to reflect measuring all the dangers that can result from this use of technology. The FCC must also ensure the Tech companies are held to the strictest 3rd party study's to ensure what they are proposing is safe. Then the FCC must remove all employees with conflicts of interest ensuring no industry employees are allowed to ever work for the FCC or vice versa. Or at least have a 5 year no compete agreement in their contracts. The FCC should also be required to work with HSS. The HSS should study the health effects and then the FCC must be required to update its standards to ensure the dangers Identified by HSS are addressed in their safety standards. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.

How I became EMF sensitive. I am 73 years old and I think, I was in my early 30's when my husband got us a new phone. He was so amazed, he could walk out of our apartment onto the sidewalk and still could talk and be heard on the other end. We keep this phone in our bedroom unfortunately. I learned many years later, the body repairs itself when we sleep. So, this phone was not letting us repair our bodies during the night. I remember, I had an one hour conversation on that phone and my head was hot and I was a bit disoriented. I made a note to myself, not to use that phone for long calls etc. I got a job working the front desk of a chiropractors office. For 13 years I sat in front of a computer, working 8 hours a day. At one point I got divorced and was walking through a Farmer's Market and this women had a cellphone. They used to have a big long antenna and she was moving her head up and down, left and right and I could feel the antenna energy, cutting through my head. You can immage, I was trying to distance myself from this lady. I eventually moved from Los Angeles to Norwalk California and moved into a mobile home. By this I was about 51 years old. Mobile homes are kind of close to each other and for some reason, I didn't like sleeping in the bed room. I preferred sleeping on the couch in the living room, against a wall, that had a switch, that turned of the energy from the electric socket. During this time, I was working out of my home and was on the computer a lot, plus I had a telephone and internet access through a satelite dish. During this time, I had a basal cell and saw a macrobiotic couselor who cured herself from a very heavy cancer. She recommended a few things to me: get rid of the satelite dish, spend less time on the compure and follow her macrobiotic diet. It took 1 year and 7 months but the basal cell was no longer cancerous. I also, looked out my bedroom window and I had 6 satelite dishes on the corner of each mobile home: my mobile home, my right neifhbor, across of him/ my right, the Mobile home directly across from me, the mobile home to my left kitty corner from me and the one to my left. That is WAY TO MUCH EXPOSURE. No wonder I didn't like sleeping in my bed room. So, I stop using Satelites for entertainment etc. At 61 I moved to Albuquerque New Mexico and they are one the top 7 states for cellphones towers. When I was 62 years I moved into a cooperative apartment complex. After 3 montjhs I started having symtoms: could only get 2 hours of sleep, I was having moments: I would loose consciousness for a few seconds, heart palpations, headaches that were very painful: like a knife was cutting through my head, tinnitus, skin rashes. Luckily I figured out what was happening to me and took steps to lower my exposure to EMF's. So, I went to a senior center and as I got closer to it, I noticed it had a cellphone tower directly across from the senior center. As I walked in, I over heard a conversation: Mary passed out at the senior center, they took her to the hospital and the doctors couldn't figure out why she passed out. I thought, I better not stay here to long, so I signed up for a class and left. As I walked out side, this cellphone tower was full of discs pointing in all directions and Up and down. I walked across the intersection, to stay away from the old cellphone tower and I was now on the sidewalk and the cellphone tower was across from me and I passed out. I must have looked my a drunk and fortunately I caught myself befroe I hit the grown. I thought, went I get home, I am going to do some research on EMF sensitivity. I learned that my symptoms were probably from EMF's and it recommended to move one's bed at least 5 feet away from the circuit breakers in my apartment. My bed was directly on the other side of were the curcuit breaker was. I 3 days, all my symstoms went a way except of the tinnitus. I was still getting occasional powerful headaches went I took a bus: which had wifi. I called comcast and asked them to turn off the wifi on the modum they gave me. 3 years later, I found out eventually that comcast not only turned the wifi back on each month when they rebooted their system but they also had a community wifi. So I was being double exposed. Not knowing this, I also never turned the comcast modem off and slept withing 5 feet of the modem. So, I was lucky, I caught it before permanent damage was done. This is how I live now: no refrigerator, not hot water tank, turned off all circuit breakers except for electric oven and kitchen electric sockets. I have no more symptoms. Except I have had moments: they were do some work through Albuquerque, to lay foundations for fiber optics Check out Great risk for EU, U.S. and International Health!
