Please look into how 5G towers placed on roofs of elderly/disabled HUD apartment buildings (in Buffalo, Erie County, NY) affects tenants whose apartments and windows are in the direct line of site of these towers. One example of the many dangers to tenants is overheating of metallic implants by the 5G radiation. My titanium dental implants were directly affected causing severe pain, nausea, radiation poisoning symptoms etc. until I was forced to remove them. My biologic dentist's X-rays showed the implants affecting the adjacent bone. The implants became detached from the bones causing the implants to be loose and easily slip out so they could then be replaced with ceramic implants. The ceramic replacement alleviated all the dental problems. I am still exposed 24 hours per day and still have other symptoms that are not as well or easily documented that I cannot alleviate, and which I am very concerned about. We have known for decades that high EMF exposure degrades collagen and thus undermines the integrity of the entire body. Please address this before additional irreversible, tragic health problems develop. PLEASE HELP remove or deactivate these 5G towers from roofs of elderly/disabled buildings in Buffalo, Erie County, NY until the safety issues are addressed. These 5G towers were placed March 2021 during the COVID pandemic when my symptoms of radiation poisoning began. PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Thank you!

A dentist attributes a disabling illness and interruption of doctoral study to wireless exposure, reports…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
Public Comment Regarding Electromagnetic Fields, Radiofrequency Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I write as a healthcare professional, a Doctor of Dental Surgery, and a patient who experienced a severe, debilitating illness that I attribute to wireless radiation exposure. In 2020, I developed extreme fatigue, significant hair loss that occurred in clumps, skin rashes, joint pain, profound difficulty sleeping, and severe upper respiratory and breathing problems. These symptoms were unlike anything I had previously experienced. The illness disrupted nearly every aspect of my life and became so disabling that I was forced to withdraw from the second doctoral program I was pursuing. Although I was not hospitalized, laboratory testing revealed a markedly elevated D-dimer level. My physician subsequently told me that the result warranted evaluation in an emergency department. I believe the seriousness of my condition was not adequately recognized at the time. I did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine. I have photographs and laboratory records documenting the symptoms and medical findings associated with this period. Recovery took nearly a year. During that time, I purchased a shielding-fabric enclosure for my bed to reduce exposure while sleeping and arranged for wired connections in my home to minimize reliance on wireless technology. I also substantially reduced my cell phone use and other sources of exposure. In my experience, these changes were an important part of my recovery and have helped me avoid another similarly debilitating episode. Even after recovering from the acute illness, I continued to experience sensations of heat and burning when using a cell phone for approximately another year. I still occasionally experience burning and buzzing sensations in my skin, particularly near large 5G installations. The consequences were profound: loss of health, interruption of my education, significant changes to my home and daily activities, and fear of recurrence. I believe my illness placed my life at risk. I have also encountered patients who report similar symptoms and experiences. Their accounts, and mine, deserve serious investigation, careful documentation, and a meaningful response. I strongly support HHS taking an active and accountable role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions affecting human health must be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health. The experiences of individuals and families who report being affected must be considered alongside the scientific evidence and treated as a meaningful source of information for further investigation. I urge HHS to rigorously evaluate these experiences and the available scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, and examine whether existing exposure standards adequately address present-day conditions. This review should specifically consider cumulative exposure, multiple simultaneous sources, prolonged exposure in homes and schools, and the experiences of individuals reporting heightened sensitivity. Children and other potentially vulnerable populations require particular attention. Potential effects on animals and the environment also warrant investigation. HHS should establish clear federal research priorities, support independent studies, and publicly communicate its findings and remaining uncertainties. In my view, continued expansion of wireless infrastructure should be paused where adequate safety evidence is lacking, pending a thorough, independent assessment. Individuals should not have to experience disabling illness before their concerns receive meaningful federal attention. I ask HHS to respond with the urgency, transparency, and diligence this issue demands. Please investigate these reports, address deficiencies in research and oversight, and take appropriate action to protect public health. Thank you for providing individuals, families, healthcare providers, researchers, and scientists an opportunity to be heard on this critical public health issue. Kristen Graham, DDS

The commenter requests nationwide replacement of smart meters with analog meters and action on 5G towers,…

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I would like Smart meters to be removed nationwide and transition back to safe analog meters that don't emit harmful radiation or pose a fire hazard the way Smart meters do also the 5G towers are a problem and need to be addressed.

