Public concern and personal reports deserve respectful consideration, while conclusions about cause and effect should be based on well-designed, reproducible research.\n\nI recommend that HHS prioritize independent research on real-world and cumulative exposures from multiple wireless sources, using validated exposure-measurement methods. Studies should examine long-term outcomes and consider children, pregnant people, older adults, workers with higher exposures, and people with implanted medical devices or relevant health conditions. Research protocols, funding sources, methods, and results—including null or conflicting results—should be made publicly accessible where possible.\n\nHHS should also compare U.S. and international exposure standards, explain the scientific basis and limitations of those standards in clear language, and identify where evidence is insufficient to assess potential risks. Federal agencies should coordinate research priorities and support independent replication of important findings.\n\nPlease include ongoing public health surveillance and practical, evidence-based guidance that can be updated as research develops. The goal should be to address legitimate questions without overstating what current evidence can establish.\n\nThank you for considering this comment.","source_hash":"0bdb4552cf4db8864b098f6916c1b32bff832369447965f39f7c3d924e90b726","filing_type":"","proceedings":"","captured_at":"","source_name":"","number":"2926","withheld":false,"attachment_inventory":true,"capture_reviewed":false,"source":"https://www.regulations.gov/comment/HHS-OASH-2026-0397-2926","slug":"child-development-comment-2926","tags":[],"attachments":[],"attachment_names":[],"classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-2926","body_sha256":"c912ede2134531f233427d202e3dac01a6f822862cc16adffd210f00abfd8eda","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"research","topics":[{"id":"research","evidence":"earch.\n\nI recommend that HHS prioritize independent research on real-world and cumulative exposures from multiple wirele"},{"id":"standards","evidence":"uld also compare U.S. and international exposure standards, explain the scientific basis and limitations of those stan"},{"id":"children","evidence":"examine long-term outcomes and consider children, pregnant people, older adults, workers with higher exposur"},{"id":"reproductive","evidence":"ng-term outcomes and consider children, pregnant people, older adults, workers with higher exposures, and pe"},{"id":"occupational","evidence":"hildren, pregnant people, older adults, workers with higher exposures, and people with implanted medical de"}],"summary":"Requests rigorous independent research, realistic exposure measurements, transparent findings and comparison of standards, with attention to vulnerable groups and ongoing surveillance.","reviewed_at":"2026-10-15T03:51:16Z","review_method":"Source-based AI review of complete published comment bodies; exact topic evidence; attachments and external links not reviewed.","review_source_sha256":"8a2a0771a0152b429d3998a00b6f861c8291ed1612e4772dc4f9cdcc582b1022","source_url":"https://rfsafe.net/hhs-comments/data/catalog.json","scope":"Original comment body; attachments excluded"},"supplied_classification":{"id":"HHS-OASH-2026-0397-2926","body_sha256":"c912ede2134531f233427d202e3dac01a6f822862cc16adffd210f00abfd8eda","status":"ai_reviewed","primary_topic":"research","topics":[{"id":"research","evidence":"earch.\n\nI recommend that HHS prioritize independent research on real-world and cumulative exposures from multiple wirele"},{"id":"standards","evidence":"uld also compare U.S. and international exposure standards, explain the scientific basis and limitations of those stan"},{"id":"children","evidence":"examine long-term outcomes and consider children, pregnant people, older adults, workers with higher exposur"},{"id":"reproductive","evidence":"ng-term outcomes and consider children, pregnant people, older adults, workers with higher exposures, and pe"},{"id":"occupational","evidence":"hildren, pregnant people, older adults, workers with higher exposures, and people with implanted medical de"}],"summary":"Requests rigorous independent research, realistic exposure measurements, transparent findings and comparison of standards, with attention to vulnerable groups and ongoing surveillance.","reviewed_at":"2026-10-15T03:51:16Z","review_method":"Source-based AI review of complete published comment bodies; exact topic evidence; attachments and external links not reviewed.","review_source_sha256":"8a2a0771a0152b429d3998a00b6f861c8291ed1612e4772dc4f9cdcc582b1022","source_url":"https://rfsafe.net/hhs-comments/data/catalog.json","scope":"Original comment body; attachments excluded"},"attachment_metadata":[],"mirror_fingerprint":"cbff13983a6c4b276ed66330b4fbcc9b3c9798ea06a0d3118e815d28dc50a901","seo_modified":"2026-10-29T15:28:52Z","forum_topics":["research","standards","children","reproductive","occupational"],"primary_topic":"research","forum_title":"Requests rigorous independent research, realistic exposure measurements, transparent findings and compari…"}
