My family and I were all injured by a 5G frequency cell tower installed in Fall 2021, we had multiple debilitating health conditions until we discovered the root of the problem. We removed ourselves from the situation, and we're all left with EMR-S, (electromagnetic radiation sensitivity syndrome), which has changed our lives. We can no longer work, socialize, do fun things we used to, eat out, be near lots of people, family members shun us and don't believe us, people don't take us seriously and much more. There should be in place accommodations for our disability, so we don't have to fight continuous uphill battles with systems just so we can live our lives in safety and comfort like we used to, because we're surrounded by cell towers, 5G minis, routers, phones, smart meters, etc. I should be able to opt out of my smart electric and gas meters, but the utility companies are ready to fight and ridicule, not help or assist with this disability they dismiss. My life is not the same. It should be the government's job to protect us, and give us injured sensitives rights so we can live normal lives again, especially when it's both government and private entities making money off the cell service, however at peoples' health costs. Me, my wife, and both my kids and mother in law, will never be the same because we can't do the same things we used to in life. We would like to be heard. We want protection and support. Stop putting up cell towers everywhere, and start accommodating to those who have been injured.
I am a licensed architect practicing in Washington DC, and the rules and regulations from a zoning perspective on where to place a cell tower is less stringent than a strip club. We need rules in place with safe distances from which these towers are allowed to be placed. There should be a minimum a 1/2 a mile that these towers are allowed to be installed from schools, homes, office buildings, churches, etc. The risks are too great from radiation exposure and its effects on the blood-brain barrier, especially in children.
I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. There are many studies showing harm to people, plants and wildlife. You can see the trees reacting to towers within their vicinity. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because I have been getting horrible migraines for years until I moved out into the desert where I am completely EMF FREE on my property. My laptop is hardwired into my modem. I have NO S.M.A.R.T. phone, NO S.M.A.R.T. devices or appliances of any kind... NO wireless ANYTHING, and finally my migraines have stopped. PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING AND STOP THIS ONSLAUGHT THAT IS HARMING AND ENDANGERING OUR CHILDREN AS WELL AS THE REST OF THE POPULATION! (not to mention the poor animals, reptiles, insects, birds and bees!!!) I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.
I have been affected my smart meters, close proximity of cell towers, and Wi-Fi. Gas company moved a meter on the back side of my house to the front side less than 1 /12 feet from the head of my bed. They installed a smart meter (I had NO SAY in this). I started waking up for no reason and had difficulty getting back to sleep; unexplained nose bleeds; and a digestive condition started causing me problems at night when it normally calms down! I consulted with an EMF expert, and she immediately found the issue. I have spent $100s (including expert's fee) on blocking material, etc. I contacted engineer at Cascade Natural Gas, and he gave me the typical smart meter "no problem" song and dance. Luckily, I don't run Wi-Fi in my house since I had all connections hard wired. Wi-Fi in hotels and other lodging has cause same issues (primarily sleep). When I am staying in motels, etc. I turn off or unplug (if possible) wi-fi routers etc. I have purchased various personal shielding (again several $100s) that I use when sleeping in motel, etc. I have friends that are more sensitive than I am!! I implore the FCC to take action on these issues! Affects are REAL!
I was sick for many years. I began reading about wireless radiation and how it can affect your health. I began making some changes. -moved my phone to the bathroom for nighttime charging. I started sleeping through the night. -removed my Fitbit -rarely use the microwave -turned off all wi-fi boosters My health has slowly improved. Thank you for listening. Katie Brents
There is absolutely no credibility to supporting safety of airwave saturation with wireless radiation. National Toxicology Program/ Ramazzini Research On RFR Physical Biological Harm: The US National Toxicology Program (NTP) recently released the final findings from its 14 year, $25 million dollar study on bio-effects of RFR. The NTP study, along with another recently released study from the acclaimed Ramazzini Institute in Italy, found clear evidence (their highest classification) of the same kinds of rare heart, brain, and adrenal cancerous tumors and permanent DNA damage. Below is a synopses of these studies, with the links to the scientific journals where they were published: https://ehtrust.org/worlds-largest-animal-study-on-cell-tower-radiation-confirms-cancer-link/
I am profoundly concerned about EMF radiation. My husband with deteriorating Parkinson's and autistic children I volunteer with are especially vulnerable to oxidative stress and brain inflammation. Please stop 5G and the progession of this insult to human and animal health.Levitt, Lai & Manville (2021):
Just because we cannot see it does not mean it does not exist or it does not cause harm. Beyond the pseudo-science proposed by industry backed researchers, the real science is clear. EMF and transmitted radiation does exist and its non-thermal biological effects are real and detrimental to life. The proper role of government is not to sponsor industry but to regulate it when industry's financial interests are opposed to the welfare of the people. Please do your job and regulate this technology so that its effects on public health are minimized.

Here is just one study I believe the FCC should review when addressing the concerns about wireless radiation: McCredden, McLean & Steinemann (2026): Wireless sensitivity and co-morbidities: A prevalence study in Australia, Canada, and the United States https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S3050475926002745 The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because: My family tries to be mindful of our exposure and it is becoming increasingly more difficult to avoid homes, schools, and businesses that are close to cell towers and other wireless sources. Our children end up spending all school day in buildings placed next door to towers, constantly exposed to radiation and there seems to be little regard for the potential impact of long-term exposure. Their school experience is on top of cell phones they may use and the radiation we are all exposed to working from laptops and being connected to the internet all day at work and home. Humans were not designed to withstand these levels of exposure, and research shows that there are real health implications here, especially for still-developing children. We have experienced sensitivity to RF first hand, and worry about the silent toll this is taking on our bodies. I urge the FCC to give meaningful consideration to the experiences and evidence before it and to fully address each of the issues identified by the court.
Our association (AEPOH) offers EHS people a rest in a white zone sanctuary for some weeks to recover from their exposure. This way we meet lots of EHS people. I can assess that • there are really many people suffering from EMF, experiencing more or less severe symptoms when they arrive • some of them have even got homeless because they can no longer live in their highly exposed homes, and have to sleep in their cars in low exposed places • after a while depending on the person (at least a few days, sometimes a few weeks) they are feeling better and their symptoms (headaches, tinnitus, neuromuscular trouble, cognitive trouble, ...) have eased or even disappeared but are sadly coming back when they are re-exposed. As I am neither a scientists nor a health practitioner, I will not give any medical explanations but stick on my testimony. I hope this will convince your department of the reality of EHS and the urgent need to give these people the right to live, especially by reducing exposure levels and creating white zones all around. Sincerely yours, François, chairman of the association.
