A commenter with a neurological condition requests independent research on chronic and combined RF exposu…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am writing to express my concern about the potential long-term health effects of electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure, particularly from the rapidly expanding use of wireless technologies. As someone living with a chronic neurological condition, I am especially concerned about how environmental exposures may affect individuals with neurological disorders, children, and other potentially vulnerable populations. I believe we deserve a better understanding of the cumulative effects of exposure from cell towers, Wi-Fi networks, smart devices, and other sources of radiofrequency radiation. Our daily exposure to wireless technology has changed dramatically over the past several decades, yet important questions remain about long-term health outcomes, cumulative exposure, and whether existing regulatory standards adequately account for potentially vulnerable populations. I urge HHS and the FCC to prioritize independent, transparent, and publicly funded research examining the potential biological and neurological effects of chronic radiofrequency exposure. Research should specifically consider children, individuals with preexisting health conditions, and the effects of multiple simultaneous sources of exposure. I also encourage federal agencies to reevaluate existing exposure standards in light of current technologies and emerging scientific evidence, improve public transparency, and consider reasonable precautionary measures while scientific uncertainties remain. Technology and public health should not be competing priorities. We can embrace innovation while demanding rigorous scientific evaluation and meaningful safeguards. The American public deserves clear information, independent research, and safety standards that reflect the realities of modern wireless exposure.

A piano teacher describes a student’s improved behavior after family Wi-Fi reduction, recounts acquaintan…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Hi. I personally know TEN different people who have severe physical reactions to emissions from cell phones, cell towers and smart meters -- heart-throbbing, headaches, and mental confusion, to name a few. So my knowledge of this is not merely from studies. And I would like to offer this very personal experience with one of my students and wi-fi. My student’s parents have agreed to tell her story, hoping it will be helpful, not only in banning cellphone use in schools, but in getting the wi-fi turned off in our schools as well. I have no wi-fi in my house. All my computer stuff is hard-wired, and I ask all my students to turn off their phones when they’re in my house. I’ve been teaching private piano lessons for 46 years, and have worked with students of all ages and personalities. Recently I got a new 12-year-old student. To protect her identity, I’ll call her Gretchen. At our first lesson, Gretchen was sullen. She kept slouching, and I kept having to ask her to sit up straight. She wouldn’t sing the letter-names of the notes with me, and didn’t talk to me except to say, “I’m CONFUSED.” She never smiled, and she acted like she wanted to be somewhere else. It was a very long, very difficult half hour. About 20 minutes into the lesson, I asked Gretchen if it was her idea or her parents’ idea that she take lessons. I told her I would support her, and talk to her parents if she didn’t want to take lessons. She told me it was her idea. I told her I would talk with her father and tell him my thoughts. When I talked to her father he said would talk to Gretchen. The next week, Gretchen’s father said Gretchen really wanted to take lessons, and that he told her she needed to cooperate with me. However, Gretchen acted the same way she did at the first lesson. She seemed very unhappy. Gretchen’s mom picked her up after the second lesson, so I talked with her, and told her Gretchen seems like she really doesn’t want to take lessons. Her mom started to cry. She said, “I’m trying to get her interested in something.” I said, “Does she use a cell phone?” “I took it away from her. She was in another world when she was using the phone.” “What about her classmates? Are they acting the same way?” “Her teacher says he has this trouble with all his students, but Gretchen is the worst.” I asked Tony Keppelman, my EMF colleague, what I could offer this family. He said, “Tell them to turn off the wi-fi for two weeks when Gretchen’s in the house.” I said, “But she has wi-fi in school.” He said, “Well, at least it won’t be 24/7.” I made the suggestion to Gretchen’s dad, and the very next week Gretchen was more cooperative during her lesson. I told her dad afterwards that the lesson was better. I asked him if he had turned off the wi-fi. He said, “Yes.” “And how is Gretchen at home?” “Better!” It’s now several weeks later, and Gretchen is a completely different person. She’s pleasant, she smiles, she talks to me, she sits up straight the whole time, and she doesn’t say, “I’m CONFUSED” anymore. This may not be “scientific” evidence, but it is real. It is not in the imagination of Gretchen, her parents, her teacher, or me. It’s no secret that I have been a long-time, whole-hearted supporter of banning cellphone use and turning off the wi-fi in schools and in homes. More evidence: One of my friends teaches pre-kindergarten, and she says that last fall her four-year-olds acted like three-year-olds. One wasn’t even potty-trained. He came outside without his pants on. Sincerely, Carol Kuzdenyi

