It took me AVOIDING my office to figure it out. After spending nearly two years refusing Xcel Energy access to install a smart meter, Xcel and the Colorado Public Utilities Commission FORCED US TO INSTALL THE SMART METER, A RADIATION EMITTING DEVICE, or Xcel Energy would shut our electric power off. When Xcel threatened us I was desperate to learn how to protect our live bodies. Constant research about radiation frequencies, including dirty electricity that's inherent in our power grid from 42% wind and solar power delivered to our house... I purchased SaticShield and Aulterra products to shield, filter and "retune" the POWERFUL man-made smart meter radiation and technology frequencies constituting interference with our natural live electrical bodies; including the wifi router, cell phones, laptop, desktop and big screen tv. We applied individual products to the technology devices, a whole house filter to our electrical lines and each of our automobiles. We wear the protection on our bodies as well. Finally the buzzing in my head reduced some and sleep was improved some. We shielded the FORCED UPON US smart meter from pulsing extremely heavy loads of radiation into our kitchen where we stand to cook and walk past EVERY DAY. What do people do that can't afford to mitigate the harmful health effects? Or those that don't know a silent killer is frequenting them every day practically all day and all night? I can't imagine the terror moms and dads have over their young children being constantly bombarded by man made radiation frequencies that disturb the young and old alike and do damage to the DNA level to every live member of mankind, animal kind and plant kind! Yes, the radiation frequencies did not raise my body temperature but they certainly harmed my everyday life!!! The radiation and dirty electricity are sneaky. People are unaware of the huge dirty electricity readings caused by led lights, dimmers, florescent lights, and all those aforementioned technological devices. I'm absolutely appalled by a small town in Iowa where family lives... placing frequency devices DIRECTLY ON all the town's people's WATER TOWER!!! Are you kidding? The corporate officials that took money to do that ought to be ousted in the public square! Those frequencies directly on the water tower destroy the structure of water so desperately needed by every living thing. Stop this madness. Denial is the problem because there's too powerful much money to be made by continuing down this path! The truth is not hidden from the All Mighty. The number one job of "government" is to protect the people and their assets. DO IT.

I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. I hope the FCC will fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because I experience intense physical symptoms when I am in areas with a lot of wi-fi signals and cellular phones. I get very dizzy, have intense ringing in my ears, headaches, nausea, and experience visual problems when I go into an airport, a large discount box store like Costco, or into a a building that has over 10 wi-fi signals from multiple apartments or offices. I've also had friends and co-workers who have ended up with cancerous tumors where they kept their cell phone on their body or against their ear i.e. a brain tumor behind the ear used with phone and cancer in the hip bone where a friend kept their phone hooked to their belt all the time. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.

Please, please take care of our people, especially our children and grandchildren!! Putin said he doesn't have to worry about the USA because they are killing themselves! You can review, rethink, and adjust the safety guidelines! Its unbelievable that they haven't been reassessed since 1996!! We need good science, not from the source! It CAN NOT just be about the MONEY!! Our nation is at risk!! There is so much involuntary exposure! There are thousands of studies proving biological impact on humans and our animal friends! UGH!! I feel that exposure levels do not reflect what we now know about biological effects of EMF, that they are too high and need to be lowered and regulated. I experience heart rate increases near WiFi and bluetooth, but I am unable to avoid it while moving about my daily life. I have friends who get headaches, tinnitus, brain fog, fatigue and body pain around dense EMF sources, including newer vehicles. I know people who must avoid places, whether business or personal, because the EMF fields are dense and debilitating. Because so few people have been educated/warned about proper use of EMF emitting devices, and telecom companies have penetrated into our communities with poor oversight over their support infrastructure, many of us have symptoms without knowing why. Physicians are not trained to suspect EMF exposures as factors in many illnesses. Please consider the quality research that has been done over the decades on microwave exposures, radiofrequency exposures, electrical fields, magnetic fields, dirty electricity, and combinations. Please consider studies that have been performed on the effects of these high fields on all species, and especially humans and especially vulnerable people and children. Please downwardly adjust recommended exposure levels to reduce non-thermal effects to biolotical systems. Thank you.

