Research & federal duties

For approximately the past ten years, beginning around 2015, I have experienced significant neurological and physical health challenges, including chronic headaches, debilitating migraines, persistent dizziness, vertigo, cognitive dysfunction, and overwhelming fatigue. These symptoms have profoundly affected my quality of life and ability to function independently. I am particularly concerned about the possibility that electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure may contribute to or exacerbate my neurological symptoms. My concerns have been heightened by genetic testing that identified four single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) within my CACNA1C gene. This gene encodes a component of the CaV1.2 voltage-gated calcium channel, which plays an important role in neuronal signaling, cellular calcium regulation, and nervous system function. The interpretation of my genetic testing suggested that these findings could indicate increased susceptibility to the biological effects of electromagnetic exposure. Although the relationship between CACNA1C variants and sensitivity to everyday electromagnetic fields has not been clinically established, I believe this is an important area deserving further scientific investigation. My experience raises questions about whether genetic variations affecting calcium-channel function could influence individual responses to environmental exposures, particularly among people already experiencing neurological dysfunction. Over the past decade, my headaches, dizziness, and other neurological symptoms have substantially interfered with my daily activities, physical endurance, cognitive functioning, and overall well-being. I am asking the Department of Health and Human Services to investigate whether genetic differences, including variations in genes involved in calcium-channel regulation, may contribute to individual susceptibility to electromagnetic exposures. I believe that research examining potential interactions between environmental electromagnetic fields, genetic predispositions, and neurological health could provide valuable information for patients like me who have spent years searching for answers. I respectfully request that federal health agencies recognize the importance of investigating these questions through independent research, including studies that evaluate genetic variation, long-term exposure patterns, and neurological outcomes.

