Hello, as a citizen of the United States of America, I am a proud woman with a capitalist mindset. That said, we cannot allow big businesses of any type to continue to run rampant and harm our health. For decades, we have allowed businesses and lobbyists dictate what is good for America, and for decades they have been wrong. We continue to get more unhealthy, sicker and weaker as each year goes by. EMF Radiation is one of those things that has become both commonplace AND extremely harmful. We all carry cell phones, and most have no idea what the safe operating range is because they do not know where to look for that in their settings and nobody is openly disclosing it. My phone is 8 inches! Who talks on the phone with it 8 inches away from their head? We have microwaves, Smart meters, fit bits, 5G towers, and a multitude of other devices surrounding us, both known and unknown.... What about Data Centers? How are they safe when people and animals are effected that live around them? Here are some studies that you should take notice of and change the laws and regulations - for the HEALTH of AMERICAN PEOPLE! Just a few complications from these towers allowed everywhere. Tissue heating and burns Strong radiofrequency or microwave exposure can heat tissue enough to cause injury. Heating is the main established interaction of radiofrequency fields with the body. Nerve and muscle stimulation Strong low-frequency electric and magnetic fields can induce electrical currents in the body that stimulate nerves and muscles. Visual sensations, such as flickering lights Sufficiently strong low-frequency fields can produce these temporary sensory effects. Interference with implanted medical devices Some electromagnetic sources can interfere with pacemakers and other electronic implants. This is a device-interference risk, distinct from direct tissue injury. Childhood leukemia: Some studies associate long-term exposure to higher residential power-frequency magnetic fields—typically average levels above approximately 0.3–0.4 microtesla—with increased childhood leukemia risk. This is an association, not established causation; laboratory research has not provided a consistent explanation. Those numbers are study categories, not proven harm thresholds. Cancer from radiofrequency exposure: IARC classified radiofrequency EMFs as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Group 2B). That means a causal link could not be ruled out, but chance, bias, or confounding could not be excluded either. It does not mean phones or Wi-Fi are proven to cause cancer. Human studies have not shown a consistent increase in cancer from non-ionizing EMF exposure. Commonly claimed effects that are not established at everyday levels These include: Headaches, fatigue, dizziness, or difficulty concentrating. Insomnia and other sleep disturbances. Anxiety or depression. Infertility or reproductive harm. Hormonal or immune-system disruption.

This is a second person account, but the person in reference is dead so he cannot speak for himself. I and concerned neighbors picketed a church for two years, because of a proposed cell tower on church property, that would materially impact our neighborhood because of it close proximity to our homes. One Sunday morning Jerry, a local coach and teacher approx 50 years old (and his 12 year old son) approached me on the the picket line and asked me if I felt the WIFI in his classroom and the headset and phone he constantly had next to his head when coaching could have caused the Gioblastoma he had in his brain. I was not versed in what teachers are subject to in our district, nor did I know enough to give Jerry any kind of appropriate answer, I gave Jerry some websites to go to and felt badly that I at the time was not educated enough to give Jerry some answers. He was concerned that the WIFI and Headset and close phone usage may have caused this. Jerry Died in 2024 of geoblastoma at the age of 50 leaving a young family. I am no expert, but is a teacher standing between the WIFI and 25 laptops and probably 25 phones eminating signal a problem. That is something teachers should be concerned about. I knew nothing about this in 2022. Jerry is prematurely dead, when are we going to start really looking at this. A data base of to be able to see these complaints and possible causes would be a great tool and a great start to pinpointing world wide proximitey, assumed cause, outcome. It sickens me to see the Jerry's of the world simply forgotten for something no one told them was a concern.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects. I ask HHS to: •Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups. •Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest. •Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools. •Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