Previous studies showing stuff is 100% safe may not be measuring the right things or the possibility of protein misfolding (apologies if I am mischaracterizing what I am trying to reference -- might be the errors that occuring with random mistakes in our DNA happen as our cells multiply. https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/causes-prevention/genetics Since hypersensitive individuals can have essentially electromagnetic 'allergies'/immune responses in rare instances, it would seem logical that 'normal' people could be biologically impacted by an increase in the random mistakes that happen in our DNA as our cells multiply.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Better real-world personal and environmental dosimetry is needed to characterize actual cumulative exposure from phones, Wi-Fi, base stations, IoT, and emerging sources rather than relying solely on worst-case or compliance-test scenarios. Standardized methods for population-level monitoring would strengthen future epidemiological research and public communication. Federal Research Priorities Highest-value gaps include: Long-term prospective studies of childhood and adolescent exposure with objective exposure assessment. Improved characterization of multi-source, real-world cumulative exposure. Independent replication and clarification of animal findings at environmentally relevant levels. Transparent, high-quality systematic reviews that fully address methodological concerns raised about recent WHO-commissioned work. Coordination across NIH, FDA, CDC, and FCC so research informs both health guidance and exposure standards.

Reports insomnia, cognitive symptoms, pain and new eczema after moving near towers, and expresses concern…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I recently loved about 700 meterers from a 5g and a cell tower. Within a month of moving into the house I started experiencing insomnia, brain fog, legacy, and overall feelings of pain. I eat very healthy and could not understand the sudden change. Within two months I got eczema on the back of the my neck and it began spreading to my face. I’ve never had eczema before in my life. I assumed there was mold in the house but upon further investigation there was none. We live on a mountain in a wooded area so the towers were not obvious upon moving in. These towers have greatly impacted my health and unfortunately they are directly by my house. I am a stay at home mom and feel sick about not being 100 percent for my kids and the risks they now face.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Greetings! I have no doubt that we are frequency beings and you know that already. Some frequencies are good for us and some are not, and some are totally lethal--you know that already as well. There is a limited amount of time before that which is not good is removed. Do be careful for your own sake.

DNA damage, skin damage, cellular replication failure, hair loss, sexual dysfunction, burns, rashes, brain injury, dizziness, other concussion symptoms, microbiome disruption, death, heart attack, stroke, organ failure, vascular disease, gastrointestinal distress, psychological conditions such as fatigue, memory loss, apathy, cancer, alzheimers, sleep loss, and other quality of life issues are pervasive in my life and others' lives due to radiation exposure in my career. Camoflauge technology hides the damage done to the human and environment so collecting accurate data is critically challenged and contested in the field. My own personal experiences go beyond what is documented in some research. Radiation intensity surrounding airports and military bases give electrosmog articles credibility when projects are costing people their bodies, time, money, and potentially their entire lives being cut short.

See attached file. There is also a research report completed in 1971 by Naval Medical Research Institute titled Bibliography of Reported Biological Phenomena (Effects) and Clinical Manifestations Attributed to Microwave and Radio-Frequency Radiation. I attempted to attach that file here a few times, however, upload failed a few times.

A parent reports improvement in an infant’s eczema and hives after disabling a wireless security system, …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I had a baby with SEVERE full body eczema. While pregnant with this baby we installed a WiFi direct security service in our house. All first floor windows and doors. Upon hearing WiFi radiation may be part of the eczema problem, we shut it off. He had about a 40% reduction in his red, violent eczema and severe hives within the week. My husband and I also noticed we started dreaming again as soon as the WiFi direct signals were turned off. Nothing else changed except the security system being turned off. No diet or medical intervention changes. This is being submitted anonymously simply because I am mentioning a minor and a security system being tuned off.
