Provides an abstract reporting chromosomal damage and enhanced gamma-radiation effects in exposed human b…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
See attached file(s) Mobile telephony radiation exerts genotoxic action and significantly enhances the effects of gamma radiation in human cells 2024 Abstract. I previously reported chromosomal damage in human peripheral blood lymphocytes (HPBLs) induced by: a) mobile telephony (MT) electromagnetic fields (EMFs)/electromagnetic radiation (EMR), b) a high caffeine dose, and c) the combination of the two stressors. HPBLs from the same subjects exposed to gamma radiation at doses 0.1, 0.3, or 0.5 Gy, displayed more aberrations than those exposed to MT EMFs or the high caffeine dose in a dose-dependent manner. When the cells exposed to these gamma radiation doses were pre-exposed to a single 15-min MT EMF exposure, the number of aberrations increased significantly more than the sum number of aberrations induced by the individual stressors in all subjects. Thus, MT EMF exposure at a power density ~136 times below the latest International Commission on Non- Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) exposure limit, apart from the fact that it is genotoxic by itself, significantly enhanced the genotoxic action of gamma radiation. Since gamma radiation at similar doses is applied for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, people should be aware of the increased risk during treatment periods. Comparison of the genotoxic action between MT EMF and gamma radiation shows that the ICNIRP limits are, at least, ~4.5×104 times less stringent than the limits for gamma radiation. Key words: Electromagnetic fields — Mobile phone radiation — Gamma radiation — Human lym- phocytes — Chromatid aberrations — DNA damage

Calls for cumulative exposure limits, international comparisons and mitigation at devices and data center…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Technology can be wonderful, however we need to move forward in thoughtful ways because it can also be harmful, not just to people, to animals and plants too. There needs to be real limits on wireless radiation exposure; look at the differences between USA and Europe when it comes to various radiation and EMF exposure limits, theirs are much stricter; I think we can improve things in the USA and seriously take into account how people are actually using technology, don't just limit per device or hazard, there needs to be an overall exposure limit because most people will have multiple devices and hazards around them all the time. There are also various mitigating coatings, containers, or other things that can mitigate exposure from the devices and hazards themselves, these mitigations need to be more common place as we advance technologically speaking. It does no good to have the best computing power when everything around it suffers. In conjunction with this, with the rise of data centers and other technological infrastructure, we need to also use mitigating factors there too for not just wireless radiation exposure, also sound and vibrational overexposure. These buildings and complexes have a constant hum so-to-speak, this disturbs everything around it, from the people, plants, animals. We need to look out for all of us on this planet while we advance our civilization and keep the world beautiful for all of us.

Where are the FCC reports of monitoring them? I believe that they are harmful but more so when guideline established are not tested. Show me the paperwork please.

Raises cumulative-exposure concerns about connected household devices, describes paying a smart-meter opt…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
With more Wi-Fi being included with personal items in our homes, from our alarm systems to our HVAC systems and everything in between, how do we know how much we're ultimately being exposed to? We had a Wi-Fi smart meter removed from our power panel because it sits directly beneath our master bedroom, which means that we are being exposed to Wi-Fi all night long while we are sleeping. But we have to PAY an extra fee to not be radiated by our smart meter every month. And yet, the power company has NO RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that their Wi-Fi meter is safe for our health. There are so many issues that have yet to be addressed and I strongly urge this administration to fully research the safety of all these technologies.

Advocates lower-emission alternatives, setbacks from neighborhoods and schools, wired connections and pub…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
It is foolhardy and dangerous to continue to deploy and expand technologies that emit EMFs when we know it is one of many toxic exposures contributing to our society's surge in chronic illnesses. We need to start making decisions on the basis of societal and individual health and longevity, not short term conveniences and money. We should devote money into alternative, safer, lower-emitting technology. We should mandate that the infrastructure be set away from neighborhoods, schools, and places where people and animals congregate. We should encourage wired connections when possible. We should devote resource to informational campaigns that help people understand the health impacts and minimize exposure.

Cites The Invisible Rainbow as evidence of biological harm and calls for revised U.S. exposure limits.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
The book "The Invisible Rainbow: A History of Electricity and Life" by Arthur Firstenberg has cited several reports and scientific peer review studies that shows high exposure to RF/EMF causes biological harm. The United States has the highest legal exposure ratings approved by any country in the world. I believe the FCC needs to update the United States legal exposure limits. Thank you for your time.

Requests independent review of exposure limits, cumulative and nonthermal effects, cancer and reproductiv…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects. I ask HHS to: •Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups. •Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest. •Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools. •Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

A retired teacher calls for updated exposure limits, attributes sleep problems to wireless meters, and ra…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
As a concerned mother and retired elementary-school teacher, I urge FCC to take a strong stance protecting public health by updating our current exposure-guidelines to appropriate safety levels that protect our people. Wireless radiation standards haven’t been updated by FCC since 1996. Given that the ‘safe’ level established in 1996 already surpassed the evidence-based threshold-of-harm that thousands of scientific studies indicated, and given that we and our children are now in a wireless environment bombarded with higher and higher levels of radiation – cell-phone grids, wireless phones, Smartboards, plasma TV’s, computers, wireless Internet, ear phones, etc. – the public, especially children and elderly, are being subjected to an ever-increasing virulent and toxic soup of radiation exposure. And it is having dire consequences. Children are demonstrating increasing levels of agitation, distractibility and sleeping disorders (from the students I taught back in 1978), due to wireless overstimulation. There is also mitochondrial damage from over-exposure. Recently, five wireless meters were added to end of my building, and my sleeping patterns have been affected. Further, adults and senior citizens are increasingly complaining of balance and disorientation issues that often result in serious injuries. Humans are electromagnetic beings, just like other animals, and in the same way that geese or whales are disrupted in migratory routes by an overload of wireless radiation, humans are adversely impacted, as well. These reckless dangers must stop. Our exposure guidelines are archaic and do not reflect the wireless soup in which we’re immersed. Please protect public health by updating our current exposure-guidelines to appropriate safety levels that protect our people.