Bansal and Mahajan, 2018 found in a study of 450 Indian children under 15 years of age in the pediatric department at the teaching for tertiary care that more than one third of them ( 35.7%) were suffering from eye symptoms including eye strain and eye watering (8). In another recent study, which included 177 Saudi students studying at a middle school in the city of Riyadh, their ages ranged 12 to 116 years old, found that using the smartphone for more than 28 hours a week causes visual disturbance [9]. Ear problem Increase the temperature in the ear lobes by approximately 10 degrees Celsius may cause auditory disturbances when using the mobile for a period of 20 minutes continuously and for longer periods because the radiation emitted from the mobile may cause damage to the sensitive parts of the inner ear, as well as people who use phones including children for 2-3 hours a day and for a period of 3-5 years may be exposed to the occurrence of partial deafness and even may eventually exposed to ear tumor or permanent hearing [8]. Neurological effects Neurologically, the microwave radiation emitted from mobile phones through the Wi-Fi device is mostly affects the head region [10]. In a study carried out by Cerutti R, et al (2016) they revealed that exposure the adolescents to some harmful effects like headache attacks and other somatic problems as result to excessive use of mobile devices [11]. And exposure to headache was significantly associated with mobile phone use among Twainish children in another study published in 2015 [6]. Recently, Jo Fowler and Jan Noyes, found that the children aged 11- 14 years in south west of England at risk of muscular skeletal problems due to mobile use [4]. Psychiatric effects In a recent study conducted in South Korea by Seong-Soo Cha and Bo- Kyung Seo revealed that the lethargy and depression were more in risk group (excessive mobile users) than the normal user group, and these findings were tendency to significant difference [12]. But in another study carried out on a group of Japanese young people aged 15-19 years, it revealed that the use of mobile phone for social networking services, and conversation with others for two hours or more is significantly linked to a high risk rate with depression [13]. Some studies indicate that there is a correlation between the use of mobile phones and stress, some of which negate this as it is difficult to interpret and summarize the relationship between them [14]. Some researchers have proven that mobile use causes increased stress and others have proven the opposite [14]. In a study conducted on a group of high school respondents, their mean age was 11.97 years [15]. The reason for this may be that Children may experience various biological and psychological changes during their lifetime for a daily period [15]. As for the correlation between exposure to anxiety and the use of mobile phones, two recent studies proved to have been set forth investigating by Elhai, et al and another by Nassehi, et al [14]. They proved that there is an important correlation between the occurrence of anxiety and the use of mobile phones." Sleep problems and brain tumor info was also mentioned in the article. But they take up more space than I have here.

Children absorb more MWR than adults because their brain tissues are more absorbent, their skulls are thinner and their relative size is smaller. MWR from wireless devices has been declared a possible human carcinogen. Children are at greater risk than adults when exposed to any carcinogen. Because the average latency time between first exposure and diagnosis of a tumor can be decades, tumors induced in children may not be diagnosed until well into adulthood. The fetus is particularly vulnerable to MWR. MWR exposure can result in degeneration of the protective myelin sheath that surrounds brain neurons. MWR-emitting toys are being sold for use by young infants and toddlers. Digital dementia has been reported in school age children. A case study has shown when cellphones are placed in teenage girls’ bras multiple primary breast cancer develop beneath where the phones are placed. MWR exposure limits have remained unchanged for 19 years. All manufacturers of smartphones have warnings which describe the minimum distance at which phone must be kept away from users in order to not exceed the present legal limits for exposure to MWR. The exposure limit for laptop computers and tablets is set when devices are tested 20 cm away from the body. Belgium, France, India and other technologically sophisticated governments are passing laws and/or issuing warnings about children’s use of wireless devices."

The commenter raises concerns about mutation-related cancer risk and calls for regulation of exposure.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
I have a gene mutation which greatly increases my chances of getting cancer. Because of this, I do my best to remove or avoid toxins in and around me at all times. EMF radiation, RF radiation and Wireless radiation should be regulated so that they cause as little harm to people as possible. This includes those of us who are more susceptible to damage from it.

Massachusetts town north of Boston is allowing a utility to de-colocate from multiple existing distributive antenna systems (DAS), and install multiple new omni directional antennas within a 475 foot radius of the existing DAS units.. FCC reports indicate the utilities service coverage is 5G or 5G+ at all of the DAS units. There are no gaps in coverage. It appears to be a financial maneuver disguised as an up grade from DAS units, that provide optimum coverage as reported by the utility to the FCC coverage maps, The nine new nodes create emission over lap with the existing DAS units. The emission overlap will not be monitored or measured by the town or the utility. At one application location, two DAS units and two omni directional units will all be located within 1/3 of a mile or less from each other. This creates emission overlap of either two or three nodes, none of which will have emission levels monitored/tested by the town or utility. There are cancer clusters around at least one node including lung, prostate, follicular. Residents nearby report unexplained long term symptoms of not feeling well. The town approves the applications under the premiss that they cannot deny or redirect the utility. The residents become victims of the results.