I am responding as an individual Consumer, with an autoimmune disease, ongoing organ system(s) damage, that includes, but is not limited to nervous system damage. My background is "turnaround" Private Sector HC Operations - many patient groups/LOC's - multiple States. Followed by decades in Government, including but not limited to spanning two decades as an HHS Mandated Federal Position, required to exist in a State System, and identified issues with the Federal, State, to County - Local, etc., (i.e. "ALL sides"), on many topics regarding HHS activities - all levels of Govt. My types were charged to analyze, identify, state the facts & implement the Law and that included, but was not limited to defending them in litigation matters - WITH NO ERRORS ALLOWED due to potential "political fallout." Via at the time, a beyond corrupt Judicial System, spanning two centuries, not only regarding Health Care Company Defendants & but also due to chosen behavior & actions of their Counsel & Political & Special Interests "friends and supporters." Additionally, unfortunately, this ALSO, meant dealing with Corrupt Federal, State & County Politicians & their funders/controllers & handlers, Staff, DOJ, OIG, Judges, Hearing Officers, etc., including but NOT limited to DOJ Lawyers supposed to be representing my types as Government Counsel, whom at times were just as corrupt, if not more, as opposing Counsel - representing HC (Private & Government) Companies in legal matters, including as newly hired Defendant(s) Counsel, actually being recently former DOJ Attorneys, who were now making the big bucks, by selling out to be Counsel for Companies, via Law Firms, they were previously charged with, doing their job via the Law for Tax Payers and Patients as former Lawyers of DOJ - where many times they did NOT do their jobs based on facts, proven & indisputable, due to "politics." Additionally, as a Consumer, I've researched studies that have been ongoing for years, and at times, Legislative and Judiciary matters - pertaining to technologies implemented on ALL Americans, with little to no oversight, then bureaucracy regarding Special Interests for profit/influence/control, negatively affecting Federal, State & Local Governments, via Politicians & Politically Appointed Mgmt. being controlled by Special Interests, Foreign & Domestic influencers & Corporate Structure - including but not limited to hidden partnerships, via LLC's, Offshores, Sub's, Ownership Percentages, etc., especially in the business environment, and how Legislative and Regulatory have been severely affected, against the Health of ALL Americans, spanning many decades over two centuries. This includes but is NOT limited to Contractors, and their products - many not proven & then found to have "risks" in many matters and do not work or have bad consequences for utilizing, not just Health Care, but business & tech products that utilize the Government Process, to make money, off the backs of the Tax Payers, and as Consumers, to the Judicial & Regulatory Issues, NOT being implemented, stopped, delayed, etc. Due to "politics," not only wasting Tax Payer dollars, but also negatively affecting the health of Americans. All for profit, control and greed. Which is my main point in this Comment. Thus, when we implement technologies, or allow them to be implemented on Consumers, many times, for a variety of reasons, as stated above and scientific unknowns with new & then expanding technologies, the data is NOT there. Then, many years or decades later in some circumstances, the data is there proving these business & tech products are negatively affecting the health of people, then more politics are then applied, after civilian health carnage, spanning decades, and then the Judiciary, including but NOT limited to the US Supreme Court, allow the carnage to continue. One example, via ROUND UP via Monsanto - a former passed Grandfather of mine was a Chemical Engineer & Plant Manager for Monsanto, & whistleblower who warned me, in the LAST century about issues with new technologies & formulae's & materials that made products, actually NOT being safe - but allowed to continue, due to control, greed and politics. Technology & science implemented to develop ROUND UP & other chemicals, that were "deemed safe" at the beginning, but are not. I am responding as a parent, family member, caregiver, healthcare professional, advocate, and concerned member of the public. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence. I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health. I am submitting this comment to share my personal experience with severe neurological symptoms and debilitating sleep disturbances that I consistently experience in environments with wireless radiofrequency (RF) exposure, particularly near cellular antennas, Wi-Fi routers, and wireless devices. My symptoms are severe, disabling, and have dramatically affected my quality of life. When I am near cellular antennas, I experience intense vertigo, dizziness, and a sensation of movement inside my head, almost as though I am on a rocking boat. I describe it as feeling waves moving through my head, even when I am completely still. However, the most devastating symptom is my inability to sleep. When I am in an environment with elevated RF exposure, particularly near cellular antennas, my brain feels as though it cannot shut down. It is an overwhelming sensation of neurological overstimulation. My mind remains constantly active, even when I am physically exhausted and desperately trying to sleep. The best way I can describe it is as if someone were waking me up millions of times per second, preventing my brain from ever transitioning into restorative sleep. It feels like my brain is trapped in a continuous state of alertness, unable to disengage or rest. This is not simply ordinary insomnia or racing thoughts. It is an intense physical sensation that I experience in certain environments, accompanied by dizziness, internal vibrations, and an inability to achieve sustained sleep. Cellular antennas appear to trigger my most severe reactions, although I also experience symptoms around Wi-Fi routers, wireless phones, and other RF-emitting devices. The severity of these episodes can be extreme. I can spend an entire night unable to sleep, despite being completely exhausted. This has profoundly affected my ability to function, work, recover physically, and live a normal life. I have become so debilitated by these experiences that, without the ability to work remotely, I do not know how I would have maintained employment. I understand that the scientific understanding of RF/EMF exposure and its potential health effects continues to evolve. I am not claiming that my personal experience alone establishes causation. However, the consistency and severity of my symptoms in environments where I perceive higher exposure deserve serious scientific investigation rather than dismissal. I respectfully urge HHS to prioritize research into: 1. The potential relationship between chronic RF exposure and severe sleep disturbances, including repeated nighttime awakenings and disrupted sleep architecture. 2. Neurological symptoms such as vertigo, disequilibrium, internal vibration sensations, and perceived neurological overstimulation. 3. Individual differences in reported sensitivity to RF/EMF exposure, including people who experience disabling symptoms at exposure levels currently considered compliant with safety standards. 4. The potential effects of nighttime exposure from cellular infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and wireless devices on sleep and neurological functioning. 5. Objective, independently conducted studies that investigate these symptoms using exposure measurements, sleep monitoring, and neurological assessments. I also urge HHS to consider the experiences of individuals whose symptoms are so severe that they struggle to remain in their homes, sleep normally, or maintain employment. Sleep is a fundamental biological necessity. When a person cannot sleep night after night, the consequences can be devastating. My experience has changed my entire life. I am asking HHS to take these reports seriously, investigate them rigorously, and ensure that people experiencing debilitating symptoms are included in future research and public health discussions. Please don't make public health policy based on input from random people from the internet. I am not a doctor, a physicist, or a researcher in a relevant topic. My opinion or conspiracy theories shouldn't sway policy--only tell you how much of a gap there is between proven safe use of low-frequency light vs public perception.

We need to know all the effects of the high voltage transmission lines. The agents filing for the lines will not tell us the truth. I feel they only tell us what they want us to hear. I live within 1/2 mile of one the proposed routes. I want to know how they will effect me.

I am submitting this comment in response to the HHS's request for information on EMF's, RF radiation and wireless radiation exposure. All of these things should have been throughly researched before use. People are being exposed to radiation with unknown consequences. Illnesses, migraines, fertility issues, and more devastating issues seem to be caused by this radiation exposure. The health of our citizens should not take a back seat to high speed internet and data centers. You must address the growing concerns and stop exposing the American people to deadly radiation. Based on current science, these are safe types of low energy radiation. I am not worried about this type of radiation. I would rather spend our time on ecological disasters and fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticide leaking into our water and causing cancer.
