The commenter describes workplace symptoms and a seizure following smart-water-meter installation, report…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
John M. Endres Wireless Technology (EMF) Health Symptoms October 2, 2012 to present (2026) On October 2, 2012 a “smart” water meter was installed at the Biotechnology facility that I worked in. Approx 30 minutes after the “smart” water meter installation, I began to feel ill while working in our office area. My symptoms included: headache, nausea, difficulty focusing on my work, a metallic taste in my mouth, rapid vibration of my temple veins, and painful neck lymph nodes. I left the office area, and walked to my bench in our laboratory area. I stayed in the laboratory for the remainder of my work day. The painful symptoms subsided, and I left the building to go home. When home, I tried to make sense of what happened to me in my office area. I knew that there was a WiFi Repeater on the power cable approximately 15 feet from our office window. Could the WiFi Repeater somehow be interacting with signals from the “smart” water meter? There were over 20 scientists in our facility, but I was the only individual to experience adverse health symptoms. While at home, my symptoms disappeared. I began to document my symptoms. I returned to work the following day and while at my office desk the painful headache and other symptoms returned. I had to leave work and went home, and my symptoms slowly dissipated. Over the next 5 work days, I documented my symptoms at work and tried various shielding methods and finding safe areas (laboratories, break room, etc.). I began researching papers regarding health impacts of man-made electromagnetic fields (EMFs) of wireless technology. I purchased a TENMARS TM-195 3-axis RF Field Strength meter, and EMF protective clothing from Less EMF, Inc. I measured the temperature of my head at various locations. I decided that I would be a “guinea pig” and record and document the EMFs at various locations in our facility. Brief summary of symptoms and measurements from my 5-day study Overall Symptoms while at work: headache, nausea, difficulty concentrating on tasks, shakiness, pain in the back of my neck at the base of my skull, rapid and painful vibration of my temple veins, stomach queasiness, pulse and heart rate variability, left eye pain sensations, shortness of breath, heat sensations around my head, “metallic mouth taste”, shakiness or quivering of my legs, etc. µW/m² range of values using the RF Field Strength meter, October 10, 2012 Background test of RF meter at home: 0--200 µW/m² Range of µW/m² values at my desk on 10/10/2012, 9:55 am to 11:15 am: 960.8 – 2,070 µW/m² At 11:15 am I left our facility as I was not feeling well and when I reached my car I had a seizure where I lost control of my legs. After a few minutes, I slowly made it back into our facility. I was taken immediately to our company Dr at our main facility and she confirmed that I had a very serious seizure and that I could not risk having another seizure (as it could cause very significant harm). Two months prior to my EMF symptoms, I had an annual medical exam and was given a clean bill of health. I had MRI and EEG exams after my seizure—they did not reveal anything of concern. Several days after my seizure, our department head walked into our office area and he asked me: “John, do you know that there is a WiFi router in the upstairs conference room, directly above your head?” Oh my goodness! I was not aware of the WiFi router directly above my head. This may explain a lot. I have been researching the health impacts of wireless technology ever since my experience with the “smart” water meter” incident at the biotech facility. I immediately found two books by Dr Robert Becker: “The Body Electric” and “Cross Currents”. In his book “The Body Electric”, on page 284, under the subheading “Fatal Locations”, Dr Becker writes in the 2nd paragraph six sentences that have stuck with me ever since my episode with the “smart” water meter: “The major problems come from extremely low frequencies (ELF), but higher frequencies have the same effects if pulsed or modulated in the ELF range. This is very often the case, for, to transmit information, microwaves or radio waves must be shaped. This is done by interrupting the beam to form pulses or by modulating the frequency or amplitude (size) of the waves. Furthermore, today’s environment is a latticework of crisscrossing signals in which there’s always the possibility of synergistic effects or the “construction” of new ELF signals from the patterns of interference between two higher frequencies. Therefore, experiments in which cells or organisms are exposed to a single unmodulated frequency, though sometimes useful, are irrelevent outside the lab. They’re most often done by researchers whose only goal is to be able to say, “See, there’s no cause for alarm.”