As a retired RN, I'd like to speak for those of us with EMF sensitivity/illness. We don’t often get a window into the life of a person with EHS (electro-magnetic hypersensitivity) – how isolating it is – how marginalized people are – and how withdrawn they must become to protect what is left of their health. We need to listen with ears wide open. This is real and real people are living greatly diminished lives. Imagine yourself forced to give up a productive life to live on the edge, and that edge keeps moving. Imagine being denied access to business opportunities, education, transportation, healthcare, public participation, recreation and places of celebration and renewal. Again and again we are hearing the same things. I lived a normal life until… smart meters were installed on my wall… until a major cell phone tower was built next door…. until my office installed several wireless routers. My family didn’t understand. It took me some time to realize what was making me sick. It destabilized my relationships. I lost my freedom. People with EHS have to give up so many things most people take for granted in life. Shopping, going out to dinner, attending meetings in public places, going to a child’s graduation or recital, travel along an interstate or by rail or air. Everyday activities that make up the fabric of life are no longer accessible – at least without paying the price. It is an insidious and invisible progression where the activities of daily life are incrementally diminished by exposures that intensify with time, subject to no health and safety accounting at all!!! No one is keeping track of cumulative RF body burdens. There is no governmental agency that is tracking EHS illness reports, nor conducting a serious effort to revise health standards!!! EHS is real and people are being harmed by wireless technology. Please set lower MPEs for this real toxin.

This issue matters to me personally because: I’ve been suffering from EMR Syndrome for 5 years. Whenever there’s a cell phone turned on near me—or Wi-Fi, a DECT phone, a cordless device, or an antenna nearby—I get headaches, pain all over my body, and brain fog. I become aggressive, and if it goes on for too long, I end up with burnout or depression... I’m a musician and flute teacher. I’ve not been able to play in concert the late 2 years. I can still teach, but it’s become very difficult. If I'm in my classroom and there's a cell phone turned on in the hallway, I can't see it, but I can sense it! I have to wear protective clothing—it's very expensive, but it's not enough—and it's very hard to live like this. I’m OK when there is less than 0,020 V/m (HF). I can support with the shielding clothes until 0,2 V/m during one or maybe 2 hours. If it is 1V/m or more, that’s not possible for me, and I’ll be very ill during at least 2 weeks. It’s not possible to travel, nor to go at restaurant, cinema, concert, etc. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.

FCC: I fully support the petition by the Children's Health Defense organization to the FCC to further research and investigate the effects on electromagnetic radiation exposure (EMF) on the human body, particularly young children. It has been many decades since serious research has been done on this subject. I strongly urge the FCC to respond to the CHD petition! I am a mother and a public school teacher. I am filing in Proceeding 13-84 on the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health effects of long-term exposure, and the growth of wireless infrastructure since the Commission last updated its limits. My family lives near commercial radio broadcast towers, and a cellular antenna was later installed nearby, mounted on power lines, without notice to residents. We could find no public registration or record of it. Since living with this exposure, my family has experienced serious health effects, including complications in both of my pregnancies that affected my children. After the cellular antenna was installed, both my husband and I had changes documented in our bloodwork in the same month, with no change in our diet or lifestyle. We were both healthy and active. My doctor has advised that we have done everything we can medically and that we need to move away from the sources of radiation. We are now relocating at significant cost. Long-term exposure and technological change The Commission's RF limits date to 1996. They do not account for continuous, around-the-clock exposure from multiple sources, such as broadcast towers and cell antennas near the same home. Exposure at home continues through the night, when the body needs to rest and carry out its cellular repair. This makes installations near homes especially harmful, because there is no break from exposure during the hours the body depends on most for recovery. RF sources are also increasingly being added in office buildings, hospitals, and schools, so people are exposed at work, during medical care, and at school, then come home to more exposure. There is no break. Wireless infrastructure has expanded enormously since 1996, and families now live with constant exposure they never chose. Children Children absorb more RF radiation than adults, as their brains are not yet fully myelinated, which impacts their neurological development. Exposure during pregnancy not only affects the mother's health during and after pregnancy, but can cause irreversible damage to the developing baby. As a teacher, I see how much RF exposure children have during the school day, including from Wi-Fi routers in classrooms and RF sources placed near playgrounds. Current limits do not protect them. Request The Commission's limits and testing procedures are based on preventing tissue heating. This does not reflect the effects of RF radiation on cellular function, and it does not represent the increased risk for children and pregnant women. I ask the Commission to study the biological effects of RF radiation on cellular function, not only heating. Rather than setting new exposure limits, I ask that this exposure be avoided altogether where people live, learn, and heal: RF installations should not be placed near homes, schools, childcare facilities, hospitals, or playgrounds. I also ask that every installation, including antennas on power lines and utility poles, be listed in a searchable public registry.

This message is not no technology but safe technology. Out-dated government guidelines doest not reflect current science . Manufacturers are allowed to sell products and install wireless infrastructure that emits toxic levels of microwave radiation. Adults,children pets and pollinators are suffering from cell towers, small cell antennas,utility smart meters and our own cell phones, routers,tablets,wearsbles, baby monitors, gaming systems, appliances and other wireless devices. In order to sustain, protect our planet and the living creatures in it, major changes need to be made.