Our family’s personal experience with EMFs has been deeply concerning, and we want our experiences to be heard. I personally experience what feels like physical effects when we are near certain cell towers. As we drive by, I sometimes feel symptoms that I associate with the towers, and when stopped at traffic lights near equipment mounted on utility poles, I experience pain. Living in an area where this infrastructure continues to expand has made daily life increasingly difficult for me. My family has also had a very difficult experience involving my son. We traveled out of state to tour a college, and after 5G equipment was added to the area, he became extremely ill while he was there. He could barely go outside without turning pale and feeling terribly sick. He only lasted a few days before we had to bring him home, resulting in the unexpected expense of moving him and his belongings all the way back. I also experience a burning sensation in my hands when holding a cell phone. While my children were in school, they experienced severe migraines in classrooms where Wi-Fi routers were located directly inside the classrooms. After additional signal boosters were installed, we felt their symptoms became even worse. These experiences have affected our family’s daily lives, education, finances, and overall well-being. We understand that individual experiences do not, by themselves, establish the cause of symptoms, but we believe they deserve to be heard and taken seriously. We are asking for greater transparency, careful investigation, independent research, and consideration of the people who report experiencing symptoms in areas where wireless infrastructure is expanding. Communities deserve access to clear information about these installations, the opportunity to voice concerns, and meaningful consideration of their experiences before more equipment is added. Our family should not have to feel that we must choose between participating in modern life and feeling well in our own community. Please listen to the people who are raising these concerns.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent. I know my family is impacted because we get headaches near 5G towers and our sleep is impacted, too. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am concerned about the proliferation of 5g cell towers and their effect on our population and environment. Some organizations such as the WHO and Health Canada have suggested that their studies show limited impact to people and animals (minor effect on skin and eyes) but other studies cite those studies were not complete (science direct.org /toxology report.) They state that 5g indeed affects skin and eyes but also daily exposure will impact people’s entire system. Also stated that children are particularly vulnerable to 5g radiation. I am particularly concerned for my grandchildren and their health as well as our population, wildlife and our environment.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields(EMF,) Radio Frequency (RF), and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. Both my husband and myself developed tinnitus after a cell tower was installed in our neighborhood. It has caused nervous tension and sleep disturbances for the last 5 years. My husband has also developed repeated issues with vertigo which has dramatically affected our lives. I support HHS in taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health, medicine, biology and public health and the experiences of individuals and families who report having been affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge the HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. Thank you for providing individuals and families with the opportunity to be heard.

I am a citizen who fears 5-g, as I have high blood pressure, 152/80, though taking medication as prescribed by a cardiologist. I have shortness of breath, and am fearful that 5-g could make me worse. I do avoid any 5-g exposure as much as possible. As a person who fears 5-g, I am restricted geographically. For instance, I missed an opportunity to buy a lake property, Paddock Lake, WI, because when going to see the property, i saw it was within a few hundred feet of a 5-g tower. I fear the health effects for me and for my visiting family, especially the grandchildren who range in age from 6-11. I believe the communication-industry profit drives the community to allow 5-g in spite of the welfare of the community. The tower near Paddock Lake, WI was on Fire-station Property. I am sure it was an economic benefit for the station, but not a health benefit for the firemen or the local neighbors. That tower was the sole reason I would not buy the home on the lake. It is not a risk I can take, though I would have loved to live there had I not been so fearful of 5-g.

I personally have been harmed, back in 2018 I became Electromagnetically sensitive, all that's been put out into the atmosphere with the cell towers, etc.my body started to react and it's been truly horrible. I cannot tell you enough of the personal physical and emotional anguish since and they all along that some people would not be able to tolerate it and their nervous systems, etc would become sensitive. Please Secretary Kennedy find out what is happening as well, where it's coming from, cell towers or satellites intermittent throughout the day and night very strong frequencies are being sent and affecting people. They make my body vibrate intensely and cause a lot of anxiety. I'm sure they are affecting people even if they aren't EMF sensitive , in a variety of ways. Please get to the bottom of it, expose what is going on and put a stop to it.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent and employer. I am an owner of a small business working in the oil and gas industry. We build communication towers and hang various antennas to transmit data. We also inspect existing towers as well as repair equipment and hang new equipment on existing towers. If the existing towers have a 5G antenna, our employees need to wear radiation protection and avoid getting in the RF path of the device. If the signal is that strong and that dangerous then humans do not need to be in homes with that signal flowing throughout them. Humans also don’t need to be holding devices in theirs hands, pockets, bras or placing them against their heads or in their ears. People deserve to know exactly how all of this is affecting them and their families. The dangers of the toxins in our world have been covered up and downplayed for far too long. Please get some real answers and tell the American people the truth.
