ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have multiple issues regarding EMF: insomnia, fatigue, palpitations, elevated cortisol. My daughter-in-law gets severe headaches. Unknown if her cortisol gets elevated also. I know other people who also got elevated cortisol.

Dear DHHS, I personally believe EMFs, RF, Wireless Radiation Exposure, and plain old electricity, contribute to health issues in humans, pets, and wildlife. I have no idea what the answer is and how the future will be. Data Centers are horrible. Thank you, Ray Cage

A retired nurse attributes joint pain to Wi-Fi, describes costly grounding-sheet purchases and perceived …

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a retired nurse. When I retired three years ago, my wish was to cut expenses as my income was fixed. I gave up cable TV as one of my monthly expenses that was very pricey. My cable provider provided WIFI I had always seen the " towers" and I knew that the phone companies used these towers and I never thought twice about their use. About 6 months after switching to WIFI, I began to experience serious joint pain. My knees, ankles and hips began to be an issue, not relieved with OTC pain medication. I started to read everything that I could on joint inflammation. I stumbled across something called Grounding. It was very ancestral...walking barefoot on grass, touching trees and foliage. I continued to research and came across "Grounding Sheets" I read that they were made especially for painful joints due to EMFs. They can be purchased over the internet. Unfortunately they are very expensive and it really is unknown their effectiveness over time. Not to mention that they aremade in CHINA The wire from the sheets are plugged in to the grounding hole on an outlet. I purchased and was truly amazed how effective they are .Unfortunately they do wear and in the past year or so I have purchased the sheets three times .I have actually thought about going back to Cable as it is the only way to .eliminate the extreme discomfort. The sheets are too expensive. Im hearing that the plan is to increase the wifi to 7G. If my joints are affected, what else is? Could be my brain. How about pregnant women? I'm looking for someone to come up with a solution about this very unknown situation

Links a persistent elbow cyst and tinnitus concerns to phone and Wi-Fi use, expresses frustration with me…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Less than a year after I got an iPhone 5, back in 2012, a fatty cyst developed on the inside of my elbow. Doctors had it ultrasounded, and the only information that procedure produced was "it is very deep." I asked them to just cut it open and they refused, saying they want to aspirate it. People I know who have had fatty cysts aspirated learn that aspirating only angers the cyst and it grows. And so, I am at a standstill with western medicine, as they won't cut it open without aspirating. It is now 2026, the cyst is still there, not getting any bigger or smaller. IF only I were able to NOT use an iPhone for a year, I do know that it would start to slowly dissolve. ALSO everyone I know has tinnitus, including me. Can we please, somehow, get away from WiFi to see if that is what we are hearing? "Oh no!" says the audiologist! "You have tinnitus!" I wish that I could get away from WiFi long enough to hear. I cannot prove anything without getting away from WiFi and the world won't allow me to get away from WiFi. I feel trapped. I really do.

Reports EMF sensitivity associated with joint swelling, fatigue, nausea and perceived immune and autoimmu…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
EMF sensitivity has affected my health in several ways- it has created more inflammation in my body-often causing my joints to swell and also triggering my autoimmune response. It makes me realy tired, and at times nausous and always unwell. It lowers my immune response and makes me more susceptible to viruses and infections, lowering my immunity overall.

An older adult links a rising A1c result to EMF concerns, reports improved sleep and reduced tinnitus aft…

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of an active citizen in her eighties who lives alone and has recently recognized and is attempting to protect herself from EMF exposure harms, and who wishes to help spread the word about our societies need to protect citizens especially children from this growing toxin, I have lived with a modern wifi unit (Sonic) in my home for five years, and with an earlier generation of wifi (AT&T) for many years before that. In March 2026 after my yearly blood test, my nutritionist said that the pattern of change in my HbA1c test indicated likelihood of high EMF exposure. For the past 10 years since I've been her client the results have stayed between 5.2 and 5.4. Abruptly this past year it moved up to 5.7, the first number in the pre-diabetic category. As I said to her, I have not significantly changed my diet (no grains or refined sugar, lots of low starch veggies, some berries and citrus, grass-fed and finished meat, pastured eggs, fish). She recommended hard-wiring my computer and getting rid of wi-fi, which I have done. (I do not own a cell phone, smart or otherwise.) It's a distinct relief to not be bathing in wi-fi any more. I've long had tinnitus, which while not vanishing is much reduced, and I sleep better. I do think I may also be impacted by involuntary sources of EMF, namely cell towers and antennas. My nutritionist did a search and found about 2300 antennas and 1900 towers within a 3 mile radius of my house. I do have an EMF meter, and though the extremely high counts in my home are gone (they were in the millions), it still reads higher than 10 in my bedroom. So I am thinking of getting a bed canopy. I do look forward to the results of my next A1c test, hoping to see the numbers lower. I am very concerned about the effects of EMF on our human body health as well as impacts on animals, birds and insects, especially bees. The FCC has only measured the thermal impacts of RF, and that no more recently than 1996. For heaven's sake, there has been no attempt by the FCC to keep up with health impacts of cell phones and RF/EMF development since the pre-flip phone era! This seems a deliberate avoidance of the probable biological impacts on our cells and organs. We are after all electromagnetic beings. Much research has been done on this. Please look up Paul Heroux' work, published February 2026, on EMF and the development of diabetes. I strongly support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.
