Hello, Thank you for giving me this opportunity to submit testimony about the harmful effects of EMF radiation. I am preparing to do battle with National Grid, even as I write. About 6 weeks ago they installed a data-collection antenna on top of the pole directly outside my house, and outside my bedroom window. They told me that the antenna was not active yet, but immediately my sleep started to suffer. I woke up five or six times a night, and eventually, by 2 AM, I couldn't get back to sleep at all. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. I have an EMF reader, an Accoustimeter, and although I was getting a continual reading from the pole --- INSIDE my house --- it wasn't super high. But what was happening was that, every hour, about 10 minutes past the hour, the antenna emits 10 -15 very high pulses, and that is what keeps waking me up. I can't sleep in the room at all anymore. I have moved to the other end of the house, and sleep on the living room couch! I am, of course furious. I am going to make life hell for them at National Grid until they do something about it. I would also like to mention that 15 years ago I was living in another part of the state, in a more urban environment, with my mother and sister. We knew absolutely nothing about EMFs, and none of us even had a cell phone. Completely without our knowledge or consent, the town installed a smart meter on our home, replacing the old analog meter. My mother and sister started to complain about sleep problems around that time, but we couldn't figure out what might be causing it, and decided that the problem was a difficult family situation at the time. I don't think so any longer. In two years, they were both dead, from very aggressive, sudden-onset cancers. I am convinced that the EMF exposure killed them. Believe me, EMF exposure causes insomnia, and it causes cancer.

I had a gizmo put into my electric box so that I could turn off circuits at night. It helped me sleep and my SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) got better. Then it stopped working and the guy who sold it to me would not honor the warranty. My SIBO returned and my sleep got worse. Since then I have put in a Blueshield. Gradually my SIBO is improving and I am sleeping better but not great. During this time Delmarva put in a smart meter against my will. Also the number of antennae in the area where I live keeps getting higher and higher. When I first moved here, there were hardly any antennae. But now there are 124 within a three mile range! I need to move.

I got a letter from Kevin Mollus, the DC Council in 2020 after giving my testimomy on the symptoms + miseries I ha e due to this technology! It has robbed me of Rem sleep in my late 70's when I need it most!! I was diag osed by Bill Rea in 2000 in Texas as he was testing people in a hospital room to wifi + fully understood the dangers! So glad Rfk Jr won that lawsuit he + Mollus were fighting against tbd FCC but wondering what will happen when a technology is unfit + not within needed...mesning safe and researched limits for human exposure + use! I applaud Rfk for winning the suit in Defense of Children...now it is time to disarm it + install only that which only has the proper limits + studied protections for human's utilization. NO MORE EMFS THAT HARM...I AM already HARMED! Do what is right for all Americans! I am like a Canary in the Coalmines!! Radiation is not visible or felt my most who get Cancer from it! Do what is right!...tired of burning, stinging, hurting, crying + being dissmissed + disbelieved by ordinary people, let alone the AMA! Thank you!!

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient and parent. I purchased my home 10 years ago and around 2020-2022 time frame I started suspecting that wireless radiation was affecting me as I was experiencing many of the symptoms that are common complaints: fatigue, couldn’t sleep, headaches. Around 2024-2025 I started feeling additional symptoms of dizziness, loss of balance, and skin problems. I started shutting my WiFi off at night and sleeping improved. Around the same time a 5G small cell tower was installed approximately 250 feet from my home without notification or say in the matter. Similarly, my utilities company stopped servicing my analog meters, and installed 7 smart meters on my row home without notice. I asked the utility company to bring back my analog meters and their answer was that ‘we can do it for you if you pay $75/mo plus get your 6 neighbors to agree to the same.’ Not reasonable at all. Now it’s 2026 and I’m diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, usually benign but has already caused hearing loss and more vertigo. My symptoms improve when I’m away and come back when I return home. This is impacting my life significantly and has potential to be disabling and even require brain surgery. I am a single mom and the only one taking care of my child. I can’t be disabled or not work. HHS should address this issue asap. It will only get worse with 6G on the horizon. I am even more concerned about the impact this could be having on my child’s brain, short and long term. I would move but where is there to go to escape when they are allowed to build on any ROW without notifying and permission of the community. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices. I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development. Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure. Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects. I ask HHS to: •Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups. •Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest. •Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools. •Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient. Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

Well not only have I been unable to sleep well for probably 8 years or so since they put something on my gas meter to be able to read it without checking the meter, but I also have a friend that moved into a house cancer free over 10 years ago and there's a Wi-Fi Tower right in the backyard over the fence and now she has colon cancer and doesn't have much time after dose after dose of chemotherapy. I believe there needs to be something done about this situation. There's more and more Wi-Fi Towers going up all the time, at the rate they're going up it's only a matter of time before almost everyone has cancer. And the cancer rate is already astronomical just from all the processed food and the crap that gets sprayed in the air so just what we need is more ways to give us cancer. Please do something about ALL OF IT!

The power company switched out our regular electric meter for a smart meter several years ago without letting us know. I have felt badly ever since & my husband can't sleep well at all since then. We asked them to change it back & they told us if they did, they would charge us a lot more for electricity which we can't afford. I am really upset about this as I am so worried about the way I feel since then and my doctor can find no physical reason for it. We should certainly have some say when they put these harmful things on our house without our permission. Many of them have also caught on fire which is really worrisome.
