A parent reports worsening migraines in two sons after a nearby 5G tower installation and increased anxie…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Good afternoon, My name is Rachel Kamalova and I am the mother of 6 children. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent and concerned member of the public. Wireless radiation has been making my family sick these past 6 years. During covid lock downs a 5g tower was put up close to our home. Shortly after this 2 of my sons started getting migraines that have become worse and for frequent. They are otherwise healthy boys. There is so much more chaos and anxiety when the wifi is on... and our neighborhood have all suffered since the tower was put in place. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Further research may be needed on the effects of domestic and commercial electromagnetic fields/pulses/sources on medicines while in the bloodstream or in the target organ/s. If various ionic configurations respond to specific frequencies/wavelengths, these may alter the energetic transformations and the behaviour of the compound via thermal or kinetic responses. regards

Describes personal and acquaintances’ sleep, memory and headache experiences around wireless devices and …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned parent and individual who has been impacted by exposure to EMFs, and has seen the effect it has had on others. I have a degree from Yale University and have researched electromagnetic fields and wireless exposure for my own personal education. EMFs, mostly from cell phones, wifi, smart meters and cell towers have: interfered with sleep patterns, memory and impacted more than a few friends and their families. One friend can’t sleep with the wifi on. Another can tell you when he is within proximity to a cell tower with amazing accuracy. One other can’t own a current cellphone because it gives him an instant headache. In the early days of the wireless boom, reducing exposure made all the difference, even though it often required that people isolate, losing their communities and even their homes in some cases, if they were living near a cell tower. But nowadays it has become harder and harder to avoid exposure. Our society depends on technology. Unfortunately the lack of sufficient safety studies and examination of the potential health hazards before launching into commitment to the widespread use of wireless devices, has created a silent but real public health issue. I feel strongly that we need to safeguard our population, and especially those vulnerable individuals like small children and the elderly by doing the proper research without the influence of interested parties skewing the results. We owe that to the future . I encourage HHS to take an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation on the human body. When you do, I hope you will include the experiences of the many individuals and families who report being affected alongside the scientific evidence, identifying and closing the gaps in current research. Please make wireless radiation and public health safety a federal research priority! Our kids will thank you! As will yours.

