I am writing this in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.
I appreciate that you provide individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard on this very important subject!
I have managed to keep my household low on EMF's (we don't have wireless wifi and don't use cell phones at home) and have therefore not suffered personally any adverse effects I have witnessed others suffer serious health problems from exposure to wireless radiation and therefore support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.
I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thanks for taking this to heart!

I have followed the implementation of wireless technology and the discussions around that for decades. I'm convinced that wireless radiation can be, and often is, harmful to various life forms. Please STOP expanding wireless networks.

Though I am one of the fortunate ones who is not electromagnetic sensitive, I advocted in front of the Loveland, CO, city council on behalf of residents of the "Artspace" building on 5th St. in downtown Loveland, who suffered and are still suffering greatly from the effects of a 5G base station placed on the roof of their building. People in the building got extremely sick and a number of them moved out. A woman right below the tower, developed cancer. Pets died. Neither the city, nor the building owner, refused to do anything about it. Fortunately, the ones who moved out recovered. Since it is a low-income building, many just did or do not have the means to move out and remain there suffering. Wireless radiation, especially 5G, does not align with the natural electromagnetic rate of the human body, therefore is just plain dangerous. I have taken a stand against this technology and gave up my cellphone in 2020. Unfortunately, the world we live in is built on wireless technology to a good extent right now, so we need the support of HHS and the FCC desperately.

Wireless radiation has affected me personally. When exposed to WiFi, wireless routers, modems, cell phones and Bluetooth I have often felt ill…including headaches, nausea and fatigue. I believe that there are many other people who are affected but don’t know that EMFs are causing their symptoms.

Wireless radiation gives me headaches. Too much radiation within a building, such as from many people gathered, all of whom are carrying cell phones, will give me a headache. Going too close to certain cell towers gives me a headache. Sometimes the headache lasts all day. Sometimes the headache is relieved by the practice of grounding, putting my bare feet on the earth or on concrete. If I don't encounter radiation, I don't commonly get any headaches. It is hard for me to go into big cities, as it is hard to avoid cell towers there.

i am writing in regards to my own complaint and concern about wireless radiation. I experience intermittent pain in my wrist and hand while holding and using my cell phone. I have owned multiple different cell phone and used different carriers and this has been an ongoing problem for over ten years. This is clearly abnormal and I do not feel good about using an object that causes pain, however I feel I have been pushed, along with our entire society, into using technology that I do not believe is safe or beneficial to human biology.
I would really be happy if an honest study and report by the HHS would be done on the effects of EMF, Radiofrequency Radiation and Wireless Radiation on human life. I feel that human life needs to be protected from damaging technologies. I believe that phone and cell tower industries are more interested in monetary profit than the effects of the technologies on human life, especially babies, pregnant mothers and children. May the HHS please place people over profits.
I am well aware of the dangers of unprotected EMF exposure. I do all that I can afford to do to protect me from this bombardment. Most Americans are not as savvy as I am about this subject and how EMF exposure affects the body, especially young children that are still developing. Americans need educating about how to protect themselves and their families. Praying that something can be done about this.

PERSONALIZE YOUR COMMENT HERE: Tell HHS how wireless radiation has affected you, your child, your family, or someone you care about. You may describe the source and duration of the exposure, health effects experienced, when they began, whether reducing exposure made a difference, and how these experiences have affected daily life. If you are an ally, describe why you support people affected by wireless radiation and why you believe HHS should address this issue.

I am just a citizen, trying to minimize my exposure to harmful radiation, so I'm no expert.
We already are exposed to wireless radiation in our homes, our cars, our phones when we're even walking down the street.
We need questions about our health to be addressed by agencies with expertise in fields like medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health.
The experiences of citizens who report being affected should be taken seriously.
I hope HHS will carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, with special attention given to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.
