I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because both myself and at least 4 other of my family members have been irreparably injured by wireless radiation. Genetic testing has shown that members of our family lack a key gene responsible for detoxification of a wide array of pollutants, including wireless radiation. When exposed, our symptoms include headaches, dizziness, rashes, tachycardia, severe chest pain, uncontrollable shaking, and even seizures. Our lives have been impacted such that we no longer are physically able to live near towns or other sites of cellular towers. We are unable to maintain most jobs within the public sector because of the prevalence of wi-fi, Bluetooth, wearable wireless devices, and cellular phones. Increasingly, we are finding it difficult or impossible to travel anywhere, to attend public events, church services, concerts, schools, and other gatherings. We are also unable to drive or ride in newer vehicles with tire pressure sensors, GPS, and other wireless components. In one frightening episode, my infant grandson stopped breathing and turned blue when his mother simply sat down with him for a moment in her sister's emergency services truck, a vehicle equipped with Bluetooth, a mobile Hotspot, GPS, and a host of other wireless technology. Thankfully, my grandson's mother immediately removed him from the vehicle, and he began breathing again. She later measured the radio frequencies within the vehicle with the HF35C detector, and they were higher than the device could register. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.

Thank you for this opportunity to write. My name is Karen H. Rose, reside in Oregon, have cell tower behind my house for last 7 yrs and I have lived there for 7 yrs, it is now 5G, T Mobile, and it has and continue to harm my health daily. I have called them and asked please divert antenna away from my house as it is harming my health. They will not do it. For past year it has been 5G, my daily reactions/symptoms to this radio frequency radiation is blurred vision, memory losses, severe fatigue, dizziness and nausea, hair loss, severe weight loss, severe tinnitus, severe vertigo and balance problems, leaning to one side while walking, pressure in head, labored breathing, insomnia, whole body pain...all severe and permanent now. I also had 2 Cat Scans done within one year showing nodules/lesions in right parietal area of my brain. I have many more symptoms of heart palpitations, floaters and cataracts in eyes, rashes on body, tremors, headaches, gastrointestinal pain, continual pressure in my head, I am not asking to remove the cell tower only to lower the frequencies to my house and my nearby neighbors. Thank you, Karen H. Rose.

The world has changed dramatically since the FCC adopted its human exposure guidelines in 1996, based on science from the 1980s. I have been haunted by Tinnitus, dizziness, and heart arrhythmia whenever over exposed to the electromagnetic radiation, you as the supposed regulatiory agency continue to promote and authorize the proliferation of. It is widely perceived that You are operating without regard for impact to the health and well being of not only the citizenry but of all living beings within our country and beyond. The examination of public exposure levels and considering the real science in setting new regulations/guidelines is way overdue and should be considered a opportunity to meet the mission of the FCC and begin regaining the trust and respect of the populace and world. Transparency in the process will go a long way in effectively meeting your Court ordered task. FCC should request enhanced non partisan oversight from both subcommittees of the Senate and House and the GAO. Full routine reporting, open records of communications and meetings including voluntary Hearings on and throughout the process will in fact help accomplish the task. NEPA should be performed at levels that suite the biological, scientific and true impacts to the disabled and those suffering from Electrom-Magnetic-Radiation Syndrome. EMRS. This is your opportunity to shine, don't blow it or trade it away.

I have been struggling with EHS symptoms since 2016. It came on after a bout with MCS, mutltiple chemical l sensitivity. I cannot write a long comment, because I cannot stay on the computer for long. I cannot hold long phone conversations, nor watch TV or movies. It hindered me making a living because everything involves computer work and I am a writer/therapist. I also cannot stay in a Wi-Fi environment for a long time. This limits my social, employment and general interactions with just about everything.

In 2016 I began noticing many spontaneous symptoms happening while in my home and outside. Up until 2016, I lived a symptom-free life, healthy with no aches or pains for the past 28 years. Then I began to notice frequent spontaneous nosebleeds. Also, more frequent canker sores. I had streaks of light, like lightening, that would grow bigger and bigger obstructing my vision, often called “eye migraine” by eye doctors. I got frequent finger rashes. My thumb would be covered in a spider pattern of red lines that would open into cracks and was raw and painful. I had always been a sound sleeper, but my slumber began to degrade. I would wake up in the middle of the night trying sleep aids. I felt very restless. These symptoms came on so gradually I almost dismissed them. But as I created a list, I realized how many had appeared. I began feeling dizzy with labored breathing as I worked in my kitchen where a “smart meter” was located on the outside wall. Seeking relief for the shortness of breath I tried breathing exercises which helped a little. I began to have heart palpitations and my heart would sometimes pound spontaneously as if wanting to escape my body. I had never had dizzy spells before but now I had to sit down when I got them. I was in a low level worried state not really knowing where to go for answers when a friend recommended the documentary, Take Back Your Power. I watched this documentary and recognized all the symptoms mentioned were the same as mine. I began getting rid of the smart meters at my home and all appliances whose power source was microwave radiation. I am completely symptom free today although still sensitive to exposure. I'm careful not to drive by cell towers and I ask people to turn off their cell phones or let me put their phone in a Faraday bag. I don't attend any gathering of more than 4 people as it's a social disaster to ask people to turn off their phones. Although this unregulated and unsafe use of microwave radiation everywhere has ruined mine and other people's social lives, and I almost totally lost my short term memory, when the smart meter departed, I got my memory back! I am so grateful.

In about 2011, I began noticing that I was bothered by wireless radiation. It began with the newer, Flat TV's, which I could not use. Then, when cable went digital, and after that it escalated to wi-fi and cell phones. After becoming inundated by my many neighbors wi-fi, I had to leave my home and sleep in the country, because I could no longer sleep. I began sleeping in a building I had access to, which helped some. Along with sleep difficulties, the exposure caused me nerve pain up and down my middle, tingling feet, tachycardia, and more. After a hard search on what to do, trying to shield my home to no avail, I made the very difficult decision to move to Green Bank, West Virginia. My former life was not a life I wanted to leave, and like all who have come here, I spent a lot of money making the move. And I spent a lot of money on home shielding attempts. I have lived and owned a home in Green Bank area for 10 years now, and have made a life here, but still find I am frustrated at the limitations that have been placed on me and the other refugees here. At the very least, we need a place to live. A true protected area. Although Green Bank is called the "Quiet Zone," and is better than the outside world, due to no cell towers, smart meters, etc., It is far from perfect and far from the kind of quiet people who have this affliction need. For one thing, wi-fi is everywhere here and we must work around this difficulty. Those of us who suffer from this challenge have a right to a place to live on this earth. This has truly become a 'human rights issue,' and we need help.

My late husband, Steve Jasperse was a contractor, tethered to a cell phone for 20 years for business. In 2008 he was diagnosed with GBM; he passed away June 30, 2010. We are convinced it was his cell phone usage. Please make changes to policies regarding cell phones and towers. There is needless pain and suffering. Many have lost loved ones unnecessarily.

My health has been negatively affected by the increase in EMFs and I have been forced to spend a lot of money obtaining various mitigation products. Exposure to cell phones, antennas, smart meters, routers, and other wireless devices has caused headaches, dizziness and fatigue even though those devices meet the old FCC guidelines. Please review this study to learn more about EMR Syndrome: McCarty DE, Carrubba S, Chesson AL, Frilot C, Gonzalez-Toledo E, Marino AA.