ORIGINAL COMMENT · UNEDITED TEXT
COMMENT My legs and lower back were pained to the point that walking could only happen with support – looking back after some time this could be linked to a new TETRA mast which had been installed in the village. Two wires crossing the gardens were changed to high-tension wires that would enable broadband to be carried. Two years later in 2010 a shocking event further changed my life after an electrical company arrived where I lived and proceeded to cut down trees in the area, under wires and to allow accessible connection to the mast. Electricity meters were also changed in all the houses. At 5.00 pm on that evening my body was assaulted on many levels with effects such as a feeling of alert/panic, palpitations, my burning skin felt as if it wanted to turn inside-out. These were combined with a high-pitched ‘noise’ and a second ‘noise’ that sounded like a diesel engine running. Over the next few nights my body was still on alert and my body was actually thrown out of the bed and in those few seconds I woke up balancing myself on my feet with my arms stretched out before me. The companies related to the mast and electricity were contacted and sound professionals but none were helpful. An inability to sleep as my body was being tormented led to personal attempts to find the source of the noise and wandering down streets and lanes in the dead of night became usual. No source was ever found. Why – because what was happening had already been well studied by Alan Frey in USA and it was called ‘microwave hearing’. The inability to sleep saw attempts made to seek sleep, rest and peace in the car, shed, tent in the garden etc but the ‘noise’ was everywhere. For safety in the dark hours I had to sleep on a mattress downstairs after removing electrical wiring in the fire alarms etc. That was the first physical indication that it was definitely electricity that was causing these effects. Occasionally it was necessary to ask friends if I could spend a night in their house as my home and village was, for me, dangerous. The ‘noise’ was not in other parts of the county and this was another clue leading to my discovery that I was suffering from electrohypersensitivity/microwave sickness. I experienced area after area in the county changing as technological infrastructure was installed. After a year of pain, vertigo, anxiety, concentration issues, palpitations and pain/seizures in legs and eventual wearing down of my body a stage was reached when I knew I had a choice of dying or moving house. What was of great interest was the inability of other people to experience the effects of the changes. Moving was achieved with the help of good friends and since then ‘smart’ meters have been installed leading immediately to an environmental deterioration. The exponential rise of technology has seen additional effects such as nose-bleeds, more variety of pain, memory issues, burning and tingling of skin (like ants running over me), inability to sleep, no peace and no rest, no silence, no possibility of reflection or indeed of staying in one place for long as my body absorbs the electromagnetic/low frequency pulsed microwave radiation from modern technology. My life is now about balancing out positive activities, especially in wooded areas and avoiding places where people congregate such as hospitals, travel, theatres, film houses, public transport, public services – places where people congregate and are drawing in signals with their mobile phones and tech devices Two years after moving CANCER was diagnosed Given the account of my experience of man-made artificial pulsed, modulated, directional signals from modern technology I believe that one reference book is sufficient to cover all effects with up-to-date proven and clear evidence from independent scientists who actually study the biological and health effects of Radio Frequency Microwave and Extremely Low Frequency Electromagnetic Fields as used in wireless communications and other technological applications. That book is entitled ‘Electromagnetic Fields of Wireless Communications: Biological and Health Effects and includes a number of studies by well-known scientists in the field. It is edited by Professor Dimitri Panagopoulos and published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group 2023. It is also available as a PDF on Researchgate: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/366089127_Electromagnetic_Fields_of_Wireless_Communications_Biological_and_Health_Effects Re: Microwave Hearing – a study entitled Microwave Auditory Effect written by Dr. James C Lin, formerly a member of the ICNIRP is available at: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/363461470_The_Microwave_Auditory_Effect