A parent reports moving after learning of a possible school cell tower and supports HHS research and prot…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent. Wireless radiation affects everyone- our children, our families, anyone you care about. My family and I specifically moved away from our neighborhood as soon as we heard 'they' are thinking about putting a cell tower at the local high school near our home. Who in their right mind thinks putting a cell tower on school property is a good idea when there is a chance it could harm them?! How does this make ANY sense!?! I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I believe there is volumes of evidence indicating potential and actual damage from wireless radiation. Our exposure is so astronomically much greater than 30 years ago. Personally, I believe it has caused me tinnitus. A dear friend developed testicular cancer from carrying his cell phone in the front pocket of his work pants. Please acknowledge the existing data and act to protect us.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a [patient, parent, family member, caregiver, healthcare professional, researcher, advocate, concerned member of the public, or other]. PERSONALIZE YOUR COMMENT HERE: Tell HHS how wireless radiation has affected you, your child, your family, or someone you care about. You may describe the source and duration of the exposure, health effects experienced, when they began, whether reducing exposure made a difference, and how these experiences have affected daily life. If you are an ally, describe why you support people affected by wireless radiation and why you believe HHS should address this issue. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a concerned, and actively-licensed Registered Nurse, I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of being a parent, grandparent and great-grandparent. I am also a practicing Registered Nurse/healthcare and patient advocate. I am always cautious of radiation in any form. I do not allow unnecessary x-rays to be done on my self, including dental. There is a time and place for all procedures and diagnostics. I support people affected by wireless radiation and believe that we need to protect these people and any further damage to them and others. I encourage HHS to be proactive and address this issue. In Nevada County we were able to hold off such radiation with 5G. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of an individual When the municipal government authorized the installation of a giant telephone tower of 25m in the sidewalk at 6m of my front house´s door, they do not asked for my acceptance and I do not have a legal resource to opposite the action, done supposedly for the necessities and progress of our communities, since the importance of the communications. My person, my family, my neighbors do not count in that wide social and economic perspective. This happened six years ago, after the decease of my wife . Time passed and my daughter (30 y) begin to experiment an increased difficulty to conciliate the sleeping and problems of memory and anxiety without a defined cause. Concerning my person, actually 85 y, my problem is the surge of an increasing pain in brief episodes by the inflammation of my nerved terminations, as if I have needles through my skin, sometimes in a place, sometimes in other, at random. MHe walls of my house were constructed using electro galvanized welded wire mesh between columns, and a type of dried cane weaved, with cement mix by both sides, so I think it functions as a Faraday cage, that attenuates the effects of the electromagnetic emissions from the tower, but do not impede a amount of personal biological damage on our health. It is very difficult to demonstrate those effects since do not exists a medical general inform of each of us before the tower installation, but I have very clear that those symptoms do not exist before the installation and developed after the installation. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent and healthcare professional who works with children. I have personally witnessed children with a variety of diagnosis including ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delay become affected by EMF’s at the home, in school, and in public. Behavior, sleep, attention, etc can all be highly impacted by EMF’s, and we need to protect our children and our future. I have heard from parents who tried to reduce exposure in the home with some successes in children’s regulation, but it is so widespread in public spaces, schools, and even densely populated housing areas (making in-home exposure reduction difficult). The HHS need to look at current research and continue to increase research into EMF’s and our health as well as regulate the current situation and educate the public. Thank you.

The scientist skilled in this matter conducted a study that showed 5g and wireless radiation was not safe, and concluded further testing be done;instead, the 5g was implemented. Then corona covid was called a pandemic, and another study concluded this disease is amplified by wireless communication radiation (WCR); yet, this is ignored, overlooked or just kept hidden from the general population. Highly publicize the truth, so that people can know how WCR effects their life in the here and now. GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am an individual that has witnessed family members insisting we leave the house internet and Wi-Fi turned on 24/7 and they were in bed when a big cabinet glass suddenly literally shattered into pebble sized dangerous glass. We always would turn off the Wi-Fi in the evening until about noon the next day. This is because it caused tinnitus and insomnia. The family members are not living here anymore and the symptoms are better than when the Internet was on 24/7 daily. There needs to be current studies provided what is safe for all humans and animals.