Reports a spouse’s illness after a school Wi-Fi upgrade, with inability to work, travel and participate s…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Greetings - I am writing to provide first hand knowledge of the effects of EMFs, RF radiation and wireless radiation exposure on the public, and more specically, my wife. My lovely, outgoing wife was a dedicated, hard working school teacher who loved her profession and her ability to interact with children. Approximately 11 years ago, my wife's school district upgraded it's wi-fi system, thereby over saturating the school's teachers, staff and students with EMFs, RFs and wireless radiation. She along with other teachers immediately felt ill from the radiating wireless routers. The results on my wife have been devastating. She now suffers from headaches, burning skin, foggy headness and multiple other symptoms. Tragically, this all could been avoided had the school district heeded the warnings of multiple experts who warned of the consequences of oversaturating the school with wireless routers. In addition to my wife's symptoms, the resulting harm has had a profound effect on our lives together. My wife cannot travel, even for short distances, without experiencing symptoms. We can only spend limited time at restaurants, movies or with friends at their homes. My wife can no longer work which has caused us a substantial financial burden. In all, the results of these exposures have been devastating. The effect of EMFs, RFs and wireless radiation on the public must be studied and regulated in the hopes that these injuies will be prevented from harming innocent people in the future. Water in a reservoir can be helpful to people. Once the reservoir is broken and water comes flooding through the dam, the effects are devastating. Such is the case with EMFs, RFs and wireless radiation. The dam is about to break. There are already numerous studies showing biological harm. Argues that low-frequency and supraharmonic exposures are an overlooked contributor to chronic illness, d…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Every chronic illness correlates with the introduction of exposure to frequencies from 2-100 kHz. This variable has not been accounted for in primary scientific research. Looking at all the graphs of years and rates of increase to this exposure is convincing that there is a correlation that needs investigation. This exposure came before the proliferation of smartphones, earbuds, and WiFi routers. There are three professions that recognize these frequencies. 2-150 kHz is termed as extremely low frequency (ELF) and low frequency (LF) in the radio world, kilo Hertz alternating current (KHFAC) in the medical field, and supraharmonics (SHs) in the electrical engineering realm. There is no argument on whether these frequencies are present and biologically active as they pass through the skin unimpeded. Inject them into the electric field of a home or school and now you have an extremely high power density of RF. And even greater when touching a grounded surface.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Much research and many studies have been being conducted, completed, and the results disseminated -- for decades! No need to give you more info. I'm here to tell you that those of us who're paying attention to LIFE are still here and OBJECT to the mindless bombardment of electronic frequencies developed for infrastructure and warfare. I don't care about anybody's exclusive empire or bank accounts.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Re: Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure---Docket No. HHS-OASH-2026-0397 Submitted by: Tim Humlicek Missouri City, TX 77459 Perspective: Parent/family member of child with autism and member of the public Date: October 21, 2026 I appreciate HHS' request for information regarding EMS, radiofrequency radiation, wireless technologies, and human health. I am submitted these comments primarily concerned as a parent with a child of autism (ASD). I am not asking HHS to conclude that RF/EMF exposure causes ASD. I am asking that HHS recognize the substantial public-health importance of the question and support rigorous, independent investigation into whether RF/EMF exposure may contribute to neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, either independently or through interaction with genetic susceptibility and other environmental factors. This distinction is important. The current evidence does not establish a causal relationship between RF/EMF exposure and autism. However, neither does the available evidence justify treating the question as resolved. There are several reasons why this subject warrants a coordinated federal research effort. 1. ASD is a common and increasingly identified neurodevelopmental condition with a highly heterogenous genetic architecture, yet a common group of symptoms. Most syndrome with a genetic cause have relatively few genetic causes, not thousands, as have been associated with ASD. Individuals should question shether these genetic findings could also be bystander effects in addition to contributing to ASD and associated comorbidities. 2. Genetic findings explain only part of the biological complexity of ASD, and gene-environmental interactions are increasingly being recognized. 3. Multiple biological processes implicated in ASD--including oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, altered clacium signaling, immune dysregulation, cellular stress, and altered neuronal signaling--have also been investigated as potential effects of RF/EMF exposure 4. Experimental mammalian studies have reported neurodevelopmental, behavioral, oxidative, molecular, and cellular effects following controlled RF/EMF exposure. Although findings are inconsistent, exposure to RF/EMF in these models, generally produce detrimental effects. Controlling RF/EMF for humans is almost impossible in developed countries outside of radio quiet zones. 5. Children and developing fetuses represent biologically distinct populations for whom exposure assessment and risk evaluation may warrant particular attention. 6. Wireless RF exposure has become ubiquitous, while technologies, frequencies, modulation schemes, device densities, and cumulative exposure patterns continue to evolve. 7. Existing research frequently does not reproduce the complexity of real-world, chronic, developmental exposure The appropriate federal response to these uncertainties should therefore be a coordinated research program designed to determine whether an association exists, under what exposure conditions it might occur, and whether susceptible developmental windows or biological subgroups can be identified. While research can continue to elucidate associations between RF/EMF radiation and neurodevelopmental disorders, the department of HHS could bing awareness of the possible physiological effects of RF/EMF, and simply recommend those caring for vulnerable population take simple measures to measure and reduce overall exposure, such as limiting the use of wireless devices, turning off WiFi routers during periods of limited need, and working with other governmental agencies overseeing application for wireless towers built for public use, and allowing for ample time for public comment and assessment. Sincerely, Tim Humlicek, PharmD Missouri City, TX

Describes a chronic surgical head wound and residual mesh as reasons for concern about 5G exposure, and r…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
An expedited safety review of 5G EMF is of personal importance to me. I have a chronic head wound due to a failed surgical closure. I'm missing a section of bone and have residual "mesh" still in a couple of places in my head (residual from the cranioplasty). The mesh is like having an antenna in my head. Prior to 5G, I wasn't overly concerned, but did a lot of research on EMF from multiple sources. I'm aware that the FCC has not adjusted its guidelines for "safe limits" since the 1990s. The explosion of wireless devices since their last revision of their "safety" data is non-existant. The increasing "speed" of wireless connections has made it impossible for the average person to protect themselves by choice due to the increased number of towers that they need for 5G and the breaching of previous "no go" zones for these towers - hospitals, schools, nursing homes - to keep young children and vulnerable adults safe from exposure to EMFs that can affect their brains, interfere with bodily healing and certainly cause a decline in intellect and memory. I have no articles to send you. I'm just a regular person who has taken the time to look into articles written by others. This is personal to me. Please do the studies that should have been done years ago!

Requests transparent public access to existing research and updated accurate studies of phones, routers, …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I’ll be brief. It is long past due that any and all studies are publicly published while updated and accurate new studies be performed. Transparency, honesty, & accuracy are key. Phones, routers, ‘smart’ meters, 5g+ tech & more-all need to be properly studied & publicly shared. Our health depends on it.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I have EMR Syndrome for 5 years now, it is very hard. I have headache, tinnitus, chronic fatigue, brain fog, etc when somebody uses a wireless device or when I'm near from a cell tower. I have to wear special clothes to shield, but it is not enough.
